Great coffee shop hidden on the evergreen state college campus. For under 5$ you can get a coffee & bagel w/cc. They also have specialty lunch & breakfast sandwiches. Staff is really friendly creating a welcoming ambiance. The grab and go cooler offers a variety of choices, and is kept well stocked.
Long lines and definitely understaffed!!
Delicious yummy coffee and food
They website says they are open on Sunday.I went by and they were closed.
Really good bagel sandwiches (especially the pizza bagel) and smoothies. Unfortunately they are a bit smaller and don’t have all the menu items a full Einstein Bros would have.
Still temporarily closed. Visited two Saturdays in a row since start of Winter quarter to find it closed. Please update your hours here and on your website.
I love this place. Their bagels are great. Not exactly gourmet level food, but its good.
This place is no longer in business.
Yum!! I had the best honey wheat bagel, with lots of whipped cream cheese. Delish for sure. 😁
Great bagels and awesome staff. Nice music selection playing as well.
I always visit when its v busy, and even then the staff are friendly and helpful.
Lines get very long but that is to be expected on a college campus. They have student workers and sometimes my food order gets messed up so always check your food before leaving. However the barista Tristan makes amazing drinks. Definitely a go-to location on the campus!
This is totally a Bagels place. The food they offer and the variety of Bagels is very nice, they also count with some vegetarian and vegan options. It is overprice for the quality of the product.
Their bagels and hummus are so good. Always friendly staff. Need more open hours!!
I love Einsteins and the customer service is great. The busy times seem to be 35 after every hour between 9 and 12, and a long lunch rush between 12 and 1:50. I recommend going around 20 after the hour for no line! The French Toast Egg Sandwich is primo 👌🏻
I came in for a bagel and coffee. The dark roast was good and the toasted everything bagel with veggie spread was just fine. The place had an energetic vibe with people of diverse ages talking away about intellectual subjects. I liked the view of that corner of campus.
3rd time recently that they have failed to properly heat up frozen food. This needs attention.
Their barista there Is amazing, some of the best drinks I have ordered. I have gotten to the point where Im comfortable with anything he makes because he knows what goes well together and what mixes well to make a great drink. Their food on the other hand is okay, a little pricey but the good stuff they only serve every once in awhile and then they change it up. Plenty of begal choices and the food comes out at a decent rate. Depending on when you go there it could be a 5 minute order or 20 minutes in line because of college students and its right in the middle of Evergreen.
Begals where good, I asked for garlic and herb shmear and got garden. The music was pretty loud so probably why she couldn’t hear me well. Other than that it was fine.
Uhhh burned my toasted bagel that I paid $4.00 for so that really sucks. The staff on campus seem to close whenever they want. Their sign says they’re supposed to stay open until 7:15pm on Wednesday’s but several times I’ve gone in at 2:30-3:00ish and they say they’re closing for the day.
Food is super pricey compared to other locations. Perhaps because its a college spot but either way, it took a while to take and receive our order and the items we got couldnt be rung up on the same bill so they had to make two separate orders which seems inefficient and silly. Once we got the food, it was pretty tasty, though. I dont think Id go here again. :(
In the past I loved Einstein’s. The barista with blonde and pink hair always remembered my drink and was cheerful. He even remembered when I forgot to use my punch card and would update it. As of recently the customer service has been terrible. I had a new barista say my order out loud and follow with “please don’t make orders more complicated than they need to be.” (Half sweet latte) And the drink that was previously made perfect daily was now bitter and definitely not what I ordered. When I ordered toasted bagel it wasn’t toasted and the sweet smear often tasted like the savory smear and vice verse... like they hadn’t cleaned the knife between spreading. I stopped going entirely. I’m only now writing my review after the evergreen campus location was closed down for break due to low quality
Overpriced, but great service. I dont find it to be very slow as many have said. Theyre pretty quick considering how many people come in all at once all the time. It likely feels slow due to the fact that it is on Evergreen campus and people are often in a hurry to or from class.
Einsteins is sort of what youd expect it to be; the bagels and spreads are good, the bananas are overpriced, and the mochas are way too sweet. But when you didnt get enough sleep and need some mediocre coffee to get through class, youre probably going to end up here, and thats okay.
Friendly staff, great management, love their Chai.
Good bagels and a couple vegan options so thats cool! A little pricey (on campus you kind of expect it) but still good food and drinks!
The coffee has been pretty awful recently (posting April 30th), and their food is okay on a good day. Only eat there because theres limited food options at Evergreen.
... regardless of color? While uniformity of color is prized in industrial societies, I really dont mind if the bagel sold to me is a bit different in color than the next one as long as it passes food safety tests.
Overpriced company store providing broke students with cafeteria-quality baked goods. Air bagels and rubber dough snacks.
Needs to be renamed Weinsteins Bagels in honor of the based Professor. Serves bagels at the same price to all students regardless of color.
Great staff but way too expensive for a college. 75% markup on everything.
Havent been here sense I was in collegeNow has df cream cheese!
Great turkey sandwiches and friendly staff
Love it
I hate that their Frappacinos are from mixes, allows no flexibility in ingredients.
I liked the bagel but the recent tensions on campus due to black student protests made me uncomfortable so I decided to wait a little while before eating here again.
The food may be overpriced, but the taste is totally worth it.
Pretty decent place on campus
Overpriced and absurdly slow service, but they dont have competition. Ahhhh, the joys of monopoly!
The students working here are kind but seem overworked. The prices are too high for every item. The coffee is okay but worth about half as much as it costs.
The best atmosphere and coffee
Place is pretty dope, yo.
Ignore their posted online hours, as they are inaccurate.
