Very poor customer service. We asked for a price adjustment and they said we had to bring back the original item which was not opened and we would have to purchase a new one. Then when I was about to purchase a new one and return that one with the original receipt they said I was not allowed. The cashier told us we should feel lucky we could return the original unopened item. Store number 898 in Columbus Ohio
Why does Hobby Lobby allow pets in their stores? I don’t mean service dogs, I mean pets. There are those that are allergic to animals or just plain scared of dogs. A craft store is no place for pets. I can read the headlines now concerning the first “pet” related incident. Bad decision!

75% of the marked price does not mean 75% of the original price thats just so happens to be on the back of the item. This is deceiving, you have a marked price that already includes the 75% off. The sign/advertising all over the store leads you to believe differently unless you read the small fine print -be honest about it instead of trying to deceive people. I would have still bought the items if the manager would have shown a slight bit of empathy or interest in my suggesting the advertisement should reflect original tickets prices vs. marked price. Instead she was dismissive and walking away before our conversation was over.
Poor customer service. Charged my card twice. Didn’t get half my packages.it’s been two months and I’m still fighting to get what I paid for. However the one I did get was damaged. When I called and talked to the lady. To tell her I only got half my items. She tried to say I have to send back the ones I did get. Because I didn’t pay for it. However I have two charges from them. She kept putting me on hold. And still proceeded to tell me I need to send them back and pay for them again. When it was there mistake not mine.
This place is horrible!!! They can careless abt anyone as long as you do your job and show up everyday.. thats all that matters.. managers and leads just walk around all day to see if your making production (numbers and speed is all they care about) and people are rude esp the LEADS and manager.. they look down at you like your nobody, pretty much feels like high school. Even the ones thats been there for a long time, they just think its ok to be RUDE like ppl have no feelings because theyre new. Also HR (Rosemary)cant even do simple job as to respond to any calls, voicemails or even emails. I swear the only person who was kind is the lady at the receptionist for the fabric rolling dept. and my trainer... Not the type of company id represent for or even shop at their stores knowing the kind of people who work behind it.

I have never been into arts and crafts,well I had to find a hobby. I started decorating shoes with the Swarovski crystals. I go to my local store in Kissimmee/St.Cloud Florida a couple times a week with my husband. We have been spending a crazy amount of money the past few weeks. We went today and were treated horrible. The manager was the RUDEST person I have ever met, the employees were following us around the store. I work very hard to be able to spend the money I spend at this store. I will continue to do so, 100% without a doubt will be finding a new store.
Denied my sister of a job 2 years ago because she wasnt christan. Heard about ur Supreme Court case Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores and the deciding judge was Christian. Well I live in Toledo Ohio and a full time model builder so iam at the 2 hobby lobby stores all the time and i have never ever ever had any problems with anyone the stores are always very clean and well stocked our the employees are very friendly and well trained and the managers are very friendly and helpful. Never ever had any problems with anyone. The only thing I would like to see is bigger line of models and models supplies a higher end models .I would love to see weathering products and Tamiya paint and Mr colors paint the hobby stores are just about finished this is a time for hobby lobby to step up and get us better kits the money maker are the military models in 1/35 scale .keep up the excellent work
Your choice for not supporting coupons anymore comes with a price. And that price is lack of customers. Your choice of discounting certain items is a farce, especially when you can find them with and without a coupon in other stores and other places cheaper. People are not that ignorant, in our opinion you’re just trying to make more money. A good example is I ended up spending $39 at Hobby Lobby for a compass, graphic paper, and some rulers, none of which was discounted. After I returned to my car, I realized that I had been ripped off and cheated. Because I went to Office Depot and found the same graphic paper for $4 dollars less, and without a coupon. Then I went to Michael’s and found a compass and rulers, with a 20% off coupon, and spent only $17 on name brand. Grand total of amount spent was $23. Point is I ended up returning what I spent at Hobby Lobby to them for a refund that same day, because they clearly ripped me off by over charging. We won’t be coming back.
I took a picture to be framed o3/24/2921 for college Graduation picture for May 7 at Kannapolis NC store Sarah from there called me 04/07 to explain that one mat I ordered was not going to work but she had another one she could use and would be ready by 04/21.I called today and guess what? Frame manager said it’s not done we left u a message about the mat I said I have already spoken to u about that and you told me April 21 She acted as if she didn’t know Now I don’t have my picture and I am very disappointed in Hobby Lobby I will never use this store again You should hire better qualified employees that can at least tell the truth

