This was the first time I have been in this store for a very very long time. It was well stocked in holiday crafts and decor, the prices were a bit high, considering not everyone has money to spend right now. I however was in there for accessories for jewelry making and that in itself was just about sold out. They were well staffed and they were also training some new employees from what I could gather. But even so, they were still able to ask everyone in the store who looked puzzled, if they needed help in their findings. They are very polite and even greeted us as we all walked in. I would recommend this location for sure.

Use those coupons they make a big difference and service excellent always helpful and nice.

I went to Joann fabric today to purchase a few Halloween decorations. They have a wonderful selection. Also easy parking right in front of the store and an excellent sale on Halloween items.

Helpful staff help me find what I was looking for. They were in stock. Every cash register was manned. I had no problems.

I am thankful we have Joann as our craft store in our rural area just wish it had the selections that their larger locations have.

I thought inventory was quite bare today. Dont know if due to covid or another reason, such as bringing seasonal stuff out.. There was plenty of fabric choices but some other craft items seemed low or out

I was greeted by an employee even though she was putting up stock. She also asked me if she could help me find something. Being a regular shopper at JoAnn I pretty much know my way around this store. When I was ready to check out she stopped what she was doing to check me out.

I needed a last minute item for a cake I had to do. I looked online, the website there were 3 available in the store. I called ahead to be sure it was there. Sara answered the phone and was the most patient, courteous and polite person I have ever talked with on the phone about an item. I explained I found it online and just wanted to be sure that it was in stock before I drove 22 miles. Within seconds she was back on the phone with me and was willing to hold it for me until I arrived. She also checked out my purchases. Again she was very courteous, patient, and a very polite young lady!!! Thank you again Sara....

I was looking for a specific item but they didnt have it . . . The store associate was extremely friendly, suggesting to look at other similar items - as well as checking for it online if Im able to! My visit was extremely pleasant all the way around!

Wide variety of crafts Goods. Go to place for all holidays from Christmas to Halloween and everything in between. Prices are great and many things are on sale. Best place in the Olean area to get Fabrics that are inexpensive. If you are a craft person this is the place to go.

I like the craft selections, I couldnt find what I was looking for in material to sew into things that I wanted to make. They have a nice selection. Very little for boys. I do things for 4 boys and 2 girls . My grandchildren. I wanted to make bed spreads, In the things that interested each child. Limated. I found material but nothing I would use. I checking other locations. I want wash and ware material. They had mostly out dated fabric.

I love joanns! I always get such helpful suggestions when Im there. I particularly like the one in olean N.Y.. The wonderful older associate at the cutting counter is so experienced. I am always relieved when I see her working.

It has become harder and harder to find the items you need for your crafts at this location. The store has become more about selling finished crafts than selling items for you to do your own crafts. In the meantime the items have become more and more expensive. It is a wonder why people are turning to the internet for there craft needs when stores are making it impossible to buy local.

They are not allowed to ask you if you have any coupons, in case you have forgotten. Bad.

Paints were all on rack marked 5 for 5. In actuality very few were that price. Felt. Like i got taken at checkout

Very often I leave without finding what I was looking for. This being the only craft store in town, one would think theyd carry more. On top of that, Ive been treated in a less than friendly manner, and told that I needed to look for the items that I was inquiring about. If I can get something elsewhere, I make sure to do so. I hate giving my money to a company that doesnt go above and beyond to make their patrons feel welcome.
