I dont understand the point in self check out if they only want cards due to coin shortage!! You can go to a regular register and its totally fine. Plus people that work here at Springville arent very nice or helpful in the front area.

Listen, no one is a true fan of Walmart but at the end of the day when you need toilet paper, milk and socks because your current socks have your toes playing peek-a-boo.. that trip to Walmart to buy everything in one stop is.. well.. its convenient. Sure its crowded with your town mommas that are comfy with going out in their pajama pants and slippers, btw as you judge, may have a half a dozen kids at home and just dont have time to meet your standard of viewing pleasure. But, just walk in, buy your needs and go home. Walmart to me is handy, easy and as long as I min my own business can be a pleasant visit. Quit complaining folks.

This is the closest Super Walmart to where I live. They have a huge selection of goods. Theyre deli and bakery are decent and the produce is generally pretty good too. Overall, decent place to shop.

Its Walmart.. I was there an hour before closing, the staff announced every 10 minutes that they were closing soon. I felt very rushed, staff was not very helpful, it seemed they just wanted you to make your purchase and go home. As typical, there were no cashiers, its all self checkout..In the end I got what I wanted, but wasnt too happy with the experience. Theres definitely better places to spend your money that are local businesses.

I mean everyone knows what walmart is how can you review it besides based off of staff and cleanliness and both of those are okay at this location. like many places at this time though there are more empty shelves than normal.

Average Walmart. Decent stock of most items. Nicely stocked grocery section. Variety of plants and other things in the garden center. Conveniently located close to old navy, home depot, the movie theater, old navy, and a few other places.

Olean ny Walmart supercenter is awesome alot of stuff thats affordable here shop walmart today be safe and healthy too

Got the jeans I wanted! All grills were put together. None in the box I wanted! Wouldnt fit in my vehicle already put together! Have to figure not everyone has a truck!! At that time.

Like most walmarts, has what you need and is organized. Staff seemed very nice as well.

Insane lines! Only 2 registers open. One whole section of self-checkout closed. Lots of empty spots on shelves. Most of the customers in the store were waiting in line to check out. The aisles practically empty compared to the registers.

Im not a fan of the Olean, NY Walmart. Due to restricted parking you cant get within a safe distance to the entrance at night when there tends to be reasonable concern for safety and theft. While some staff go out of their way to help you, others go out of their way not too be helpful for example my diabetic child was crying she had to pee, we needed to also check her BG but the guy cleaning the bathroom insisted she wait. This wasnt a wait situation, after still waiting 12 min. I literally run to the parking lot where she peed herself and her numbers over 250. When someone tells you they have a medical problem, would it be so terrible to give them rest room usage or is it more important you continue to change toilet paper rolls? This particular Walmart has a lot of issues with how some staff treat people, theres a Walmart near East Buffalo not half as rude and inconsiderate as some of the staff at Olean Walmart. Go to Jamestown or Springville, You can even go to Hamburg although that one is a different kind of rude (snooty but not lacking safety nor priority). Although I admit this Walmart has gotten better since November 2020, its still not a first choice Walmart. Also check receipt this Walmart charges a 2nd tax, not all Walmart stores charge it, this one does. Its actually a shame because the stores in the same plaza have some great employees. Oh, BUT lets reward those that are great, Olean Walmart has an older gentleman door greater typically on the food side. Very friendly. They also have a younger stock boy that gives my daughter a dumdum every time we see him, shes a diabetic but the gesture is truly outstanding. Theres also a younger female in the self check out conveyer belt area very happy to help with a smile and quick. Those 3 should be the model employees of the store. Other than that, good luck.

Besides the mask police... Its decent. They usually have what I need. I have been doing the online pickup at store shopping and thats great! Great customer service. Always friendly workers that bring the groceries to your car. Recommend that 100%

Good prices. Some grocery shelves not stocked. No water.

No plastic bags. No small paper bags. Just big brown paper bags with no handles that we had to pay for.

Always a decent amount of registers open including self checkouts makes my time in the store less stressful

Its your typical Walmart supercenter. It was clean. The staff went above and beyond in helping people, I noticed this with a few different customers.

Good but most of the time dont have what I need..the cashier are ok but the manegers and some people on the department store they give bad acctitute went u ask for help..

Nothing like calling ahead to find out if they have a product you need they tell you that they have plenty only to get there and they have none..very disappointed

New employee in the electronics section was friendly and efficient. She was getting direction from her trainer and didnt miss a beat.

Ever since the pandemic started, this store is very busy, but the shelves are half empty. I never get everything on my list here, and have to go to other stores to finish shopping. The staff here are friendly and helpful.

You have to scan your own items and buy your own paper bags. Three of the bags ripped apart when I went to put them in the cart from the checkout counter. So, you can only fill the bags about halfway for them to be useable. Would not be shopping here if I had a choice to shop elsewhere.

Come here all the time, usually has what Im looking for. Employees are usually very helpful and sweet. Could definitely recommend:)

Have what you need or want for a good price

Usually a good supply of produce. Pharmaceuticals, and everything else you would expect at Walmart. They have several self check outs. Which Im not fond of. Usually a staff is nearby if you have a problem. At least these check outs are so sensitive like some are if you pass your hand or sleeve over scanner like some models. Cleanliness is ave to above average. Ive been at other locations where you walk in and it looks like a war zone. Not so here. Staff are usually friendly and helpful

Much better environment now that they have remodeled and opened up the floor plan more. They do have an issue with teenager employees hiding in aisles texting on their phones. 😂 But I guess work ethics are just suffering as a whole across the board. You’d think with all of their surveillance systems they’d address this money-burning loss, but then again if you’re Wal-Mart you likely have money to burn. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

Disappointed, I went to the self checkout and after ringing up all my items, I found out it was credit card payment only. There were no signs indicating that and the clerk monitoring the area never said a word until I asked. I checked with the front end manager and she told me they couldnt put signs up about credit card only. What is that about and why no signs, it makes no sense!

Went to the auto shop in the Olean Walmart to have a tire leak looked at. I bought the tires there and road hazard warranty. Got to the counter and asked to have my tire looked at because it was flat and the low tire indicator came on. I was asked if I had an appointment which I replied no. Was then told that without an appointment they cannot look at it. It takes less that 5 minutes to look at a tire for a leak. Not only was I turned away, but they didnt even offer to put air in the tire u til I could get it looked at. What a bunch of clowns. Some people have no business being in retail.

I dont give 5 Stars because nothing is perfect but they are so nice at the Olean, New York Walmart Supercenter, they get 4.8 stars. Because of CoVid-19, we have been using the app and Grocery Pick-up. When they could still use plastic bags, they would bag the like items together. Now that bags are no longer used, they put the cold and frozen food in the cooler and they still put the like items together in the bin.

Usually fairly crowded. Hard to get in and out quickly. The employees are usually friendly,if you can find one.

Mask mandates are still a thing. Nobody wearing a mask, and I can guarantee that maybe half of them were vaccinated. But it’s whatever, I wore my mask and kept my distance.

There is no set policy on who packs groceries when you go through a regular checkout. Some will pack your bags and some wont. Makes me angry

Grocery pickup service is great to have! Always something either out of stock or needing substituted. Store shelves are not well stocked anymore. Dont have this problem in Tops Market.