While the products at Hobby Lobby are nice and they have great variety, there are many reasons why I wont shop there.The least of them being the prices, which are far higher than their competition.Their attitudes towards LGBTQ, Women, and people who are not their brand of Christianity are constantly being displayed as beyond terrible. The owners, board, etc. are what Im speaking about.The fact that they disregard their Constitution in their desires to force their religious views on everyone is disgusting. Taking out full page ads to push for America to become a Theocracy is UNACCEPTABLE.In the First Amendment, it is said that Congress shall pass no law to establish a religion. America was founded by people escaping religious persecution. Our very Founding Fathers were, for the most part, deists...not Christians. And they had a lot to say about how religion should not be mixed with government.The fact that they would throw away that Freedom of Religion, make people outcasts in their own country because they do not worship the way they do...is not something I would ever wish to support.They give a BAD name to Christianity, and I will not give a penny of my money to them ever again.And I encourage others who value REAL American values to think twice before they put money down on such an UNAMERICAN and BIGOTED company.There are many great options. While making a return, I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with a manager named Joe, in store # 354 in Knoxville, TN, as well as a employee in the fabric department, named Alexis. Joe was condescending and allowed his employee, Alexis, to yell sarcastic comments to me, as well as laughing about the incident, without addressing her attitude/behavior.Unfortunately, this is not the first time that I have had this experience with Hobby Lobby management/employees.Its unfortunate that apparently Hobby Lobby doesnt appreciate their customers and allows these types of interactions to continue. I will NOT be spending any additional money at Hobby Lobby and will make my craft/home decor purchases at other companies from this point on.
I purchased a mirror from my local Hobby Lobby store and had taken the decorative hardware off to stain it. My husband, not knowing what it was, threw the hardware away, but Anna from the corporate office came to my rescue and was able to locate the hardware for me. I am so beyond grateful for her help!! Absolutely fantastic customer service!!
They are very versed in stereotypes.They judge in the color of your skin and follow you in store stand at register while being rung out. I shouldnt have to spend same money and be treated like this. They are a faith based store they should act like one disgusted is all I can be with them.
Ive been shopping with Hobby Lobby for years and have always find quality products and great customer service. The customer service and quality of the product and store arrangement keeps me coming back Here is what I do have a very strong issue towards, for the many years that Ive been shopping with you all your primary discount coupons is and has been only 40% off of 1 item only, especially flowers. Yes that are 50% off but again its always limited towards 1 or two items. I truly believe your establishment can do far better and Id like to see this done. I pray this is taken seriously into consideration.

We wont ever return here. We had an issue with the store manager at our local store who didnt know how to treat his customers and called the corporate office. Left a message with our callback number and they never bothered. So weve been shopping elsewhere ever since.Also, they dropped the coupon and dont respect womens choices among other things.

