I had THE best time trying out all the dresses of my dreams at Bridal Traditions. I felt so special and cared for, especially by Becky! She helped pick out the dresses that best fit my budget and style, and my very first dress I tried ended up being my dream dress!! I highly recommend Bridal Traditions to anyone in search of high quality wedding dresses with excellent service. Be sure and ask Becky for assistance!
I got my wedding dress on Saturday!!! It was a wonderful experience. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. Melanie was absolutely AMAZING (she was my consultant). She was kind, understanding, and very patient with me and all of the questions my party asked. As a bigger bride I was having a hard time feeling like a bride, but Melanie just kept reassuring me that this was about me (and my day) and that I was beautiful. My dress is on order and I cant wait to be the beautiful bride I want to be. Thank you so much for being an all-inclusive, welcoming store! Youve made a significant impact on this whole experience for me!!!
Becky was absolutely amazing! She hit the perfect balance of listening to my feedback while making suggestions I wouldnt have imagined yet turned out perfectly! Bridal Traditions has a great selection of accessories for visualizing how the wedding-day outfit could really look. So pleased with my dress!
I’m in a wedding and the bride used another company and we had no idea if our dresses would be in on time. The gals here helped us find some dresses that fit in with the others in the wedding party and held them for us just in case we didn’t get our others in time. If I ever need a dress for a special occasion, this is where I will be heading! Thank you so much for your help !
Melanie was simply outstanding! She gave us the experience of a lifetime. Would give her 10 stars if possible! We went to one other bridal shop prior to our appt with Melanie...there was simply no comparison. She is a rock star. When someone loves what they do, it shows. We cannot thank her enough for giving us such a special experience!!
I was looking at wedding dresses with my daughter for her wedding and I could not believe the number of dresses in this place! It just seemed to go on and on! I wish I could remember the name of the gal that helped my daughter. She was a younger gal and she was absolutely awesome! She was so attentive and helpful. Were going back tomorrow because my daughter narrowed it down to five dresses but now she needs to try to narrow it down to one. Thats going to be difficult because she is breathtaking in every one of them! I sure hope our appointment is with the same girl that helped us last time!
Best place in town! Friendly and supportive, such a great atmosphere.
The ladies here are so amazing. What a fun day we had picking out THE dress. Strongly suggest going here to pick out your dress for the most special day ever.
This was the most amazing experience. The employees genuinely love what they do!! Everyone there is extremely helpful! I felt like I mattered. They went above and beyond as a team to help me out!! Joan V. one of their sales representatives and their alterations woman by the name of Kim was an absolute doll!! This is the beginning stages of my dress but I would recommend them to anyone. There was so much selection and I still found a one of a kind! This picture is before the tailoring but I love it already!
Honestly I was hesitant about going here for my bridesmaid dresses in the first place as I’ve already heard and seen first hand some horror stories with other people’s weddings but I did anyways and I’ve regretted it ever since. Almost everything they have said about the bridesmaid dresses (or the process) my girls bought has been a white lie where I find out later down the road. Also I wouldn’t have found any of this information out if I wouldn’t be calling them to check on my orders constantly. Don’t waste your time or money here, they are sales people who care about your money and they do NOT care about your wedding experience as a whole. VERY hard to work with and I will never do business with them again.
I’m super picky when it comes to clothing in general so I was super picky when it came to my wedding dress. They have a HUGE variety in different price ranges. Outside each fitting room, there is plenty of room for others to come along for support. The staff who helped did such a great job making me feel comfortable and not overwhelmed. The veil she chose for me was exactly the one I went with. Overall, super satisfied. I went with Kim as my seamstress (One of their recommended). I couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Favorite part of my day was dressing up to marry my best friend!
Absolutely do not recommend! Searching for your wedding gown and bridesmaids dresses is supposed to be exciting and magical. This was not the case, in my situation! My gown took over 7 months to come in and was ordered in the wrong color! And 4 sizes too big! My bridesmaids dresses, two were ordered in the wrong color and the salon charged me extra fees to change the color, even though they sent them out without my conformation! I was told the designer that I picked was based out of New York, and all the dresses came from China! Which was never disclosed! I take my experience there very personal, since our wedding is a very personal and special event! I was not treated as such and I would never wish the kind of stress they added to an already stressful situation.
