I shopped in Houston and Tulsa for wedding dresses. My sister recommended JJ Kelly since her friend had found her dress there. They had the brand I was looking for and we found the perfect dress. They were very helpful and appreciated the selection. Would recommend!

At arrival, was immediately asked my medical history. No hello. No how are you doing. No welcome. No smile. The woman shoved a mask in my face and insisted I put it on without even waiting for an answer. Very rude, especially when considering that customers spend thousands of dollars. Might want to reconsider how you greet and treat customers.

I brought my kid to JJ Kelly to try on flower girl dresses. They had an unique assortment of styles and we found the perfect little dress for the occasion. They were all very friendly and welcoming, were able to place an order for us to get the right size, and efficient when scheduling the initial appointment and dress pickup/fit check appointment. I appreciate how they made it such a fun experience for the flower girl.

Worth the drive from out of state! I loved my experience here! They told me how to prepare for my appointment beforehand and Reagan helped find the perfect dress, she was so patient and worked with me on scheduling payments. Jane was so welcoming and professional, she even gave me a follow up call to let me know how they could be available in the upcoming months and what to expect after the dress arrives. Ive already recommended them to my friends!

JJ Kelly provided such a great experience. I was welcomed from the very beginning. They did a great job of staying within my budget on all the beautiful dresses I got to try on. They were also very patient with me when I was conflicted between two AMAZING dresses that resulted me going to the store 2 more times to finally decide on one. They helped me throughout the whole process. They find the most beautiful dresses and have a lot of variety. Jane is incredibly. She is kind and very knowledgable. I couldnt recommend JJ Kelly more! They also provided me with alterations that were perfect which is always scary to trust someone to alter your dress, but she did a fabulous job!Thank you JJ Kelly for being a part of the best day ever!

I had a wonderful experience when shopping for my wedding dress at JJ Kelly. Jane was extremely helpful in looking through my Pinterest page prior to my appointment of what I was looking for and then pulling dresses based upon that. I really appreciate the time she spent with me trying to find the perfect dress for my big day! Both of my sisters got their dresses here too. It was a wonderful experience and I appreciated their time and attention to detail.

Always elegant!! Even 25yrs later after purchasing my wedding dress here. I brought my son in to get his tuxedo for the prom. The owners son has taken over and he is just as great as his mom..very friendly & helpful 💜⚜

Jane at JJ Kelly was very helpful. She was prepared and had pulled dresses for me before I ever walked in the door. She took her time and helped me try on several dresses. She made me feel comfortable and I enjoyed the experience.

I had the absolute best experience! My consultant was prepared with dresses to my style, helpful, and not at all pushy. I was greeted at the door by name and then was taken straight into looking at dresses. The ladies there made my party feel so welcomed and included in the experience. Im a very indecisive bride but they were so patient and attentive through it all.

Do not shop here.Before even going to JJ Kellys, my friends had told me that the employees and owner are very unkind and snobby, and that if there is any kind of issue, they will bash you to other wedding vendors. Despite all of the warnings I was given, I ended up finding my dream dress at JJ Kellys. The girl that helped me try on dresses was Rylee and it was her first week. She was very nice and about the only nice person there. When my dress arrived, I went to what I thought was just a fitting to see what I needed altered and a price quoted. The seamstress pinned the bottom to see how much would need to be hemmed and then told me I needed to pay that day. I told Regan at the front desk that I wouldn’t be paying that day and she said I could call with a card and the seamstress would just wait to start on it. After finding a more affordable option I called Regan and let her know their alterations were out of my budget and I needed to come get my dress. It turns out they put a $200 alteration cancellation fee on the order form of ordering the dress when I bought it months before. I would completely understand if the seamstress had already started on my dress but she hadnt. So they wouldnt allow me to pick up my PAID FOR dress before paying the extra fee. Literally held my dress hostage. (I wish this was a joke) I really had thought I was just getting a quote and then could decide. Instead of understanding the miscommunication, they were extremely rude. I definitely got the impression that they are just out to get every dime they can from people. During the fitting I thought Jane was simply trying to make conversation by asking if I had bought my jewelry and veil yet. She put my hair into a hair tie without asking me and started putting hair pieces in my hair and pushing me to try on overpriced jewelry that had rhinestones falling off of them.I wish I would have listened to the warnings and found my dress at one of the many other boutiques that are not like this. There is a reason JJ Kellys has the least amount of stars on these reviews compared to other bridal boutiques in OKC.

