I have been seeing Dr. Phillips for almost 20 years. He is amazing. Knowledgeable, friendly and explains things in easy to understand language. And he is so funny! The staff is very friendly and helpful. While there is a sales department that encourages you to purchase from them, they are not pushy and if you ask for your prescription, they gladly give it to you. The past two years I have purchased my lenses from them and the service has been great. Ready when they say they will be and excellent service. Two thumbs up!

I never write reviews, but my service was above and beyond and deserves recognition. Best experience I have had as a healthcare patient/customer in a long time. My baby scratched my cornea with her fingernail and I was in a lot of pain. Every member of the staff I dealt with including the person who took my initial phone call to make my appointment, the receptionist, the nurse, Dr. Phillips, and the billing lady were all very polite, kind, helpful, and extremely competent. Dr. Phillips took great care of me and got me fixed up and feeling better right away. I am very happy with my experience and the service I received. I will be recommending Oklahoma City Vision and Dr. Phillips to everyone I know who has a need.

Dont go here, ultimately they just try to convince you to buy their tacky overpriced glasses. Additionally theyll automatically schedule your next appointment, then they give no option to cancel said appointment via text or online - theyll force you to call. And when they charge you the cancellation / no show fee - conveniently they give you the option to pay online. How neat is that! Save your money - go somewhere that doesnt use sketchy practices to get every last dollar out of you.

I just wanted to share my experience.I am so pleased with the quality of care my grandchild gets from the time we arrive until we leave . This place is the best ! They are so professional and kind you can tell they really care. I was impressed the most by Jordan he treated my grandchild like she was the only person there he went above and beyond. I am so thankful there are still individuals like Jordan that really care and do all the little things that really matter.He probably doesn’t even know how much this means to us ... so thank you to Jordan and all the staff for being great ... Very friendly staff. Although they seemed very busy, there was not a long wait. Shai made me feel very comfortable and Dr. Pitts was very efficient and effective in treating me. Overall good experience!

Always fine when I go in once a year, however I have tried for the last week to call them to access my eye glasses prescription with no success. I have emailed once with no reply and called and left a voicemail twice with no response. Just today I have called them 5 different times and have yet to get anyone to answer the phone. They say they replay to messages within one business day, that has not been true in my case. It shouldn’t take much effort to give me my medical records.

After having the pleasure of getting a wonderful & thorough eye exam by Dr. Scott Forester, I was assisted by a pleasant lady named Nancy B. who helped me through the eyeglass/frame & fitting process. I was very impressed by how she quickly learnt what it was I was seeking for in a pair of eyeglass frames! She absolutely did everything she could to help me find the best frames & fit that suited my style. Not only was she helpful, but she was skilled and patient. I walked out very satisfied with my eyeglass selection and entire experience. When you are ready to start the eyeglass/frame selection process, be sure to ask for Nancy B. Highly recommended!!

I loved the place for a while but my most recent visit in May left me with ill fitting glasses that tilt and one ear piece is longer than the other. I sent them back 3 times and they never fixed it. Ill be going to a different location from now on because they made them worse each time. And this time Im taking them somewhere else to hopefully get them fixed or Ill have to order new ones which will cost again.

Im going elsewhere for my vision care in the future. The problems started with the wrong prescription on my glasses. My initial visit was in May and Im still waiting on my glasses in August.

Thank you to sweet Cherie for helping me with my contacts! She gave me a free trail so I could work without my glasses fogging up while wearing a mask. Also, I appreciate the help of educating me about my insurance and getting the best deal. My contacts I ordered were shipped to my door super fast!

Sign up for 1 year vip plan, paid for the one year. Then got automatically charged for another year after my first year ended. They never said it was automatic renewal. Otherwise service was good.

My first visit here, waiting time basically none. I have never had in all my ___ years such a through exam. Dr. Pitts is fantastic, he explained every step and all the information about the picture of my eye. He listened very carefully to my needs, which were not just the everyday glasses, but my occupational glasses. I will certainly use them from now on !!! Kathy

My annual eye exam was today. Promptly brought me back at appointed time, puff puff, flash flash, cover eye cover eye. Out in 20 minutes with very thorough exam. Dr. Forester has been my eye care guy for years. Cannot say enough great things about the Dr. and all the staff.

Everyone was fantastic here! I had prompt service and you could tell everyone was extremely knowledgeable. When it came to looking at frames, both Amber and Dr. Phillips were extremely helpful in helping me find the perfect pair! Fantastic service and I look forward to visiting this location again.

I will admit I didnt even go here. I called and left several messages but they dont answer the phone during business hours and dont call you back. Interesting business model.