I called and asked if they had plus size prom dresses. They said yes, I walked in and saw racks and racks of dresses... only 3 were plus size.
Overall things went fine. If I had to do it again, I’d definitely just look into one of those online shops like Azazie. I had picked the designer of the dress based on a color the designer had available. I had selected the BM dresses while at bridal traditions but wanted something a little more special for the MOH. It took me a few weeks and a couple other shops to find the dress for my MOH (wanted to see different samples at other stores). When we went in to order all the dresses from bridal traditions, the lady that originally helped us was not there (potential maternity leave?). The gal helping us essentially talked me out of the dress I had decided on for the BMs. She had a “horrible experience” with one large wedding party - none of the dresses fit right and they all sat on the bodies weird. I was a little disappointed because I loved the dress I picked for several reasons and was never warned about the style being a bad fit when I was there initially. She told me I could still order it but that there would be nothing they could do if they fit poorly again. I felt obligated to pick a different dress for the girls to avoid a potential disaster. I was able to find a very similar style for around the same price thankfully and it all worked out in the end. The whole process was definitely more of a headache than I anticipated and I wish I would have just slowed down and done more research ahead of time.We also booked our mens suits through Jims Formalwear at Bridal Traditions. We decided to book here because my husband was going to be able to get his suit rental for free because of how many we were ordering. The prices were affordable and ordering was easy. Everything came in right on time. However, only one suit out of seven correctly fit when they arrived. We had several guys coming from out of town which made this a little stressful. Again, in the end it all worked out just fine.
Joan was not only on top of everything but she was genuine and caring. I saw her 3 times before saying yes to the dress and she made each time not feel rushed and just as important. I went to 6 bridal places and this place was one of the best experiences as well as the best selection in wedding dresses. If you get an appointment here ask for Joans assistance. Such a sweet women!
Shelley was amazingly sweet and helpful for us today, and my daughter founds her dream prom dress. Five stars doesn’t seem like enough!
My mom, my friend and I went to Bridal traditions today and were helped by Joan. She was very helpful, patient and kind. We felt very welcomed in the store. She even gave us some tips on affordable wedding venues. The dresses were also beautiful and fairly priced, and there was a huge selection. Thanks Joan!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE Bridal Traditions. We were late coming into my appointment and I felt so bad however they didn’t make me feel bad at all. My stylist was extremely patient and led me to the most beautiful dresses. What I appreciated the most was the fact that I was stuck between two dresses and with very very different price points, she never swayed me into thinking the more expensive one was the one I should go with. She assured me that this was my choice and to follow my heart. I have no regrets with the dress I decided to go with. I loved the one on one I experience I had with her and the way she listened to me. She took all my concerned into consideration. Thank you so much! And to any bride thinking about shopping here I HIGHLY recommend them!
I recently purchased my dream dress at bridal traditions!! I was so stressed I wouldnt find the one but with Courtneys help I felt like a QUEEN!! I cant thank them enough!! I would give more stars if I could!! Amazing prices, and gorgeous dresses!!!
I called ahead to see if an appointment was recommended or necessary; it wasnt. I walked in, was asked how they could help me. I told them I needed 2 mother of the groom dresses. They told me it was too late to order, so Id have to pick something in stock, which I understand. They directed me to the area where the dresses were and thats the last anyone helped me. Thank goodness my friend was with to help me try on the dresses. Was never asked what I was looking for in style, length, color. Never asked if they could help me find what Im looking for. I was prepared to spend up to $500 per dress if I found what I was looking for. It wasnt just poor service, it was no service. They missed out. I went to Dillards and bought 2 gowns and a dress for one of the rehearsal dinners.
Bridal Traditions is amazing! The focus on customer satisfaction is just over the top. Joan is great! She was able to match my vibe (I think she could match anyones vibe and it would be the most genuine interaction ever) and definitely had the experience to help me with everything. We clicked super fast and I felt like I had known her forever. After not having some of the best experiences dress shopping, this was really needed. We were able to find some very beautiful dresses that looked great on me and it was fun going shopping for a dress. I even went outside my comfort zone and still found things that I thought looked amazing. The dressing rooms are huge so you can definitely stay in the room if you are a bit more shy or you can go out into a big area if you have a large party with you. Also I arrived an hour early (we had to travel a bit) and they were able to help me right away. They had my room all set up and had my name on the room which I thought was such a nice touch.I definitely recommend Joan!
