We purchased over $2300 dollars of inventory. They loaded up our windows on top of each other in vehicle stating that it would be fine to transfer them this way. Four were wrapped in cellophane and we even used blankets. No delivery option was given. When they arrived to our destination, $600 dollars worth of windows were broken of the ones that were on the bottom of the stack and no cellophane wrap. They do not care, even though they stated that would be fine to transport them that way and they are not willing to work with the customer and we are out the money. Save yourself the headache and go to Lowes or Home Depot. They will give better customer service sadly. We expected them to be the experts and tell us that that method of transporting the windows is risky and we would have just made two trips.

Their phone system needs an overhaul. Spent a good 30 minutes being transferred from person to person when i called about a tool. Then one of the employees sent me to his own voice-mail when i asked to speak to a manager.

Just wanted to say how happy I am with Roberto’s service! He went above and beyond in trying to help me find what I needed! If you’re ever in Forest lumber on May, ask for Roberto, by far the best experience I’ve had there and Ive been there many times! He is the best employee they have in my opinion!

Poor service. Called early afternoon to confirm there was plenty in stock. Then hooked up the trailer and drove from Guthrie. Paid at the counter and drove into the lumber yard to load up. A yard supervisor said they were out. Went back to check-out to get the charge reversed and drove home with an empty trailer. Not ever going back to Forest lumber.

Huge selection and decent prices!!

If you own an old home that has those big, thick, old growth architectural pieces, cedar siding, and unique wood trim pieces that they dont sell in the hardware stores, this is where you need to shop. Its for the more discerning homeowner that wants to restore the old instead of giving their home that Home Depot common-as-muck look that so many homes have taken on in the Big Box store times were living in. They have a good team that will help you if you have questions, too.

They seemed bothered that you would even ask them prices and I had a big job in my backyard. I even went in and spoke with two separate employees. I called back a few days later to see if it would be different and the guy, who answered, started with one price, but then told me he was switching me over to a sales floor guy and it rang forever!!! I hung up and called right back and it rang forever again. I called back in another minute to find another employee just as unfriendly nor helpful. There are other businesseswho treat customers better...go elsewhere.
