Had to go back take my shoes and return one pair b/c they were not half off like they advertise. New clerk did not know this when I purchased them.

There was one helpful associate here during my visit. She asked if I needed any assistance. Unfortunately, when it came time to check out, all of the people who worked in that area were too occupied to perform their duty. One checked a customer out, which I was right behind in line, then proceeded to start performing bookkeeping and ignored my presence. There were a total of 4 members of staff in the check-out area (I was the only person standing in line to be checked out at this time) and a manager finally noticed I was standing there and had to physically tell one of them to do their job. Very unfortunate as it seemed like a nice store. if they had different employees then I might return but as of now I will not.

Staff is not very friendly and everything is overpriced.

No idea why I try this place time and time again... Maybe hoping for a different outcome? Teenagers run the floor and couldnt care less to help people but prefer to socialize. Shoes are overpriced and good luck finding anything. I would think with as many people who seem to be working at any given time they could at least keep the shelves organized. I worked retail in a busy store for years, its not hard to zone during open hours.

Great customer service fitting Chaco shoes on grand daughter. Darianna and another specialist took care to make sure shoes were right size and properly fitted. Shes happy. Im happy. However, I did find out there are few choices for folk with wide feet. Berkinstocks or none. I chose to keep my money.2018 update. Back here for more Chaco sandals for granddaughter. This year I found other sandals that fit me. OluKai sandals fit me perfectly. Great quality. Snagged some fun tees off the discounted racks. Woohoo!

MetroShoe Warehouse lost a patron today. My wife and I were profiled in the store today from the jump and were followed from the very moment that we entered the store until the time that I made my purchase. It was so extremely uncomfortable and we shouldnt have to deal with that. I and my wife make very good money and are upstanding citizens so to be treated like that was so hurtful. The employees name was Leah. Leah followed and stared at us the entire time. (I dont leave reviews, but I am doing so to prevent someone else from going through the same thing we did).

Great shoe selection. High prices, but it is what it is. They arent here to cater to cherry pickers. I love this place.

Went in looking for Birkenstocks and while they did not have the color in the size I wanted Madison was a great help and was able to order the ones I wanted online and have them shipped directly to my house at no extra charge. I have gone to the store in Norman and they have never offered that service to me when they didnt have what I wanted. The check out process was so quick and easy and the staff was so helpful. The store was clean, well organized and well lit. Very pleasant experience! I will go back when in the area or have a special shoe need.

Hounded the second we walk into the store. Same employee followed my wife and I up and down aisles. Being asked every 45 seconds if we’re finding everything okay is not good customer service, it’s intruding and unhelpful. Let your customers shop in peace.

I honestly seem to only buy all of my shoes from here. They have the best selection in town.. They have deals on buy one get one half off on certain brands... Right now the whole store is buy one get anything half off! Go shopping !! Sales staff is a little pushy but helpful.

I was in just this week and had a wonderful experience picking out shoes for my son. He is 20 months old with a big wide foot. Blake at Metro Shoe was super helpful. He helped us find exactly what we were looking for, but more then that he was gentle and patient with my son helping put on socks and try on at least 6 pairs of different shoe styles to find the right fit for my little one. Thank you Blake for the exceptional customer service.

Large selection of shoes. Prices are pretty high compared to what you can find online. Sometimes the customer greeting is overboard. I once counted 26 can I help yous in a 10 minute period. Maybe upper management was around, but I couldnt browse in peace.

Drove over to go to Tilly’s to find out they had closed down, stopped in here to have the WORST experience. I felt like I was constantly being watched and the associates, yes not one but TWO walking with me everywhere like I was stealing or something. I didn’t even want to buy anything out of here, but felt obligated since I walked and they felt the need to keep eyes on me at all times. They didn’t have hardly ANY 9s in Vans and not a large selection. Only good thing is they carry Capri Blue candles and BruMate coozies. I’d much rather order online thru somewhere else than EVERRRR step foot in this store again.

Went in this last weekend and got greeted by the cashiers and they seemed nice, store wasnt too terribly busy when I went in. Other than that the sales person just wanted to sell me the most expensive shoe and had no knowledge about it. Like why in the heck was this running shoe $60 more than the other and the little blonde girl told me Its a better shoe so of course its more. Like WTH?

First time in this store today. Right away, I had a gentleman help me. He was very nice and he helped me very well. I was very pleased with the customer service. The only problem I had was they were out of my shoe size in almost every shoe I picked up. But I am a 7 1/2 so I know thats a very common size but still. Other than that, its buy one get one half off certain shoe brands. Thats a pretty awesome deal. Ill come here again.

BEWARE! Do not purchase anything from this company through Amazon, they withheld money from my credit card without my knowledge. They stated it is on their website but if you order through Amazon why would you look at their website? You should inform people of any charges on their credit cards.

