What a delightful little place! Wow such a wonderful experience here. My primary spool pin broke from my Brother sewing machine and I called Brother to have it replaced. They quoted me for $18. Then I called this little place of the West Side and they said they did not have that part, but theyd go ahead and order it for me. It was only $7! They called when it came in which was only a few days and pick up and check out was so easy. The entire process was so smooth and handled with care. They even have a little vacuum shop set up in their store. Such a cool place. This will be my primary stop for all my sewing needs :) Thanks ladies!

Quality Sew & Vac is one of those unique businesses that you rarely see anymore these days. The employees/management meet you when you arrive and recognize you when you come into the store, they offer to help you without hovering around and always seem to know what they can do for you. It is always a pleasure to do business with them even when I know that I can probably spend less elsewhere, but the service and quality is always A++.

The sewing machine I was interested in was out of stock the day I went to the store. It was supposed to have come in the shipment that day but had not. They very willing said that they would order it and have it shipped to my house but I really wanted to go home with a new machine. They showed me another machine that was just under my budget. They were all very friendly and helpful. They store and staff were very knowledgeable and organized. The Quality Sew in Olympia will be my new go to place. Thank you

This store has staff who are very knowledgeable about vacuums and sewing machines. I bought a Miele vacuum there years ago and it continues to run well because I keep it serviced there! Recently I asked for advice on updating my machine and the staff was very helpful without being pushy. The store also offers craft classes, and although I havent signed up for any yet, I have noticed from time-to-time that classes are actively engaged. Finally, in their favor is their convenient location in Olympia.

When any business hires happy, helpful and friendly employees, who appear to enjoy their work, it says volumes for any business ! I just popped in to drop off a serger for repair. They expressed concern about parts availability for a 35 + year old machine. I asked about options for replacement, and it turned into a long lunch. Had such a wonderful time looking at, and talking about sewing machines. They found me the perfect thing. I couldn’t be more pleased.

Outstanding customer service. Larry helped us. He was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a lot of his attention comparing all the vacuum cleaners available. Their prices are very competitive. We picked the Sebo Felix. He gave us detail instructions on how to operate it. It works great. The warranty is extended and we trust Quality to service our vacuum in the future. My husband and I visited the Olympia shop and ordered and paid in full for a new bobbin case for my Bernina on March 26. At that time, while working with Cheri, we asked for a price on another part. We only wanted to get a price on that other part and nothing else. A week later on April 2 Cheri called me to tell me the price of that other part and ask if I wanted to order the other part. I told her no, that at this point I wanted only the bobbin case to see if it would solve my tension issues, and that I thought the bobbin case had already been ordered. I had no idea Cheri hadnt actually ordered the bobbin case when we paid for it and had decided on her own to wait for the price. Today, April 9, another week later, I called for an update on the bobbin case order only to be told it has yet to be ordered. It was not ordered on March 26. It was not ordered on April 2. I have been holding off working on a quilt for two weeks now and apparently get to wait even longer. I am very upset.

I was outfitted with a new machine that is great quality, but not too advanced or expensive for a beginner. I’m so happy with my new machine and all of the notions they recommended and put together for me. The prices were affordable as well. I’m now a long term customer!

I have been dealing with Quality Sewing and Vacuum since May of 2009 starting in Tacoma and now with the Olympia site. The help I have received from a telephone call with a question, going to the store for a class, to get supplies or to attend a class or a special event has always been top notch. They are always willing to help no matter what with a smile on their faces. To them no question is ridiculous or silly they always help. If they do not know the answer they will get it.

Had a wonderful experience at the Olympia store today. Went in having trouble with needles breaking and tension issues. Teena sat with my machine and patiently went through a list of possibilities! I learned that bobbins werent correct. I was so impressed with the patience and knowledge of Teena and Liz. This store is such a happy place to visit.

