We learn everything in life by experiences and comparisons. From our daily life from our parents to school and work, etc. etc.If we don’t know love we wouldn’t know hate, hot and cold – we live in the world of duality.Good is followed by the bad and so on.When I decided to buy my first motorcycle after not riding for 15 years, if had to be the Kawasaki Vulcan Vaquero. That was the motorcycle I have wanted for a long time. That is when I went to that other shop. And not had a great experience there – just felt like another walking money bag for people, who wanted to sell me stuff and didn’t really treat me as part of their family. Then I was looking for a motorbike for my girlfriend and happened upon South Sound Honda and Suzuki, where I have met Conner. We went back and forth about bikes and such and couple of them stood out for me, as far as, a good fit for my girlfriend.Conner gave us excellent intro, but at the time I didn’t feel that I was ready to look at the motorcycles and in general felt like it wasn’t the time.Just recently, I decided that I was ready to try out a new bike that may fit my girlfriend and ended up taking a couple of them for a test ride. Which ended up that I fell in love with the Honda Fury, that was projected for my girlfriend, but such was my fate.Conner was exceptionally professional, yet friendly. He made me feel as a part of the South Sound Honda family and that put me at ease and led me to believe that even this large purchase by today’s standards would be honored by the South Sound Honda and to date, they have treated me with respect and commitment to their promise.Lane – thank you brother for looking up those parts and for helping me to want to come back to South Sound Honda back for more.I told Conner that it’s not what you sell to the customer one time – it’s whether this will be a returning customer because they feel valued.Thank you, Conner and South Sound Honda, for adding me on your family list. You did well, which I can’t say about that other shop.O, well sometimes things are just meant to be.But people at South Sound Honda know how to make you part of their family. And I would go there for more.Thank you.Serge.
I had great pleasure working with Conner and the hard working paper work gal She did all the work :) when I was buying my new RZR 570 I was in a rush to leave town and the two were very helpfulDennis
Let me start by saying, my first ever motorcycle purchasing experience was stellar. After comparing 20+ dealerships in Washington, yesterday, I visit South Sound Honda to purchase my very first motorcycle. I called them about a week ago to ask about the bike and Brock, who took my call, provided me with the information I needed in a professional yet friendly manner. At this point, I felt comfortable visiting the store, so I made an appointment with him to see the bike in person. Conner, my salesman, took the time to listen to me and respected my opinion as much as he could. As a young female, I can happily say that I felt very relaxed and comfortable talking to him and everyone else at the dealership. I was never pressured into anything, only informed of all of my choices and options.Additional shout out to Even at the servicing department and Sarah who did my paperwork. They were also very nice, friendly, and professional as well.I also appreciate Conner and Brock letting me leave my bike at the dealership until I have time to pick it up. They could have easily said no since they are not benefiting from keeping a sold bike there.Overall, I had a great time talking to everyone and am so happy I visited South Sound Honda to purchase my beautiful 2021 Honda CBR500R!
I bought the most expensive thing I have ever bought, a 21 razor pro xp 4 ultimate, and Connor helped me through the process every step of the way. I am not that patient so waiting 3 months for my new toy was difficult, but he stayed on top of it, stayed in contact with me throughout the process. I now have it, and it is amazing!!! Also it was nice that Connor himself has a razor, so when it came to questions about the machine or accessories, he was able to answer them. Connor and South Sound Honda/Polaris made the process easy and enjoyable, thank you very much. It was worth the wait!
I had a great experience with the South Sound staff and the salesman, Conner, in particular. I wasnt rushed and didnt feel pushed, which is important to me. I was given the time I needed to come to a decision to pull the trigger on the deal. Excellent job South Sound!
South Sound Honda posted an advertisement on Craigslist on October 16th for a Polaris Ranger . I responded by phone 3 hours after it was posted. I told the salesman that I would buy the unit. He put Me on hold and when He came back on the phone He informed that the price had increased by $3000.00. Needless to say I was shocked! Dealers that engage in these tactics should be subject to fines and or imprisonment! When this crazy environment we all find ourselves in gets back to normal it is my hope that these retailers that have taken advantage of us all will fail! They will have earned it!
