I came in today about 130 pm with my very afraid toddler (being its close to Halloween she is terrified of everything). I didnt get his name, but there was a mid 20s? Gentle man working the front floor. He saw her fear and tried to help convince her the store was okay. He was so polite and kind and was overall the best kind of employee I have seen in quite a long time. Super great service!!!

More staff would be nice but everyone that was working was very nice.A little disheveled and unorganized due to Halloween but had more Halloween stuff than I expected.

Love this place for all my party needs.

Ruined my sister’s 10 year memorial. I’m in tears. This experience was insensitive, uncomfortable, they don’t have any biodegradable ribbons or yarn and the balloons were so underfilled that they didn’t even release into the sky. The entire point of what I was doing was spreading her ashes in the balloon, which I carefully packaged in each one. I had to manually pop each balloon and disperse the ashes by hand. I’m so emotionally distraught that I can’t put it into words. I am so so so upset by this whole experience I will never ever come back.

We had previously purchased birthday balloons from Amazon and needed to have them filled with helium. I stopped by the store on Sunday morning after they opened, and the staff were very friendly and very helpful. I had a very short wait in line and the person helping me proceeded to fill my balloons and two other employees came to help so it was a very quick process.

Very friendly staff, was able to get everything I needed. Very well stocked and very large variety of items for just about everything.

Had a wonderful deal on a 24pcs buffet kit for Thanksgiving. They kept our food nice and hot the whole time. There was no complaints from our guest about the food being cold or even warm. Everything was hot but not too hot where u have to blow on it.

Great selection of supplies for every occasion but sparsely staffed even for a Thursday afternoon. Only two in the store, one busy at the register and the other floating the floor both personable and friendly but with items on high floor to ceiling shelves they could have used one more. But obviously the place in Olympia to get supplies for any occasion.

Needed decorations for an 1st year birthday celebration in none other than ELMO. O was able to find all my hearts desires and then some. However, some of the fellow customers I encountered needed reality checks on how to treat other human being.Otherwise the staff was great.

I like this place..but my son LOVES it. They tend to be a bit pricier than other places & a bit crowded near Halloween..but, they have a good selection of costumes for infants up to adults & you can try it on before you purchase.. & if you are just needing props for a theme party or a birthday bash..they have a pretty decent selection for all of that as well..& I cant forget to mention the staff, which in my case, have always been super friendly & very helpful.

This store was by far the best place to look for party supplies. My son wanted a Mario birthday and we could not find anything Mario. This store even had a piñata for a Mario party. They have a very wide selection, and even if you cant find your theme, they have a ton of colors to choose from that would fit your color scheme.

AWFUL again. Terrrrrrible service. Rude. Cold. Cannot find ANYTHING I am looking for! Third time Ive tried. Third time completely disappointed, regret every time that I have gone out of my way to drive to a place outside of my neighborhood where I would assume I would have all the help I would need to throw a party. Instead I walk in and instantly feel like a total inconvenience for being there. I gave it away to the staff the first couple of times, thinking they are just busy with the seasons being celebrated...but after a 3rd time... really again?? Im over it. Next time Im sure I can find what I need at the Dollar store, as long as I can plan ahead. But as a party planner that caters to several events, which sometimes spring up out of nowhere... that gets hard in a pinch. So, no thanks to your awful, unforgivable false advertising for providing all my party needs.

Barely helpful. In person at store in Olympia salesgirl told me the costume I wanted will be sold out I said like when? Is it sold out now? Told me yes. So I spent an hour picking out another costume, then she came up to me to tell me it wasnt sold out after all. WTH.

Stock availability is wrong, employees are inattentive and unhelpful. Good luck finding what you need, even with 6 employees walking around.

Huge selection of party supplies. Theres also gifts for parties, candy, costumes, holiday decor. This place is the one stop shop for parties, seriously. I have bought all the decorations for every one of my kids birthdays here. They have pretty much any theme your kid can think of.

Ok service but the prices are very high and the selection is pretty much everything you can get at Walmart I thought I was coming for a variety of things and left with balloons that cost me 50 dollars for a 1 and 0 and ten yellow balloons... Wont be back.

Party city during Halloween is a fun experience. They set-up examples of all their interactive decorations. Its a cheap and easy way to keep children entertained for a while.

The place was packed the weekend before Halloween but the staff we friendly and patient. I was looking for edible luster dust and they didnt have that but did have edible spray and many other things (I wasnt looking for) that ended up in my cart!

Halloween costume shopping down to the last couple weeks they were out of alot of sizes. Huge selection though. Also the prices range from super good deal to way overpriced and it seems random from one costume to the next.

I called in about a wig. Lady asked me to hold a minute. Came back to phone about 3 minutes later, explained exactly what they had in stock . Went and got it. The end.Everyone seemed pleasant, easy shopping.

Lots of variety but sadly not enough. They have many colours but then not a lot of other items besides the plates, napkins, silverwares and table cloths.They have almost every colour in those items but then you try finding like crepe paper (streamers) and the diversity just goes downhill. Prices are reasonable and items are worth the amount! Some of the cheaper items are well cheap (Like the goodie bag toys) but its what is expected ~

Party City has a wide range of items that are easily found at other stores. Obviously they carry specific items that are difficult to find elsewhere but ridiculously overpriced! Most definitely not a one stop shop considering other stores sell identical products for significantly less... which is why Party City gets a 3/5 Rating. However, since this review effects the store itself, I will say that the employees were very friendly and helpful. The store was clean and the shelves were organized. There were items that were unavailable but overall.. the store deserves 5/5 Rating!

Horrible customer service. I ordered balloons online and when I went into the store to pick them up the woman behind the counter rang my purchase up, took my payment, put my items in my bag then told me they had no helium to blow the balloons up. Same woman I spoke with 25 minutes earlier to confirm my order was ready and explained the balloons were for our 2 yr old granddaughters birthday party. All she said was uh huh...should have known!I will NOT go back again! She had the audacity to charge me for inflating balloons knowing the store had no helium, then wanted me to wait to get refunded. I asked for a manager call back, still waiting 20 days later.

Balloons are very expensive. Often lines can be long. Only place in town really to find large selection of party favors or party ware (wide array of different colored plates, napkins, plastic silverware etc).

They havent got any decent costumes this year in fact many of them are trashy. The employees are slow to unbox the merchandise. They also have no jelly belly jelly beans.

Not enough staff to cover the front on a late Saturday morning. I was charged for my 8 balloons, then made to wait while the other customers were rung up. I should have been helped immediately, not made to wait.Also - there is a helium shortage, so dont expect to have more than 6 or 8 balloons blown up.

Lenny was great! He went above and beyond helping me out with balloons for my sons birthday.

Very disappointed with them ~ one balloon I chose wouldnt hold air, the 2nd one I selected that was on display they did not have any to sell, and I couldnt buy the display one. I gave up, and had them take back all the other purchases and refund my money. In the future I wont pay until I have all the items that I want to buy ready to go ~ it was a waste of my time, totally. The Dollar Store had everything I wanted, and for less money!!!

You can find everything you need here except a good price. Things are outrageous expensive.

Best and only party store in town besides the dollar store.
