Absolutely amazing experience first time ever shopping for paint when in there they mixed my color in under 10 minutes help me with all the supplies I needed then actually help me bring them to the car they were all COVID-19 compliant and they all had a great attitude what a great team. I originally wanted a new front door but to my amazement the one I picked was 10 GRAND. Yup. So. I decided to paint my front door. Its fiberglass.I picked a couple colors and went down to Sherwin-Wiliams. When I got to the counter the associate was very helpful. He asked me my project and helped me with the right type of paint and brush (he actually explained the differences in the brushes). I took my 2 different quarts home. Didnt like either one so back to the store. I went back up and he said oh..we dont have samples right now so we have a deal where you can change a color one time for free (@ $36/quart i was happy). So I brought it home. The paint covered beautifully. The brush he sold me worked perfectly and the color was exactly what I wanted. He had even explained the differences, even subtleties, of the different types of paint before I bought it. He was great. The paint was great and I went back the next day and bought another quart to keep for future use because I loved the color so much. I painted a door with 2 sidelights with 2 coats and I only used half a quart and the paint color is very dark. Great coverage. Very happy with my purchase and the customer service.

I witnessed excellent professionalism between Brendon and Chris. I watched both individuals handle an extremely busy store with continuous phone calls in such a calm professionalism. I felt bad that these guys had to go through this at a time that is so crazy but I am pleased to see it did not effect them and their work ethic. Both Chris and Brendon acknowledged every customer (at the time there had to be about 12 people in the store) and answered every call. The store was clean and inviting. Way to go Old Saybrook.

Old saybrook paint store made the color i asked for but it wasnt right so i brought it back they fixed it no problem and no charge!