Pretty smooth purchase on my Suzuki Boulevard. Sarah in Finance had me in and out on the paperwork nice and quick. My salesman, Connor was great as well, didnt push me or pressure me, he showed me a few bikes and let me make a thorough decision on my own. All in all, I would most definitely do business with South Sound Honda again in the future.
Outstanding customer service!!! Conner went above and beyond to help me during my recent purchase of my 2021 RZR Pro XP 4. His thorough knowledge on the machine and personal experience helped seal the deal. I definitely recommend doing business with them and I fully trust that Conner will take care of you!
My whole experience at south sound Honda was absolutely fantastic. The showroom was very nice and very clean. All the employees I interacted with were very knowledgeable and professional. This was BY FAR the best experience I’ve had with any dealership I’ve been to. They had an amazing selection of vehicles, and very fair pricing. 10/10 would recommend. I will be back very soon to pick up two more new bikes 🖤
Love these guys.great service from everyone there.we recently bought our crf250r from them and now our RZR.every time they make it easy and make things happen for us thank you all for all your help
My bike broke down on the side of a rural road. Had it towed to South Sound Honda after hours, and left a voicemail briefly explaining the situation. Called Evan in the service department the next morning at. 10am to approve repairs. Evan called me back at 1pm to say the bike was ready to be picked up. Couldnt be happier with my experience! 5
Had a tire problem while on a 6000 mile trip. Called ahead to see if the service and parts department had tires and could put them on the bike. No problem, bring it in! Drove 46 miles, bought the tires, and took them to service. Service guys took one look at my machine and said no way, go somewhere else. Went somewhere else one mile away and I would suggest everbody else do that as well. BTW: all this happened in the pouring rain. Fun day....
Kid watched too much whistling diesel on YouTube and decided to take the wheels off the quad and paint the hubs black. When he put them back on he tightened the bolts and ran them down so that it was not flat on the plate. A month or so later they had wore almost totally off and the tire just managed to stay on while we were flying down a trail. Brought the broken parts into South sound they identified them, ordered them and called me when they came in. The whole process was very painless and everyone I worked with seemed to care about their job.
Conner found a bike for me when I was having a hard time. 2021 crf1100 adventure sport with clutch! Brought it in for me and the deal was easy. Worth the time to give him a call!
I called asking what they had for helmets. It seemed reasonable so I made a trip in there to buy a helmet. I walked in and it was not busy I saw maybe 1 other customer in the store and a couple employees but no one offered me any help, greeted me or acknowledged me in any way. I was there for a bit and gave up and went to Paulsons in Lacey where I was greeted right away and had the questions I had answered. I am getting back into riding after a few years away from it and was looking for a place to get gear but I guess that Paulsons is where South Sound Honda wants me to go.
This dealer was incredibly helpful and hassle free, after purchasing a machine from them and has some technical difficulties along the first 100 miles I reach out for help and they been great all along very accommodating very easy going communication was awesome and overall I as a business owner can appreciate Vicky and her team approach to excellent customer service I do believe it’s the key for me stay calm and patient although I had all the reasons in the world to be upset and inpatient due my situation. Great people to work with, fair and professional, on point highly recommended! I’ll keep using them to service my new machine!
Just purchased a 2021 Suzuki V-Strom 650. Conner was an excellent sales men. Shoot the whole team was great. Did not feel pressured at all to purchase my motorcycle. This is my second bike purchased from them.
Nice people, high prices. If you got the money to waste, they are willing to take it. They are knowledgeable, and relatively honest. Might as well understand going in, there are no reasonably price bikes anymore at a dealer. Honda and Suzuki parts and service are obscenely overpriced. Better to go online to like Bike Bandit for parts. Service is going to eat you alive.
Amazing. First, they helped me narrow down a part I needed and even gave me an outside source to order the part as they did not have one on hand. Next, they installed the part when I found myself lacking the expertise to complete the task myself. Great employees from parts service to the mechanics down stairs. Oh, did I mention, next day service to get that part installed? AMAZING!!! Thanks again!