Totally ripped me off and conned me into buying drops and tests that I didnt need. Almost $2000 later, nothing. My eyes are the same as they were. Better actually! I stopped using their fancy drops and they got better!!!! I hate this place

The worst experience with any eye provider I have ever had. If you want to be talked down to and belittled then this is your place. There is absolutely NO customer service skills! I even left an appointment in tears! But don’t worry they seem to be servicing the prison population quite well. Don’t be surprised when you come in and see orange jumpsuits and shacked prisoners getting their annual check ups. They probably receive better customer service then the paying customers!

My husband and I had a great experience here with all the staff. The front desk was welcomkng a quick, the techs were nice and got our pre testing done quickly. Dr Forrester is knowledgeable, and helped answer many questions. He has a good sense of humor and played off of my husband and me as well. When we picked our glasses, it was easy. I cant wait to pick my glasses up! Keep up the good work!

My experience at Vision Source has been the most outstanding eye exam I have ever had. The staff is professional and have always made me feel special. It is great to have Dr. Forester sit down and actually discuss my exam, explain the photos of my eyes and answer my questions. And he is never rushed! I would never entertain the thought of having anyone else provide my eye care because I know I have the BEST at Vision Source.And I love receiving information and reminders by Email and text messages.

Dr. Pitt is great. The group is well run and very organized. They have made many investments in newer and more efficient testing equipment lately which made the process very quick and simple. Would recommend to all VSP clients.

Went to Vision Source to see if anything could be done about my glasses frames, which I had broken. The break was non-repairable so I needed to have new frames. Lily, one of the workers, immediately went to work solving my problem and I left within 45 minutes with new frames. Extremely pleased!

I am new to Oklahoma City and needed my annual eye exam. I Googled optometrists and chose Oklahoma Vision Source because of location and generally good reviews.The eye exam and ordering new glasses and frames went well. After that it went down hill quickly. About 8 days after ordering my glasses I received a call to tell me that my glasses had come in but they were sent back to the lab because there were errors on the lenses. It was annoying, but mistakes happen. I explained that I would be leaving town for a business trip at the end of the week and would be gone for 2 weeks. I was told that it should not be a problem getting my glasses before my trip. The new glasses did not arrive for 10 days long after I had left town. I get another call and I am once again told my lenses had to be sent back to lab due to errors. My prescription is not a complicated one or difficult to make. After another week I get another call to tell me my glasses are ready to be picked up. By this time I have returned and left again on another trip. Another week later Im back and go in to get my glasses, Im asked my name by one of the technicians and she goes to the back presumably to get my glasses. After about 10 minutes she comes back and asks for my old glasses so they can put in the new lenses. I tell her I purchased new frames also. She returned to the back and after about 15 minutes comes back to tell me my new frames were left at the lab and they dont have them. If I can wait 30 minutes they will get the frames. An hour and a half later the supervisor comes out and hands me my glasses and says let me get you something to read. I put the glasses on and read the card and tell him they are good. He made no offer to check or adjust the fit until I told him they were too loose. They were about ready to send me away again when I ask for the case that should accompany the new frames. They never apologized or offered any thing to make up for the inconvenience they caused me and tried to excuse the problems because they were just so busy.I will not be back nor would I recommend them to anyone.

Dr. Phillips always exceeds expectations when it comes to patient care. It always feels like you are part of the family when you come in for your appointment. I have been a patient now for almost 5 years and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. If you are looking for an excellent eye doctor, go see Dr Phillips and his team at Vison Source. You will be glad you did!

For 18-20 years, I have been a patient of Scott Foresters. He is a good man and is very talented and professional. I would not think of going elsewhere even if my insurance was not accepted by Vision Source. I have also met Trent Pitt, a very personable and efficient and knowledgeable young man. I have not had the privilege to meet Dr. Phillips but I hear good things about him. The rest of the staff is so friendly and helpful. They explain what they are doing and why and they are so considerate of ones concerns and problems. The optical people are as friendly and helpful and are not at all pushy about making a sale. I feel very comfortable at OKC Vision Source and have no problem recommending them. If the eye issue is one that is not in their expertise, they are not hesitant to say so and have always had excellent referrals available.

I arrived at precisely my appointment time, waited less than 5 minutes, and was called to begin my thorough annual exam. Some new equipment was a bit balky, but not much of a disruption, and the technician was able to quickly finish the preliminaries. In the exam room all went very smoothly and pleasantly, as I have come to expect from the staff. When Dr. Forester arrives to do his magic we always have to begin with a discussion of our Sooners and OKC Thunder, then to a very fast and effective acuity check, along with eye health evaluations. Since Im a diabetic, his focus on this aspect, and his forwarding of the results to my primary care physician are very much appreciated. No need to ever go anywhere else!