I have purchased 3 MOB dresses from other stores so far for my Daughters wedding and dislike all of them. I am 9 days out from the wedding. I called and spoke to someone at the store, they ran through what I am looking for colors, sizing, height, etc. She advised me that if I found something i liked, they would be able to squeeze me in with the seamstress that same day and have my dress ready within a week. I have not picked out a dress yet, but just from the help I received over the phone, this place gets a BIG 5 stars from me for CS!!
Bridal Traditions - truly customer focused and centered on quality.I went into Bridal Traditions with very little time to spare prior to a wedding, in search of a new bridesmaid dress. They had plenty to choose from that I could purchase to take home. I was in an unfortunate spot that the dress I had purchased elsewhere had been altered, and I was stressed out by the appearance. The staff suggested I show my own dress to their seamstress. Kim looked over the dress and with confidence and kindness reassured me she could help restore the dress I originally purchased. This was a class act in my book. They could’ve easily encouraged me to buy an entirely new dress off the rack and spend far more money than I did on alterations.Kim successfully had my dress looking beautiful in about an hour! I could not be more pleased. I would recommend Bridal Traditions to anyone wanting genuinely attentive staff that make you feel comfortable and valued, no matter what you’re searching for.
Absolutely awful! No respect for the customer in this Pandemic. Not willing to work with us when the dress my daughter picked out was late. The owner is at most fault. Not willing to listen at all!! Called multiple times. Absolutely does not care!!!
Loved my experience at Bridal Traditions. Went to three bridal shops in Omaha and my experience here was by far the best. Molly was truly amazing and so helpful. I loved how I could go pick out dresses I wanted to try on but also loved how Molly also picked out some dresses that for what I was looking for. The dressing room was massive and very spacious. Overall my experience here was amazing and I would highly recommend it to anyone. Ended up buying my dress here and they even will store my dress for free up until the day before my wedding so I dont have to worry about not having enough space to hang it.
First, let me say that the store is beautiful. I loved the layout - one room had several dresses either on mannequins or hanging in a way that allowed you to see every detail. They had such a variety of dresses too. My whole party loved working with Joan! She was amazing at taking my feedback and finding more dresses suited toward my taste. She kept the whole appointment fun and stress-free. I enjoyed how she helped me get into every dress and was willing to make suggestions. She was very patient with me (as an indecisive bride) and helped me try on more dresses than I ever expected I would. While I did not end up buying my dream dress here, I did find two that I really liked and had such a great experience. I would recommend Bridal Traditions (and Joan!) to anyone!
Great experience. Molly was very nice, attentive patient and flexible. You get the option to explore on your own and with the information you give, they will pull out dresses too. I found THE DRESS. When I went in for a second time without an appointment it was no issue for me to try on the dress I liked to show my sister in law. Thank you for helping me!
Joan was amazing! She respected my budget (even steering me clear of a couple higher priced than I thought). She also made me feel gorgeous without making me feel like she was trying to make a sale. She listened and added at the right moments and helped me to really feel like a bride!I would recommend going to bridal traditions but even more I would recommend specifically asking for Joan!
I chose to start the search for my wedding dress at Bridal Traditions. I can’t remember my consultant’s name (I think it was Molly), but she was very fun and helpful. After looking at some inspiration photos that I brought, we went through the racks to pick some dresses to try on. After trying on a few, the consultant brought a pick similar to a dress I liked, and it ended up being the dress that I picked. The consultant only brought dresses to the dressing room that were within my budget, and I did not feel any pressure to purchase my dress that day. The consultant also didn’t do a high pressure accessory up-sell that is notorious at many other bridal salons. I also chose to work with one of the seamstresses that does alterations at Bridal Traditions. Be sure to ask for Kim! She did an absolutely amazing job with my dress at a very reasonable price. She was also able to help one of my bridesmaids who had just given birth with her dress, and she made the dress look beautiful. It was a very pleasant experience to work with Bridal Traditions, and I would absolutely recommend them to any bride!
