A technician did a spot repair on my car windshield at my residence on Sept. 3, 2021. He was cordial, explained what he would do and was on-site about 15 minutes. My beef is that it cost an astounding $156.41 for this service. I realize that he drove to my residence but, My God, I feel like I have been legally stiffed by this company.

Scheduled a windshield replacement 3 weeks out. When the tech arrived, he was concerned that he was not provided the right replacement windshield. So after pre-paying, waiting 3 weeks, and making arrangements to be available with my vehicle in a 4 hour window, couldnt get the job done. Wanted to reschedule another 3 weeks out. What a mess. What a waste of time. Not the techs fault. Seemed so easy and straight forward. 2013 Dodge Dart, nothing special. DISAPPOINTED!

Literally couldnt figure out how to talk to a person when I called their phone number. So unfortunate that a computer automated system is that frustrating to a user. I use them in the past when I could talk to a real person. Things were way better then.

I had a few rock dings on my winshield. My Insurance company wanted me to stopped in for an inspection. Friendly, helpful staff. Had the inspection. I need a new windshield. Needs to be ordered and then they can replace it at my house. Major time saver.

Awful. Went in a month ago and they had forgotten to order my windshield. They schedule me for a month out. I come back. Again, no windshield and they say it was scheduled at the Tacoma location. I walked out. You have wasted my time for the last time. And no apology!! Just looks at you with those big blue eyes. Nothing. Vacant.

I had an appointment scheduled that after I had arrived and waited 40 min. for, was told that they didnt have my windshield in. Fast forward a week later, I came in and waited 4 hours, got my windshield replaced, only to find out when I got home that they had stripped the side molding off of my cars windshield frame and didnt have a replacement to put in. I called the manager and they had told me that they didnt have a replacement molding for my car. I was never informed of this before they did the replacement nor was I informed when I was paying. It leaves the metal frame of my car exposed and looks terrible. After calling around to a few auto glass companies, I was told that the molding for my car is available but Id have to basically pay the price of a windshield replacement to get the molding back on as theyd have to remove my windshield. Id give a zero star review if I could. Never go to Safelite for any repairs/replacements go somewhere else.

I scheduled a mobile windshield with Jeremy a month a go for this morning and no one thought to double check the appointment and make sure they had the parts and didnt bother letting me know until they cancelled the morning of. Completely unprofessional and Im so unhappy with this. I was offered a $50 discount I will not be taking because Ill be going somewhere else. Ridiculous.

Anted door glass replaced here. They supposedly ordered glass. I then called again they canceled my appointment and stated they couldnt find the glass. Would not recommend to any one. Especially USAA members

They fixed the trucks windshield and some how removed the Good to Go pass and put it on the new windshield,WOW IMPRESSIVE

Super fast service, next day appointments were available when I booked. They took care of the insurance claim and I didnt even have to interact with my insurance company at all. The whole thing (filing the claim and booking the appointment) was taken care of online using a quick simple form, and I was able to submit my payment information for my deductible online (they didnt charge my card until the work was completed). They called the day before to remind me of my appointment (I had to book a few days out), and customer service was excellent start to finish. They also did a FANTASTIC job on my windshield replacement... so thrilled to be rid of the giant crack thats been in my line of vision for so long... my windshield looks so BIG now that I can see through it properly!

Second time here for a windshield, second time I have received exemplary service! Out in less than an hour with text updates as how the job was going and when completed. Windshield replaced on a 2017 mazda Cx5 with radar, working great will be back if needing windshield!!! *****!

They Terrible, I used them years ago and they were fantastic, Ist app..I set up an appointment with them and they canceled (3 Apts between July-Aug) 2nd they ordered the wrong windshield, tried getting a live person on the phone. Never got anyone when that happened. Round 3.. guy finally comes to our house with wrong windshield again. Safelitein Olympia WA is terrible. Do not recommend

First time Mikecame to my residence, he didnt have the correct glass or material needed for my BMW. I explained him exactly what I wanted. He rescheduled my appt x 2 months in the future cause they are reallybusy. My 2nd appt was todY, nice rep Bill was sent with the correct glass but missing g the seals around the glass since they had to be special order! Really? They had to reschedule me. Very bad service. They are not paying Ttention on what they are doing! DO NOT schedule a service guy to come to your address. They are not prepared.