I love Hobby Lobby but I am giving less stars because of their policy of no longer giving 40% coupons! I almost always use a coupon when I shop there but I guess I wont be a costumer as often. Michaels and Joann fabrics still take coupons so I guess I will shop there more often
I have been shopping at hobby lobby for over 20 years. For a company that claims they are based on Christian values, they are highly lacking in this area. The managers stand around while lines back up. They are rude, unkind and never smile, unless they are talking about a customer ( which I experienced first hand). Most of their inventory is grosely overpriced and poor quality. They stopped the 40% off coupon and overall just deplorable. I will drive 35 minutes to Micheals before I shop there anymore. Sign left up apparently from previous ad Which I didn’t know until I was mistreated and embarrassed at the register by the cashier and by the customer service manager who kept telling me here’s our new ad..they are not on sale but signs were up the whole aisle never have I been so embarrassed and never once did either apologize for “ Their error” I will never shop there again it starts at the top and if the CSM is rude and does t care about the customer there’s your sign!! I always viewed hobby lobby as family oriented how wrong I was!
My experience was anything but nice. Unless you like being treated as if you dont matter and your money is not yours but rightfully belongs to HOBBY LOBBY. The young employees act as if they hate you when you have a complaint. They first stare at you as if you spoke an alien language. They get really nasty in how they treat you if you point out a problem that is clearly of their doing. Or neglect. Yes HOBBY LOBBY has gotten the last penny theyll ever get from me.
This is my favorite store !! Today I went to the store located in Albertville today to buy some furniture items and I get to the register and the bench I was purchasing had no price. Already knew this wasn’t a problem for me . They call manager wait wait wait finally two of them come to front say oh yes we can get one just a minute . Wait wait wait wait wait they are having a conversation with another guy who wasn’t in line and wasn’t called to the front to help and finally the girls say we can just cancel your transaction and you can wait he is helping a customer I said excuse me I don’t want to cancel my transition I can wait . There are 2 managers and 2 employees standing with this other customer and no one will help me . Finally I tell them just to forget it and that was very rude . So disappointed in this store and management

The framing Dept in the Paducah KY store is very unprofessional. They had no guidance at all and not being a professional my self I just tried to figure out what would look best for the mat and instead of informing me or giving me some guidance they overcharged and did a shotty job. Over priced and disappointed!!
I purchased a display Christmas tree due to the fact the yellow tag said there were no more left and display tree for sale on several trees. See attached. I took the tag...paid for it (per the instructions)..cashier told me to wait while they assisted with the tree for me. I waited by the tree and no one ever came. My boyfriend showed up to help me and he took it apart and we proceeded to leave. I waived my receipt in the air and left. 5 seconds later, we were being chased by a women employee in RUDE tone telling us we COULD NOT TAKE THE DISPLAY!. I told her to look at the sign and she still insisted the display was not for sale. To my better judgment, I kept my mouth shut and my boyfriend kindly brought the tree back in, set it BACK ON THE DISPLAY ISLE and we took the tree (same one) in a box that the employee had at the front of store. Why would the sign say This tree is sold out if it wasnt??? We proceeded to leave and the employee yelled out at the cashier, GOOD CATCH! I WAS HUMILIATED AS IF I STOLE THE TREE. I didnt complain then but Im complaining now and WILL be going back today to speak with the store manager. This store is in Lewisville TX off of I35/Round Grove. I hope this person gets a good talking to. NO ONE should be treated like this!!!
Stopped at California, MD retail store to shop for strung beads. My wife found the one she wanted and wasnt onsale, but we were going to use the HobbyLobby cell phone app, but we were informed at the cash register that the coupon had been discontinued. Needless say we did not purchase the beads and will not shop at Hobby Lobby again. Not only dont they accept their own discount; they wont give a Veteran discount. Michaels has better selection and Customer Service.

I have been shopping online with Hobby Lobby for the past 2 years with no problems. I love their products. Recently I had an issue with a damaged order which upon delivery from FedEx, I refused to accept. The package arrived open, packing slip missing, and 15 out of 18 skeins of yarn, missing.. I tried to call Hobby Lobby the same day that I refused delivery to let them know what happened, but they were only taking e-mail correspondence for some reason. It took them 3 weeks, several frustrating emails, and much confusion to issue the full credit, due to the fact that they only allowed e-mail correspondence, and their response time was ridiculously slow. If I could have actually spoken to someone to explain, it could have been resolved the very same day! Now suddenly my Hobby Lobby account is flagged for fraud and I cannot place an order until their credit department does a review-and there is no guarantee that Ill be able to place another order. (I even gave them an additional credit card to try and it was ALSO flagged, so now I know something is fishy...They are flagging MY NAME, not my card). I called their corporate office to lodge a complaint and the response is they will contact their e-commerce department (the same department that I talked to before I called corporate). Hobby Lobby is a good company as long as you dont have any problems with online orders or a complaint....Its been very disappointing, and as I said, I do love their products, but with what I have recently experienced, their online customer service is terrible..Email is NOT the correct forum for customer service issues, unless they can get back to you THE SAME DAY....
They could do more for the employees. Amazon puts them to shame on how much they help.

