Constructive feedback to the management of this store in Olney MD.1. How can it cost $175 to send 2 framed pieces of art (size roughly 20x24) from MD to California? Considering I had 6 pieces and was told that you could only package 2 at a time, it would have cost me $525 to ship all of them.2. If you are serving a customer and your fellow associate behind the counter is having an issue with their client (the associate was clearly unprepared for her job as she had issues with 2 consecutive customers) dont walk away from the person you are serving. Wait until you are done with your transaction. I waiting in line and it was my turn to be serviced. Waiting while you helped 2 other customers was not the right way to handle the client flow.Time to go to FedEx

The guys that work at the Olney UPS store are always extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I’m always more than a satisfied customer when I leave the store. I am confident whatever I’m trying to accomplish will be done. Excellent customer service with service with a Smile.

Sergio and the other employees are always polite and friendly, and they even recognize me as a regular despite the mask. Yesterday my wife went to our box at the Olney store and there was no mail, but an employee offered to look through the mail that had just arrived but hadn’t yet been put in the boxes. No mail for us, but Sergio asked “How’s Frank?” Then the reason for this post, today Diana from the Olney store called and left a vm msg saying we’d received the piece of mail we were expecting and it was in our box. Now that’s impressive that she remembered our name and box number, AND that she took the time to reach out! No, I don’t expect that all of the time, and no they can’t do it for everyone all of the time. But it’s a reflection of their commitment to friendly, professional service. 5 stars again!

Went to try to print a mailing label. I was told it would be $4.50 for 1 page of printing. The guy working said the owner requires a $3 surcharge for printing and that the printer in the main area does not have access to a USB port either. I am used to be able to print 1 page B&W for $0.15 at other office stores for both UPS and Fedex. This place is a rip off.

Went into this location after making an appointment for notary services. Drove 40 minutes to take my elderly, disabled father there for a POA document. The manager Sergio was the one who served as notary. After gettingHome and sending the documents, got a response saying the notary forgot to sign his name in one place. Had to drive 40 minutes back to get this corrected, after calling to make sure he’d be there, waited in a line for 20 minutes when he could have pulled me up and signed in two seconds, and on top of it all didn’t even bother to apologize for the extreme inconvenience, especially since I paid for the service. To top it all off I asked the store owner to call me, and of course haven’t heard from him and I’m sure I never will. Will never use this store again!

Always the highest level of service and they are always working hard. Whether its one person in line or 10. And they will do whatever is needed to ensure your satisfaction with their service!

If I could give less than 1 I would - theyre always nasty and rude - today they told me to use envelopes for some mailings - no prices on anything - when I get to the counter they want to charge $40.00 for what the post office does (and does better) for $18.00 - I said never mind then he charges me for the envelopes they told me to use - and says because I sealed them - again no sign- no prices - no directions re not sealing - just a nasty rip off

This UPS store is usually extremely friendly and accommodating. Once I got a kind of grumpy fellow who wasnt all that but I never saw him again. They can be counted on to always do a great job of returning my stuff to Amazon, particularly (without a label). Id give them 5 stars.

Best service all the time

I came in to do Amazon returns which I normally do. I return the packages in the original amazon boxing which they normally thank me for. Today I handed another man a box to return and he handed me back the box I was returning it in and said they don’t need it but refused to dispose of it for me and said no. Poor customer service.

Very disappointed with the lack of communication from the post master, Preston. I had a package that was “delivered in or at mailbox” and when I checked the mail it wasn’t there. I gave it a day or 2 before contacting the USPS customer service line because whoever does our route sometimes gives us the wrong mail so I assume it happens pretty regularly and thought one of the neighbors would have returned it to us. That is not the case . I received a phone call from Preston on 4/12/21 with him stating he was going to follow up with the mail guy and he would let me know the following day. 2 days go by with no call from him so I reached out and he said he checked with his driver and couldn’t find it but will keep researching it and will call me the next day, Thursday 4/15, and he did not call. I called Friday 4/16 and spoke with him and he was like “still haven’t found it huh?”. He then said AGAIN he was going to call me back but he didn’t. I called him on Wednesday 4/21 and he told me I need to see if the package was insured in order to get a refund for its contents which I partially get but with the lack of communication seems I’m not a priority. I will be contacting USPS again and see if they can do anything.

