Location4153.US - Old Bridge NJ - 4153,08857-3798,2825 STATE ROUTE 18I was shopping while black in the Old Bridge New Jersey store on November 6th 2021 between 3:00pm-4pm. I was followed throughout the store by Asset Protection associates, one followed me to the bathroom and followed me out of the bathroom. The associate did not use the bathroom but waited for me to use the stall and finish then followed me out the restroom. The associate wore a black and white striped button sleeve shirt and NO FACE MASK. She was Caucasian and I started to record the entire follow throughout the store. I recorded it because I will be pressing charges against your associates and Walmart and immediately after I left the store I called my lawyer. This will be escalated because your company never learn how to treat black people. I didn’t purchase nor touch or move any items, I was in the store with my grandmother and mom letting them do their own thing while I stayed on the phone with my fiancé walking around. I am upset and lost of words of how I was treated. She followed me in the back of the store, to the bathroom, in the bathroom violating my privacy and then back around the store until I had enough and started following her . She never checked out and I know she was Asset Protections because I too was once AP in Union NJ Walmart . I know the rights of the customers have against the store. Very shameful on how Old Bridge Super-center proceeds with AP . You’d be surprised at how many Caucasians and Jewish hide items in their clothes but they aren’t black so it’s not paid attention too. . I have everything on video and I will be proceeding legal harassment charges against your store in Old Bridge and I will blow this event up until justice is served. They will pay for my emotional distress, discrimination, harassment, and hate crime committed against me .My lawyer will be reaching out to you very soon and I will demand the subpoena of video footage from the store as well as using my video recording saved on my cloud from the incident

Nice store manager, helped in refund for mistakenly scanned items even after 2 days.

Loved it. There wasnt anything they didnt have. Including real jewelry. They also have Many brand new handicapped scooters. That was a big plus to me. A supermarket as soon as you walk in. There is even a Subway there in case youre hungry.

Great selection of products. Overall, very well organized. While they do have the self checkout Lanes, which are helpful, they really should have a few more cashiers at the checkouts for customers who have a shopping cart full of goods.

Truck drivers heads up!This place have some kind of deals with local towing company (High King Towing) and if you leave truck on parking lot it will be towed away even though there is no clear sign of “No trucks parking allowed”.Truck of my brother was towed away and he had to pay $1600.Credit card payment was not allowed and had to pay by cash.On hand written receipt was visible that $500 goes to Police$500 to parking lot in Perth Amboy$600 to towing companyGood luck!

Its pretty good place to shop I have never had a problem some shells empty but you find out another stores too it was a Thursday I was surprised that they have seven aisles open so I can get out of there.

2 stars because its Walmart. Dont go there to buy any fresh cut meats or fresh produce. We went here because it was near our destination thought it would a quick and easy one stop shop boy was I wrong bought what we picked up and headed to the next nearest supermarket.

Clean and organized store which is kind of rare in this state and the lines aren’t super long. Products were easy to find.

Its mid summer and they just now stocked the bikes? I was looking for a bike two months ago. This place is always out of everything. And dont bother with the grocery delivery service. Something is always missing or you get someone else order. I ordered a theap coffee maker the one they sent me was used. It still had coffee in it when I opened it. Talk about dropping the ball

Walmart claims they care about their customers and employees... well Ive been both and NO they do NOT. I have not been back to work since I left to go home at 11pm during Tropical storm Ida and I barely made it home and my vehicle was stuck submerged in water. All of this coming home from working at Walmart and no one has called to check on me, or see if I even ever made it home alive! It takes one moment of attentiveness and empathy. I may shop here but Ill never work for Walmart again! Also, to give us no way of communication between at least one person at the job is insane.

They have a very good stock of everything, however, I went to buy a wireless MagSafe charger and it turns out it wasn’t the MagSafe, it was the first gen charger for the iPhone….customer service didn’t give me a hard time thankfully, was able to return it with no issue. My advice to the team, please check the items before you put them on shelf for resale after the event of a return. AND MY ADVICE TO CUSTOMERS, PLEASE CHECK AND MAKE SURE THE ITEM IS IN THE BOX AFTER PURCHASE, IN FRONT OF THE CASHIER. So you know for sure you’re getting what you intended to get. PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW. I hope this message gets through to most people, wouldn’t want to see this happen to anyone else. So customer service, please, open the box to make sure the item that’s being returned is there before someone returns it and you put it back on the shelf for resale…EVEN IF THE CUSTOMER SAYS THE ITEM WASN’T OPENED AND IT LOOKS UNOPENED. The box looked unopened when I got it, so my guess is that’s how the person who had it before me, pulled off the return initially.Thank you and be safe.