I went into the store and they never removed the 50% sale coupons for the wall art. After spending an hour shopping for sizes, shapes, and colors to match my house the manager refused to honor the sale pricing and I left the store with nothing but frustration. For a “Christian” based organization, I was thoroughly disappointed in their attitude today. I simply went in to ask if they were hiring for holiday season and she rudely said “no, we’re done hiring” .. it’s fine that they are at full capacity for employees but could have been so much nicer. I can only imagine how customer service must be.

We order shirts online since the store is closed for a teacher appreciation project. When we received the order we were shorted a shirt. Our local store opened finally and decided to go in to pick up the missing shirt. I was then told that they had nothing to do with online orders and they couldn’t help me. I sent two emails to the company and have had no response. I called the company and no one is answering calls at this time. This is stealing! I paid for the shirt and want my money back or the shirt expedited since teacher appreciation is next week. I don’t recommend anyone order online from this company. Their customer service is the worst yet!!

I was buying some items in the loop store in Kissimmee, Fl and they said they had a 50% discount and when they charged me, they billed me at the regular price, I immediately told (Shannon) the cashier who had just charged me that these two items were on a discount, She told me, Im sorry, I cant help you, go to box 1, and without any need I had to wait 20 minutes in line to get my money back, thats ridiculous!

Hobby Lobby lost are business, shopped there all the time til experience my 88 year old mother just had, I was buying my usual model car kits brought mom to buy Christmas decorations for house and Dads grave, Upon getting home mom notice bag of merch. Wasnt hers and items she bought missing. Went back to store with receipt next day manager looked at tape he says and seen her and son check out lush out cart full, nothing he could do about it. Ironic wish Id went with say watch tape at check out ose again show were items returning bacauseceasnt ares is scanned and put in are cart then items scanned we didnt receive also during purchase another girl came to help bag items seeing some getting wrapped fragile items other items out in bags mistake by checkers giving us bag not are purchase and forgetting a bag of are purchase. So I went to Hobby Lobby excited to shop everything pumpkin and Halloween. They have always been my go to store! Well, I went up and down the isles and saw plenty of fall and Christmas decor and crafts...but NO Halloween. I asked the cashier where all the Halloween stuff was and she advised that Hobby Lobby would no longer be carrying anything Halloween.😱😱😱😱NO MORE HALLOWEEN AT HOBBY LOBBY?!?!?!I knew they were a Christian store, but thats over the top.Welp, no more Hobby Lobby for me. 😪

Hobby Lobby Bartlett, I have never seen customer service like this. I understand there is a Pandemic and home decor stores like Hobby Lobby are at their peak during the Christmas season, but the cashier McKenzie was the worst I have seen, she was so rude, and continued to be rude, and she dismissed me with a wave of the receipt after I asked her was she having a bad day......they are only this rude because there are no consequences for their behavior.
I wont go on too long in this review. I will simply state that I enjoyed working in landscaping immensely. I enjoyed my time with coworkers as well as my personal manager. The Tree crew manager as well as Mow crews manager are the BEST in the entire company. Now with the bad. Upper management is literally the worst and Im talking about HR, They dropped the ball several times then simply let me go due to medical issues. Now Im ineligible to come back? Its sad to see such a great company run in such a poor manner. They control there employees by constantly having them worried by whether or not theyll have a job in the coming weeks and the amount of decisions that our management leaves to higher ups is astounding and disappointing because from what I understand someone I have never met nor knows me decides my fate within the company against my supervisors wishes. Its just sad really.
I came in for an exacto knife, could not find one while going from aisle to aisle while juggling all of my items because their were no carts I was followed the entire time by what I assume to be loss prevention, literally stalked. I had 4 bottles in my hand worth maybe $3 dollars. Terrible service!!!!!