If you want a top notch bridal salon experience J.J. kelly is your place. Jane was wonderful and after trying on only 3 dresses which by the way I loved all 3 I found the one and knew it instantly. The salon is very clean and taking all the Covid-19 precautions while still making the experience as fun and normal as possible! They are a one stop shop for everything you need, all of my accessories came from them and it was just overall such an easy and pleasant experience! I would recommend them a thousand times over and I’m just so honored that I got to be a JJ kelly bride!

I had a great experience here with Jane. I went in, tried on no less than 25 dresses - bc I had NO idea what may or may not fit my body well. I really liked one dress, but I had to think about it. Then I returned tried on more dresses again - but still had to think about it. (basically, I was not an easy customer). Then I returned again....and finally purchased my dress. Each time I went in I requested to try on almost every pair of earrings they have. During all of this - everyone was so kind me too!!! Jane was sweet, supportive, thoughtful and helpful, without her I would not have such an AWESOME dress, and I am so excited to wear it!Also Jane is very knowledgable about the dresses, and accessories - as she picks many of them out. And they have such a wonderful selection. They will even ship in dresses from other stores and often have trunk shows come visit with more dresses.

I purchased my wedding dress here and I love it. I got it on a discount. I feel confident in it. It was a good purchase which is why I’m giving this shop 4 stars, but that’s being a bit generous.What makes me hesitant to give it 4 is because the customer service, in the beginning, was a little worrisome. I had just been to another bridal boutique earlier that day where they made you feel so important. They first asked about your budget, size, and style before starting. I didn’t really get that kind of service at JJ Kelly’s. My consultant was a bit brash most of the time and I sensed a bit of an attitude as we were going through dresses. She seemed impatient with me and my plan was to politely try on a couple of dresses and then get out of there.Without asking my budget, which I’ve been told is normal for consultants to do, she took me straight to a dress that was way over my budget. I politely said that it was a beautiful dress but a bit too expensive for me. She replied “well I might need to know that before I show you dresses.” She had such an attitude.It wasn’t all bad though. She started getting friendlier as we went on and she didn’t want me to waste my time on dresses that I didn’t like. I liked that there was a big mirror in the dressing rooms. I was almost done with trying on dresses when she said “wait, let me try one more” and that ended up being my dress. It ended up being a good experience even if it didn’t start that way. I chalked it up to it just being her personality. Some people are just really straightforward and sometimes it comes off as rude. I totally get that. I just wish I could look back on my wedding dress shopping experience with a little more happiness, but at-least it turned out ok.

My experience at JJ Kelley was the best! I communicated with Jane prior to my consultation, and she pulled dresses that fit my envisioned style and my budget. I felt so comfortable and beautiful in every dress I tried on.

I had the most amazing experience here. Everyone is so kind. There is no one like Nathalie. She listens and invests time into each and every bride truly making it a unique and amazing experience. She has an eye and a talent for picking the most perfect dress. Make sure you ask for Nathalie when you go! But everyone is wonderful and helped make my day very special.

8-24-19: They must have changed their policy because I was able to take pictures of the dresses I tried on! I did not have an appointment went on Saturday during their walk-in hours. At first I was told I wasnt going to be able to be helped because they were busy (understandable!) but then I was helped anyway. None of the normal stock dresses were in my budget, so I was shown the clearance rack which I didnt have a problem with at all. I was allowed to try on multiple dresses and got assistance, a place in front of a mirror, seating for my guests I brought with me, and one-on-one attention. I ended up finding a beautiful dress that I fell in love with for $3,000 dollars off! Even though the size was much too large, JJs called their tailor and set me up with an appointment that very afternoon to go get it sized. I was worried that having to take in so much of the fabric would alter the appearance of the dress, so they actually called in a tailor specifically for me to look at it in order to put my mind at rest before I said yes! Once I tried on my dress for the final time, the person helping me went HAM dressing me up, putting veils on me, trying different head pieces, even though he knew I would not buy anything else there. It was so fun! Yes, they do come off as condescending at first (I know nothing about high fashion and its obvious), but the gowns they have there are all name brand, couture, and you can find great deals on the clearance rack. If you can look past the staff dropping high profile names and being a little snooty, youll find that theyre quite gracious and accommodating! I know I left very pleased!