After visiting the store today it is very likely I will never go back. While shopping with my infant son, whom my mother and I had placed in a baby carrier for me to wear, it became apparent that we were being followed by a sales girl. After finally asking us if we needed any help, she continued to very obviously follow us around the store. We were made to feel as though we had done something wrong, even after my mother proceeded to pay for the item she had picked up. If you want to have a successful business, maybe you shouldnt insult your customers.

Nice to work with somebody that (1) knows their stock, (2) listens well & (3) has the ability to match what you need with whats available. You want Quality/Service. This is the place!

While it has a good stock and friendly employees, I would avoid shopping here if at all possible. I know they have fired at least one person for having a disability that required them to sit while working in the back room from time to time, without any attempt at providing other reasonable accommodation short of offering to cut their hours in half so they could have shorter shifts and not have to sit down at all. (Incidentally, that wouldnt have helped anyway.) The reason given was that sitting, even for a few minutes here and there while working, apparently prevented them from being fast-paced and efficient, despite the fact that they got things done no slower than anyone else whod been there a little over a month.So yeah. I would suggest finding another place to shop if you dont want to support a place that discriminates against people with disabilities.

Chase helped me and my grandmother out today. To walk into a store and have an employee sit on the floor with my 90 year old grandmother and help her stand up from her wheelchair and to help her with everything she needs is amazing. Chase was so great today.

Me And My family Went to this store for the first time today as were walking in this lady that worked there .she begin to follow us around like were trying to steal we had no bags our purses werent big at all and we didnt feel comfortable so we left. i wouldnt recommend this store for people to shop at if this is how they run their bussiness !

Was in the store today with my husband and 3 grown children. As we shopped my daughter and I started being followed by a sales girl. She asked if she could help us we told her no thank you. She continued to follow us. We went to the mens section where my son and his girlfriend were she followed us there and was joined by a male sales person. Every thing we looked at they followed. I dont know if they thought we had something in a purse or if we looked suscipious but no one said anything else to us. When I went to pay out the young lady walked past the register to give me a look and other people took up the watch behind us and as we left. I have no idea what was going on but I wont be back. I would have shown them my purse if they would have asked. It was one of my favorite stores to visit when I was in town but like I said I wont be back.

Fantastic selection of high quality clothing a shoes. It is pricey but you get what you pay for. Local brands made in the USA. Tons of cool stuff.

Mediocre customer service. When my brother and I were shopping, about 5 salespeople were wandering around trying their best to avoid us. There were barely any customers in the store. I noticed though that they kept giving small glances at my brother who is black from afar. It was uncomfortable. When it was time to check out, they were all hanging out at the cash registers being too busy with their conversation that they didnt notice us standing there until we said excuse us.

Horrible service and overpriced shoes

While the store has a lot of styles to choose from the staff are too eager. I could not enjoy my experience because the staff were standing at the end of the isle staring you down. Following you isle to isle and asking 100 times do you need help and 100 times I thanked him and said no. Then I went to check out and out of the blue, this certain staff that followed me everywhere showed up in my face again. After he harassed me through my entire shopping experience, he was the last person I wanted in my face at the register.

If I can give this a negative stars I would. I have bought THOUSANDS of dollars worth of stuff here and decided this last time to no longer shop at this place. The moment I walked in the sales people didnt greet me but looked at me and obviously was following me. After making a few selection I ASKED FOR HELP only for the sales person to RIP the items from my hands as he said I can take that and put them by the cash register FIRST OFF, I wasnt sure if I wanted all or had a chance to try one. SECONDLY, that was extremely rude and all of the sales people are unprofessional to continue to treat the shoppers like they havent been there before. $700 later I decided I didnt want to shop in a place that left my heart and experience so bad. Do not bite the hand that helps keep the business going. If you are reading this, I encourage you to shop anywhere else. The deals are not there and the experience wont be anything worth the $$ you pay.

They have a good selection of Chacos, Birkenstocks, Toms, and other good brands, but their prices are too high for me.

Bought my first pair of Chacos for an upcoming trip to DC. Had them on no more than 20-30 minutes and hated them. I was told by the salesperson the version with the tie strap was more secure. I trusted his opinion because I have never owned Chacos. Because I did not stay on carpet when I briefly wore them they would not let me return them even though they were for a very brief time. Assistant manager Aaron was terrible and would not even let me exchange them for shoes I could wear. Again these were on my feet for a total of 20-30 minutes. I will never shop here again! $135 down the drain for shoes I will never wear. I contacted corporate as well.

I have shopped at MetroShoe for years now and Ive always had a great experience. However, Ive never had to deal with their customer service until now. POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS SKILLS! And very unwilling to do the right thing for their customer. I will never return and neither will my friends or family!

I felt like I had walked onto a car lot or into a furniture store. The sales people are on you like white on rice. It is obvious they work on commission. I used to enjoy shopping here but the last few times it has been a miserable experience with the high pressure sales. I left the store and purchased 3 pairs of the exact same Birkenstocks I would have purchased at the store had I not been hounded my entire shopping trip. Sorry MetroShoe but you have lost my business!!