My glasses broke at the nose piece and had no where to go so I stopped at vision source and a young lady came out to my Vehicle and got my glasses took them in fixed them and returned them back at no charge..Love the friendly worker there...Thank you Cathy

Dr. Forester and his office are, hands-down, the best Ive ever experienced or even heard of. Ive been going to him for 7 years and look forward to each visit. From start to finish the best words to describe them are skilled and kind. Dr. Forester not only knows his profession well, but he interacts with people excellently. I simply cannot say enough good about his office!

Dr. Forester is always friendly. He explains the activity within my eyes thoroughly; and, gives the sense that he really cares about MY eye health. The staff are all professional, yet pleasant. I think anyone would be comfortable visiting Vision Source.

They have a retinal imaging system that allows me to not have to have dilating drops put in my eyes which allows me to go to my appointments without a designated driver (costs an extra $30) and it gets me a great picture of my retina that can be compared against each year.Dr. Forrester always explains everything in an easy to understand way. He always listens to all my questions and answers them. Hes always great at explaining what is going on even without me having to ask him questions. Hell go as in-depth as you want him to. I changed to him a few years ago because he actually informs me about what is going on with my eyesight.

Dr. Pitt was great, but the staff at the optical shop were not very welcoming. Apparently our 5 year old was being disruptive because he was quietly watching cartoons on my phone while he waited for us to pick a pair of glasses. One of the ladies there (Lily) definitely made it obvious that she was annoyed by children and made us feel very unwelcomed. On top of that they broke my sunglasses! I asked if they would tighten them for me, and instead they broke them. We are very disappointed and not sure if we will return.

Dr. Pitts is a real cool dude. He goes through and explains each test/finding using English, not Dr-ese. The staff are very cheerful, greeting you with a smile. I would have to rate them as top-of-the-class in the city. If you need vision services you can not do better.

I very much like the selection of eyewear frames they have at this store. There are a lot of styles and I had a difficult time choosing.They worked very professionally with me to work out every issue with my insurance company. I could not have done it without their help.I am glad I chose this location rather than one of the chain stores.

This place lied to me over the phone and told me they take my insurance, so I set up an appointment. I go to my appointment and hand them my insurance card before the appointment and no one says ANYTHING about the fact that they dont actually take it. I go through the whole check-up and go to order contacts and they give me a $500 bill. 200 something for the appointment. They literally let me go through the entire appointment before they told me they dont take my insurance. No break, no apology.. nothing. I didnt even know this was a thing. This is enough to make someone mad, when they pay for something they didnt get to use.But this wasnt the tipping point. When a customer, that you have wrongfully done, calls and asks to place an order of contacts because their glasses broke and they are out of contacts (and their prescription is -4.5).... you do not let that customer go BLIND up until they find a new Dr. because their prescription is less than a month over-due.That $200 visit shouldnt have an expiration seeing as I should have not paid for it in the first place. The people who have rated this 5 star have probably never been anywhere else.

I have been going to Dr, Forester since my college days and I have never had a doubt in my mind that I wasnt receiving the best eye care in OKC. I highly recommend going here to everyone I know.

I am been going to Dr. Forrester for over 10 years and as he has expanded the service has declined. My most recent experience was yesterday taking my daughter. My appointment was at 11:30 -- arrived at 11:20. We were called back at 11:50 and doctor FINALLY came in at 12:25! I went on my lunch hour for a reason. WHO has 2 hours to go to the doctor. It is worse than a Physicians office??? With a response of I will look into that.This is the third time (visit). The first was my own appointment and again the same response hmmmm, I will look into that. My most recent visit in January, I had to wait so long I received a courtesy credit. I dont want credit, I want my time respected.Additionally, they have been working on their wifi. Yep, in 2017 and NO wifi for over 2 years. This would help to eliminate the frustration while you spend your day there. With the amount of customers you are seeing, can you not take some of our money and improve your infrastructure? Even McDonalds has wifi......come on!As they have gotten bigger in their practice, they are more about how many patients can they cram into a day, with little respect for others time.Now, I will say the gentleman in the optical area was great with my daughter. Initially, she didnt find anything. He came over and asked what we were looking for and was an instrumental help and took his time with helping us with price, explanation of benefits etc....Then there is Tresa in the contact lens area who has always been amazing over the years. Kind and very helpful and just a lovely person.Again, after 10 plus years and several of the same experiences of long waits I am going to seek other options. Who in their right mind can spend 2 hours at an eye doctor. I bet they wouldnt if they were the customer.

I drive 40 minutes to come here. Will never go anywhere else.

Too much to type in one sitting about the VIP plan. Not a good experience at all. I dont need the plan anymore now that I have vision insurance. I hope you dont treat all your disabled veterans in this manner.

The staff wasnt the nicest when I asked if there was a problem with my glasses if I could return them it was basically No. They were not helpful in fitting my glasses and of course the frame I purchased was to small. So I have a pair off glasses I cannot wear. I will not ever go back to this location nor will I recommend them to anyone.