They were very knowledgeable and so helpful with an elderly bride. Jane was such a joyful assistant with helpful suggestions on options for wearing the different dresses. We found the perfect one!

Had a weird policy of no photos that made it hard to pick favorites between dresses at different shops. The woman helping me was a great salesman. Her tactics almost worked had it not been for the fact the dress would not arrive in time for alterations. Who knew wedding dresses had such a long lead time? If it’s a standard size then why the long lead time on a simple gown? I ended up going to a place that guaranteed the dress. Overall, my experience was great while trying the dresses on. I just think the policy of no photos is stupid.

We had the best time today! Our daughter Cary Anne was having trouble finding the perfect wedding dress and Natalie was a pure genius figuring out what she wanted for her big day. The dress she chose was the very first dress she tried on!! We had the best experience!!! I even teared up!!!! Stay away... Im honestly embarrassed for them for their lack of customer service. I was talked down to on numerous occasions by Jane over the phone, after already purchasing a dress.I was warned beforehand to not shop here.. I wanted to get a dress from the same shop as my mother had so I went anyway.. I very much regret that decision.On another note I wouldnt advise you to buy anything from Olvis (Netherlands Bridal Designer) either. Long story short Jane and Olvis US Brand Manager Lori are in the wrong business. They should never be allowed to deal with customers. I talked to Lori over the phone about the very long delay of my dress arriving to the US. After we got off the phone she proceeded to call me back, thinking she called Jane. Where she then goes on to talk very negatively to jane aka me about ME. completely unprofessional. I will not be wearing my dress from Olvis or anything from Jane Kelly.However I had amazing experiences and service just down the street at another local shop.

Nathalie went above and beyond! Searching for a plus size dress was SO terrifying but Nathalie eased my mind with how understanding she was about getting me a dress I was comfortable in. She was VERY conscious of our dress budget(however we did buy a veil and headband which put us over budget BUT that was all MY doing ;)) I never felt rushed, in fact, she probably spent more time with me than she was allowed to and I truly appreciated that. I’m visiting from Seattle but I will definitely be recommending any bride I find to go see Nathalie. She made sure my voice was heard when I had questions about fabrics, weight of dress AND adding sleeves. Thank you so much Nathalie for holding so many dresses up for me today!

JJ Kelley has a wonderful selection of dresses and best of all they have NATHALIE!!! She is the absolute greatest and WILL make you look AND FEEL beautiful and confident on your wedding day. Quay on alterations is also INCREDIBLE and makes your dress look like MAGIC! Would recommend this team definitely -- 2 thumbs up!

The first two bridal shops I had went to were friendly and helpful. JJ Kelly was the opposite. First, I had to sign papers because we couldn’t take pictures. Seriously. I had to buy the dress in order for me to take a picture of it but then they give you a magazine with the dresses they sell in it. Next, I told the girl what my price range was because I’m wearing the dress once. I do not believe paying thousands of dollars on it. The look on her face was confusion as if it would be a challenge for her. Apparently my price range was not good enough. I tell her what I’m looking for and start trying on dresses. The first dress I did not like. I told her the lace was too vintage. I love my grandma but I do not want to wear her tablecloth. She then proceeds to still put me in dresses that looked like grandmas tablecloth because they looked “beachy.” I did find one I liked without vintage lace and with lots of beading. Another girl who was not even my consultant takes over and starts putting veils and tiaras on me. Yes, tiaras. I did not know I was in the Miss America pageant. The veils and headpieces were overpriced. They must have thought they had a dress sold because the owner came out and that was the only time they were being friendly. Her sales tactics were not very good because obviously I did not buy my dress from there.

I had the blue carpet appointment back in November. I tried on so many beautiful dresses in what seemed like every style possible. The last dress Jane pulled for me I fell in love with while it was on the hanger. From the time I got there to even after my wedding, Jane and JJ Kelly Bridal Salon made me feel like I was their only bride. They took such great care of me and their alterations made the dress fit like a glove! Ill be making sure my friends get their wedding dresses from here!

Truly disappointing!!! While we did have a good time at the shop picking out bridesmaid dresses, the events that followed are truly disappointing. The way they treated one of my bridesmaids was absolutely horrible and uncalled for, and demeaning. The little comments they insert in their contracts need to be revisited, and perhaps the whole staff should get some training on how to treat your customers. If I were able to cancel the orders I would. While the manager did apologize over the phone, there is really nothing that can repair the damage done.