There arent that many people who can afford a pair of Jimmy Choo shoes. The rest of us have to go to a place thats a little down scale from that. This Shoe Warehouse has a very large selection of shoes, and if you cant find your size and style you want, either you are too picky, or you have elephants feet.

Store needs to get a better policy on staff. This is the only store where the staff annoys you so much you just want to leave. They can ask to help you out once, but after the guy came back twelve times its just a joke.

I have shopped at this store by myself as a white woman and had no stalkers thinking I was going to steal. Today I went in with my black husband and 10 year old and wanted to purchase 2 pairs of shoes one pair of hoka shoes that were 150. I never put both shoes on because I could feel the one gentleman watching me like a hawk even moving EVERYWHERE I moved. Im unfortunately used to the undercover shoppers when with my husband but this took it to a whole new level. Thank you for making my decision for me to go to a different store and get the shoes I wanted and they gave us military discount. My 19 year old loved the clothes at metro but I will definitely be christmas shopping for her elsewhere as well. I dont normally say anything as I dont want it to make my 10 year old feel uncomfortable but tonight was so bad SHE was the one that said why is that man staring at us and following us.

TERRIBLE! I was racially profiled the minute i walked inside the store, not a single sales associate greeted me, but enstead followed me around the whole store as if i were going to steal something . there was a sales associate hollering and screaming on the phone making infront of customers sitting at the front with another sales associate being highly obnoxious it was a bit unconfortable because every person in the store could hear his conversation.When it was time to check out, i decided to look around some more and when i looked up there were three sales associates including one Manager standing around me whispering As if i had stole something. I looked up and the tried to scram like nothing was going on needless to say there was no diversity in this work establishment which further more lets me they are racist. I will never return to this store ever and i dont recommend shopping here unless you want to get followed around . Only reason i made a purchase was because of a gift card i had. Not to mention they were so focused on the thought of me stealing they couldnt perform their jobs and left the sensor thing on one of my items! The name says metro shoe ware house but as soon as you walk in all you see is clothing which is a little misleading, there shoe selection was way in the back which they didnt have much to choose from with only two isles of actual shoes! This place sucks and the Employees are VERY VERY rude, neither are they knowledgeable to their own merchandise. Save your time and money .. your better off going to shoe carnival. This was my first and last time coming here! They just lost my business. I dont recommend this place to ANYONE.

Terrible customer service from both the customer service manager (Kori), and the owner (Jason). Unprofessional mannerisms. I was incorrectly charged shipping with my order, and they sent the incorrect size shoe. Both spoke in a rude, patronizing manner and refused to reimburse shipping. They wanted me to take on the full additional expense of shipping the return and pay additional shipping to resend the correct shoe ordered to fix their mistake. Dont patronage this business.

Very Unfriendly staff, to the point of being downright rude. I have shopped there for years and love their selection, but I will never go back due to the absurd attitude of their employees.

Horrible experience. Theres about 50 or so high school kids on staff at any given time and theyre all very pushy, asking if you need help every other second because theyre working on commission. A few times, ok, but 20+ times per visit is unnecessary. Its a very busy and overwhelming environment, too. Not only is there way too much merchandise in the store, but all the kid associates are running around pulling online orders because theres not an actual warehouse. Save yourself the trouble and just shop elsewhere.

Everything is great until you have to return something! I have shopped here for years and had a horrible customer experience after Christmas.I went to return a pair of headphones that was in the box (because my son had already received the same Thunder headphones as a gift) and still had the tag on them but I did not have the receipt in the bag. They have a record of all transactions in their in their computer system and so they looked up my name to see when the item was purchased and could validate the purchase but they would not refund my money. They refused to do the right thing and were very rude. When I called the customer service number, it was not working or perhaps flooded with other calls. There is a reason for all the harsh reviews for customer service! It is unfortunate because they have good merchandise. This company should make some changes and learn to do the right thing!

I have no idea why people are being so harsh regarding customer service -- from the 1st day I visited, Ive had AMAZING service & help. I try to shop solely at this place for shoes & OU/Thunder gear! Out of the countless times Ive gone, I only had one time where I was annoyed by an employee. She wasnt even helping us, & she walked past & counteracted my opinion on my husbands shoes. I was quick to put her in her place, & its never happened again. You have to be assertive, guys. LOTS of people shop there because they NEED advice, so these workers are trained for that & happy to help. When, however, you dont want their opinion - feel free to grow a spine & say so. I have the most wonderful conversations & help from their very friendly, helpful, fun staff every time I visit. 95% of them are great at reading people & moods -- help when I want help, privacy when I dont want to be bothered while shopping.I shop here for 3 reasons: GREAT selection of unique & cool attire/shoes, AMAZING prices (thanks to the card stamp -- I got 50% off UGG boots on my 10th purchase... $100 tall UGGs?? Good deal to me!), & the awesome staff. I think the prior reviewers have given this place maybe one visit... Ive been going there regularly for years! Go in without insecurities of judgement & youll love the place.