I made an appointment a month in advance. After I dropped my car off, they called me and said they did not have my glass and that my insurance made my appointment for Seattle. Checked with my insurance, my appointment was in fact for the Olympia location. Ashley on the phone was condescending and rude, cut me off mid sentence, when I tried to schedule another appointment. I was trying to clarify if my glass would in fact be there for my appointment, but she seemed annoyed at having to make an appointment.

They broke my windshield while fixing it after a suspicious sounding warning that it could happen. Then, they tried to insist on a cheaper, after market windshield for my vehicle even after I explained that Im only responsible for a small deductible.They were two weeks out for appointments. Why, because theyre deliberately breaking all the windshields?? Their higher rated competitors are only a week out, and insisted on higher quality glass for my car. There are at least three, more reputable shops to choose from. Be careful choosing this shop.

Terrible customer service.I had to pay for them to come out and replace my windshield. I am fine with this part.When I got a chip two months later, they suddenly dont service the area. They told me this the day they had the appointment scheduled. When I was able to drive to them, the chip was Unfortunately slightly too large to fix and the window needs replacement again. Too bad it wasnt fixed sooner. I have to pay for this of course... again.This would not have happened if they let me know they did t service the area sooner or if they kept their apartment.

I didn’t get any help for my issue and no responses to my emails. I have a crack in my windshield that got replaced recently by safelite. Would be nice if I could actually talk to someone on the phone.

I’ve called multiple times trying to bypass their automated system to try to talk to a human being and I can’t. The automated system just ends up hanging up on me, I go online to make my appointment and because it’s a 1985 it tells me to call the store so apparently they don’t want my business never coming here ever.

I showed up about 5 minutes late.... the time frame was quoted at 90 minutes to 2 hours for my Windshield replacement on my work truck.... and they completed it in well under an hour. Great service, very efficient with time and Im early at my next job! GREAT place!

This particular store was a FANTASTIC experience! Cheryl (the office manageress) is efficient, and wonderfully friendly! The guys that replaced the glass in my car did a stellar job! They took care of my problem within two days, whereas the Seattle office could not get anything done in TWO MONTHS! I spent more than an hour on hold with the Seattle office so I could let them know that my problems was solved so wonderfully, and after 1hr and 10 minutes I gave up. Satellite Olympia for the win!

Well Im a little disappointed. I called my insurance to set up repair (cracks from rocks which are small) on the windshield of my vehicle, it only took about 5-10 minutes, I went to see how it turned out and it doesnt even look like he did anything but wipe my window down....the spots are still easily seen, which I thought he was going to fill them with the stuff they use but he clearly didnt

Have been trying to reach a local representative for three days to ask a question the computer was not programed to answer and cant get past the phone robot. What ever happened to local customer service.

DELIGHTED! SafeLite replaced my windshield today! So easy and streamlined. My insurance covered the replacement. I came in, handed them my key and in 30mins they took it off, melted it down, made a new one and placed it back on. 🤣 Sms msgs every step of the way. Recommend! Worth the premium if you’re paying out of pocket.

The windshield replacement was quick and the staff was friendly. There were two issues I found after I left. One, there was some small class fragments in my driver seat. Not a big deal as I can probably just vacuum it right up. The other is a little more of a problem. When they removed the old windshield they cut the plastic trim near the windshield in a few places. Hardly noticeable, but still not something I cared to see.***UPDATE*** 18 Jun 2020I owe an update based on the outcome of taking my vehicle in, which was at the direction of the owner. There was no back and forth about the damages done. The shop owned it and promptly ordered replacement trim pieces. I took it in a few days later and they fixed it. Their willingness to get the job done right speaks volumes. Big thanks to the shop for taking care of this customer!

