Super helpful getting me all set up as a total beginner. The people here very clearly care for the sport itself and not just making a quick buck. Theyll work with any experience level and nearly any budget, as long as youre realistic. Go in with an open mind and ready to learn, and dont pretend to be an expert, youll quickly be humbled. That being said, do not be afraid to ask questions, no matter how big or small. I cannot recommend this place enough.

I cannot recommend Full Draw enough! The love and dedication that Deb and Kent have for the sport of archery but more importantly for passing on this knowledge and love on to others is amazing. Everyone that works there is a certified instructor with USA Archery and NFAA because they want to be able to provide the best instruction to anyone that walks through the door. I assure you that you will not find that kind of passion in a big box store! I have personally had the pleasure of supporting them since I bought my first Jennings bow in 2006 and now as I pass my love for archery on to my daughter, I can only hope that Deb, Kent and everyone at Full Draw will be around to guide her in her progress. So, if you have an interest in archery, need to find the perfect holiday gifts, or maybe your current equipment is vintage like mine and needs some extra loving care please call or stop in to see if they can help. Yes, you may be able to find a better deal online or at Cabela’s but if we don’t continue to support small business they won’t be there pass on their passion to our children and grandchildren. If you are looking to improve your skills the Junior Olympic Archery Development classes on Tuesday or Saturday mornings is the perfect way to do so for a reasonable $10/hour fee (includes renting equipment). If you don’t like big crowds, they offer private lessons for a reasonable rate or just come in and buy some range time during the week.

In the world of customer service, I totally understand the good and bad days. I am no expert in the world of archery, however I understand whats going on. With that being said, the customer service at this store was as I predicted. I was in the market for a new bow, the gentleman that helped me, took the time to set each bow up, explained his pros and cons. On top of that he waited patiently for my payment situation to get resolved. Credit card company froze my account due to fraudulent spending. It was quite embarrassing, however the younger gentleman made me feel as if I was around friends, and assured me it was just a misunderstanding... After 20 mins my bank finally realized the error and allowed me to pay. My daughter has gymnastics every Tuesday and Thursday right next door. Im in the store every night gossiping and soaking in all the information I can on bow hunting. With that being said, I can go out on a limb here and say if I needed help with....lets say a flat tire or I was stranded on the road, I could guarantee they would help me out. Ive read some of the one star reviews, and its unfortunate, however they are human. I hope other business like Scheels or Cabelas would copy this small business motto.. I dont feel as if its about the money for them. I feel as if they genuinely care about the product and the customers concerns. Im probably beating a dead horse by now, but Im extremely proud to have a store like this in Omaha.

My son was given a hand me down bow from the 70s/80s. They spent close to an hour working to get it back in shape and gave some good advice and walked him through how to handle his relic. Before we went, my son said he felt embarrassed going in with an old bow and not knowing much about how to fix it. Afterwards he was happy to have spent the money to get it working again and is excited about saving up and returning for an upgraded bow (soon!) Very thankful for patient and knowledgeable staff. Great shop, even better people.

We came in to have a look at a bow for our grandsons birthday. We do not know anything about archery. They were very helpful in showing us what would work for our grandson. They took us to the range to try out several bows and gave our grandson instruction on how to shoot as well as range rules. I was impressed with all the care and time they took to instruct each child on the range to have a good exsperiance and improve on there skills. We purchased a bow and they made sure that everything was setup and ready to go. They gave us instruction on how to care for the bow what to do as well as what not to do.Thanks for all you do in shaping the future generations to love the sport.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband and I walked in to purchase him a new bow and all the accesories for it and besides an initial hi when we walked in we were never given the time of day. As we waited around for someone to help us or ask if we needed help with something (all the employees were just hanging out chatting) someone else walked in who needed a bow looked at that hadnt been shot in years and he was greeted and helped immediately! Talk about customer service?! They just lost out on a $1500 plus sale and someone who probably would of kept coming back!!

I had some issues with my bow and went in to get help tuning it. Bill helped me and did an amazing job. He displayed a lot of care and knowledge. This store has the supplies you need and the service professionalism you would want. On a side note, Im pretty sure most of the staff is heavily involved with promoting young archers etc as volunteers and with the game and parks, so that should speak something for them in general.

Just moved to Omaha and unfortunately this was not a great first impression. Upon entering the store, we asked to have bow alignment checked and some time on the shooting range. It seemed like the other customers who were helped before us were a priority.Once on the range, there were no brief, instructions given, or sign posted on range rules or expectations. After shooting for a while with no issues, I was called out by the owner in front of everyone on the range for not appropriately straddling the line and positioning my quiver to indicate whether I was preparing to shoot or not. The woman continue to belabor the point about how this is how ranges are normally run, and yet I have been to ranges across the country that were not like this.I was not defiant and of course will comply with any rules given if for no other reason than safety...but I would ask in the future that range expectations be briefed up front if there is a particular way that the owner wants it to be run so that I am not embarrassed in front of everyone in the room. At a minimum, she could have been approached the situation differently. As a member of the military, I am well aware of range safety rules and how ranges are run, and yet I was needlessly spoken to in a condescending manner. This is poor customer service and if you are trying to encourage people to enjoy the sport and your services this is not the way to do it.