I went there looking for a quad for my grandson. It was almost closing time and the owner of the place was on his way out when he saw me looking at the quads and though he had a couple sales people still on the floor, he postponed his departure to help me out. He was very helpful and that helped me narrow down the quad that would suit my grandson, thank you.
Great customer service. Went to several shops looking for the bike I wanted. Walked into South Sound Honda, found the bike I was looking for, was approved and out the door with my bike in an hour. Thank you for the great customer service and thank you for having the Rebel 500 in stock.
It was awesome. Its been 15 - 20 years since i last saw vicki and got to interduce her to my son who is about the same age as i was when i first met her at port townsend honda. Dale and vicki both are great people
Had a bad experience with another shop was told by a worker named coner that south sound would set us up and we wouldnt have a repeat experience. We own land in Oregon and was told we could be made tax exempt to do our business here instead of Oregon. To our disappointment after driving 65 miles to south sound dealership, we find out that what we had been told on the phone was incorrect, we were told once we had arrived that we needed Oregon state id when we are waving 10k cash in connors face they told us they where unable to help us or adjust the price to counter taxs.....like the other dealership they didnt want the business with cash that badly.
These Guys are the Best. I just had my 06 Honda VTX 1800 full service and New Tires. Evan is a Super Good Guy. Very knowledgeable and explained my service needed very well. Very fair prices for parts and labor. Best Service Department by far I have experienced in 45 + years riding. Will not go anywhere else!
Great place, I recommend you go checkout the shop. Awesome prices and great people🤘🏼
Amazing customer service, people who knew what they were talking about, didnt feel pressured once, even stayed after closing to make sure we got everything set in stone. 15/10
These guys found a part for my moldy oldy 1987 Honda, went out of their way to scout around for it at a reasonable price. Golden, thanks fellas, you guys rock!
Awesome dealer & staff, well be back!
Always the best in friendly customer service, inventory and price. 27 years the owner and his team have taken care of me be it a flat tire and stranded when i was 18 or present day. Top notch.
Usually I have a good experience but this last time they refunded my online order without talking to me and said they tried contacting me. I had talked with someone and made arrangements to get it the next day. However when I called to straighten this all out I got nothing but a rude person and someone very short. I didn’t like this. I chose to keep the refund and find a different place to buy my stuff.
Good shop, a varied selection of new and used bikes, they have a selection of helmets, clothing and gloves.
My all time favorite motorcycle people!
The staff at South Sound Honda were very knowledgeable and helpful. They introduced me to the service department and made sure I was familiar with the bike. I will definitely bring my future business here as well. I would recommend them for anyone in the market for a motorcycle.
Good service, and they are really care about customers.
After a partial diagnostic of my motorcycle, it was deemed that scrapping it and finding a new bike was the only logical choice.I went in to pay for the partial diagnostic, and discovered that they charged me OVER $100 TO WASH MY BIKE!Common sense says that you wash a bike after repairs, replacements, adjustments have taken place - but I told them to stop everything and Id come in on Thursday (today) and decide what to do. So when I showed up today, they told me that I was charged over $100 to wash my bike, when they were not authorized to do ANYTHING but put it in a corner and wait til I got there. They said, sorry, the owner told us to, well then the owner should pay for it and not me.I wont be back to buy a new bike. I will tell everyone everyone I know NOT to go there to buy anything....and if I could give zero (0) stars, I would.
Honestly I’m just disappointed in this dealership. I was supposed to pick up a bike they had listed on their site for 7,999 then last minute when I call them to go pick it up, they jack the price up to 9700! Just another crooked dealership. They definitely are not ever getting me to even consider them again. Don’t waste your time here.
Good shop with a good selection of parts
Passionate and knowledgeable people. Well equipped store. They provide service, parts and sales of the same quality as the Honda product. I drive past several other Honda dealers as the are that good.
Went to purchase a helmet and they were very helpful. Always get great service from this dealer!
Great part department
Quick easy and painless. Great friendly staff and best of all efficient!