Job fair for a Company that could careless about you. Stood outside for 3 hrs for a job fair in Tullahoma TN in 93 degree weather in the hot sun. No shade what so ever. This company Shows it doesn’t care about the people applying for a jobs the company would not even pass out water or give some kind of shade To people standing in line. After the 2 1/2 hrs the lady decided to pass out applications to everyone in line. She then took the people that had been in line for 30 minutes in front of the others that were there for 3 hrs and brought them straight in for the interview talk about disrespectful and very unprofessional total disregard for people’s health. So if you want to work for a company that claims the are Christian based they sure didn’t act like it today, make sure you read the disclaimer on the back of the application also because they certainly don’t want you to bring claims against them fine print people read it!
Your grounds at 172nd street NE marysville WA looks like skid row. There are two types of wild blackberries growing in flower beds at least two feet tall. You purple flowering thistles growing in them also at least two feet tall. The grass is at least two feet tall. The weeds are all at least two feet tall. I would think your company would beembarrassed about your exterior grounds.
Very disappointed in both store managers that I spoke with. No masks, no social distancing and no care about their customers. Both times the store clerks were much more customer friendly and concerned about helping the customer. Store is open, but corporate office closed! Will not return.
I visited the Hoover, AL store this week and was very happy with my results. I was trying to create a sewing box for a gift and received wonderful suggestions from Michelle in the fabric department. She was knowledgeable, professional and very helpful. She took the time to help me choose fabric and ribbon to add to my gift. She is a great asset to Hobby Lobby!
I will never give my money to these people again. I made clear that I have PTSD and severe anxiety disorder. 4 different employees continued to stalk me through the store trying to force me to wear a mask, even when I made clear of my medical conditions. I was told to either wear the mask, or they would arrested me in front of my 4 children. Prattville, Alabama location. The mans name is Ray. I have never been treated to terrible in my life. When I wear the mask. I go into a claustrophobic attack and cant breathe. And that made it much worse. I would give no stars, but I want to make clear that they literally STALKED me and harrassed me. I also stated the state law passed in 1965 for no facial coverings along with my conditions. I almost drove to the hospital because I couldnt breathe from my panic attack, the personal attack, being stalked a d followed and was scared for my children.
I recently visited my local store to purchase and item for my son’s school project and in the process another item that was on an end cap that was fully stocked of the same product that I had planned to purchase from Amazon, but it was very clearly marked 50% off. There were about 30 items of the same product, I decided it was close to the price I was planning to pay with the sale, so decided to purchase it at Hobby Lobby. Once I approached the register to pay, I was informed that it was a special pricing already and it didn’t qualify for the sale price. The sign was completely misleading, why would you post the sign in front of 30+ items, all that were excluded from the sale? Needless to say, I didn’t purchase and purchased from Amazon. I tried, The store has a great selection, but poor customer service and misleading sale representation.
Spent over 300$ in one of their stores. They wont stand behind it! It doesnt work. I paid cash, have original receipt and packing and called within 24hrs of buying it, then went in person to see if they would help and no. You should not sale items in your stores that you wont stand behind. No posted refund policy by the purchased item, cashier never said a word. With everything going on in the world now, you think a big company like this would have the common courtesy to not take advantage of your customers. I thought this was a company with good morals, guess i was wrong. Please stop saling items you wont stand by.
IM always surprised at the awful treatment I get when I go into the Hobby Lobby in my town Shelby North Carolina. No one ever says hello, never welcome to Hobby Lobby, and in fact today they had 1 register open and 9 people in line and when I asked the 2 ladies who were obviously shopping while on the clock. If they could open another register neither 1 addressed me, they both rolled thier eyes smack their lips and then called a person to a register. I was in the store probably between 11 and 1:00 in the afternoon the woman who was obviously a manager did not have a Badage on could care less that the people who are spending their hard earned in her store. I heard a rumor that happy lobbies were closing and personally I could care less for some reason I have never received one oz of customer service while shopping at Hobby Lobby.