I enrolled my son for a beginners class here because he took an interest in archery. From the moment we stepped in the door we were treated with nothing but respect and professionalism. The folks that run this place are dedicated and love what they do. My son has special needs and we were searching for something that could help ease his mind and boost his self confidence. Every class we attend is full, yet he still gets one on one attention. They are patient, kind, and accepting of everyone that walks in the door. We cant than them enough for what theyve done for him.

From a novice shooter to experienced Hunter anyone can find something they need at Full Draw Archery.

Paid to shoot at their indoor range with a friend, and was interested in buying my first bow from them. The older gentleman was not bad, but also not very pleasant. The younger guy helping us pay and checkout after shooting was very rude. Very short with us, and not approachable. Complete opposite of what I experienced at Scheel’s, that is why I bought my first bow there. Wanted to buy local, but just couldn’t support this place.

Absolutely wonderful. I was very interested in getting into archery and bow hunting so I attended a course taught by the owners. The class, while very popular and full, was extremely informative and exciting.I spoke with the owners and explained how Id like to get some of my own equipment and learn more. The most amazing thing was they were more focused on getting me a bow Id love than selling me a bow. The owner told me to return another day and shoot them all to find what works best for me.So I returned to the store a few weeks later, and likely a lot more unfamiliar, but they treated me like their only customer. I was emplored to shoot as many bows as possible and they even helped my form and gave me tips so I could feel each bow out better.I took far more of their time than I felt was fair but they still helped me and found that bow that just screamed to me.I plan on bringing my family and friends in the near future and I recommend it to anyone who wants to get started from zero experience.

Amazingly helpful and pleasant staff. I went into the store with little knowledge other than wanting to hunt with a compound bow around 50-60 lbs, and I wanted to stay in a pretty low price range. Deb helped me pick out a wonderful used bow, helped me improve my shooting stance and use a trigger release for the first time. I would highly recommend this store to anyone interesting in arvhery.

Worst experience in a my life. I was literally thrown out of the store! The owners were clearly uncomfortable with me being in the store, following me around and watching my every move but wouldnt offer to help me find what I was looking for and later wouldnt sell it to me.Under no circumstances should you do business here.I was looking for a case for my long bow, they told me we dont have it and nobody makes it. Also after describing the characteristics of my bow and shooting style they told me I am lying and that my bow doesnt exist and no one in their right mind would create it.Years ago I bought the bow, three sets of arrows from them along with finger tabs, arm guards, a quick release and many targets. After shelling out a considerable amount of cash you would think the owners would at least treat customers like humans, think again. You are an inferior person to them not qualified to park in their lot.I cannot stress this enough, these people are immature, self centered and rude. You an find what youre looking for online said the woman behind the counter and I did. Go else where for your archery needs.

I dont tyoically write reviews. Ive been going to Full Draw for about 2 years; since I moved to Omaha. All the staff have gone out of their way to help. My daughter took a beginners class there and they were attentive, patient and knew how to teach well. We went there shoot for a year before I decided I wanted to upgrade out of my beginner bow.I bought my first flagship bow there. I shot a lot of bows at a lot of stores before I bought mine from them. Their customer service was the deciding factor of why I chose them. I could have got my bow somewhere else, but I didnt.I only let them work on it, i.e. put on a new rest, strings and cables.I like supporting local shops and these guys epitomize the personal attention a local shop is known for.Theyve earned a lifetime customer. I really cant say enough about them.

As anyone knows who works in retail, we cannot control what people post about us online. All I can say is DONT always believe what you read! The young man, WAS asked to leave our store....he never got any further than our rug in our front door. I am the owner who dealt with him and all I can say is hes a liar...thats harsh, but true. He was badgering an employee and I intervened. I told him to take his bow and go. I have asked the other customers who were here that day to post as well. We have been in business for 17 years and do our very best to take care of customers. We have lots of repeat, happy customers, we work 6 days a week and are self employed. Check out our website if you want more info on who we are, and we would love to meet you in person!

They carry a lot of high quality compounds and carbon arrows. Range looks nice. (Ive never used it) It will be good if your looking for a compound. They have high brand loyalty, so be prepared to try that brand. They have a little traditional archery, no wood arrows (deb said no one shoots those anymore, but open a traditional bow hunter and see how many companys try and get you to buy them, must be sales to support the advertising) and a small selection of bows mainly bear. (good recurves, longbows leave a lot to be desired)The arrow building supplies are hit and miss. Little to no fletching jigs, (no bitzenburger) not sure on veins or feathers, lots of broad heads (mainly mechanicals and lighter weights but do have a little cut on contacts and I believe no glue ons except some field points). The service is OK if they have what you need. If not go to cabelas or bass pro, because they will act like if they dont have it you dont need it. No offer to order anything if they dont normally carry it.Over all a good place for a compound shooter for almost every thing. And a nice place if your looking for an indoor range for the traditional shooter.
