Wonderful little shop with a good variety of books and other cool stuff. In from out of town and glad I got the opportunity to stop by!

Friendly helpful owner, adorable and spacious. Fun book and game finds. Even the background music was perfect. A delightful visit.

Went here on Indie Bookstore Day, never had been here or heard of it before. Was very satisfying seeing a cute little bookstore with a very good selection of books for all ages. They even have different things like mugs, glasses, desk materials, games and Omaha/Nebraska inspired stuff. The owner is super nice! Definitely will be adding this to my list of favorite bookstores! If you are thinking about maybe stopping here even just to look, do it! You wont regret it!

I have been a customer of The Next Chapter DOZENS of times over the last year and it has fast become my favorite small business to support! I love the selection of books which has reignited my passion for reading. It has been so fun to chat with Shelly about books we both love. It is also a great place to find a quick gift for a kids birthday party or a card for a friend. Shelly has ordered books for me many times. In an era where we are separated from each other so much its wonderful to have personal interaction from her business.

My friend and I stopped by when we noticed it close to the cafe we were in. I’m a huge book lover so I love visiting local bookstores. The lady working was super friendly and gave some great advice on a few books in different series to read in the future. This cute store has a great little kids corner and some great book lover gifts. They also have a great best seller selection upon entry if you are curious what’s hot to read at the moment.

I love little book shops like this so I’m definitely biased but I love it even more when little book shops like this can order books for me that aren’t in their normal stock

Really nice bookstore with unique cards and gifts. The layout of the store is friendly and welcoming for casual shopping or looking for something specific. Mostly staffed by the owner, Shelly creates an experience to build a community all about the love of books and reading.

I came to this store with a friend to browse through some books. We were browsing through the collection and the place looks really nice! However, the lady who was working the front desk met us with hostility and was not welcoming at all. As we left, we said goodbye, only to be met with a glaring stare from the employee in silence. Shame place was really nice, but bad service. I will not be returning.

A great gem to the area. There is something for everyone, plus it has a very cozy atmosphere. Book lovers -do not hesitate to check it out and support local.

I came to this shop the other day hoping to support a small local business. The shop had a great selection of books and was organized very well. I was upset to see that the shopkeeper kept glaring at me and a friend while we were shopping, on our way out we said our thank yous and got nothing in return. Overall im disappointed with the service.

Stopped in because the store was on the Nebraska Passport. The store was a very pleasant surprise. They were well stocked, very clean, and well organized. The owner was super nice and very knowledgeable about books. The shop also has some other things that werent books like pencils, notebooks, and drinkware. All in all Im looking forward to visiting the shop again.

New bookstore opened up around November of last year... Small but fairly well stocked and as owner mentioned will be growing as the business picks up...Knick knacks and doodads also for sale, some really great candles also... I very much look forward to spending money here ha ha ha