Scratched my window up during a chip repair. Took it back to the shop and they tried to fix it but couldnt. Thats when the lady behind the counter said oh well it couldnt have been from us. So I said oh so its a coincidence that the scratched lead to the repair and she rudely said must be.1800 Safelite was very helpful and apologized for her and are replacing the window.

Okay, I wanted to give it a one star because I hated not being able to call them and talk personally. Its all online now which is absolutely ridiculous because I had a question first before trying to fix my window. Instead I had to arrange a time for a person to come out only to tell me my answer before he even got out to look at my truck. I felt bad for wasting his time. He did look it over and helped me out and honestly thats why I gave more stars, Aaron was amazing and so niiiiice!!! I would give him five stars and the company one star.Bring back the personalization of talking on the phone!!!!

My claim was approved through my insurance and an appointment to replace the window was set. Safelite canceled my appointment because they didn’t have the glass. 5 minutes later I got a call saying they had it in stock and need to set an appointment for 3 weeks later. Sold the car with broken glass and lost out on the value of the window.

My experience here this last week was nothing short of completely pleasant. They were ready for me when I arrived at my appointed time. The windshield was replaced in 30 minutes less than estimated. And the follow up by the technician (Adam) was both sincere and appreciated. Thank you Safelite team!

The work was done quickly and efficiently, I have no complaints about that. My issue is more with the lack of professionalism I witnessed while there.Most of the time I was there, I heard employees openly talking about how they hate the job, making fun of other employees and in one case, mocking a customer. I understand work is work, it’s not always fun. But to present that view when a customer is present is just unprofessional. Again, the technician was polite to me, and I have no issues with the work, just the attitudes.

Windshield was not cleaned inside or out prior to install. Windshield was not installed centered or square. Tech left a mess all over the dash. Called Safelite, they will not touch anything until the sealant fails. So I have warranty work to look forward to in my future.In response to Safelites reply: I already spoke to one of your members who said you wont do anything unless the adhesive fails. What now?

I went to get windshield replaced, get there and they tell me the glass they ordered is scratched. I thought it was nice of them to be honest with me, thanked them. They said they needed to reschedule, were not able to get me in until a week later. Throughout this whole thing not once they said they were sorry that I wasted my time driving there and that they were going to take a while to get me in. I called the seattle office made a complaint, and all they had to tell me was “they Always order the glass the night before they need it, they couldn’t have known it was scratched until you got there “ and that was it, just excuses for ordering it last minute and yet again didn’t say sorry like it’s my fault they don’t know how to do their jobs and they shouldn’t have to apologize. Unprofessional people who don’t care about the customer experience, I am very disappointed. The first time I had been there a few months back I had a very good experience but today was TERRIbLE !

I used the mobile repair service for my new windshield. My technician Adam came to my work early in the morning and called me beforehand to make sure what time I would be there. Explained all services before hand and after. Very quick, was done within 30 minutes. Will definitely use again. My windshield looks great!!

Their motto should be caveat emptor...The price was great but it turned out to be a lousy deal. They broke a trim piece on my Mercedes and tried to fix it with blue tape. It looked fine and I didnt notice since the tape was concealed on the back of the trim.Long story short, as soon as I went over 50mph it came off. I retrieved it and called their customer service. They let me know that since I signed off on the job any broken bits are my fault.I called corporate and was given a run around till they told me to go through my insurance company. Ugh! I saved like $20 over a local company but spent $400 fixing their lousy work.Eff- this place. Ive had them do like 20 windshields for me because they seem to have the best deal. Not anymore, cave venditor!

Everything went smooth.

Technician was friendly and courteous. The appointment window was 8a-12p. He arrived right at 8 so I didnt have to wait at all. All he asked was that I move my car behind his Safelite van because the van wouldnt fit in my apartments garage. He noticed I was sleepy and told me it would take about an hour, so I could go rest and he would call me when hes done. He called about 45 minutes later having completed the job as well as vacuumed the floors of the car for free! The job was done well, he put the rear view mirror back on perfectly where it should be on the windshield as well. Would highly recommend Safelite for windshield repair/replacement.