Ive bought either a bike, RZR or quad at every bike shop in Olympia over the past 15 years, but never this place. $1500 over what any other dealership in the state is asking for a Polaris Ranger and then theyre negotiating method is to just stop talking to you. Ill be driving out of town to spend my $10k somewhere else today, so much for trying to spend local $$.Ill update this since they responded. Its not apples and oranges. Youre charging freight and setup to the tune of $1500 more than anyone else and whoever I talked with was not willing to look at the military veteran program discount through Polaris. I would have bought from you and paid for the additional accessories, your local, 15 miles from me. I drove 200 miles round trip and saved $1700 by using the Polaris veterans program. If you think your close to what other dealers are asking, youre highly mistaken.
Great place and service people r awesome
Service dept was great. Price for the number of repairs was pretty amazing.
Helpful staff!
I bought a trx250x for my wife. It was super fast and everyone was nice. This is my second experience dealing with south sound and Id definitely recommend it to other
I have had numerous dealings over the past 7 years with SS Honda and their sister company, SB Honda. Nice people, good service, fair prices. Never a negative issue. I have had many vintage bikes serviced, all with great results. And my new bike servicing has always been handled professionally as well. Highly recommended.
Went there to look at a used RZR from out of town, put a $100 deposit down to hold it for basically a week. When we got there they were professional, but not pushy. Vehicle was as described. Though we chose not to buy it, they were super kind and courteous and refunded us our deposit right away without us even having to ask. Overall a very positive experience.
Great service and great people. Highly recommend!
I have a vintage 1982 Honda CB900f supersport motorcycle . It is extremely hard to find parts for. I searched online for brake caliper brake parts to no avail. I went to South Sound Honda and got them in 5 days im really happy. Ill go back there again.
Always treated respectfully when I bring my car in for maintenance. I really appreciate the entire staff here. They always explain everything and let me know what to expect in the future. Never pressured to do anything too soon.
I took my bike in to have two tires installed on my 1987 motorcycle and asked them to give it a tune up I also asked them to clean out the gas tank. It took almost a month to get my bike back and when I got it, the tires had been changed. Took it for a spin and it coughed and belched just like it did before I asked for a tune up. Took it to my mechanic and he took a look at it, he found rust in the gas tank, so he cleaned that out for me, carburetor was completely gummed up, the oil was black sludge and the spark plugs were black. OK... I paid south sound Honda almost 600 dollars for tires, and thats it. I purchased the tires at 200 dollars the rest was labor. They charge an awful lot for labor. They did not give my bike a tune up, if they did it was a piss poor job. I had to pay another mechanic to give my bike a tune up. I wasnt going to say anything about how I was totally ripped off by this store, but when I found out this last thing that they said they did to my bike but didnt do it was the last straw. Take your bike somewhere else for service, as a matter of fact dont take your business to South Sound Honda, they are a rip off.
Gilligan Island is popular at South Sound Honda. Great attitudes along with excellent service in the parts department. Sales has offered a test ride of the blue 2019 honda goldwing tour and I will enjoy that one day soon. Check this location when you can.
Purchased 4 Polaris 570SPs from South Sound. Treated very well by all, from Paul the sales manager working hard for the business, or when I went to pick them up and received excellent knowledgeable help from Sarah in finance, and Michael in the service department. A good experience all the way around.
Friendly & helpful staff!
Nice people to find what bike you might need for your kids or for your self
Bought my 1000S there, wonderful folks. Ran into a problem on Saturday while changing the oil. Called the service department and they got me in first thing this morning and got it fixed. Going to Coos Bay tomorrow Cant say enough good things about dealer. Wonderful sales staff, wonderful service department
Awesome people great service and sales Conner is a great salesman and have lots of great knowledge thanks guys
Not real attentive
Had them put a tire on my Harley Wheel. They called to advise that some damage had occurred. They also tried to resolve the issue. In todays world not many places would step up like they did. Things happen sometimes, but I appreciate what they did and can live with the outcome. I recommend this shop whole heartedly. They have integrity.