When I moved to WA in 2007, I was looking for a sewing machine repair shop. From the moment I walked in to the Quality Store in Puyallup I was hooked. I ended up buying several embroidery machines, taking every class, and meeting friends I still have today. When I moved back to GA, I still continue to shop with Quality Vaccum and Sewing. I just bought a new Long Arm Quilting machine and had it shipped. I wish there was a store here that I could go into and visit. LOVE my Quality

Great place! We needed a new hose for our 10+ year-old Miele vacuum & they sold us a hose from a trade-in at an incredibly reasonable price. Then our vacuum 2 months later ultimately failed. Jim is a jewel & sold us another Miele with trade-in value, rebates & incentives from the manufacturer. They even credited back the cost of the hose we had to replace previously!It doesn’t get any better with this business. From start to finish, nothing but praise & appreciation. I also felt completely comfortable in their store as they follow the strictest guidelines of cleanliness.Thank you, Quality Sewing & Vacuum!

Very friendly staff who have fun amongst themselves and with customers. When you walk in, they acknowledge you by name and are always cheerful. They go out of their way to help you. When attending classes there, they have the store set up so all you have to do is bring your machine and find a seat. Amazing store. Glad Quality found a south location. Good job all around. We had researched and were pretty sure we wanted a Miele vacuum, so went here to check them out. The sales rep lady who worked with us was super - wish I could recall her name. She demoed various options and really listened to our needs, and helped us make the right choice. All was done very congenially, with no high pressure tactics. Went in to have a machine serviced and had an amazing experience. Ended up leaving with a brand new sewing machine that I have fallen in love with overnight. Liz is lovely woman and very knowledgable. She was polite, kind, understanding, and a great help. She showed me multiple machines, demonstrated how to use them, and offered to let me test them myself as well. She helped me find a machine within my price range too. I was very impressed by the friendly and knowledgeable staff. I felt very comfortable to ask questions and was shown several sewing machines that I could choose from. The staff member who helped me, Connie, demonstrated features on different machines so I could see what the options were. She never pressured me for a sale, which I appreciated. I did end up purchasing a Janome sewing machine as a result of her ability to understand my needs and budget. I highly recommend this business.

Everyone at Quality Sewing & Vacuum is knowledgeable and helpful. Ive purchased a vacuum there that we are very happy with. The salesperson was extremely knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Ive also taken my overlocker in when I couldnt figure out why the stitches werent looping correctly in the back. They spent a lot of time with me and my machine. They ruled out it needing to be serviced, and instead we experimented with several types of needles to finally find ones that worked with the fabric I was having trouble with. Ive purchased and traded in sewing machines with the Ballard location. If I ever need a new sewing machine or vacuum, or need advice or help with either, I wouldnt hesitate to visit any Quality Sewing & Vacuum location.

I am a beginner and dont know much about sewing, yet. I had a problem with a walking foot I bought here and they spent a large amount of time making sure it was the right one for my machine and explaining things that I was not aware of. There were 4 or 5 girls working and they were all so very nice and willing to share their knowledge. The manager, Im sorry but i didnt get her name, but she was wonderful! Nice shop with super nice people.

It’s great having a place to go to with knowledgeable crafty people. I purchased a sewing machine. I’ve never sewed before. They offer get to know your machine classes which are extremely helpful. I was super intimidated by my machine but felt so much more comfortable afterwards. They all sorts of other craft classes as well.

I came in looking for vacuum bags for my Miele upright. They had what I needed and the price was very reasonable. They also offer repairs/tuneups on your machine. I have also had the vacuum cleaned/serviced here and they always do a good job keeping it running regardless of the abuse I give it! (Dog/cat) hair!

I purchased a new Janome 9400 sewing machine in June 2019. It wasnt working out to my expectations and after attending 2 of the sewing classes offered the instructior, Cindy, agreed something appeared to be wrong and suggested I send the machine in to be checked out. As it turns out the main board on the machine had failed. The service department was going to install a new board but Liz (who I believe is the store manager) said no to that and she would get me a brand new machine. In the process of all of this I discovered the machine I purchased just 6 weeks prior had been marked downing price. Liz again immediately said she would refund me the difference.They provided excellent customer service and everyone on staff there have been very knowledgeable and easy to work with. They have provided me a very positive experience and I will definitely become a frequent customer.Im now happily sewing away. The sewing machine is a dream.