This morning in the rush and crush of Christmas I ran into your store in Columbus GA hoping to get some help with a picture framing project fully knowing that this close to Christmas there would be no custom framing.I got the next best thing. Wanda. She could not have been more helpful. She was able to cut glass and mats for me while I waited. She was most helpful in the selection process. A perfect transaction because Wanda is very much a can-do helpful person. My lucky day! Though I thanked her profusely, I hope you will let her know how pleased I was as well.

While I love Hobby Lobby and all they have to offer I have to give them 3 stars due to bad customer service. Pat and Wendy in the Corpus Christi TX area are absolutely horrible. Pat acts as though she doesnt want to be there and that customers are a bother to her. Never smiled and was rude to the lady in front of me. I knew when it was my turn I would get the same treatment. Wendy was walking around the cashier area and yelling at customers that so and so lane is open. When customers didnt move to those lanes she yelled again and was so ugly this time. I couldnt believe the attitude. I was disgusted and wanted to get out. I unfortunately had forgotten something and didnt really want to go get it but I went back and grabbed what I wanted and went back in line. The girl that helped me her name was Jenn. She is what customer service is about. She greeted me, asked me if I found everything ok and was exceptionally pleasant. I told her she needed to train the other employees on better customer service because she had it. I love this store and prices so unfortunately I will go back and have to deal with nasty customer service.
I am not happy with the way Sarasota Florida branch has handled an issue that came up at the store. A kid was standing and a display santa many times. I told the little boy are you going to pay for that he said no. I stated well maybe you shouldnt stand on it. The child runs and gets his mother and another adult and two other kids. In fear of my safety I did lie to the parent and stated I only said not to stand on the display. I walked away and the mother was extremely aggressive and threatened me stating if I did say such things I wouldnt of had a good day. I spoke to a person that works there and an Assistant manager both ladies were very sweet and apologized this happened but the manager didnt care wasted my time that I had to explain it again and the two men that walked me out didnt care at all about anything just wanted to get carts seemed like I was waisting there time. I did tell the boys to go I dont need them but they wouldnt leave till I get in the car. Disappointed in the uncaring and attitudes of manager and two men. I was and still am in customer service and you should treat a place of business with respect its not a babysitting place. I was debating on returning the Christmas decorations I purchased but dont feel comfortable returning
Sorry company, greed greed greed. After this outbreak and hobby lobby refuses to close to help protect the employees and customers because the dollar means more than life, people need to take note and refuse to give them business. They set the image to be a Christian company. People this is far from the. Christian way! This is GREED!!!! Truly the DEVEL AT WORK!!!. Shame on Hobby DEVEL lobby!!!!
I went to the Hobby Lobby in Sevierville, Tennessee and had a wonderful experience. It was the cleanest, most organized and friendliest Hobby Lobby I have ever been in.After a torrential downpour you would expect muddy floors. Not in this store! It was spotless.I went to my scrapbook section and it was amazing. The papers were not mangled and it looked like they had just put them out. The selection of different items was fantastic. Everything looked like it was just put out.I was looking for something and I asked one of the employees where I could find it. He didn’t give me the usual “over there.” He took me to the item.When I was checking out I asked to speak to the manager. He came promptly and I told him what a wonderful experience I had in his store. He thanked me and asked where I was from. I said “Alabama, but don’t say that too loud. The people of Tennessee don’t like us.” (Football rivals). The customers laughed. I had never asked to speak to the manager before and don’t know what possessed me to do that but I was glad I did. He was personable and a credit to your store.This store and manager should receive an acknowledgement.
I went into the Hobby Lobby in Clovis, New Mexico, to find a yellow stickered lava lamp on an end-cap that had a sign posted at 50% off. I grabbed that, with $50 worth of other items and planned on purchasing it also at 50% off due to the signs of 50% off Home Decor.. I was told no.. that it was not on sale and that was the markdown price. I inquired as to what the ORIGINAL price was. He removed the yellow sticker to look at it and the original price was $14. He then backtracked telling me they had a certain markup. What? Original price was $14, yellow ticket at $17.99 and NO sale, even though there were signs everywhere stating 50% Off Home Decor. Bad on Hobby Lobby. Wrong on every level for a consumer. Just wrong. Will not EVER shop there again, even for my business. (And we wonder why brick and mortar stores are going out of business.)
Not really feeling hobby lobby in Jackson, Ms. This is the second time I have gone to William S register and felt degraded. Today, I was informed that I was lucky to get the discount I got because he could charge me. Well, William I hate to inform you, I got money.