I did a pick up from my car and they were nice and quick.

As usual Walmart inventory was completely depleated. This is a common trend among these stores. Overall cleaniness was good.

This was my first time there and I went for the curbside pickup. There are no signs or markers directing you to where the area is. The pharmacy curbside pickup area is right in front and CLEARLY marked. I finally asked an employee that was outside rounding up the shopping carts in the parking lot. He was very helpful and gave me excellent directions to an area way in the back. I was the first customer there and called in and it took 15 minutes to finally get my one purchase. I am VERY SATISFIED with my purchase and with the associates I dealt with.

Filthy, restocking always done during peak shopping hours. Discarded garbage is found everywhere more so than actual product on the shelf. Check out is absolutely torturous whether self check or doomed to be stuck in line with only two people in front. Cashiers are always in training well by evidence of confusion how to open a drawer. Staff is clueless and are more disinterested than I am standing in line. Self check is flawed as staff has to constantly authorize simple transaction. God forbid you have a question several timesI wanted to confirm a price only to have the staff mumble and walk away. Only use the bathroom in an emergency ur mask wont help you. Going to shop online pointless destination. Atleast I have plenty of material to laugh about.

Impossible to get a hold of anyone at this store location. No one answers the phone. There is no option for bakery, so i pressed deli instead and the man who answered insisted that there was an option for bakery, i told him there wasnt and he yelled and said yes there is and hung up. Unbelievable. Horrible experience. If i had known you cant get in touch with the store i would have never placed a cake order with them for a birthday party. Awful customer service.

Huge store that has everything you could need for a great price. The store is very clean and the staff is very helpful. This is one of the best Walmarts around.

By now you noticed nobody working anymore in the store. They hide with their phonesBy now you noticed the shelves are at 50 % capacity.Theres a bag of socks next to nothing on the shelves in the underwear section.They are the wrong size and theres no new ones on the way. Per an employee.

Go to the store to get a trail camera none on shelf, employee scans barcode to see if any are in stock 2 in back wont go find them ok... call next day to store nobody answers phone at customer service... get thru to pharmacy to get me manager and get a manager that totally unhelpful and can tellndoesnt want to be bothered. product no longer in stock. absolute garbage customer service

Better then the walmart were Im from in allentown. Not crowded and no kids running around not being watched. They have a good selection of fishing gear also.

Nice clean store, it seems like the more and more I go into these big box store the less the employees want to help you with anything. They spend more time on there cell phones then working to help people. The bathrooms were clean. They did have what I was looking for but took me a little bit of time to find it. I would recommend this store to everyone but they need to step up their customer service. The self check out is ok but once again you just have people standing around pointing to registers when their time could be better allocated somewhere else I believe.

April 30, 2021Aprox time, 3:30Where do i start ? They had 2 packages of ground chicken, 1 ground turkey and 1 family package of Perdue Chicken Breast.A ton of Hot Dogs.Bakery. No 6 packs of Cupcakes. Tons of 24 cupcake packaged. Tons of sheet cake, and 1 10 inch round cake and 4 5inch cakes.Are you getting the picture ? For a Friday afternoon this is disgraceful. This is a major supermarket.Enough said. Go some place else !

Generally it is a nice store, however, the telephone service and the Internet connection don’t work there on my cell phone. This is crazy, why do you make them cut?! I will not go there anymore, will visit other Walmart in Old Bridge instead.

