I called into the Olympia Big Lots to ask if they had lawn furniture swings?I didnt have to wait long to hear the answer. This was great. They held the remaining item until I arrived.They were so helpful & pleasant.I was also surprised as this has never happened during my checkout process.The male associate told me to look at my emails from Big Lot discounts. He saved me $175 & cents.

I always find great stuff for a good price. Staff is super helpful and friendly, and bonus for having clean bathrooms!We came in for pillows and left with home decor and snacks. I guess we cant be left unsupervised! 😂If you need home organization they have lots of options, and honestly the most impressive selection of couches outside of a furniture store!

To: BIG LOTS CORPORATE & ALL BIG LOTS CUSTOMERS: My wife and I want to thank Conner (Sp?) in the furniture section of the OLYMPIA, WASHINGTON location on Capital Mall Drive. We met Conner when we were looking for a sectional sofa about a month ago. He was brand new in the furniture department at that time. He said he would put us on a list and, when the sofa came in, he would let us know. Conner kept us updated as to when the sectional sofa would be ready to purchase & pick up, as the weeks went by. My wife and I knew it would take a little time to get the sectional because of COVID. We went yesterday when it was available. He helped us load it up in our trailer & truck, too. He was very efficient and energetic. We were happy to work with this awesome customer service representative. Thank you so much Conner! You ROCK!

I just SUPER need to give a shoutout to Aimee - she was a phenomenal helper during a process of buying some urgently needed items for a new apartment. She was professional, friendly, and helped us through creative problem solving and outstanding service. She really is an incredible employee. Yall are lucky to have her, AND shes so strong! Lifting all that furniture like a boss. She seems like a very down to earth and personable person and were so grateful she was the associate who helped us!

Great location. Clean. Nice employees for the most part. However, can the employees PLEASE stop trying to sell me their rewards program. It’s not like I give them my phone number and get discounts, you have to search thru your emails to get the discount but I NEVER receive them. So I just always say no to giving my phone number. The employees get hostile and push me to give them my number. They even tried to guilt trip me saying “but it helps me out.” It doesn’t matter to me. I don’t want to give you my #. It’s so annoying and I’d rather drive to Safeway a street down where they won’t harass me.

Was fine in the store. Goto to cross from parking lot into the store, almost got hit by twenty some cars speeding through the lot. Coming from Black Lake Blvd. Short cut for them. Need to close it.

Has anyone ever noticed the folks working here have the best banter when you’re checking out? Worth it just for the conversation! Must be some weird trifecta of humor but they are helpful and always get me laughing. Store is clean and easy to find things. They have way more types of items than you’d expect. This one has a good deal of unscented laundry and cleaning products for WAY less than any the regular box stores. I always find something I love.

This location is one of the most clean in the general area. However the parking lot was full of trash outside. The inside was zoned to perfection. In terms of items, the store was kind of bare as shelves were empty and the item I was looking for was sold out. They should increase their ordering. All in all a well rounded big lots location.

Great place if youre shopping for new furniture... Slightly below average if youre looking for much else, yes at first glance, their prices seem phenomenal, but once home and opened up you start to realize that most often that is due to the quality of the product being abysmal... And the employees, somewhat to my surprise... Were seriously lacking, customer service cant even be called sub-par.

I go there to get all my foil storage bags sheets pillows and comfiters. I love this place so many things for great prices

I went to Big Lots to find a gift, expecting to find maybe some fancy chocolate or a movie - instead I found a big fluffy pillow, fancy mineral soap, several movies - and a lot of candy (including the fancy kind). I love going to Big Lota to get candy, not to mention coconut water, chapstick - and especially pillows

Love our Olympia Big Lots! Just got our 65 inch tv display and love it! Super easy to assemble and the price was amazing! Great quality and super friendly associates who are very helpful with any questions! Come here to look for your furniture as well because they have some great deals on some great furniture!

Unfortunately one of the frames broke.Sue the assistant manager had been so kind helping us load them when we bought them and when we went back and reported what happened they tried to order us a new one and took it back when they could have made us go through the factory warranty rigoramole. Thanks we will be back

Multiple non masked people walking around the entire store, employees with the mask not covering their noses. When I politely asked if they enforce the mask mandate the cashier told me you can ask people to wear them too then, I dont want people to be mad at me its not my job to enforce it at not my work. I enforce it at my own work, do the same. I get the store is short staffed and stressed and underpaid, capitalism is a cancer. But like.... People are dying of covid in our town and the mandate is there for a reason, and its each stores employees job to enforce it.