I found a dress I would have bought, but Jane lost the sale. She was way too pushy, showed little interest in what we had to say, and rushed us through. She was quite rude to my sweet mother-in-law-to-be. They have a no-photo policy, which sucks because I wanted to send my mom photos. They also have a $100 discount club you can join, which gives you tiny discounts on... not much. It was a night and day experience from shopping at Bella Rose Bridal with Brittany. She was sweet and listened to our opinions, they own a jewelry store and offer 50% off the grooms ring with the purchase of a dress (plus many other discounts), and we felt comfortable. Ill probably end up going back. There are thousands of dresses out there. Im happy to buy one somewhere else. Edit: My mother-in-law-to-be just reminded me that when we walked in, they were bringing champagne to another group, but they never did offer any to us. Sure did make us feel unimportant.

This place is amazing! They have such a great selection of dresses and I worked with Natalie who made me feel like royalty. She was so friendly and really helped me find what was best for me. I found the most beautiful dress there that was perfect for my wedding.

My daughter and I had a wonderful experience here while shopping for her wedding gown. We made an appointment and, after talking with my daughter, Jane pulled some gowns for her to try on. Jane was very knowledgeable and extremely helpful and patient. We did go to one other place but the experience paled in comparison. We went straight back to JJ Kelly and bought the perfect gown and veil. From the beginning, we couldnt have asked for a better experience.

Let me start off with saying Im such a laid back easy going person. I never take the time to write reviews but felt like I needed to. I bought my dress from here but immediately regretted it. The sales people were pretty snooty and acted like I was wasting there time. I felt rushed and pressured as the sales woman repeatedly told me she had other appointments after me she needed to get ready for. I had made an online appointment weeks before so it was not like I just walked in. They were then very rude on my answering machine when my dress came in. But then a few days later nice again when I mentioned a bridesmaid dress I liked from there. I went to try on my dress when it came in and they acted like it was the end of the world and rushed me through it. The dress was way too big, and I had mentioned several times when we were ordering it that I thought it was the wrong size. I ended up selling it and buying a dress elsewhere because the alterations were going to cost as much as the dress. I think its they way of getting alteration business. Also the owner was very nice the day I bought my dress, he was way over the top nice, but then when I came back to try on my dress I didnt even get a hello or even a smile. There are a million other better places to buy a dress in OKC now, dont waste your time or money at this boutique.

I first encountered the bridal experience 11 years ago when my oldest daughter was to be married. JJ Kelley was our second stop. I knew they carried higher end bridal choices and so our expectations were such. After making an appointment, my daughters and I, her sister and the bridal party of 3 young ladies arrived only to be greeted with a look as if we had made a mistake, could not have intended to be in this store, and basically ignored until someone stepped up to reaffirm that indeed we had an appointment. We were asked about a budget, and when we said that it was between $3,000 and $4,000.00 we were immediately shown dresses on sale and below our budget. Now, remember this was 11 years ago, and I’m sure prices for gowns have increased, but we were treated as if we could not afford our price point. We took it upon ourselves to look around and look for a dress that suited my daughter taste and even that choice was met with a sigh. ‘This process was more than upsetting but determined this was going to be a “one stop shop all” we picked out dresses that were totally unexpected but beautiful for the bridesmaids.The experience was most upsetting to my daughters who worked in high end retail part-time while in college and so they totally mortified by the treatment by the staff. That being said, my husband and I returned to look for a dress for me and not surprisingly I too could only sense that I was not welcomed.So off to Dallas I went, found the perfect non-mother of the bride dress and the wedding at the History Museum went off as the caterers from Cheevers said “was the best wedding reception ever”,I only decided to write this review today. I have a friend who died suddenly last year and her daughter is engaged to be married and has asked that I help her with her wedding plans... down to helping her pick “her dress” for her special day. Guess where we will not go to pick a dress.... you guessed right.Honestly, I guess if you are not the right “pedigree” you don’t belong there. I am originally from California, and I can honestly say that I never encountered such disrespect while simply shopping. My hope is that the atmosphere or climate has changed. As the mother of the bride, I didnt like the fact that you couldnt take photos. Its difficult when youre trying to remember and show the bride what she looks like from all angles when you cant photograph her in a particular dress. We saw a beautiful gown there, but we cant compare in our minds without a photo because we looked at so many that day.