UPS Olney provides an excellent service. I have been there many times and my experience has always been good! Whether it is mailing items to places within the U S or overseas or printing or faxing documents or making prints from photos I have taken with my cell phone, the results have been good. We are fortunate to have a UPS store in Olney!

These guys are great! I had a very last minute request to have a few stickers made to finish my son’s Halloween project. They were able to create and produce exactly what I needed in a short period of time. They were very helpful and it made my sons Halloween night.

The UPS Store always accepts my packages with returns from Amazon and Zappos. I only have to tape the mailing label to the package and leave it on the desk for them to mail. I appreciate this service very much and have not encountered such good service at other UPS Stores. The one in Olney is staffed by good people and I have never had a problem even when I had to wait in line for another service such as printing and faxing. They do good work.

Passing through town and needed to drop off a package. They were so gracious in taping up my package even though it’s not something they normally do. Very nice people and customer service!

I went into my local ups store to drop off a return. The clerk told me I couldn’t use the same packaging the item had come in. His name is SERGIO. I guess I looked frustrated that I’d have to go home, re- package the item and make another trip to the ups store. SERGIO suggested I buy a padded mailing envelope which they carry and he transferred the item and the address label and within 5 minutes everything was taken care of. Amazing customer service! Thank you SERGIO!!!

The staff were friendly, but their pricing was beyond outrageous. I totally expect to pay for the convenience factor but they wanted over $115 to pack and ship a laptop to Pennsylvania via ground. I did the same thing myself for $60 (including the box, shipping and packaging ).

Sent a Mother’s Day gift to Long Island on 5/7/20. It arrived overnight which was a huge surprise. Very thankful it’s early. Thank you UPS, Olney MD❤️

I have always gotten timely excellence service at t he Olney UPS store!

Paid through the nose for two day shipping, item I ordered is still not at my commercial destination after two days. I called UPS and they say they have suspended refunds because it is out of their control. The two day shipping package spent a day traveling 80 miles from their location in Newbury Park to Ontario CA. If it is out of their control then dont offer and make me pay for two day shipping. UPS 2nd Day Air A.M. guarantees delivery on the second day by 10:30 AM or 12:00 PM, but only for commercial destinations within the mainland United States. UPS 2nd Day Air Freight is for shipments over 150 pounds that need a guaranteed time-definite 2 day delivery to Puerto Rico, Canada, and the mainland United States. Apparently not, take UPS guarantees with a grain of salt.

Notary noticed that we didnt have enough money to pay for the documents we needed and changed the total to accommodate what we had. Very nice and prompt service.

Honestly never have I ever felt like such a valuable customer by Ronny. He was so understanding and accommodating. They should make him employee of month if they have that program. I had came in 1min before closing time for an urgent print of my health insurance card to been seen at RightTime across the street. I had bronchitis and was able to get the care I needed in time thanks to that print job.

They provide good service except for one issue that troubles me. I had a wine club deliver wine quarterly. They charged me per box ($5 or $10). This is in addition to the UPS cost for shipping. So, they made money above and beyond the UPS charges. This to me represents another example of a business creating a venue for additional made up profits at the expense to the customer. I changed the delivery to the BP gas station in the area that accepts and sends UPS deliveries for free.