I searched the store for some twine today (My boyfriends sun flowers are falling over from their own weight) and asked an employee if they had any that I missed. She asked how much I needed and what I was using it for, I told her and she went behind her register, cut me some and gave it to me! Thats honestly the sweetest thing an employee from any retail store has ever done for me. Thats going above and beyond in my opinion.

I am probably a weekly to monthly customer with Big Lots and I have nothing against the store cause or the people work here cause I do enjoy Big Lots. They have what you need. This is not about them. This is just a general review. I have nothing negative against the workers. I go here a lot and I do enjoy coming there when I need something, but I am just giving some simple feedback or suggestions to people that want to shop at Big Lots and what to expect. The employees working at cashier are slow so expect that when you come here you maybe in line with 5-15 people for a good 10 minutes. Cashiers are very talkative. I was waiting in line once for a good 15 mintues cause someone they knew as a customer where having a conversation. Thats not a issue, but it is when theres 10 people in line that could have cold/frozen products. This happened to me a handful of times. Or maybe 6/10 times I go here I am waiting in line. I normally dont buy cold stuff at big lots so this isnt my issue but it maybe yours. This is a huge issue with all grocery stores I had noticed. Fred meyer and exspley WinCo in this town youre going to wait for 10 minutes in line with a line of people in front of you. Thats annoying if you prefer to buy cold/frozen products. At big lots I realize they teach their employees while theyre working which they should teach them how to use stuff before the store opens so they are not as slow. Theres a lot of new people that dont know what theyre doing. They should hire more people up front cause theres this one person that does everything and its super annoying to wait. They answer calls and do the check out at the same time. They should have someone answering calls separately. They have three cash registers they should hire someone up front and use it. So that way the traffic isnt backed up in the store. Thats what I would recommend to big lots.My suggestion to big lots : Please hire moreCashiers! You need them.Well, I hope this was helpful for anyone that wants to shop here.I am being honest with this review. I actually really enjoy shopping at big lots they have everything you probably need. But the service is slow. Thats my only complaint. Otherwise I like this store.

Ouch!!! If you dont want to spend every dime on a great deal..dont come here!I went in for batteries and ended up with stereosBeddingPillowsToysLampsAnd much more.Fabulous deals if you time it right especially..which I did by mistake.But I didnt mind at all. I love my purchases!!

It waa absolutely GREAT! I had 2 different Associates going to hunt things down for me that I couldnt find while walking around shopping. And then my Cashier Trevor was EXTRA helpful! After ringing up my purchases & I paid, he saw that I was struggling to pick up my heavy bags& Trevor asked if I needed help. I replied, Yes. So, Trevor took the time to kneel down & put my bags into my rolling suitcase for me.

Lower prices

I have 2 pair of shoes recently purchased from the Lacey BigLots location. Both have been falling apart after about 1 Month. The stitching is poor and unacceptable.

Prices are outrageous. This is not what I remember of this store before going inside this location.

Wow, nice store. I used to live in another area and expected to get the same service and products. Totally surprised to find a modern, well lit, organized and CLEAN store in Olympia. Yes Im going back! In fact I saved myself from going to different places for all my shopping because I did all of it at Bot Lots. 😀

I went shopping with my battery operated scooter. By the time I went to the mall and then to Big Lots, my battery was getting low. TheManager was very friendly and allowed me to plug in my charger so i could finish my shopping and get home. The store was clean and well stocked. I was able to quickley find what I came for

Its a Big Lots. They pretty much have the same stuff no matter where the locations. It is comforting to know that I can get the same stuff I like at stores in Washington and Ohio.

Found what I needed at the price I needed. I am always satisfied when I shop Big Lots!! Lots of available help, in sight and willing to go the xtra. I purchased a sheet set and a runner rug. I do like shopping your store!

We are from east coast and I love being able to get food items you can not get elsewhere. We love the foods from other countries too. They have a nice houseware section and are reasonably priced. Just take bags in that county they charge for bags. They also have a card you can sign up for that gives discount coupons to your email.

Place was a ghost town. Entire aisles were empty, and it felt like they were in the process of downsizing or closing or something.That being said, there are some awesome deals if you hunt around and compare prices on your phone a little bit.

Good place to get a variety of products at reasonable prices. Good furniture selection. Seasonal items are usually well stocked. Large food area. Bedding stock is pretty large as well.

Very good prices compared to online with most items. Youre very likely to find something and pay half price compared to a site like Amazon.