The self checkout only except cridet most of the time and there is only on register open that is not self checkout that excepts cash and the line is realy long and they dont open an extra lane to help move the line faster and this was around 530pm when alot of people are getting off work and going shopping you think they have more lanes open or at least have the self check out excepting cash but no they do not

This is a great place to shop they seel everythingToys, video games,bikes groceriesFishing equipmentCar batteries gardening supplies and such moreThey even seel groceries and fresh produce here

I use their home delivery service and it is not what was expected. Just know if you order groceries from this Walmart chances are they will forget to put stuff in your order. for the 3 months ive been using this service which cost $10 month they have gotten my order right ONE TIME. so if the idea they convey is you dont have to leave your house. well seems i do every time i order from walmart because the order is never complete. sure they refund you the money but you are still left with items you now have to go out and buy. if it happened once or twice i would not be writing this bad review but it seems they cant get their act together

This walmart is pretty decent, good in stock merchandise, store is kept pretty clean and organize. Parking lot is ample and has three exits, one to route 18 N, old bridge turnpike and Ryders lane.

I could not believe that it is still possible to buy a $10 pair of shoes and they will be as comfy as $50 ones.Bravo Walmart!Peaople, dont be lazy going to stores, support local businesses most of the time you can find better deals than online.

Cashier had attitude checking us out. She had no one at counter in 20 item less talking to her friends looked at our cart of 2 orders said they should of put on regular register. I had 20 items maybe less. My sister maybe 23. No thank you. Just attitude!

The management garbage meaning the the managers they dont know how to do there inventory checks every this empty or when you ask them where its the item they are not sure where it is plus the farmacy thee are so slow and make you wait so long the worst Wal-Mart the one on rt18 in old bridge is the best one

I came here in a pinch today and found everything I was looking for. Wish they carried more hoodies and zip shirts. Other than that, very clean store. I live by the Neptune location, but when I am in the Old Bridge area I enjoy stopping at this location more so. The only issue I experienced today were the sales people near the electronics section who bombarded me about which cell phone service I use. I just think its wrong to have sales like that when people are shopping. And by the way, the tall man today got right in my face and was way too close. His behavior- both verbally and nonverbally were very rude and unprofessional. Please, leave walmart customers alone. Most of us are not interested in providing our own & our neighbors information on other services we use. Bottom line, I dont care or know what my neighbors use and if a customer verbalizes they are not interested- that should be the end of it.

Shows 6 in stock online, get there nothing. Store was absolute mad house completely packed. Breeding ground for covid never seen such a packed store you would have thought it was Christmas.

Ordered online and picked up. Fast, efficient and helpful. I highly recommend the experience.

Well stocked store compared to other walmarts. I always tend to find what im looking for. Also the sales at this store are wild. Same item in the other old bridge walmart on rt18 can vary in price drastically. Always tends to be cheaper at this store. End of season discount shirts, shorts, etc can be had for $1. Also they have a aisle dedicated to clearance merch. Only downside is limited fresh produce and cold grocerys.

Its a 24 hour location, store is always well stocked, clean and friendly for shopping.

I usually shop in store but this time I decided to shop online bcuz I was pressed for time.I dont know who was in charge of filling my order but they said they were unable to find half of my items requested. So I got out of the car and went inside and found ALLL the items they said they couldnt find AAANNDD they were fully stocked on those items so its not like they had low inventory. So they get 3 stars this time bcuz they dropped the ball on this one.

I was picking up a delivery at the pickup center. They had many employees working the center which made it quick and efficient. I was very pleased with all the employees I came into contact with.

I was disappointed to see almost no registers other than self checkout open, and even then every single self checkout was set into card only mode.

Website is not updated with correct data. I visited multiple times when it shows items available but in store the could not find that. Need better integration with technology to reduce public inconvenience.

This is the first Walmart were an associate just looked up at me and just said hi how are you guys doing do you need any help with anything?.I was shocked but pleasantly surprised at the same time.I really like this Walmart because its huge I feel like they have a lot of inventory. I prefer coming to this location rather than the one up the street from my house so an extra 20 minute drive is not too bad I guess

Toy shelves are empty. New stock either never arrives or is late. Card selection is next to nothing. These are just trifles.What really makes me mad is they only have a SINGLE working handicap scooter in the store. Thats unacceptable.

Clean, and has all the items at a decent price you can expect to find in Walmart. Being as it is, I prefer them over Amazon any day of the week.

Worst Walmart I have ever been to had rude staff nobody could direct you if you asked keep in mind one person was actually standing in front of the product some didnt understand English was looking for new jeans also and nothing folded sizes scattered all over and it was early in the day I could maybe understand if it was later in the day poor management poor training

This store is usually pretty well stocked, all things considered (with Covid going on) and is kept pretty clean.