I said yes to the dress here this week end.I absolutely loved my experience here. As soon as I walked in the place everyone there was super nice to me. The owner stood there and talked to me while I filled out my info card. My sales girl Nathalie was so awesome. She pulled me aside at the start and talked to me about everything I wanted in a dress and we went through dresses I have pinned. I was little discouraged when I found out that everything was going to be out of my original budget but I told her I had a little wiggle room. She ended up finding the dress of my dreams in their sale room so it was only $150 over my budget! At the end of it all they gave us champagne and me a really pretty heart necklace for find my dream dress!

My review is a -0: On Oct.31,2018 my friend and I decided to go and look for wedding dresses for myself, we decided to go to JJ Kelly’s! I was given an information card to fill out and it asked me sooo many questions, I was told I had to fill out before I could look at any dresses. Jane was my sales person and she mentioned to us we can take pictures of the 2 dresses you absolutely love at the end and that she would have to go into the dressing room with me to try on the dresses we weren’t given a piece of paper with their policies and no other instructions were given to us as she was telling us she would look at both of us head to toe I got the vibe that she felt I couldn’t afford any of their dresses, from the beginning she was talking down to us, at this point I already felt like maybe it wasn’t a good idea to come into this please, as we are looking at the dresses she would make very strange rude remarks, I went ahead and picked out 2 dresses to try on, I tried the 1st one and my friend that was there said let me show you the back of the dress it has a pretty long train and she took of picture of it, well Jane got very, very upset and proceeded to tell us NO,NO pictures we have to follow the rules and the rules are I will take the pictures at the end we told her oh sorry we misunderstood you, she was very rude and not only that she continued to chastise us for not following the rules! As I am walking back into the dressing room she continues to tell me we have to follow the rules and she requested that I make sure my friend understand that as well! Both my friend and can understand and speak English I think it made her upset that we spoke Spanish from time to time therefore she said “Can you please make sure your friend understands no pictures” and I told her she understands English and she said “Oh good so I guess we can all 3 speak a language we can all understand”!! At that point she continued to get out of control with her comments, and I told her very politely that I didn’t want to try any more dresses and that I really didn’t appreciate the way she was treating us she said perfect no problem we have to follow the rules and as I was taking trying to take the dress off she stood outside by the dressing room leaving the door open and I said could you please shut the door so I can take the dress off she went ahead and came into the dressing room and watched me take off the dress, she continuously kept looking at both of us head to toe and escorted us all the way out the front door still chastising us about following the rules, I then requested her to please give me the name of the owner and to my surprise she said” I am the owner”!!! Wow I was at a loss for words and told her how disappointed I was and the only thing that came out of her mouth was we have to follow my rules. Ladies I recommend that you STAY AWAY from this place don’t waste your time and money at this boutique!

This place was awful. I made an appointment and told them my budget which was well within their average range that people normally spend. As soon as I got there they led me to the clearance rack which had nothing like what I was wanting. They went ahead and pulled some dresses and I tried a few on but all of them were way UNDER my budget. They made me feel like a cheap piece of trash to be honest. I do not know why I was not allowed to see there regular stock. Thank God I had another appointment at another store. I bought their most expensive dress and left feeling like a million bucks.From their website it looks like they want you to pay a fee to see all of their dresses in stock. Skip this place!!

I just purchased my gown here, and they were the best salon that I have been to. You will be forever impressed by their customer service and attention to detail. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, and will fit you for the perfect dress. This is the only place to shop in Oklahoma to find your bridal gown, everything else will be a let down compared to this experience.

The first time JJ Kelly came across my search for the perfect dress, I thought it would be an expensive boutique with dresses from famous designers and will be out of my price range. And yes, they have lots of beautiful gowns from designers. I never considered going to JJ Kelly but when Ive tried almost 20 dresses and nothing was capturing my heart, I decided to check out JJ Kelly. I am not regretting I did. LeNell is an excellent consultant, she picked dress within my price range, the style I was looking for, was very personable. She let me check all other wedding dresses and was a great help with her professional view. The whole experience was great! I found my perfect wedding gown at JJ Kelly! And cannot wait till my big day to wear it :)

Gorgeous dresses and fantastic staff! I found my dream dress here and I couldnt be more excited! Jane was knowledgable, pleasant and fun to work with. I went to a few different places to look at wedding dresses and I felt as if the staff were very smug, to say the least. The entire staff at JJ Kellys were welcoming and their dress and accessory selection was extensive and beautiful. I felt as though they actually cared and listened to my likes/ dislikes and helped me find my perfect dress!

