Orschelns has ALWAYS been our #1 go-to store for everything from livestock feed to dog leashes, from salt water taffy to steel toe boots, from double pole utility breakers to weed eaters...but after the treatment we received yesterday we will NEVER go back!!!I hope the owner will contact me for details after seeing this post. The staff were all so friendly and helpful! When I went blindly walking there for something. They offered help finding it and gave advice of how to use it ur what to do. I hope that little stays open and isnt run out because of another big corporation. You dont get quality at places like those compared to Orschlens

I prefer going here than Tractor Supply. More varied products and friendlier staff.

Walked into a busy store on the day before a heavy snow. We had a list of stuff to buy and when my husband approached a man moving pallets of feed, he became pretty nasty and said “I’ll save you the time and tell you we don’t have it in stock.” He could not have been more rude. Apparently a lot of people had came in asking for heaters, heat tape, etc. He really didn’t know what we were looking for but, continued to repeat that he was sold out of everything we needed. I won’t stop coming there because of this jerk, but maybe if they updated their website once in awhile, maybe people wouldn’t bug him with questions. They are out of tons of stuff. Why can’t you keep adequate inventory?

Great place to find about anything. I picked up some plumbing parts and a bottle of the awesome FROST TOP ROOT BEER they carry and some school clothes! The variety is great 👍🏻

Arrived on the day the chickens and ducks were delivered and I guess I showed up too early because they had not been processed. The manager stated that he could not sell me anything until they went over a list of people that had claimed birds from a previous day I asked if I could buy them since I was there and ready he said no because that’s not good business and they would call corporate and complain. I then asked how long he gives people before they go ahead and sell the birds that were previously claimed he said at the end of the day so I said OK! I will be back at the end of the day and whatever was not claimed on your list and whatever was not picked up will purchase today before closing. He said OK I told him my name and I came back about 15 minutes prior to closing the manager was no longer there and then place the remaining chickens and ducks in the “for sale” troughs and sold them all. So he did exactly what he would not allow me to do either one of two things1) he did not believe I wanted to buy them or2) discriminationI went back to talk to him for the next two days and he was not available so I called the corporate office and left a voice message to have someone contact me over an issue and I have yet to hear anything after two weeks I suggest you go to tractor supply where they actually do try to please every customer.

Pretty seasoned crew. Everyone seemed to have had something to do . My only concern as with any public place is to remind your crew that of your going to make eye contact you might as well speak and say hey welcome, or are you finding everything ok? !They would be surprised the cool guest that they might meet!!

Awesome every thing I could have needed from a hardware store, a real one that is. This is like the old school store that had that one thing you needed that no one else has, right there next to the bucket of nails and grass seed. If it not there go check by the ammo

Has the chickens I like

I hadnt been inside the Orscheln store in a long time and noticed it has significantly more variety than it used to. Its better stocked and lower priced than Tractor Supply stores.

They are always stocked with things I need.and they have good sales.

They are not as friendly as they used to be. They have all new people working there and they dont help you find things you are looking for they just tell you where it should be. Thats not good. Just not happy with the new people working there

It was alright, I actually found a lot of very affordable things there but just had to figure out where they were I have to say I really believe walmart and family dollar and even TH Rogers are getting a run for the money They offer better quality for an affordable price and the staf is very friendly too

They have a lot of things that you cant find anywhere else but they are a little pricey for the quality that you get. The people that work there are great.

I was greeted at the door by a young lady. Then when I was checking out the a young man, he asked if I had found everything I needed? But after I paid him and I picked up my bag, he said nothing. I said to him thank you and he still didnt say anything. I think its rude not to thank a customer for shopping at your store.
