We went to DCH Academy Honda to look at a used car we were interested in. We called ahead to ask a few questions about the car and Jazzy, one of the sales men, was very helpful and friendly. When we arrived, Carlos quickly brought the car around and we were able to test drive. He was very knowledgeable about cars and was able to answer all of the questions we had. There was some water in the car and Carlos was able to quickly have it looked at by the service depart, diagnosed and fixed to our satisfaction. We were highly impressed both by the competitive price and the quality of the vehicle. Carlos made the process seamless despite the delay of the car going through service. We were held up a little bit with switching the registration but the dealership was very busy on a Friday afternoon. Overall we would highly recommend DCH Academy Honda and especially Carlos!

I usually don’t write reviews but experience was quite interesting and very shocking so I thought to share it with everyone. I have owned several Honda vehicles all my life. Currently, I have an accord and my wife drives a pilot. We wanted to get a Honda Accord as a third vehicle so my wife doesn’t have to drive her pilot everywhere. We decided to go test drive a few cars to see what we like. After we test drove one car, we were told that we can only test drive one more car and that’s it. I’ve never seen or heard anything like this especially at a dealership. The sales person went and got someone name Michael or Mike (who needs some dental work quite frankly) and he acted like we were in trouble for test driving more than one car at a used car dealership. I immediately told him that I’m more than happy to leave and there is no need for me to waste his time or mine. At that point he changed his tone and would allow us to test drive a couple more cars. By now we had already made up our mind that we weren’t going to buy anything from them. I’ve never heard a used car salesperson or a car dealership manager preventing people from test driving. Usually it’s the other way around. Maybe McDonald will stop serving french fries next.

Sales was great during my used Honda purchase. They even helped remove my dash cam from trade in. I had a few issues after but all were handled and I am satisfied: soon after I got warning pop ups on my dashboard which resulted engine work done free of charge. Service was great and gave me a loaner. Then I questioned a additional charge on purchase day for something I did not need. After some time, I was returned the charge. Dealership is dated but look forward to see final construction. Thanks again!

So I have heard the notion before to take bad reviews with a grain of salt (if you will) something to the effect of people are more inspired to voice negative experiences than positive. We’ll I have reviewed more positive than negative experiences and I just wonder if that narrative came from those that have a vested interest either way I have found reviews and my ability to scrutinize reviews vital in my endeavors. Now this dealership was contacted by me in regards to a specific car listed on auto trader by them I was told they don’t have the vehicle at the time at the dealership and it was in transit I wondered how is it listed as available inventory but maybe it’s how the dealer and auto trader list but I will note it was also on there site. I spoke to my interest in buying asap at a certain price and to notify me if it comes in. The sales guy called himself Jazz or what sounded like Jazz went into the typical we can’t meet at that price and spoke about the vehicle manufacturing shortage and so on. I understood as I could have easily accepted we couldn’t agree on price and move on my list of many dealers left to make a deal with. However a day later I get a notification that said vehicle had a reduction in price and I figured let me check on it and that’s where this dealership joins the list of “ stay far away “ type dealerships. I spoke back with this “Jazz” sales guy who almost immediately went into a diatribe about how the price is what it is even stated the dealership wasn’t named Jazz Honda but DCH Honda indicating how he had no ability to move pricing and on he went until I kindly mentioned that I was notified the price had changed and at that point he looked it up and comes back with a new price that made a deal possible but then he went back to not trying to sell the car. He says he would send me a email with the price as listed and I said at the number he quoted we basically have a deal. I did mention how bad a salesman he was and let him know he spent more time telling me how he couldn’t sell me the car for a price that was apparently changed to a price that I was willing to pay. I wait for email a day and none comes I decide to research this dealership a bit more just to find some similar shady practices and the dealership responding with at least one general manager named “Acosta” asking one dissatisfied customer to call them directly. I get proactive and decide to call to follow up asking for the operator which puts me on the phone with someone I can’t remember her name but she was trying the old let me get in front of the issue and sweep it away because she wouldn’t really connect me with the general manger saying they where tied up as if my leaving a message for a return call was not a thing but she tries to handle the issue herself by connecting me with a different sales person then upon learning more from me about what is occurring telling me she would have the GM call me back like I initially requested but two days later no call. I will leave it here but anyone looking seriously to buy a vehicle stay far away from there page or advertisements and you will remember this review with a certain sadness if you choose otherwise. BTW, they don’t really get 1 star we know that gets you started!!!

