I want to clarify that this review is from a regular homeowner point of view. Im not a contractor or landscaper. I just went to look for a stone to use as an edge of my flowerbed. I was able to walk around freely and look at all the different types of stone, boulders, pebbles, etc that they had on site. So thats a plus. Unfortunately for me, I dont know what all falls into the wall stone or decorative rock categories that are listed in their price list. I also dont know the name of the stone just by looking at it so I couldnt determine the pricing. There werent any labels other than numbers that may have designated what I was looking at. I happened to go on the weekend and it was VERY busy and parking is very limited. On a good note, I was able to get free samples of stones for my flowerbed. I still dont know how much they cost after deciding what I like.

Great! We were looking for a specific type of rock which they had. Also, liked all of the garden pots, need to go back when the patio is finished.

Love Minick. Great selection and reasonable prices. They delivered some rather large rocks for us and even took extra time to help us place them in our rock garden.

I had a wonderful experience at Minick Materials. The service was outstanding. The staff were extremely nice and way more helpful here than most places. I felt like I received the individual assistance I needed in order to make the best selections out of their wide variety of materials. I came in as newby to get gravel and rock for a landscape project, and the staff was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. I have since been back two other times to get additional materials. Great company and people!

Stopped in for some pots for my wife’s birthday. Bonnie and Anthony were incredibly helpful in selection and loading of my purchase. Service was top notch even though it was a busy Saturday morning. Excellent experience. We’ll be back for sure. Thanks!!

My husband went to the Council location and took a sample of the top soil he wanted to the front office. He also put his arm in the pile to check for moisture as we were going to have to move this pretty much by hand. Made sure the person in front office rang up the correct top soil NOT the top soil mix. First delivery truck came with a sandy soil mix that had a little bit of dirt in it. My husband sent it back since it was not what we ordered. Later in the day, second truck showed up with what the driver called top soil but it was so wet you couldnt tell what it was. Literally water ran out of the dump truck when it was dumped. Turned out it was another top soil mix NOT top soil, it had more dirt then the first mix but was nowhere near top soil. They had wet the mix down so heavily that I am sure we were short a minimum 1 ton of dirt (we ordered 10 ton). SO not only do they not deliver what you pay for, they are delivering short loads by wetting down the materials. My husband has been in the construction industry for many years (40+) and always respected Minick, but he will never purchase dirt from them again.Update 11/27/13Minick contacted us about the posting and offered to bring a load of brown dirt to us. We had already spread the dirt and did not need any more.

We had a fantastic experience with Minick on Council Road. They were so helpful when making the selections! Their delivery driver did a great job unloading the rocks at our home. We even went back a day later to purchase additional rock and mulch. Their set up for loading in our vehicle was smooth and easy! We cannot say enough good things about Minick Materials!,

Michael was extremely helpful and patient with my search for boulders. He assisted me with ideas and moving of pallets around to ensure I got exactly what I wanted. Sherry and the rest of the staff I spoke with were very nice and friendly. Overall a great experience and will definitely recommend and be back with any future needs.

Customer service is awesome at this location. Last visit a week ago was great our truck broke down and employees offered a helping hand and we got it running. This being our second visit has been great as well. Thanks to Sheri this visit for great customer support. Will be back in the future.

Great place to get what you need for the yard. Ive been buying all kinds of materials from them for years and Ive always had a great experience. Their staff is extremely friendly and will go out of the way to help you, especially if you are new to buying materials and are unsure of what you need.

We have dealt with Miniick for years. Our yard is nothing but Minick materials (sand, top soil, compost, stone, etc). The staff is easy to work with and has always been very helpful. The best in town!!

I am a landscaper in Oklahoma City (Camacho Land Design) and I purchase all my stone for landscape projects from Minick Materials. I am humbled and blown away by their commitment to fantastic customer service in all facets and I have nothing but great things to say about everyone I have encountered at all three locations. Purchased 1.5 tons of top of the line garden ready soil/compost mix, planted the entire bed two days later. Not one sprout came up. Planted again a few weeks later thinking I did something wrong, a few sprouts came up. (10 sprouts out of a 70 sq ft bed). Weeks later realized the only thing that can up was weeds. Out of the 200+ veggie seeds planted, I got a bed full of weeds.

Got a great price and if better help over the phone from Cherie, now i can finish my project with confidence

I live behind minick. Constant dust gets everywhere in every crack n crevice why they are allowed to operate a business like this close to a school and homes is beyond me . do you think they care ? Hah! Its lowered the homes value and given me sinus problems.They have ruined so many of our possessions