AMAZING! Molly is the best. She is the nicest most patient person. She just made me feel special and listened to my wants. She ran out and said oh I have the perfect dress for you (when I was making comments about a dress I loved but mentioned things I wish were different) and I PICKED OUT THE DRESS SHE GRABBED!! Seriously, I am so happy. I made the best decision working with this company. My future sister-in-law said they altered and steamed her dress and stored it up until the day before :) I highly recommend any bride to shop here. They have a HUGE selection and the price points are well within reason $750 - 2500. My dress was $1200. Ask for Molly :)
The people who work there are great! They genuinely care about how the bride and her party feel about their choice in gowns, and they are more than willing to help find what YOU want! The only complaint I have is that they lost the measurements of my friends bridesmaid dresses. The bride was well taken care of thoughThey offered water, had much bigger dressing rooms than Davids bridal, and had a fantastic mirror arrangement for viewing the options.
I did not have an appointment at Bridal Traditions and walked in on a weekday. I met Stacey. I told her I had no clue what I wanted or how much to spend. She pulled about 30 different dresses for me of different styles, prices, colors, etc..I spent my entire morning there. I found two dresses that I LOVED and couldnt decide between them. She offered me honest advice on all of the dresses that I tried on. The dressing rooms were big and I felt very comfortable there. I decided on a dress but had an appointment at another place in the afternoon, so I wanted to go there first to make sure that my dress was exactly what I wanted. When I got to the other salon, where I had an appointment, I was asked to wait. I waited for 15 minutes before someone could come help me at all and then they threw me in a room with no help. We left immediately and went back to Bridal Traditions. We purchased my wedding gown and all of our bridesmaids gowns there. I loved everyone I worked with while I was there! They were all friendly, kind, honest, and actually cared about how I looked on my wedding day! Every time I stopped back in, Stacey made a point to come over and hug me and tell me hello. It was the BEST experience I could have ever asked for!
We had issues with our order. One bridesmaid wanted to order a size she knew would fit but they kept telling her over and over she needed a size bigger and when she got the dress it needed drastically altered. Another bridesmaid received her dress with the elastic damaged in the sleeve, they told her it wasn’t their fault and if she wanted it fixed she would have to pay almost the cost of the dress for them to do it. They have cute dresses but terrible customer service.
I bought a bridesmaid dress here and the dress was BEAUTIFUL! Their stock is great but if you are looking for any alterations to be done I would look other places for a seamstress. I had some issues with my seamstress and she sewed in straps that she was not supposed to. When I brought it to her attention she said there was nothing she could do... Then, when I brought it to the staffs attention they told me their was nothing they could do so I had to go somewhere else to get my straps fixed in a very short notice. I would only ever consider shopping here if I didnt have to do any follow up on what I was purchasing.
I bought my wedding gown from Bridal Traditions and they went above and beyond my expectations. They quickly found exactly what I was looking for because they listen to what youre looking for, my dress was in before the expected date and the alterations were quick but high quality! I would highly recommend them to anyone getting married!
My daughter and I went to Bridal Traditions to look for her wedding dress. Before going, I had read the reviews on the web and I have to say I was a little apprehensive. We went in on a Saturday without an appointment and were immediately given a room and a consultant to work with. Kelly, our consultant, was WONDERFUL!! Friendly, knowledgeable, patient, caring, fun are just a few of the words that describe her!! She made our experience so enjoyable and everything that we could have asked for. She was honest about styles that worked best with my daughters body type and allowed her to try on as many dresses as she wanted. We never felt rushed and the whole staff was just as friendly. After that appointment, my daughter was still feeling unsure and wanted to return to try on the dresses that she had decided were her top 3. Kelly wasnt working, but we were able to work the her sister Kristy who is equally wonderful and patient. Again, we were never rushed and everyone was friendly and supportive. It was on this return visit that my daughter found her dress! It was something that she wouldnt have pulled for herself, but looks beautiful on!! I cant say enough wonderful things about our experience with the staff of Bridal Traditions!! Thank you all for making this special time even more wonderful for our family!!!!