Came here few days ago with my family kind of browsing for a soon to be a new SUV.I was immediately greeted by Bart who was super friendly and really informative.He answered all my questions and even joked around with my 18 month old.When we’re ready to pull the trigger, Bart is definitely the salesman we wanna deal it. Would Not Recommend For First Time Car Buyers.Alexis was great in helping with scheduling a time to look at a used vehicle there. When we arrived she even came up and greeted us personally. The problems began when we got to the sales persons desk. I am very new to the car buying process, so I was looking forward to hearing about the vehicle and some of the features it has. The sales person pointed to where the car was and then told us to come back when we were ready to start driving. We looked around the car and then got ready for the test drive. The sales person didnt say a word. I had to ask what test drive route I was supposed to take and I even tried making small talk but to no avail. It was so uncomfortable! By the time the sales manager came to speak with us, I was ready to just leave. I felt like I was no longer welcome and when the topic of price for the car came up the sales person just asked questions very quickly and didnt explain what things meant. Overall, Im sure its a great place if you know what youre doing, but if youre new and uncertain like me this may not be the best choice.

Easy to make a service appointment. The staff is polite and professional. The service was performed exactly at the scheduled time. The only inconvenience is some building alteration. Very satisfied. Lets see how my car will perform after serviced.

Recently visited the show room and was helped out by a very nice gentleman by the name of Carlos Gil. He graciously answered all the questions I had on the models I had my eye on, and knew about features I was not aware of. He explained the warranties very throughly. Over all great help while I was browsing. I will definitely be back when ready to purchase, and looking forward to signing the papery with Mr. Gil!

By far the worst dealership I have ever been to. After stating I didn’t want wheel locks, I got told they were already on the car so I had to pay for them. Before leaving, I did a final check of the car. The wheel locks weren’t even on the car. You pay 300 dollars to have your car “detailed” But I had to use my own shirt to clean the back up cam before I could use it. To top it all off, I called five days before my temporary plates expired. I was ensured they were mailed out that day. Five days later I call to find out why they aren’t here yet. They were NEVER mailed. Obviously I was very upset, considering my plates were now expired. They refused to do anything but overnight my plates, I informed them I had work the next am and I didn’t not feel comfortable driving with expired plates. The manager told me to drive, and they would pay my tickets if I got pulled over. DISGUSTING. Still waiting for the GM ray to call me. At this point I do not think he will be. Go to any Honda dealership but here.

The lady who gave me my plates was very nice. The first salesperson there outright lied to me, when it came to negotiations, it was a joke. The second salesperson I had was great but by then I already bought the car. My car was not at all preped or detailed. The car was used, 2800 miles, and no owners manual. They said they would get it, they didnt. I love the car, I wont be going there again. Felt like Rte. 22.....

I got a quote from the dealer for $5500 plus fees for the car I was interested in at 3pm in the afternoon. I came in just after they opened the following morning. All of a sudden they found $2000+ in repairs the vehicle needed. So one of two things happened. They either 1. Don’t inspect vehicles before listing them which is a bad practice, or 2. Get you in there and raise the price. Left an incredibly bad taste in my mouth. Also the repairs they listed would have cost about $800-1200 not $2000 so regardless they were trying to rip me off. Avoid at all costs

Made a 7:15am appointment for an oil change on a new CRV. I called for a status at 10am they still hadn’t touched my car. Called back and said I will come pick up my car they said the were working on it now. I went to the dealership at 11:30am. They lied and still hadn’t touched my car. My service manager was horrible and the customer service was atrocious. No apology nothing. They should be ashamed of themselves. Don’t go here for service.

Genuinely pleased with the recent experience purchasing a new Passport from DCH Academy. From internet sales all the way to the finance department it was smooth sailing. I received an agreeable out the door price via email before arriving at the dealership and the final price did not change once. I was not pushed to purchase a single addon. Its refreshing to be in and out of a dealership in 45 minutes without questioning your sanity. I would 100% do business here again.
