One thing was great, their topping choices were fabulous. Not sure what the hype is on rolled ice cream. In my opinion, the texture is flaky. Not a fan of flaky ice cream...seems dry. For the price and distance we drove, we have places that are closer that we like better.

First time trying this type of rolled up ice cream, I watched the guy make it too. It was pretty cool too watch, but thats just my ignorant opinion. Add far as the taste it was packed with toppings which was good and the ice cream was very rich and creamy even though it was dry. I got mine to go so I ate some of it and put the rest in the freezer for later. Overall it was good and I got a chance to experience something new so 5 stars.It should be noted that the guy who made the ice cream seemed to make it with much care and diligence.

Customer service and cleanliness is what I look for in a place of business.Youre welcomed with a hello when you walk in..The place is always clean.The staff is a customer watcher. What I mean by that is.They learn their customers and after a few visits they know what you like and will suggest or tell you what they have new.That falls in the flavors you like

The ice cream is fresh and rolled up right before my very eyes. Great flavors to choose from incredible taste. Theres only 1 size to choose from and the portion is generous. Our family always enjoys going here.

Pros: Top notch customer service, variety, and flavor. We went here for the first time tonight and the guy behind the counter was ahead of his time in customer service - so refreshing to see that in youth today. Second, there is a massive variety in ice cream dish combos and toppings, which is also great. Third, flavor was also outstanding. Cons: ice cream prep is lengthy - not for the rushed customer for sure. They start with a liquid format that is spread out by two metal spatulas flat across a cold surface until it freezes. Second, its a bit pricey. My strawberry shortcake dish cost $7.00 so that could add up fast for a bigger family. Third, you have to wait for the ice cream to melt a bit before it becomes creamy that you can easily spoon into. Overall, will definitely go back if Im not in a rush.

I want to bring my kids here one day. Its a fantastic place for great rolled ice cream. Lactose-free, so many choices, and very friendly staff. Service is slow. Also lactose free is completely different from plant based or vegan. They have one plant based ice cream that they were out of. Will not come back based on slowness and not having more vegan options. I’m ready to support any and all places in okc that want to add more vegan/healthier options. I did get my mom something while I was there so my time wasn’t completely wasted, she said it was good.

The only complaint I would have, is that they do not have children size. It was too much for my 4-year-old great-grandson. But the ice cream is delicious! So many choices at this place, its hard to decide. Ive only been twice and the staff have always been very friendly!

Pros: so many options!We dined for a sunday afternoon snack. We ordered butter pecan, monkey business and tres leches $6.45ea. It was interesting to watch the rolling process. Everyone was satisfied. Plenty of toppings to choose from plus the icecream is lactose free!

First time having The Freezing Cow! Oh man was there so much to choose from! Over 5,000 combinations!! Perfect Dessert for a date night!! He got #19 Dark Forest with chocolate syrup and M&Ms! I took forever to make up my mind LOL so much to choose from but I picked something I love Cotton Candy! I got #34 Candy Crush with sprinkles and Andys Mint chocolate pieces! Ahh the hint of mint with the cotton candy was so yummy! Cant wait to try something different! And they are big enough to share but we both wanted different so we got our own! Lol!!

The ice cream is delicious. The concept is pretty cool. They seemed understaffed but we had fun watching them make the orders. The price seems high for what you get in my opinion, but I get that its handmade and takes more skill than a typical freezer machine that most ice cream places would use. My experience was good overall.

The ice cream itself was delicious! Was not missing the lactose, and my lactose intolerant family member was so excited. The texture is a tiny tiny bit icy, just barely, and I loved it. My only complaint was that the staff wearing matching masks were wearing them below their noses and made no effort to correct this, even after removing gloves to answer the phone and touching other parts of their outfit/person. Those masks are poorly fitting and while other hygiene was appropriate, COVID hygiene was not. We will be waiting to return until cases arent so high.

What an awesome experience! Hand crafted specialty ice creams with Mega choices!!! If your tired of the same ol same ol I recommend coming to see them!! I had the pina colada with walnuts and choc chips and it was dynamite!!! So delicious!!! I even bought a souvenir t shirt and pop socket so I can tell everyone how great this place was!!!

