Had a hog and steer recently butchered here. Place is clean, the staff is friendly and turn around time wasnt real long. This go round they botched both animals. Certain cuts are worse than others. In the past they have done a good job, but the quality just wasnt there this time. (4th animal Ive taken here) Twice now Ive spit out little shards of metal, no idea if it came from here or the kill guys equipment. The metal doesnt bother me as much as the sub-par quality of the cuts. We butcher about 4-6 animals a year and after these last two, Ill pay the extra and make the drive to Orville.

Extremely helpful. I am here in CA from IN. I require a special diet my Dr. recommends. The people here where so helpful in getting the cuts I needed at exceptionally good prices. You can go wrong with these folks, I highly recommed them.

Clean and friendly environment. I wasnt too sure what I wanted and the fella behind the counter made some helpful suggestions. Ended up with bloody Mary marinated ends that were seriously some of the best cuts of steak Ive ever had in my life. I will definitely be back for more!

Great place to get top end cuts and pre-seasoned meat. Wasnt really a fan of prime-rib Roast in general but holy cow its about the best piece of beef Ive ever Had. I do a 2-3hr smoke then finish it off hot.

Always have great cuts. Staff helpful and always have good advice. The prices are also reasonable considering how much care is taken in prep Im surprised things are not more expensive.

Best butcher shop for miles and miles. Owners and staff are very warm and helpful. Award winning bacon and sausage, need I say more? We get our seasoned Prime Rib from them around the holidays and its always Choice Prime plus!

Meat appears to be good quality but it is not affordable for the average family. We barely get by .. this is not a store I could afford. Which is a shame.. I was prepared to spend money but I would have only been able to get a couple pounds of meat. With 5 kids, I need large amounts. I cant afford 20.00 for chicken thighs that woulds cissy 6.00 shoes the street..its just not study...kids. good looking shop though

Excellent selection and great prices!! The customer service is great as well, all around its the best butcher in town! I go out of my way to shop here on grocery day because the prices are on par with the grocery stores but the quality is miles ahead.

There is simply no substitute for a good butcher. We found these people at the Farmers Market in Yuba City and have been loyal customers ever since. The meat is great quality, the employees are friendly and knowledgeable, and the establishment is clean.

The award winning bacon is mouthwatering, and the marinated products all have a special place in my heart, and on my grill. I drive all the way from Sacramento to fill my freezer with these tasty treats--do NOT sleep on this local gem.

If you buy their box deals its the same price as the big chains but the quality is way higher. Way worth the extra stop to get high quality meats while benefiting a small local buisness.

This is an awesome butcher shop. Just wish it was open when I can go there on a regular basis. I work M-F 8a-5p, and they re not open on weekends...so nearly impossible to shop here unless youre a stay at home mom.
