If i could give them no stars I would. I went in to get my eyes checked and to get new glasses. I had come from Toronto over 2 weeks ago and a I am partially vaccinated. Before the doctor came in the receptionist did a quick check of my eyes, left the room and when she came back told me the doctor refused to see me that could come back in a month because he expected me to quarantine for a month. I have been in Connecticut for close to 3 weeks, completely healthy and we self isolate and the norm is 2 weeks not three or four. So i said fine can you put my lenses in a new frame because my frame broke and i have no glasses to wear. She refused to do that as well. They are rude and unprofessional, dont waste your time or money.

Every aspect of this practice and the staff is superior to any eye care chain. I have had the best experience with the care I’ve received. Did the chains or cheap web providers give me a warranty? No! I will never use Warby Parker, Lens Crafters or any other.

I love Dr. Monya Elgart, and before her, her father was my eye doctor, so you can see that I have been loyal to this practice for many many years. My last visit was, as always, wonderful, until I ordered some new lenses for my frames. Upon receiving them, I was quite pleased, but as soon as night came I started seeing all the lights in double. I went back, and was told by the optometrist that I had not ordered non-reflective lenses. I told her that I wasnt aware that they existed and they had not been offered to me. I told her that the glasses were basically useless to me the way they were, and I was most upset having spent hundreds of dollars on them. I have my own business, and when a customer is unhappy, especially a long-term customer, I will bend over backwards to make it right. Not here, obviously. I will continue to see Dr. Elgart, but the optometrists will never see another order from me EVER! My review is three stars meaning five for Monya and zero for the glasses department.

I got lucky when I found this office online more than a year ago! I first saw Dr. Nikki Yee in 2017 and she was wonderful, patient and a real joy to see. It had been a few years since I had an eye exam and she took her time to make sure all my questions were answered. I just want back for my annual visit and she was just as caring and attentive. I cant say enough about her and the entire team at this office, theyre wonderful and I highly recommend them if youre looking for an eye doctor.

I had my first appointment here a couple of weeks ago and I highly recommend this practice. Dr. Vezzoli is kind and easy going, but very professional at the same time. The exam was thorough but quick, and all of the staff were very warm welcoming. I opted to pick my glasses up in their Guilford office, and as promised, my glasses were ready in 10 business days. My lenses are perfect and I will definitely be back next time I need an eye exam!

Been going to Eye Doctors for many years and have always been very pleased with their care. Professional, friendly, outstanding service with a great selection of frames. Very proactive with their patients on their eye care. Always feel and look good with their eye wear!

I visited Dr. Vizzoli in July 2018 and was greeted by a professional staff and a warm welcome as a new patient. I received a very through exam with “state of the art” technology. I felt informed every step of the way. I also received honest feedback on the frames I selected. Highly recommend!!

I have been a patient for years and always walk away feeling happy. Most recently they hooked me up with (with no pressure) the Crizal Prevencia blue light readers for my daily work on a computer. The glasses are a game changer for me, I wish I didnt wait so long to ask about them. I just ordered another pair today. They also helped me out with transition lens for my outdoors activities. Best money spent overall! Two thumbs up!

Doctors are caring and very up to date technologically and educationally. Staff is hard working and friendly. The Optical has soooo many choices!

I injured my cornea at work and called around to rush into a eye doctor in the area. It was near closing time and many doctors turned me away. I called here and was requested to get myself in as soon as I could, they would be waiting for me! I rushed over and was treated quickly and courteously with compassion and sensitivity. I had to return twice in the next few days to have my bandaid contact removed and replaced. They squeezed me in the schedule every time. Everyone was so efficient, and friendly, also I have to say the women behind the window at check in are so warm and loving! I have now made this office my official eye doctor. I always went to big name commercial places in the past and by comparison this office is absolutely hands down the best around!

Friendliest staff ever feels like a family- not a Doctor

Dr. Monya Elgart is the most detail-oriented eye doctor Ive worked with, and Ive been getting glasses for over 40 years. Complicated prescription correcting for astigmatism, prism, and aniseikonia (different image size in left and right eye). These are by far the best glasses Ive ever had. Thank you! Now I need to use her prescription to get lenses for my FPV goggles.

I recently visited there Old Saybrook location where Dr. Stephanie Liebscher OD and her professional staff did a fantastic job and prescribed me the correct glasses I needed in order to see properly again. I would highly recommend them. Thank you to Dr. Liebscher and the entire staff for doing a fantastic job.

Really good service and nice people. The only thing is I wish they had a bigger selection of frames.

Doctor was 30 minutes late for an appointment no big surprise as most doctors these days are overbooked. However you should have some courtesy and it take personal calls on your cell during the exam in my opinion.