This should be negative zero stars because the store managers that represent this company is disgusting. DO NOT under any circumstances leave this store without checking your receipt and merchandise. I purchased A TUBE of VIOLET decorating icing from Hobby Lobby on Manhattan Blvd, in Harvey, LA. When I got home it was obvious that the tube of icing had been tampered with long ago because the VIOLET icing I thought I purchased wasn’t really VIOLET, it was baby BLUE. The blue icing was all over the bag and other items I had JUST purchased from there. I wasn’t able to go back right at the moment because I had some decorating that I needed to get to immediately. Not only was my time compromised but my decorations had to be altered too. After a couple of days, I finally was able return to the store, the cashier called the front line manager and then the front line manager got on the loud speaker and a called “CODE 71” to register one. Two store managers immediately came to the cash register examining the “$2.29 TUBE” of decorating icing like as if I had stolen it. I mean really made a scene. Because the receipt said $2.99 vs the HOBBY LOBBY sticker that was on the TUBE of icing said $2.29, the manager said they couldn’t take it back. I have NEVER been so humiliated in my life behind $2.00. They treated me as if I was a thief. I wasn’t the person who entered the price. If you ask me I should have been upset, because I was overcharged for this item. It was my very first time in this store, and my very last time. My money spends anywhere. Hobby Lobby will NEVER get another dime of my money again!!!
I give hobby lobby a one star because of the way they treated me as a loyal employee. The way they run their corporate office is a disgrace to true professionals. They hire and promote based on physical beauty and popularity, not on actual work related skills! People disappear all the timeThe Christian values the Green family say they use to run their company are cheap...easy to show appearances, but hard to adhere by. Their products are cheap, and I am NOT referring to their prices.I know this review means nothing to them, but people should know the businesses they support.I only support them if I need art supplies for my kids school projects. Our latest visit to the new Midwest City, OK store was the usual. My daughter asked an associate for help finding an item. The associate was bothered and not happy to help. She reluctantly showed us where it was. Everytime we go to checkout it takes 15-20 minutes. They only ever have 1 or 2 registers open, for both sales and returns which takes longer.

Ordered 24 canvases online June 15 its 6 days later I look at tracking it says it was delivered June 17th which is an utter lie. We were having a ac unit installed in our home and nothing had been dropped off. With 24 canvases being delivered it was a pretty big box. I called FedEx to track it they did investation I was told if I didnt receive by the 24th contact seller which is hobby lobby. I tried contacting hobby lobby but of course HOBBY LOBBY IS NOT ACCEPTING CALLS ONLY EMAILS. Ive literally emailed over 20 times no response. I want a full refund because this is ridiculous I have to go through all of this and still no package. Looking at the reviews guess Im not alone. I guessing the next step will be calling the bank to file a despite! I will never shop at hobby lobby again. Believe it or not this was my first and last time.. worse experience ever in history. I want my money back. Shipping fees all that.
Laid off employees and never got to speak to a person. No sick leave, personal pay or servance pay .. If you worked for some place for 15 years plus, dont you think you would have some humanity in doing it correctly?

