Fantastic! My son and myself had a good time just shopping around. Its just too bad the rest of the world does not stick to the honor system. All in all we will definitely be back for many years to come.

Been stopping by L and A Bait for the last 5 or 6 months. Great bait for below the cost of the larger stores. Large assortment of bait all at one location. Only downfall is you do need exact $$$ to pay. Ive just tipped when I didnt have exact dollar amount.

This was a step into yesterday. I feel honored these people continue this business, and maintain a sense of honor with kindred spirits who enjoy the out-of-doors. Everything was clean, neat, well organized, and bright (lights turn on and off through motion detectors). The wells were suitably taken care of, though I would like to know what a dip of the net means (for taking one scoop or two of a type of bait) - provide what adequate looks like in a photo and what more than looks like, in a photo, as well as less than. I will continue to respect the honor system and appreciate what these folks have set up, in creating a small slice of heaven. And as with any fishing environment, I would really enjoy seeing pictures of other anglers, and their successful day on the lake (dont name it, as we dont want you to divulge your honey hole).

This is an amazing little place to go get bait!!!!! Ran by a super sweet gentleman, its cash only and they also use the honor system. There is cameras to make sure people abide by the honor system. They has every bait you can think of, minnows, night crawlers, crayfish, small gold fish, shiners, all the above. This will be the only place I get bait from!

Very welcoming and friendly owners who used to own the Millard Bait & Tackle store. On honor system so cash only but box of worms is $3 but they are very active not dreary and minnows and gold fish and lobsters were healthy. They have minnows, gold fish and sometimes sunfish and mini lobster bait. Then they have earth worms and crawdads and even a few foam floating buckets for live water bait.Honor system is you bring cash and they provide white enveloped you mark what your purchasing, insert cash and drop in a lockbox.Rather spend money for mom n pop place than a huge corporate. They didnt have tackle or supplies of the such. 6am-9pm 7 days a week.