They were very helpful, friendly and kind! Would definitely go back.

Walked in on a Saturday. At least 2 employees saw us and didn’t so much as acknowledge us. After 10 minutes of no one greeting us or even acknowledging our presence we left. Clearly poor customer service and I didn’t want to give them my business.

Leaving this review because Jane, the owner at JJ Kelly, went above & beyond to help me find the perfect dress!! I traveled out of town to go to here & try on a dress I had been eyeing for months that only available at pop up shows & they had one at JJ Kelly. I made an appt & requested the specific dress, but when we showed up she realized the dress hadnt been delivered with the rest of the collection. We were very disappointed at first, but Jane & the owner of the collection made a few calls & located the dress in a warehouse somewhere else - they had it overnighted & Jane opened the shop on her day off so we could come back to try it on!! They spent the rest of the appt helping me try other dresses they picked specifically for me. Jane let me know when the dress arrived, & when we came back 2 days later I fell in love! This is the DEFINITION of customer service. Jane & the designer made sure I was taken care of & I so appreciate them handling the situation so perfectly. Mistakes happen, but she sure did come through!! Thanks so much, Jane!! :)

I had to give a star to leave review but they dont deserve a star. My daughter and I drove from Amarillo to shop for her wedding dress today 7/15/19. We finished at our first appointment so we decided to come see this stores selections. STAY AWAY!!! The lady and gentleman working there are the most pompous, rudest, most condescending people we have EVER come across in public, or anywhere in all of my 53 years!! I am not sure who they believe they are but goodness there is no need to act so pompous. We were dressed nice, driving a lexus but obviously not good enough. We told them we werent too concerned with a budget. I have no idea how these people are allowed to be employed here. The owner seriously needs to train their employess on how to behave, or fire the 2 people working here today, because they are going to run off every customer.Update- I see the owner removed the rude reply.To the owners reply- You may want to read some of the other reviews regarding the way you treat people. It comes off as pompous and rude to most.

This place is the worst, outdated and slimy. There are so many great places to go that the workers will treat you with kindness and respect that I will gladly give my money to. Listen to alllll of the other 1 star reviews, they’re horrible!

While I didn’t end up buying my dress from JJ Kelly, I did want to share my experience there. I was probably a difficult customer as I am super indecisive and very meticulous. I first called and talked to Dani. I was fearful that I wouldn’t be able to fit in any gowns there, but she reassured me that it would be fine. She made me an appointment for that same day. I went alone because the whole experience seemed overwhelming for me. Dani was so sweet. She showed me practically every dress in the store and never forced me to try on a dress that I didn’t love. She also let me try on the same dress 4 times if I wanted. When my friend came toward the end of the appointment, she let us take pictures of my two favorite dresses. I fell in love with a dress there, but couldn’t make the decision to buy it.Dani was so accommodating. I called back the next day and made an appointment for the following Friday without a problem and brought back my friend and my mom. I know we were probably a pain to deal with, but no one in the store was ever rude or unaccomodating to us. Jane Kelly and the seamstress were both super polite and very helpful when measuring me and reassured me on how the dress would fit and what alterations would be done so it fit me perfectly.I made multiple phone calls with Dani about the dress after this They even offered to price match a dress from a trunk show out of state. I later came to the store to give my information so they could order the dress for me in a few weeks and Dani took the time to show me some veils and headpieces without an appointment. I was never rushed by anyone in the store and they were all so sweet. When I called them to tell them the heartbreaking news that I was no longer wanting to order the dress, I felt supremely guilty like I had wasted so much of their time but they were SO NICE about it. I just really couldn’t have had a more positive experience there and with the people who work there. I would definitely recommend anyone dress shopping to go there! You will not be dissappointed.