Waste of time. I walked in and spoke with a sales associate. I clearly stated my intentions to purchase a specific bike that day with cash in hand. I informed the associate of my budget and what I was looking to pay. I waited 30 minutes to get a quote around $800.00 over my budget with not a single dollar reduced from the price. Not even a military discount. I would have preferred if I was told right away that my expectations were unreasonable and that the bike I wanted was out of my budget. The dealer fees and freight alone were over my budget. I promptly left and went to YAMAHA MOTOR SPORTS OF OLYMPIA, got great service and walked out with a bike under my budget a few hours later.
Great staff thats both friendly and courteous while remaining knowledgeable and professional. Was a pleasure to do business with them. Purchased a Polaris. Have been enjoying it too!
Buyer Beware!!! I gave them one star because I felt they did not treat me fairly in the consignment sale of my Yamaha Road Star. If you sell your bike on a consignment sale BEWARE! they will nickel and dime you through the hole process. This store is a typicle dealership and there prices are outrageous. I would not ever shop at this dealership again!
I’m pretty cynical in general and know nothing about bike engines, but they’ve always been friendly and respectful while tuning up my mistreated starter bike. No unnecessary repairs have been recommended, and they’re always willing to take a second look if you feel anything funny at pickup. At this point I trust them, thanks Evan!
We bought our first quad at South Sound Honda 15 hrs ago. Now we have bought several more bikes and quads along with all the gear, tires, parts, etc to go with them there since. Everyone from sales, to service, to part has been phenomenal! We have referred many friends and family to purchase there and they have become life-long patrons as well. Thank you South Sound Honda for making us part of your family.
Very nice and helpful can be abit more knowledgeable. The spend alot of time helping and explaining tings to me to the best of there abilities especially the owner of the business I would most definitely recommend buying products from them. Not sure about there service department to have no experience with them. The guy that help me choose and buy accessories was great so sweet and helpful. I hope many other places learn from them
Very helpful staff.Got tune up and oil change parts for my ST1300.Was going to get the most expensive, and they pointed out the factory recommended best was different, and it turned out to be 1/2 the cost.
Walked in to make an offer on a bike that I was previously laughed at and disrespected for at another dealership up north. I was greeted politely and told Paul what I was able to spend. He was able to bring down the price to within $66 dollars of the offer I was laughed at for only two hours earlier. Paul played no games and was nothing short of polite, respectful and professional. Closed the deal and could not have been happier.
Very helpful and knowlagable staff my purchase was very pleasant I will buy here again
Was quoted $31.50+ tax to swap out a back tire, then I got a call saying that they dont have a valve for my tire and that a needed a tube. Ended up being $60+ after It got done. Probably going to buy everything to do it myself next time because thats way cheaper than going somewhere.
Love getting my car cleaned. Usually great service. Ill always go there.
Great parts guts. Mike and wee man are awesome. Loads of knowledge and very helpful
At the end of the day, its the little things that really go a long way!
I was very surprised to see their tire prices were within $10 of Revzilla! Very appropriate for a brick and mortar. Great, fast service! Will shop here again!
Was quoted a specific price over the phone for a dirt bike and was charged a higher amount at time of pick up. Would not have been a big deal, except we traveled 8 hours to pick up these motorcycles. Will not be doing business here again.
While one parts guy was ringing up my purchase the other one ( short guy) would not stop talking to the man helping me this was very annoying and it has happened before he lacks customer service skills and I will probably go up north for Honda parts now or online
I love the people there. I went to get my oil changed and I felt like royalty. Not only did I get my car fully inspected but they vacuumed and washed my car.
All staff was very helpful and informative. Had a great experience making a purchase here.
Always great shopping here. Cant beat the service you receive in the parts department. Friendly employees. Always great talking with Mike.
I hipe to be hired here to day, or very soon after. Im applying for a job here to day, wish me kuck.
Jeff Reiner is always professional and helpful with all my friends and family. I would definitely recommend South Sound Honda to everybody looking for sales or service!!!
Nothing but a scam from stem to stern. I was quoted more for a bottom end fix then an entirely new motor.
