If I could give them more than five stars I absolutely would! As a college student (and especially as a woman!) it is hard to find a place that will be as trustworthy and transparent with me, and not take advantage of the fact that I dont know too much about cars yet, but the staff here have been nothing but kind and honest with me since day one. I went in two months ago to get new tires, and as soon as I walked in, I felt 100% comfortable and welcome. I even called them on a Sunday a couple of weeks later about a weird rumbling, and they told me to come in that day and they would have someone go for a drive with me and check it out. I have been in a couple of times since then for various things, and they are always willing to answer my questions, and give me the help that I need. If you have/ are a student in the area who needs car help, I would highly recommend that you call them!

My daughter and I had just finished a college tour of UMaine. We were just getting ready for our 4 hour journey home, when the battery symbol came on in my Jeep. It was a Friday afternoon, and I was worried that I wouldnt find anywhere that could help me out. VIP was very accommodating. They took the Jeep right in (even though they were very busy) and found out it that it was a quick fix connection issue with the battery. No charge. And -- they put air in my tires. We made it home safely. I was impressed by their professionalism and compassion -- and very grateful for their help.

VIP in Old Town is the place to go for vehicle maintenance and tire needs. Excellent customer service, they truly want what is best for you and your vehicle. Honest employees and hard working. Went in just to check on tire prices knowing mine were a bit worn and Pat explained to me that I may want to get some tires sooner than later, not pushy in the slightest and with genuine concern for my safety. He took his time with me and explained how to prevent my tires from this kind of wear in the future and explained how VIP can help. Everything that I had purchased I had a discount on it without me asking for one. On top of all of this, they were able to put on the new tires, do an alignment, plus a couple other things and get me back on the road within an hour! Great people, great service, and great product.

Great customer service. Have had a few oil changes there and only once had an issue beyond anyones control. I had called because the car was leaking oil and they had me come in immediately and found a defective oil filter and got it changed in no time.

VIP in Old Town accurately diagnosed two problems with my seven year old truck. They found the vibration issue was only mud packed in the rear wheels! Obviously these guys could have recommended an expensive fix but took care of the problem with a simple cleaning. I’m grateful and impressed with their integrity.

I could not recommend the Old Town VIP enough! I went in to get some assistance with a tire I had gotten a nail in. I’m not too knowledgeable when it comes to tires, or cars in general, but the employees there made my visit so easy! Within a couple of days, I was on my way out the door with a brand new tire on my car for way less than I thought I was going to be able to get away with! I will definitely be a returning customer. After bringing my vehicle to VIP in Old Town for the first time I was shocked by how well the service was. I was extremely satisfied with the work done on my vehicle. I went in for an oil change and I was all set to pay for one, but I was convinced to wait until the mileage hit. Rather than just waiting for the three months to pass. It was also brought to my attention that my rear tires were almost completely bald, and I was set up with another pair. Great company!

I received excellent service at VIP. Even though they werent able to fix my issue they gave me all the information I needed and told me who could fix it. Pat was super helpful and the customer service was excellent. They even agreed to work with my parts warrantee plan. Ill be coming back for parts and service for sure.

I had a tire rotation, balance, and an oil change scheduled. They were running quite a bit behind, and without asking, they gave me the balance and rotation free. Additionally, they discounted the price of the oil change. Phenomenal service!

I went to Old Town VIP to have the brakes checked on my grandsons car. Pat asked me questions to get a better idea of what was going on with the brakes. He explained that they do a check to see the issue . I scheduled the appointment for the following week. The brakes were very squishy and making noises and I was scared. Tom took the car in the bay and after checking things out completely, the front brakes were shot. He also gave me a list of other items that need attention. I needed to replace filters and lightbulbs . I replaced the filters while there. I chatted with the manager while waiting,very nice man.I picked up the bulbs another day and was in the Stillwater Ave area and John at VIP changed them for me. I went in to Old Town and had the lugnuts tightened by Travis as its recommended after tires removed for service.Next is having a coil fixed and an inspection sticker and all should be golden, knock wood.. Im happy every time I need assistance these days, because Ive learned that the Old Town, Maine VIP is a reliable, excellent place and I can trust their service. They point out the safety issues they might run across, yet I know they dont push services or repairs I might need. Gives me great peace of mind. They have a great policy of free rotations for tires purchased there, and I love how they check the alignment at each rotation.

The staff at VIP auto took care of me very well. Came in with a flat, they told me my options, their recommendations, why they recommended what they did, and gave me ample time to think and decide. Work was done same day as the vehicle was delivered (was towed in), all for a very reasonable price. Extra work that was done was stated in a phone call, ensuring the customer knows exactly why they were charged for what. I had originally came in for a flat, but they were able to identify two broken valve stems on the vehicle, and were able to finally get rid of that stupid tire pressure light! VIP auto has my thanks, they did a terrific job fixing my old mans truck! Special thanks to Paul, Bruce, and the rest of the VIP team :)

Got an alignment done here, the work was done quickly and Ive had no issues so far. Would recommend.

Came in for a second opinion on an exhaust leak and what was originally quoted as an 800 dollar job and needed a whole new exhaust system VIP was able to replace one pipe and fix the whole problem for a fifth of the original quote. If you are girl looking to not get over charged at a garage I 100% recommend VIP!

I havent had my land line phone number for several years. I keep asking them to update my info with my new number. They always say they will and they never do. So when my car is getting serviced I wait ALL day for them to call me when its ready and then never do. They claimed they tried to call me. To this date they still havent updated my Phone number.

Cameron and Anthony and the gang were amazing! We got new studded snow tires and then did some shopping we noticed the pressures were all wonky so before heading home to Milinocket we brought it back with a concern about going so far with them being so crazy, they not only reassured that the tire pressures just need time to adjust over the next 25 miles they went above and beyond by re-calibrating them and bringing the pressures all into sync.It was a stormy ride home and Im so glad they were so good and accommodating us.Well definitely be getting the next seasons tires with VIP! I needed to get my car inspected and they claimed that they had to take my tires off and put them back on even though it wasn’t what I needed them to do. They robbed me of $100 just because they thought they could take money from someone who doesn’t know cars very well. They rob people, don’t go here. There are plenty of family owned car places in the area with amazing and friendly customer service. GO ANYWHERE OTHER THAN THIS AWFUL CHAIN!

100% recommend! I had my car towed to VIP in the morning right when they opened and my alternator and battery were replaced in less than five hours! They are knowledgeable, quick to communicate, and ran enough tests for my car that when I picked it up they were able to give me a timeline and estimated costs for my next repairs!

They were closing at 4:00 and we arrived at 3:15 via a tow truck but Dan and the manager, Charlie, stayed late to get us back on the road. AND seemed happy to help. We had driven our van from GA to ME and while passing through on vacation our alternator started to fail. We were just able to pull in before our van died completely.
