I think I have been a customer of Urban Teahouse for over 5 years and I have never once been disappointed. I am shocked I didnt have a review of this place, truthfully. This is the best place to buy tea drinks and loose leaf tea. I order a few times a year to ship to Texas and there are never any issues with my orders. In fact, I am usually more delighted that 5 stars is not enough to show how much I love Urban Teahouse.

I got a sweeter, cold tea there when I needed some WiFi to work on job resumes. The younger person working the counter told me it “slaps.” Apparently that means “its mighty good” in English. When did I get old? It just seems like yesterday when I was young and cool and knew the lingo. Not anymore. I might as well go crematorium shopping (I’m getting cremated vs buried in a coffin when I pass on). Anyways, the tea was really good and I’ll probably go back again to get some more of the tea that “slaps.”

Tea was okay. Nothing special, especially considering the outrageous price. Absolutely NO customer service. Workers are rude and act like they are doing you a favor by waiting on you.

Absolutely love this place. This is A FANTASTIC place for people that dont know much about tea. The lady that owns the shop loves to give advice and suggestions and shes super friendly. The other staff are friendly as well.Overall, this is a high quality place for dinner good tea!

• Little bit hidden, large tea selection, relaxed place.• This one is a tad harder to find, especially if you go by your GPS. Its actually on the back side of the building, not towards the main road. Inviting atmosphere with plenty of places to sit and lots of teas to choose from. We got ours to go and mine was really good (they even give you 3 sweet levels to choose from and style of sweetener to get).

Wow! So many choices! They have so much knowledge about each item on their menu, and are happy to help!

I love the loose apricot tea thats sold in bulk here -- the apricot flavor and other non-black tea ingredients (marigold petals? Hell if I know) really enhance the flavor, and its easy to pop in when I want to buy in bulk. Very easy to find, too -- thats always a huge advantage. COVID-19 prevention measures? Yup -- you bet.

I’ve only been here a couple of times but have had extremely pleasant experiences every time. Everyone is incredibly knowledgeable about their products and will take the time to explain differences or help point you in the direction of what you might like, or what would be best for the tea you got. It’s a really cute, laid back space and everyone there is really nice. I don’t go their often because it’s pretty far away from where I live. I wish I were closer because I would probably go here all the time! Also 11/10 that they have eco cups and cups with no straws. Huuuuge plus and lots of respect for that.

Friendly staff. Superb customer service. Wonderful tea.I visited several times over several trips to OKC for work. Each time I had great conversations with the staff in general and regarding their teas in general. I enjoyed the calming atmosphere, the on-site brewed tea per staff recommendations, and smelling a variety of teas before purchasing several for my trip home. The range of selection and the quality of the tea were wonderful as well.Fast forward to September 2020. Since I live out of state, I made an online purchase recently. While there was a mix up and some mail troubles with the initial order, the staff were absolutely a pleasure to communicate with and were able to get the order resolved in a manner well beyond expectations.I cant speak highly enough about how amazing the staff has been both in and out of the physical location. I continue to be ecstatic to recommend Urban Teahouse whenever I have the opportunity.

I used to be a coffee lover, I never found myself enjoying tea. However, one of the many changes with covid was my favorite coffee shop closing. So I started drinking more tea at home. Now, Ive found a love for tea and this place is PERFECT. Theyre always so informational and I love how well they preserve the pure tea flavor. I visit for to go drinks and buy by the ounce for the house! Come in, Im sure youll find something to your taste- their selection is amazing!!

The waiter was very rude. Did not get any tea because the customer service was just intolerable. I understand we are required to wear masks but there is no excuse for the way he went about trying to enforce this rule. They must have so much business they can afford to turn people away.

This place has an absolutely wonderful tea selection. I tried 3 new teas this weekend and was delighted that I loved all of them. The music was good too. The vibe was calm and relaxed and different than a coffee shop in many ways. I will definitely be returning here. Some teas to try are chamomile mint, pear spice, and Bai Mu Dan!

This is like a coffee house except it serves tea with a small variety of sweets. The apple pue is delicious. You can purchase loose leaf tea by the ounce etc. The white teas are delicious. The black teas are pretty good too. They have a large variety of teas for you to choose from. You can also purchase different tea tools like infussers etc. The staff are very pleasant, professional yet warm, friendly and helpful. I recommend this place!

Ill be honest, I expected more, but after I was there for awhile, they had more than I originally thought. The staff was supremely knowledgeable, showed me all their wares, explained how they worked, gave excellent tips on tea brewing I did not know. Staff was so nice, helpful, and knowledgeable. My favorite teahouse in Oklahoma City! Carrie greeted us, walked us through the extensive menu, made suggestions and made sure we ordered exactly what we wanted. So many options for tea, sweeteners, cream and temperature. The pricing is well worth the portion and quality of tea. The vibe is very modern, yet cozy. Definitely recommend to anyone who loves tea and great customer service. I recommend the hot silver needle Jasmine tea for a medium amount of caffeine.

Before coming here, I had never had specialty tea, never been in a tea house and didn’t know what to expect. The owner was tremendously helpful, very kind and extremely knowledgeable about her product. I told her the flavors I typically enjoy in a drink and she made me the perfect cup of iced tea. She also helped my daughter pick out a flavor she would enjoy. It was an amazing experience and we will return!

My wife and I went in there for her to get some loose-leaf tea and the gentleman working there helped walked her through every little detail since she had never made her own loose-leaf tea. Excellent tea house. They let you smell before you buy and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable! There are visible leaves/buds/stems in the tea, and it tastes fantastic!!!The shop is actually on the back side of the block. Google will tell you your destination is on the right, but you wont see a sign. Go to the end of the block, and turn right twice. Its in the location Google suggests, but you have to be behind the building to see it.

LOVED my visit here. Kerrie, Samson, Kalob were all so amazing!!! They were incredibly friendly, and even more knowledgeable. They chatted with us and aswered a million questions, but they were also good about taking care of the other customers who came in. Amazing tea and the staff is super helpful if youre not sure what you want. Vanilla black with a splash of milk is a safe bet if youre coming in for the first time!Update: they took Splenda off their menu so there is no longer a sugar-free choice on their menu.

For anyone who lives to drink tea, this is the place to go. The owner is very friendly and remembers everyone and usually their drinks, if you are a regular. They do serve vegan friendly pasties which are delicious. There is always great art and a friendly environment.

I love Urban Teahouse and have been coming for years. The tea is great, though not blended in house as far as I could tell. The customer service is a little cold, not rude, but they dont really go out of their way to make sure you have the greatest experience possible. I would probably spend a lot more money when I came here if I didnt feel like such a burden asking to smell teas and ordering drinks to know what I want.