I walked into the store today to ship a package out. There was one employee helping a customer and the other was folding papers. The employee with the customer asked if I already had a shipping label and if I did I could just drop the package off. Unfortunately I did not, I stood waiting for about 10 minutes and other customers started coming in as well. The employee folding the papers did not budge. He got annoyed that he had to help a customer and began to curse as he moved the papers off the desk in the front and moved them to the back. Not very good customer service. At least try and curse under you breath not out loud. Sorry, if you don’t like what you do. Find something else to do. Plain and simple. I’ll be going to a different store next time I need to ship something out

Bad costumer service!Had to go to UPS twice this week. Once, on Wednesday, to send a package, another, on Thursday, to take passport pictures.Both times I went in, it seems that the guys there really hate their job... treating customers with an unprofessional attitude. Each question was answered with a mumble, no eye contact nor the desire to actually help customers. Went in to take passport pictures, told me to sit down, did not mention when he was taking the picture till he walked way. Printed pictures with my eyes closed... can’t have my eyes closed on a passport. Proceed to charge me before asking how many pictures I would like. But I gave him a break, till my wife took her pictures... again very unprofessional and always with the attitude of not wanting to help nor wanting to be there to be honest. That’s when I gave up and walked to rite aid where the lady took nice, clear, professional passport pictures for half the price.UPS needs to hire people who actually want to work and help costumers, not slowpokes with attitudes of entitlements. Never going back

Went to get something notarized. The clerk started helping me then helped someone else before finishing with me. I spent an additional 15 minutes in the store for a 2 minute process because she chose to help the person that came him behind me.

Weve gone to them for various jobs within the past year: for shipping documents, notary work, sending faxes, and pickups, and have found them to work efficiently and in a businesslike manner. Their prices have been reasonable. We will continue to use their services as long as they maintain or improve the quality of their work.

Tried returning a prepaid box back to Verizon through the Olney store. Was told they do not return to Verizon anymore and we showed them the prepaid shipping lable. Manager then said Oh we arent allowed to tape the boxes any more.🙄fine...took the box to the Muncaster Location and lady there was Oh shipping to Verizon? She took box put tape and shipping lable and scanned the package. Few minutes late I get email from Verizon saying thank you my package has been received. I will be reporting you to Verizon next 😒

I would give this location no stars if I could. The staff is not only rude, but they are petty. I came into the store a couple of weeks ago to mail off a small unsealed package. The manager has the audacity to charge me a dollar for a small pice of tape. I have never had a good experience at this location! I dont know how they stay in business.

My printer has not been working so I have used these folks for all my printing needs. The guys are not only very professional, but extremely cordial.

Brought in a box of books to ship. The box was covered with brown paper. They wouldnt accept it citing liability reasons. They stated it needed to be in a shipping box. I went home and put it in a sturdy shoe box completely sealed with tape. Went back. They said they wouldnt accept it again. I had the worker call UPS customer service to ask about whether or not they could accept the box. The UPS rep said yes as long as it was sealed. The worker asked 5 different ways. The rep answered YES 5 times. The worker got off the phone and said she wouldnt accept the box. She called the franchise owner, John Lim, and asked him the same exact question. He said, very curtly, we wont accept it and hung up. Absolutely, no common sense in this store. Its a box of books, not a glass vase. Ive dealt with the owner and this store several times, only to have been let down by their customer service time and time again. They do not care about their customers and are extremely petty. Hands down just awful people there who want to cover their a$$e$.

The staff were friendly. They asked if I had an AAA card which resulted in a 10% discount.

Not shocking, considering the reviews but they wouldnt even tape up an Amazon return. Every other UPS store Ive been to does it as a courtesy. 2 dollars too. Avoid.

This store just sent me a 3x3 foot box and used thousands of pink packing styrofoam peanuts to pack the contents. I mean thousands. I have just filled a giant leaf bag with these peanuts and I need to get another bag. It has taken me 1/2 hour to get this far and then when I am done I need to pick up the shreds of pink peanuts remaining. In addition this packing material is totally bad for the environment to dispose of. What should I do with them all? What a disappointing mess.
