My wife and I worked with Doreen Bliss at Cabinet Discounters in Olney. Working with Doreen throughout the process of designing, ordering and installation of cabinets for our kitchen was a pleasure. She conducted herself very professionally. Importantly, she was able to share a vision for the kitchen which we didnt have and which went well beyond in design and scope than our own vision of what the kitchen could look like. Given that the cabinet layout and measurement were a critical aspect of renovating our kitchen, Doreen handled this critical aspect of her work perfectly, including accurately measuring; perfect installation was proof. Although one cabinet had to be ordered twice because of damage in shipping, this slight delay was outside of Doreens control. I highly recommend Doreen and Cabinet Discounters in Olney, MD.

I was just at this store with a friend of mine todaybecause I had an appointment later on and the Olney location was much closer than my friends cabinet discounters, in Columbia. We were both mentioning the fact that the woman sitting at her desk in this store (who was not with a customer) didnt offer to help us or anything once she found out that my friend was working with a gentleman in Columbia. Because of that, I would actually drive to Columbia myself instead of going to the Olney store, which is 6 minutes away. I think that employees should represent their store and this showed me that she represented herself more. If we had a question, she would politely answer it, though, and I dont want that to be misunderstood.

We worked with Dave at Cabinet Discounters when we redid our master bath and kitchen. He provided great service and we found him to be very professional and easy to work with. He was quick to get back to us if we had any questions and even traveled to meet us at another store at our request. Cabinet Discounters has a nice showroom and an excellent selection of cabinet woods and styles. You can even purchase your hardware and counter tops there! The cost was a little higher than we anticipated, but we knew wed get a great product. We would definitely work with Dave and CD again in the future.

We worked with Claudia Gillespie at Cabinet Discounters in Olney, based on the recommendation of two friends. Our kitchen was a big project in that we were not only getting new cabinets, but taking out an interior wall, adding a new opening, and moving the sink to an outside wall. Claudia had great ideas and showed us many options for the space. Together, we were able to create exactly what I wanted. The move of our kitchen sink to the outside wall opened up our kitchen, creating so much light and space, along with a great peninsula for prepping and entertaining. I love the entire makeover. The knowledge and suggestions that Claudia provided were invaluable, from the cabinet recommendations down to the detailed review of our design to ensure every consideration. Her experience and portfolio provide a range of ideas when exploring what will work best for you. The delivery was timely; the cabinets both beautiful and high quality. Claudia was so easy to work with and both fair and patient, all the while pushing to reach our timeline for the kitchen makeover. We renovated our kitchen in March 2017. We couldnt be happier. Our designer was Claudia Gillespie. She was professional, accessible and had good ideas. She listened to our ideas and revisited the designs many times. She easily coordinated with our contractor and other vendors. Thanks to Claudia and Cabinet Discounters for helping us to get our dream kitchen.

Claudia Gillespie from Cabinet Discounters in Olney did an excellent job for our familys kitchen counter remodel. We actually had been talking about replacing our worn-out counters for about a year when we finally pulled the trigger. From the first day we walked into the showroom until the project was completed, Claudia made the entire process simple and painless. She showed us the multiple options available at that first visit and allowed us to even take samples home to get a better idea of what we might feel comfortable with. Later, after deciding on a color and material, she drew up a contract and arranged for the entire install as well as suggesting locations to purchase our new oven top and sink. She also arranged for the hook-up of the oven and the sink install. Painless! And the results were everything we had hoped for. Great job! Thanks again!

We first used Cabinet Discounters in 2011+- and where extremely happy with the service we received from Claudia and CD. She is great to work with and has a ton of patience! Our first project was redoing our existing kitchen using the same footprint. Claudia listened to our wants/needs and addressed everyone of them. Our 2nd project was a major renovation which we just completed in the Summer of 2017. Claudia took the time to work with us, make suggestions modify plans as needed. I can tell you now, that we are 100% satisfied customers. I spent a great deal of time looking at other companies but I never got the same feeling as I did with working with Cabinet Discounters and Claudia. The quality of the cabinets is great and I am thoroughly enjoying my new kitchen.

My search for cabinets did not begin here, but after weeks of research and visiting tons of showrooms, I will be always buying from Cabinet Discounters. WENDY! WENDY! WENDY! is the best of the best when it comes to all aspects of customer service. She literally with no expectation of me shopping with her, went above and beyond to make sure I got what I needed. She not only called several distributors but also made sure it was within my budget. If you looking for cabinets and a great experience ask for Wendy Ames! I wish there were more people like her.