I called to find out if they carried a certain brand of bridesmaid dress and the sales associate was incredibly rude. The designers website listed them as a retailer but they did not list the designer on their website. She asked what dress I was looking for and I let her know I just had to pick one from that brand in a certain length and wanted to see a few options in a certain material. She was incredibly unhelpful when I asked to come in and said she wasnt available for an appointment and did not even attempt to find out who in the store may be available at the time I had asked to come in. I have never written a google review before, but was so offended by her less than friendly customer service that I will most certainly not be shopping here, even if it means not getting the bridesmaid dress I am searching for.

My mom, sister, and I could not have enjoyed our experience more and it is all thanks to Jane! I am not your typical girly bride-to-be so the whole dress shopping experience made me feel uncomfortable everywhere else we went. When we walked into JJ Kellys Bridal I instantly felt relaxed. Jane has a great eye and had me trying on dresses I never thought to pick out for myself but I loved them! Not only were all the dresses so beautiful but our experience was enjoyable, we were laughing the whole time! It was great shopping at a family owned business and Janes mom was an absolute sweetheart, she made us feel apart of the family! When I said yes to the dress they popped some champagne and we all tossed to a successful day:)

A friend and I went to JJ Kelly to try on wedding gowns for my wedding. The consultant was very rude and somewhat condescending. Her attitude only turned around when I liked the second gown that I had tried on. She gave me a strapless bra and told me to put it on, then huffed that she was sure that she could get it on me a lot faster ... which was confusing because she had instructed me to put it on and then call her. She started to try to connect with me later in the appointment but by that time I had already decided that I would DEFINITELY go elsewhere to purchase my gown.

First of all this place looks like an older thrift store. It hasnt been updated since the 80s or 90s. I didnt even really want to sit down on any of their couches to watch the bride-to-be come out because I wasnt sure when the last time they had been cleaned was. My first impression was theyre not going to have her dress in this crummy store. Well they had one she loved - and had the sales associate, Dorothy, not been the most rude used car salesman any of us have ever encountered - we probably would have purchased that dress, despite the gross store. But between the tacky store, her awful attitude, and their no photo until purchase policy - we ended up finding a nicer dress at a fraction of the cost at Davids Bridal. Might I also add, the sales associate that helped us there was wonderful. Save your time and money - skip this store on your search for your dress. You dont need them ruining your big day.

There is a reason JJ Kelly is the oldest and most trusted bridal store in OKC! From the minute we walked in the door we were welcomed and treated like guests. After they helped my daughter find the most perfect dress and veil, we celebrated with mimosas. Quay, their in house seamstress, is truly an artist with regard to alterations. Jane and her team made our one and only wedding dress experience an absolute dream come true! I would tell any future bride to make an appt with JJ Kelly!

As much as I loved walking in their boutique, its very very beautiful. I felt very overwhelmed. I couldnt touch anything, my consultant rushed me through trying on wedding dresses, she limited my options and kind of told me what i was looking for, instead of letting me browse and enjoy the appointment. She didnt want me to leave the dressing room if i wasnt completely in love with the dress, (I had brought my mom and maid of honor with me and i wanted their opinions on the dresses I was trying on.) She made me take off my strapless bra, and use one of theirs, and then when I was trying to change back out of it, she unhooked the back and just ripped it off me, leaving me bare-chested in the room with her, I was embarrassed and shocked, and then to top it off, she kept putting crowns and veils in my hair, and then when they got caught in my hair, she just pulled it out, and RIP to the many hairs that i lost that morning. Long Story Short, I will not be returning. I know my consultant was trying to be nice, but she wasnt exactly making my experience a good one.

This is the best wedding dress boutique I have ever been to in my life!!!! SUPER HELPFUL . came with a friend to look at dresses and we found the dress!!!!! When I get married this is the only place I will come to get my dress .

Owner of the place was very disrespectful towards my spanish speaking mother and her friend. The atmosphere when you first walked in you could tell was very negative by the first impression by the owner. We had walked into an area where you supposedly could not walk into, there was no sign stating you could not walk in and look. The owner used a very viscous way of asking them to speak english. i do not recommend you go to the bridal shop because of the horrible customer service and the racism the owner used. This place does not deserve a rate higher than 0.

We worked with Sharlah and Jane Kelly and both were wonderful and made sure we were happy with the dress and of course the dress looked amazing on my daughter. We drove from Tulsa to OKC to find the perfect dress and it was so worth the drive. Thanks ladies for everything!

