Wife and I stayed a few nights in our brand new RV here. The staff was helpful but on the last day noticed our locking gas door pryed open, gas cap missing, and our full 100 gallons stolen. The staff said they have security at night but the thief or thieves still stole nearly $400 in gas!!! I am now designing device that will flat out knock whomever messes with my gas lid on their butt with a few lithium batteries and a high output transformer...

Stayed at park for almost a year. The owners and staff are great. Helped me out and continue to help out my family. Most people that stay long term will always be their with plenty of haters when you leave. Politics from people that when came thru gate was a temporary stay now its their life. Place to get comfortable and forget what really matters to you in lifeOverall beautiful owners but be leary if you have stay long term you might lose your family in process

Great location. Very family friendly. Had guests come visit with no fees. Speed limit of 5 mph that they politely enforce as our little ones run around. Gate upfront gets closed at night, they don’t lock it. Staff is always friendly. 2 sets of restrooms located in different areas of the park. Always clean. Bathrooms located at the front have a code lock. Staff always make sure guests are given the new code promptly. Staff goes above and beyond to insure safety and security. New to owning a trailer some of the staff helped me with questions I had. Bummed no pool this summer, because of state mandate. There is always next summer!

We stayed 1 week back in the water, power only area, that was all we could handle after that we left and found a nicer cheaper place. This is not as nice as the pictures portray, there are many tarps up all over, there is no up keep on the back lots. When we tried to upgrade to a spot with a sewer we where told we couldnt as there wasnt any available which we had seen several, multiple times.. The bathrooms are gross and there is a gate they close at night supposedly at 10 pm, but after visiting my family I returned at 9:50 pm and found the gate already closed and looked locked. I ended up walking in the dark back to my RV. They have a charge of 5$ per person on your guest, it would have cost me to have my family come visit when there is 7 of them in the family.. I would rate this place no stars and would never ever rent from them again even if they are conveniently located near my family !!

Overall I’d recommend staying here. It’s family friendly, and the peace is kept. There is some noise during the day but outside of the party atmosphere in the summer camp area it’s quiet at night.Like any park with acceptable rates and long term tenants there is some riffraff, but nobody that means any harm.

I travel full time across the country with my young child. It’s EXTREMELY rare that I pay to stay anywhere (I have abundant solar power and can last 1-2 months on my water supply). I originally came here for propane, but the sign I attached a photo of made me feel extremely welcome right away. The color of my skin isn’t always welcome or appreciated. Another thing that sold me to this place was how the owner defends the people who stay at her campground. I’ve been wrongfully judged many times, so it touched me to see her be rightfully defensive of good people who are wrongfully judged in the ratings. After meeting the owner, we immediately clicked and I asked how much it was to stay the night. I hadn’t paid to stay somewhere in over 10 months, but something was telling me this would be a perfect place for us to treat ourselves. The rate was very reasonable, as was the price on propane. The customer service was outstanding. It’s family run and you feel like family immediately. Most people camped there seemed very friendly and many had children. Yes, there are some older rigs, but we need a place to stay too. I have an older rig and it runs a lot better than most newer ones. The pool was wonderful and clean. The showers were clean and hot - very refreshing after a long soak in the pool. Their little store is cute and convenient. My kid fell in love with the swings and watching the older kids run around playing together. It’s like a little neighborhood and you forget where you are.It was very quiet at night and we slept soundly. The following day, I got all ready to check out and I realized they had laundry facilities. I was going to go to a laundromat, but I wanted to give my money to them instead. They let me park in front and stay a couple extra hours to finish my laundry. Seriously, they are so kind. I HIGHLY recommend this place to kind people. If you’re the type of person who goes around looking to be upset or disappointed, this place doesn’t deserve you. This is the first place in 3 years of traveling that I already want to go back and visit.

We rolled into the campground close to 9 pm and the office was closed. A car pulled in behind us and the driver said he saw us pull off the I5, and he thought we might be heading to the campground. Turns out this was an employee of the campground named Greg, and he quickly arranged a site for us. Talk about great friendly service! Thanks Greg! Quiet, clean, forested site. Great place to stay while travelling the I5.

Olympia Campground is great! We are currently staying here semi long term. We moved to WA the first of Aug 2012 and are waiting for our home to sell. They offer full hook-ups and water & electric only sites as well as plain tent sites. Were staying in our RV and our site is great! The folks who own/run the campground are so very nice. This is a family owned/run business. The bathrooms are cleaned every day (even Sundays) and for the most part stay clean until the weekenders come with kids, then youll find some mess but it isnt filthy. They clean the pool quite often (possibly daily). Theres no lifeguard so young children must be supervised while they play. They also have a small playground with swings & a teter totter. They have a nice bundle of firewood for $5 and all sites have a fire pit. The area is kept groomed but in such a manner as it still feels like your in the woods. Its very inviting for all.

Tolmie is great. We moved to Washington from Dallas, TX, where it cost lots of money to do anything. Its sad to read complaints from people who dont want to pay $10 (or $30 for a year pass to ALL state parks) to go to a clean and beautiful beach with hiking trails and bathroom facilities.WHAT A STEAL!!You can bring a tent and cook out equipment and spend the whole day.And yes the hours are fairly restrictive, but thats how it is able to stay so clean and safe and well maintained and for such an inexpensive amount.

Stayed mid June for 1 night @ $36.90 military cash discount. Normally $40 cash/CC. WiFi was a joke. No cable, even though cable connections at pedestal. Office assigned me a spot right next to a DP even though the park had 30 or 40 empty sites. After 1 hour I asked the office if the barking dogs where going to be addressed? She never heard the barking dogs and said the one barking dog was owned by a long time resident. She did offer to move me within the park (?) but because of more than 1 barking dog i opted to leave. I received my refund and left. I went to American Heritage Campground 1 1/2 miles away.

Our soccer team just camped here for 2 nights, 3 days. The staff was friendly and placed as many of us together a possible. We were able to have our own little compound. Our kids swam late as they extended the pool hours for us, which was great after games on 90 degree days. The pool was clean and warm. The camp site full hook ups were great as everything worked fine. It was obvious that there are many long term tenants that live in tents and unregistered trailers, but we never felt threatened or bothered. Some previous reviewers have reported tweakers and homeless camp like environment. I guess a judgemental person could assume thats what It is off first glance, but I did not ever once see any illegal activity or questionable circumstances. I would go back there every year for this tournament. It was quiet and flat for kids to ride bikes. We had a 3pm championship game and because the sites we were in, were not being used that day, they let us check out late so we didnt have to bring rvs to the soccer fields. They didnt even charge us. They really were accommodating and while not a very fancy place, our children created lifelong memories. We were able to stay up late (and were likely a bit loud with 10 pre-teens), but no one even bothered us once. I recommend it completely if youre not pretentious. Come with an open mind. It was actually a nice for us. Thank you for your hospitality.

I would NOT RECOMMEND any one to this camp site!!!!!!! The staff are very rude and very unprofessional. I was there with my kids an had a agent come up to me an ask me in a friendly manner if I had seen a person an handed me his business card an told me to feel free to call me if I do see this person as I continued to walk around the camp site with my kids I see the employees blocking a vehicle from coming in the park yelling and screaming acting very unprofessional. That is when I heard one of the staffing screaming that she knew were someone was, and was not going to tell them were that person was, the other employees were purposely trying to get ran over by the vehicle when they were trying to leave putting there bodys against the vehicle . Im sorry but this camping trip was ruined for me any my family!