They charged me a set up fee of more than two hundred dollars on my Brand new Grom, this would be okay if they actually did an inspection or any set up. Instead my clutch lever was loose and my chain had way more than 35mm of play. And when I pointed these things out to them onothe showroom floor they brushed it off just tryimg to get me out of the door. I mean I can do these things myself, not a problem. But I paid good money for set up fees and had to set up the bike myself.
I purchased a used Honda TRX450R and a new Honda CRF 125 from SSH. It was a great experience! The sales department didnt waste our time and we quickly made a deal on the bikes. The paperwork processing was a breeze. We also worked with Mike in parts to get all our riding gear and maintenance stuff for the bikes. He was very helpful with everything. I have purchased from other dealers on various occasions. South Sounds service to me and my family was a step above! I look forward to working with them in the future!
Spoke with the parts manager about a wind screen for my NC700x. He directed me to the one supplied by Honda. I mentioned that it looked rather short but he said Honda must know and have it figured out. Needless to say, it is way short and creates a very loud noise around my helmet. When I called to exchange it, was told they would not accept it as I had already installed it.Do not count on them giving you good advice on parts.
I was going to buy a Kia here. The soul is a cute car.
Made a stop here to get a buddy a Bluetooth headset, the guys working the accessories were two really cool guys that were enjoyable to chat with while installing it. Also they had little honda bikes for kids, I want to bring back my 5 and 6 year old and fit them on a bike :D
The whole staff at this place was so awesome and helpful from start to finish. I shopped around for a few months at various places(of which wont be named lol) and was pressured by 85% of the sale people to make a decision almost immediately. The sales team at South Sound Honda were polite, answered questions, and together we narrowed it down to the best machine for my needs, not just so they could move inventory. I worked with the parts team to get the accessories I needed. The service team who broke down the proper maintenance it will take to keep my machine in good working order. The finance team who worked diligently to get me the best rate and loan even though ultimately I went with my credit union to keep my finances at one establishment. They all kick butt and were so awesome to me I cant say enough good things about them. The only criticism I could give them is that they didnt have milk and cookies to celebrate my purchase haha but I did get to Ring That Bell! Thanks again to the staff, and especially Rocket Ron my sales professional!Brian (Proud owner of a new 2017 Polaris RZR)
Helpful staff, got me the information for the boots I was looking for
I drive from Seattle just for the great customer service here at South Sound Honda
Had an emergency flat on my daughters bike the day of race, service department went the extra mile and fixed it right on the spot so that we could make the race, can’t thank them enough.
Bought 2 quads from them. Nice people, easy to work with.
Great customer service, very helpful throughout the whole experience. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.
People writing negative reviews about this place should play in traffic.Service is great and he sales associates are knowledgeable and personable.
Sadly, the service department will cheat you if they think you have limited mechanical abilities. Had them say one thing, do another, and when caught in the act, accosted and hostile towards me. I dont care where you take you bike, this place is atrocious.
Awful service. Went in to purchase a bike with my father, told them, thats the one I want, lets get it going. I was then made to wait on a man testing 3 bikes who came in AFTER myself who took a good 2 hours riding them, then of course deciding on the one I told the woman I would buy. We then left and after about 3 months we were given notice by the Department of Financial Institutions that both my fathers and my credit had been ran multiple times by South Sound Honda. We called South Sound Honda and asked if it had been them whod ran it. They put us on hold for a short time and told us no, it had not been them. So we called the DFI back and asked if they could contact SSH. They of course did so and SSH called us back apologizing and the DFI let us know everything was taken care of. The best part is, the woman that ran our credit and was the one trying to sell us the bike apparently doesnt exist. We asked for, specifically, a woman who was selling bikes on that day. SSH went on to tell us they didnt have and woman on the sales floor at all. I can go on with the experience my father had bringing his VTX in for an estimate at the repair shop and having to wait 3 hours when no one else was having repairs done, but I think Ive made my point clear. This place is poorly managed and seemingly out for every dollar they can get with no matter to the customers at all.