We totally remodeled our kitchen a year ago and are loving it. Wendy was wonderful to work with - knowledgeable and very patient with all of my questions.

Do not recommend. We had one section of cabinets around our fridge replaced and it has been a long and extremely frustrating process. They have come out to our house on three separate occasions, and for such a small project. The incorrect cabinet door was brought for installation, a panel was damaged, the cabinets were incomplete for over a month (with no trim, among other things). When the correct door was finally received, they incorrectly cut space for the hinges, yet continued with installation until I pointed out that the door was already splitting because the space for the hinges was not large enough. There has been zero follow-up from office staff/project managers throughout this entire (FOUR month long) process. Each time we have reached out, after not receiving any sort of follow-up for several days, even when we were promised a follow-up call. Zero sympathy extended from their team regarding our numerous inconveniences and frustrations. I understand things happen, items get damaged, etc. but when spending thousands of dollars, it is unacceptable to receive the level of customer service we have received.Update from when this was first posted 3 months ago: it’s now been 6 months since we’ve paid them in full, still our project is not complete, due to several mistakes and lack of communication.

Choose them because local. We were greeted by Dave and he took us around while we choose what liked. Made an appointment for an estimate. He came took measurements and we never heard from him again. I called 2 weeks later and he said he was working on the final estimate after he lost the first copy. Called us a week later but we had other estimates and his was not that great and I felt he did not care so we did not use . Would not go back and use Dave as his lack of concern made us feel that our project was not important. If you use them in Olney, do not get Dave!!!! Only giving it 1 star so can post!!!

I enjoyed meeting with Dave as he helped me adjust designs to get the exact space we wanted for our kitchen. The cabinets came in pretty fast, but we had some issues with the warehouse & then a misunderstanding between the delivery guys & the installer which set us back a few days. The cabinets themselves are really gorgeous & Dave made picking out the interior organizing super easy as I only had to tell him what I wanted. We got 3 quotes and I was most impressed with CDI & Olney was very convenient. We were able to do a lot of details over email. They didn’t have samples of the style I wanted, so they designed it & got it perfect! I love our new kitchen & couldn’t be happier with the end result. Although there were a few snafus, Dave was always there to help Work them out. I would definitely recommend CDI Olney.

Wed gone with Cabinet Discounters to build a vanity for us a couple years ago, so when it came time to redo our entire kitchen we knew where to go. A total tear-down and rebuild followed, and we couldnt be happier with the results. The planning with Dave was a breeze, and the coordination between CD and their partners (Appliance Distributors Unlimited, Jaffe Electric, Creative InCounters, Hallmark Tile and Marble Co., and Carpet and Things) was fantastic. We now have an island, much more counter top area, great lighting, and loads of extra cabinet space. Sure, a few hiccups along the way like in any major project, but well worth the wait and at competitive prices. Would highly recommend.

I recently completed a complete renovation of my kitchen and am totally satisfied with CDI. I worked with Wendy Ames, formerly at the Olney store. She was superb. I took a lot of time designing what I wanted, and she was very patient and creative and open to my many changes of mind. The actual installation went very smoothly. Everything was of high quality and the technicians were very skilled and collaborative. As with any project of this size, there were a few points that did not go as planned. Nevertheless, CDI responded immediately and got everything back on course. After the final walk through, CDI came back with a very talented technician who finalized all that was needed. The kitchen looks great, and everything works perfectly.

I ordered a entertainment center from Cabinet Discounters(CD). I received the unit and was exactly what I wanted. I realized there was room for another shelf. I called my CD salesman and asked if a shelf could be ordered. He said yes and would call the company and get a price. He called me back and told me the cost. I paid for the shelf and CD would install it. I received a call from CD on Monday, November 28th informing me the shelf was ready for pickup. I told the man that CD was supposed to install it and not to be picked up by me. He said he would talk to my salesman. Tuesday, November 29th no word from CD. Wednesday, November 30th I called my salesman and told him about the call on Monday. He said it was on the work order to be installed by CD. He would check into it. Thursday, December 1st, no word from CD. Friday, December 2nd I called my salesman to check on status of shelf. He said he would check and get back with me. He called back and asked me if I had heard from Lisa. I said no and he said she should me calling me to arrange an install date. NO WORD from Lisa or CD.. Saturday, December 3rd still no word from CD. At this point I am really fed up with trying to get a date for the shelf installation.. It makes no sense that CD cant communicate BETTER. After all COMMUNICATIONS is a two way street...No more calls from me to CD, thats it.....