Had windshield replaced for a good price. Staff was friendly and answered all the technical questions I could think of. Got my car back in two hours and it looked great. But the next time it rained, I noticed the wiper rain sensor on the windshield wasnt working. When I took it back, they spent quite a bit of time looking into it. The technician fixed it and was extra concerned that it worked MY satisfaction. He spent time explaining the whole process to me. The next time it rained, it was working perfectly.Very happy with the service, the work, and the price.

Top notch quality & done in a jiffy!! Online time estimate was 90min-2hrs, tech said 1hr & he beat his own estimate!! Nice to not have to peek through a giant crack in the windshield anymore. Didnt leave a mess in or on my car either. Seriously happy with the service!! Price felt high yet comparable to other companies nearby but the convenience of not having to drive to a shop as well as the efficiency was worth it.

When it comes to auto glass issues, THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO. I made an online appointment for a Saturday at 2 PM... a complete windshield replacement. It was done by 3!!Meanwhile, everyone was positive, pleasant... even funny. There are several snack and drink choices. The desk manager didnt ask for my VIN, she just went out in the rain and got it. The bill was exactly what I expected. When I got in to drive home, I saw that the interior was clean. Well done, full stop.OK, do thats the review for the Plum Street shop.Now the mobile service....Miserable experience. Dont bother. One star, since they did eventually show up after numerous back & forths...

These guys were all professional, timely, and after a bit of a mix up to no fault of theirs, they effectively communicated with us options and replaced my car window.They even had to stay later than usual due to the complication, these guys absolutely will do everything they reasonably can to make sure your windows are top notch and good to go on time.

The girl at the front desk is awful. You can do better. She tried to tell us our chip repair wasnt covered under our insurance after she checked the list honestly I dont think she could read. When I called my insurance they sent me to safelite customer service who wrote me a work order. When presented with the work order she just got an attitude and wouldnt look me in the eyes or reapond with words. She didnt even apologize for attempting to overcharge me for my chip repair. She sucks. Safelite sucks. Ill travel to another city to avoid this store.

I have had a couple of rock chips filled at the Oly Shop and 2 windshields replaced by their mobile crews. They do a great job and their staff is very personable.

I had nothing but a bad experience with this location. Had a mobile appointment scheduled, it got cancelled suddenly and apparent the technician called out sick, which is fine but they should’ve called and not just sent me a text that my appointment was cancelled. Second time it was scheduled I waited 4.5 hours, tech didn’t show up, no phone call text nothing so I called and was on hold for at least ten minutes. When I finally got a live person she claimed somebody called and left me a message that I needed to reschedule. The problem being, I had no missed calls or voicemails. I had to miss a total of 8 hours of work between the two days and my windshield still isn’t repaired. I am going to be going with another company at this point and do not recommend Safelite at all.

The woman who created us at the front counter, tried to convince us that our insurance wouldn’t cover the repair. She went as far as to lie to us stating “it’s not on the list”. So we scheduled an appointment, then called our insurance company and they forwarded us to safeliite who confirmed that our insurance would cover the repair at no cost. The rep sent the work order to the safelite Olympia branch. When we showed us for our appointment we prompted the women at the front desk to refer to the work order. She seemed very displeased as if she wanted to over charge us for a simple chip repair. Makes me wonder how many customers she got away with taking advantage of. Not only will we never come back, we will spread the word of your shameful business.

Terrible experience. FYI: I am a low maintenance, repeat customer who is super flexible and always tips. Safelite got too big too quickly and lost focus on what matters: the customer Nicholas, Olympias location service tech completely disillusioned me in this company. From the moment he arrived, he acted like he didnt want to be here and ultimately found a reason to cancel the appointment. Theres plenty of competition out there, so save yourself the aggravation and avoid Safelite