SORRY...THIS IS A RANT...YOU’VE BEEN WARNED!I normally love Hobby Lobby, but today...not so much!! 😖In September, I bought lights for a Fall scene & they quit working. I didn’t return them until I was ready to take my fall decorations down. I took them to the Maryville TN Hobby Lobby on Friday & the cashier couldn’t find where I had purchased them with my credit card & I couldn’t find my receipt, which is very unlike me. Anyway, they said they could only give me the lowest price marked, which was 90% off. As much as I hated to accept this amount (because I know I paid more) I said “better to get something, than nothing, since they don’t work”.Today, I found my receipt & took it over there to find out 1) why they couldn’t find the transaction since I had indeed used my card & 2) to see if they would give me the additional money. The (same) cashier told me she didn’t find the merchandise on the register because she was looking for 50% off (I originally purchased @ 40% off). Huh?? So they can only find a transaction if you know how much you paid for it?? She called the front-end manager, who then called the store manager on duty (Mike). He said he was sorry, but he couldn’t do anything because they had already given a refund using my driver’s license for a no receipt return. I expressed my frustration to the cashier & front-end manager & told them I could not believe Mike was willing to have an upset customer over $11, but that’s ok & to tell him “if he can live with it, I can live without it”. I hate to be rude but that receipt alone was $78, not to mention how many times I’ve been there since. I guess Michael’s will get my business, even though they don’t have near the items available.

As I do love Hobby Lobby I do not love the customer service I get while in the store. I walked by at least 8 employees including managers in the Taylor Michigan location and not one, not one greeted me, said hello, or acknowledged I existed. There is always staff on the floor stocking so getting help isn’t hard, but the friendliness is lacking something terrible. A simple “hello” goes a long way. At least acknowledge your customers! If the staff were friendly I would give five stars because I do love the beautiful items the store carries, but I can’t do that due to the level of rudeness that is received. I guess if the managers don’t have to acknowledge the customers why should the staff. It starts at the top and rolls down.
I want to sing the praises of Walker who works in the framing department at the Duluth, GA, Hobby Lobby. Walker not only helped with my selection of frame for a print, but answered questions about an antique poster I wanted to frame in the future. I asked for Walker when I returned the next week to pick up my framed print, and he stopped what he was doing and came to discuss the poster I brought in.....as a result, he framed it right then and there and went above and beyond to help me out. I made sure I told the manager, Gary, of how helpful Walker was to me, and I would like Corporate and other shoppers to know about his service! I look forward to returning again to have another poster framed!

It was sitting on a Display that side wall decor are 50% off, I brought it up to the front and I was told that although it was sitting on that shelf it was not 50% off. Lawrence Kansas store manager should be FIRED!!! He is incredibly rude and condescending to not only customers but even more to his staff!!! The other people that work at this store must have the patience of a saint! They are kind every time we are there! That P.O.S. (Richard) of a manager should never be in charge of anyone!!! Hobby lobby had owed me a personal check that was supposed to be mailed to me, I waited weeks but didn’t receive anything and was misguided by another employee there that said it was mailed but it was still there! (May be spelled incorrectly) Sabrina at the corporate office handled the situation and took her time to locate this check quickly and made sure I would get it, super professional. This person deserves recognition!
Horrible management. Wont put scheduling out for employees until night before instead of 2 week advanced schedule for workers.Bad work conditions from management, a very hostel environment for management.Workers with bad attitudes.This is not a FAMILY oriented company.Full time employees are abused by the management, where part timers a treated special.
On 7/20/19 at 3:43pm (time stamped on my receipt), I visited Hobby Lobby Rancho Cucamonga location to purchase a frame, two wooden magnets and a small notepad. I was waiting in line and when I walked up to the cash register and placed my items on the counter, the cashier (named JENNA) used her right had to reach her butt crack to scratch, and immediately after that, she used her left hand and scratched her vagina. I was completely taken back and blindsided by that behavior. She continued to ring up my items and then when I paid for them, she just pushed them towards me without giving me a bag, let alone using tissue paper to wrap my frame with it. I asked her if I could have a bag and if she could wrap my frame. She said yes and then used ONE SINGLE sheet of paper to half way wrap my frame because the frame was slightly bigger than the paper. Then she proceeded to just DROP my small items into the bag causing a loud noise that made me think that she could have broken my items.I am not one to complain but after I left the store I decided to call and let the manager know about my experience. I called but unfortunately the manager was not in. However, I let the person that answered the phone know (JEANNETTE) about what just happened.I love Hobby Lobby, they got wonderful items but the service I experienced today was unacceptable, unprofessional, and just plain rude and disgusting.I have decided to escalate this to their corporate office and invite the administration to review the camera’s videotape from today so they can verify my review.