This salon has employees thats think they are better than their customers. My sales associate was nice but still acted like I wasnt worth her time. The samples you try on are pretty old and tattered. I get that theyre samples but they should still represent what you plan on purchasing. They were disappointed in my budget, I guess that I had one. I didnt buy my dress here because they wouldnt show me the dresses I wanted to see or I just didnt see what I wanted. I am down to earth and dont flash my income by wearing trends and making my hair huge, so perhaps thats why they gave off the vibe there was no way I could afford to see something out of my budget. Idk....but I did buy my dress elsewhere and I think their dresses are WAY over priced. This is just my experience. Having read other reviews i see many people can relate to my perception of how their store represents itself. I cant help but wonder if theyll be around in another 30 years if this continues. I spoke to Dorothy on the phone and she is the sweetest and funniest lady. Thinking of going all the way to Oklahoma from San Diego just to get a wedding dress, and Im not even getting married.

Very horrible customer service. My fiancé went to try on wedding dresses today and an employee there by the name of Dorothy was extremely rude. My fiancé was considering having her dress made by a seamstress outside of that company but she wanted to try a specific style they had on to see how it fit her. When she mentioned this, Dorothy refused to let her try the dress on and was very rude. At that point Dorothy should have worked to sell her the dress and maybe even told her that having a seamstress do it was risky. After reading other reviews I see that this store is known for not being very nice to their customers. Go elsewhere if youre looking for even decent customer service.

They think that because they sell high end gowns they dont have to be nice. Well guess what? I had a $7,000 budget but refused to buy from them after their horrific service. Its a wonder that such rude people could be in business.

Ridiculous policy! I went in here today to browse in between clients. I was handed a information card to fill out. I put my name and phone number, but left the address blank. The sales woman told me I couldnt even LOOK at dresses without giving my address and all the other information (address, wedding place, mothers name, mothers cell phone, etc). I explained I personally do noy like giving out my address, but I would gladly give it if I purchased my dress there. They refused to show me anything or allow me to even look!!! Dumbest policy ever! You DO NOT need my address!!! If I was a domestiv violence survivor, had a stalker, or any other similar issues I would be putting my safety in jeopardy giving out my address to EVER wedding shop or store that asked for it. Its not like a drs office where your info is locked in a cabinet. When I came in No one was at the front and I could have easily walked behind the counter and stolen anyones address no problem!

I would rather give this place no stars. I planned an entire day for my sister-in-law-to-be to try on dresses at different boutiques. JJ Kelly is where my MIL and my SIL-to-bes mother both found their dresses 30 years ago. We had high hopes. From the second we walked in the door, it was the most awkward and awful dress shopping experience ever.My sister-in-law was unsure about how much she wanted to spend and she initially wrote down a really low number on her questionnaire. When she was worried about the low number, we assured her it was okay she could still try whatever dress she wanted on and decide if she wanted to spend more or not. Upon our assurances we were basically told that she should not try dresses on above her budget because theyve been doing this for thirty years and dont want her to be disappointed when she cant afford it. Maybe Im crazy, but as an adult I think its the brides choice to decide whether she can or cannot go out of her budget. Ive never heard of a sales person discouraging spending more on an item.For the duration of our visit, we were spoken down to, or not spoken to at all. When we asked the prices of dresses to write down for my sister in law we were either ignored, or the sales person was exasperated in telling us. The lady(who I found out later was the owner... sad) spent more time trying to upsell with accessories my SIL had no interest in than she spent listening to what my SIL wanted in a dress. The amount of times we heard about the 30 years the store had been open was much more that the zero amount of times we were offered any hospitality.We went to a few appointments that offered champagne during the boutique shopping experiences, which is a nice touch. I find to offer champagne only once a client has decided to buy the dress in front of other clients still shopping is tacky.I do not recommend this Bridal Salon at all. I think they have forgotten they are the ones selling the dresses. The 30 years experience doesnt make them better than their customers. I have been to Kleinfeld, Patsys and many other bridal salons and have never been treated so unworthy of a salespersons time. I have no doubt that JJ Kellys was once a wonderful place to buy a dress, but things have obviously changed. I hope our awful experience was a one time thing, but it was bad enough I wouldnt recommend it. I didnt initially want to leave a bad review but I dont want other brides to have bad experiences!The next one we went to in Edmond was pleasant, fun, relaxed, and hospitable not to mention the dresses were beautiful.
