At first we were excited about buying from Don Hickey but that came to a quick end.My husband bought a truck from Don Hickey several months ago. He only drove it for a couple days and the truck started acting up. He took it in and was told the engine was bad. So they told him he could select another truck. After having the 2nd truck for a couple days it started messing up as well. This one was the transmission. Took that truck back in. Finally got it back and once again something else was wrong. We were told they put the wrong part on the truck, so we took it back in again. So now as you can imagine our frustration.So now husband was laid off due to Covid19 and took initiative and went in to talk to them about our payments. They told him they can’t do anything but they would “work with him”.At first most seemed kind. But after all the issues with the vehicles they are not very kind anymore and actually harassing my husband. My husband was actually asked “Why are you so difficult to deal with?”First of all quit selling bad vehicles to customers!Second of all more than half the US is without jobs currently due to Covid19 so why do you feel you need to harass people?I have never in written a review but after all the Issues and harassment I felt it was necessary

They towed my vehicle for free and put in a new radiator free of charge. Not many small car dealerships will do that. You feel like part of their family when you come in. Super great people!!!

From the beginning Don Hickey has been in my corner. From a reasonably Low deposit to helping when I moved and called them to say I needed a few days (late) and they said no problem. They have never treated me anyway other than humane. From low deposit to low payments, low cost repairs when needed. I will continue to recommend Don Hickeys to others.

Just bought a 2004 scion xb from Don Hickey. It is an awesome car, and they are an awesome car lot. There were a couple things wrong with the car like the day I got it the back hatch handle broke due to a loose screw, and an air leak on the windshield let in water when i went through a carwash. They immediately fixed the hatch for me and resealed the windshield 100% free. They are an awesome business. They will treat you like you deserve when you become a part of the Don Hickey family.

They are dishonest. They claim that they have a finance company and make statements to the effect that the financing of vehicles is NOT in house but it is. The name of the finance company they claim to use is called Credit Now Finance Company. Located at 1520 N. MacArthur Blvd Oklahoma City, OK 73127. The exact same address and phone number as Don Hickey Used Cars. They use a man by the name of Danny Franks who claims to be a private investigator, but has no such credentials. He trespassed on my property inside my closed garage to put a tracking device on a vehicle to repossess it when I was 3 days away from paying off the remaining $2000 balance. He in addition stole my property from my vehicle. A radar detector, CDs, childrens DVDs to teach sign language used for my daughter who is partially deaf, a car seat, phone charger and other sentimental items that had no value. When I requested Josh assist me in recovering those items he attempted to do so by contacting Mr. Franks and requested that he return the items and Mr. Franks said I never should have gotten behind on my payment! That does not give anyone the right to steal your items from your vehicle. In addition, they put a tracking/payment device on the vehicles they sale. This device advises them of everywhere you go. In addition, if you do not make a payment on time (which could happen to anyone. We have no control over when hard times could fall upon a family) they shut your vehicle off. In the middle of the road, 2 hours from your home, outside your childs doctors office or anywhere else they feel like. You are not required to maintain the placement of this device. It is a violation of privacy and it violates your civil rights. If you do remove this device (which can be done easily) return it to them so that they are unable to charge you for the device. 5 years when I purchased my first of 3 vehicles from them I would have recommended them highly, however they have gone way down hill in their customer service, quality of their vehicles as well as the quality of macanic work they do on the vehicles, and most importantly their morals and ethics.