The concept of Rolled Icecream is fascinating to see how they blend all the flavors in and make them into rolls. There are innumerable combinations u can make with all the options they have for icecreams & toppings. Make sure u build up an appetite before u go there, bcos the cups are big, the rolls are meaty ;D and u sure dont want to throw away any.

I wished they have a kids/Toddler size but they dont, I think the one size they have is perfectly for an adult but too much for a toddler. other than that it is an Excellent customer service and extremely clean. The creativity of the icecream is unusual but its delicious. I believe is a must try it at least.

These two make the best ice cream in the city. They always go above and beyond for their customers. It’s amazing they are such good people and they put their all into their business. Their rewards program is awesome also. Buy 8-9 get one free. I suggest anyone to stop by here and give them a chance. Did I have to wait a bit for my evening ice cream? Yes. Was it worth it? 100%. They get pretty busy in the evenings but during the day it’s pretty quick service. Fresh ice cream that’s rolled right in front of you? The best!!!! I went during the day when they weren’t as busy and it was amazing! Quick service, amazing ice cream, store was clean and all the tables were wiped down as soon as people left! 10/10 would highlllyyy recommend!!!

A fun and different trend in ice cream so nice place to try. The price is set and not based on weight. The combos listed on the menu are great but you can also customize your flavors. The beauty and the beast menu item was delicious—can’t go wrong with the vanilla/strawberry/Nutella combo! Since only offered in one size, definitely large enough to share.

We visit freezing cow at least once a week, its a fav in our family. The last two visits weve been shorted on our order or is wrong. This evening the order was incorrect. I planned to go exchange the wrong ice cream for the correct one. When i called, the manager was rude and argumentative. She basically said i was lying. When i tried to explain we 4 Ive creams, we were given one that was incorrect. I just wanted to exchange it. But the manager was so extremely rude! I just said forget it. My husband called back and tried to explain it and she was argumentative towards him, accusing me of hanging up. The service used to be so good. But lately its so slow and the managers are rude. So disappointed! For $25 for ice cream, i would hope theyd at least be willing to exchange a wrong Ive cream. No more Freezing Cow for us.

Great Customer Service and Great Ice Cream

Brought my son for the first time, If you’re in a big hurry go somewhere else. I got here at 3:05 it’s now 3:45 and I haven’t received our ice cream yet😢. The young women at the counter was pleasant no complaints there just time wise I feel they could do a lot better. Hopefully I caught them on an off day or maybe they were short staffed anywho can’t wait to try the ice cream hope it’s worth the wait but I will not be back!

This is a great family owned ice cream franchise! Its ice cream with a twist. Starts out a liquid then they freeze it and roll it.. Makes a good amount of ice cream. Best part is watching them make it!

THE SMELL!! RUN! My family and I wanted to try a new ice cream place; super excited about this place. As soon as you walked in, weird off putting smell. The place looks like it’s seen better days, but still wanted to try. I went up to order and I noticed none of the employees were wearing makes. The woman behind the counter took my order. She was not the most welcoming. She got an attitude when I wasn’t going to buy the small children their own ice cream. She gave me a number and I took a seat with my family. There was about four people in front of me, I took 35 MINUTES for us to get the order. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands, disguising; maybe that’s where the smelling is coming from. After we got our ice cream, I saw the employees touching the trash, ice cream rollers, the refrigerator, their faces and clothing w/o washing or changing their gloves. Then pick up ice cream and place it in the cup. After that I ditched the ice cream and ran. I don’t want or need COVID-19 in my life. This place is probably a Petri dish of viruses and bacteria. The only reason I’m giving it 2 stars is because the ice cream was decent, but not worth a topping of COVID-19.

Ice cream was good except for the pile of coconut that made it almost un eat able that took our order was rude.

Once our order was made it sat on the back counter. I asked the young man working if our order was done and he told me that it was but he could not let me have it yet because the order before mine was not ready yet. I looked at him confused and he told me it was the “rule” Actually they ran out of orange ice cream which the order before mine wanted. Poor management choices

If you want to try something new around the city, or are just cruising down northwest expressway I definitely recommend this place. But I will say at the end of the day it is just ice cream. That is a little more expensive and has a much longer wait than a normal lce cream shop. Everything tatses great. And its definitely unique. But at the end of the day id prefer Roxys.
