This place is awesome. Went there after loosing a few things while hunting to rent a metal detector. They showed me how to use it, I found everything, and they even gave my daughter a little bag of rocks that they found and polished up.

My first time using a metal detector, and so far Im impressed with everything that came in the package. Not only is the Owners Manual very detailed, and easy to understand, but the accompanying letter made me feel like they were willing to answer any questions I may have. I buy a bunch off Amazon.. BUT I searched the net and found this GREAT PLACE. I wanted a Garrett 400And bought the 55th anniversary set here for the same price, but got extra.. a nice carrying case, a digger trowel, and keeper pouch..That little extra goes a long way.Item was received very fast and I havent stopped digging for a week. Found a silver ring on day two at my parents house that is covered with Iron, foil, cans and pull tabs.Ive since ordered the smaller coil and got it quick for being delivered by the USPS vs UPS.This company has got my business in the future for sure. My husband bought me a Garrett AT Pro package for Christmas that was over $700 from this store, but they charged him $70 more for going through Amazon than if he had gone through your website, they failed to send the hat that was part of the package, and they didn’t even send the cover for the search coil that is standard with a Garrett AT Pro. When I contacted them via email and also Instagram they completely ignored me. I have wanted a metal detector since I was a young girl, I am just sad that my husband chose this store to try to get me what I dreamed of since now we both have to feel bad.

My wife lost her cell phone in the first great blizzard of 2013. She jumped out of the Suburban on an exit ramp to clear the wipers and her cell phone dropped into the snow. Three days and a lot of melting latter we called High Plains Prospectors to rent a metal detector for the search. I emailed the store on a Sunday and Josh met us and rented us the best detector he had -- but gave us an old but reliable one to use also. After 30 minutes we found the cell phone in a snow bank - Charged it up and all is well. It was really great service --the shop was closed - and he couldnt be nicer or more helpful. I will use again if the need arises!

After losing my engagement ring under the bridge, in the shallow but murky pond at the Overland Park Arboretum, we searched google, found and contacted High Plains Prospectors for help. Once they arrived on scene, we pointed them in the direction and location where the ring fell in. They hopped in the water, each on either side of the bridge and within 10 mins they found it! I was impressed by their ability to listen for the sound of the ring, as they were not in a position to get a visual. My girlfriend lost her Grandmothers ring while we were out playing soccer last night and I called High Plains this morning to rented a metal detector. The guys were very friendly and walked me through the functions of the metal detector before sending me on my hunt. When I came back to return the detector after my successful search, they were as excited, if not more so, about the find.
