Fantastic array of beads! If you need it, they have it. The staff is super friendly and helpful, so very knowledgeable about the products and beading ideas. Need a quick tutorial? Theyll give it to you. Cant say enough about this shop, I can spend hours in Alouette, which is dangerous for my bank account!

Excellent experience. The owner was very patient with us as we went through the store to pick out items. She educated us and even showed best practices when beading. Will definitely be purchasing from this location again.

Loretta is absolutely fantastic, so knowledgeable and helpful! Selection is amazing, almost overwhelming. Store is organized well and always very clean. Current Covid precautions are to use hand sanitizer and wear provided gloves, and she cleans everything you touch if not wearing gloves. Im so glad I recently found this place and look forward to shopping there!

I drive 30 minutes to go to this store. Walked in today and wasn’t greeted but instructed to put gloves on before touching anything, a bit of overkill but ok. They didn’t have what I needed stating they had to purchase 244 of them to stock and “no one wants those”. I have a bead wholesale account and do not have to buy 244 of them but I understand they wouldn’t want to buy them if they won’t sell. I found a few things and went to check out. She states I have to pay cash due to policy of minimum credit card if $5 (I know, big purchase) I explained that this is not allowed in our state, we have laws against it. She said it was her prerogative and everyone does it. Nope, it’s a law. I won’t be back.

Great little local shop. The Younger lady was super helpful and professional. The selection of beads is impressive. Who I believe to be the owner gave me a silk knot tying lesson after expressing my difficulty’s with it. Over all a awesome store. I would highly recommend to anyone seeking quality glass beads.

I LOVE this store. They have such a great selection to choose from and I always find something I love. Such a huge selection of beautiful beads of every kind. I think the prices are pretty competitive. They have always been helpful to me. I only with they had better shop hours. I can only shop on Saturdays because of their short hours.

Im still sitting in their parking lot after spending 20 minutes in there. I was NEVER greeted, asked if I needed any help, acknowledged, etc... I thought maybe thats just how they run their business. Nope, someone came in after me that was greeted and asked if he needed any help. Wow!Ill stick with The Bead Jungle out of Nevada. They gladly ship what you need.I wont be contributing to Alouettes profits!!

I drive from four hours away just to buy my beads here. The selection is incredible. My granddaughter and I love shopping here!

I dont know where that last reviewer went, but I have never seen a security guard at this store. I have been to every bead store in the area many times and this one is by far the best. It is larger and has a wider selection and better prices! And the staff are very friendly and helpful. The new bead shop in Norman is nice and has some unique items, but if you want a large selection of everything, Alouette is the place to go. And their store hours are better than most as well.

I needed items for an upcoming show and I decided to keep my dollars local and return to this shop. After I had been in the shop a few minutes, a woman interrupted my shopping (next to an employee stocking) to tell me I had to lock up my small Coach purse due to their new policy against big purses. I didnt think anything of it, until the customer beside me said she didnt know and she should lock hers up too..so I was singled out and that made me leave. There was no sign on the door saying no purses and the employee told me most people are happy they dont have to carry their purse but really it was just rude. I will not be back.

I always have a pleasant experience when I visit Alouettes! I am always asked if I need help and the help I do get is friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this store.

The store seemed very cute. Well what I saw of it. I left after the clerk or store owner came up to me and told me they had a purse policy. I had to put it in the car or in a locker with a key they provide. It turned me off. So I politely left and will never tell anyone about this place if they are looking for beads. Sorry ladies, but its not a way to gain confidence from your community seeing as you are a local neighborhood shop. This was August 25, 2015

Fantastic selection of beads and findings! The store is well organized and the staff is very knowledgeable and informative about their products.

The young lady at register was very helpful and pleasant but...the older lady that wanted me to lock my purse in a fabric box was very insulting. I will not return for the way i was treated by her! Ilove shopping in smaller stores and to help my community. The owner is a horrible person who treats people disrespectfully..She watched over me like i was going to steal a $1.50 bag of beads it was very insulting!

Will never return to this store. They have a lot of pretty beads, but their purse policy is ridiculous and insulting. Im pretty sure I was double charged for an item, but the way they package their beads makes it almost impossible to tell and the receipt wasnt helpful. Their prices are also not great compared to what you can find online for the exact same products.

Always find something I need!

Like many of the other customers after being in the shop for a few minutes, I was also interrupted and asked to put my purse in a locker. I can understand worry of theft with such small items, but they already have expensive (sterling silver) in a case. Then you have to wait to be shown the sterling. Ill never go back. Not worth my time or money. Their pearls are not good quality and the price is too high. The staff is not friendly.