My first experience in the store was awful in regards to customer service. But, I called the store, spoke with the manager, and they were thankful that I took the time to let them know and asked for a second chance. I’m so happy I gave it to them? It was a completely different experience and I purchased my dress from them.
I have never reviewed a company before but Bridal Traditions is so much better than the other bridal stores in Omaha I had to pass it on. If you are looking for a sophisticated relaxed beautiful experience in finding your dress and all other formal attire - this is where to go. Their store is clean, open - not crowded. It feels like a boutique and not shopping for a dress in a department store. Everyone that works there is helpful!! The quality of dresses is also much better than the other stores. They have 5 times the amount of dresses as the other stores. I would stress to anyone that wants a lovely experience in finding their dress to go here!
I would rank their products and service a -10, a wedding day is supposed to be the most important and memorable day. We had numerous issues with the suits not fitting, mind you the clerk states to everyone she has been doing this for years several peoples suits did not fit or were too tight after making mention to the staff it would take 1 day and the guys would have to come back, who has that kind of time? The actual day of the wedding many of the suits had buttons popping off; luckily we had a seamstress there to help. Some of brides maid dress which were purchased there had issues with the zippers not zipping up putting stress on the wedding party. All issues were directed to the staff and of course no apologies or discounts. Would no ever recommend Bridal Traditions!
Bridal Traditions was used for a wedding I was in a few months ago. When I first went in, I was put aside quite a while, while they found someone to help. The person took my measurements and I went on my way. Then, the week of he event, I got there and the jacket they had for me was a a 52R or something else absolutely mammoth on me. They originally pushed back and them came around to finding me something smaller. As you can see in the picture, it still didnt fit in the slightest. The pants were enormous, the sleeves far too long. I looked like a polished turd for the wedding.I should note, they did deliver the second jacket to my apartment, which was nice and did a wonderful job on my wifes dress years ago, which is why I did not give it a 1-star. That said, I understand not being able to deliver an exact fit, but it needs to be not embarrassing.
This was the first store I came to while shopping for my wedding dress and I had such a great experience. The dressing rooms were huge and very nice, as was the entire store. Justine helped us and she was great, I would definitely reccomend her. They have a great selection of dresses, and my wedding dress ended up being the first one I ever tried on. Cant say enough good things about Bridal Traditions.
So so so good! They have a ton of options and made sure I stayed within my budget throughout the whole process. No pressure was put on me to buy the dress there. They made sure I was comfortable in what I was wearing and gave me great feedback.
Came here for dresses for my bridesmaids and had a few hiccups at first. Justine had top-notch customer service and was very caring of my needs, but there was a few pieces of misinformation along the way. Kristy went above and beyond to fix the issue and as the Bride, I cannot even begin to explain how appreciative I am for that! A simple, kind, conversation was all that was needed and they did what it took to make sure I was satisfied! Happy I went here and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in need of bridesmaid dresses and/or wedding dresses.
We had the pleasure of finding my granddaughters dress here! We could not be more pleased with the staff, the price, the atmosphere of the shop and the great service we received! Thank you Bridal Traditions for making it such a special day for my granddaughter!
There is a nice selection of wedding dresses, veils, shoes, etc... We first loaded 10-15 dresses on a rack and headed to the dressing room. There was plenty of seating so we never had to leave the room. Our attendant was called out of the room several times and eventually never returned. She never brought veils, had suggestions, and really wasnt very helpful. When we went to leave the computer was down so she wrote our name on a piece of paper. Im hoping she wrote down the dresses as we really liked 2, but probably not. They didnt seem all that interested in providing good customer service.
I dont know why people have written bad reviews. This place is great if you want to find a unique wedding dress. Raquel has been very helpful to myself, my family, and my friends. Everyone else in the store has been helpful as well. Ive never received bad service and they always answer my questions and emails in a timely manner. I honestly dont think any of their bad reviews are true just because of the great service I have received.
They have a very large selection of reasonably priced gowns! The fitting rooms are wonderful, displays are beautiful and most of the ladies are very friendly. They dont always have someone on staff that is informed about the Tux ordering, make sure to call and schedule a time for that. The one negative experience I had here: I wanted to try on a slip under my dress to give the bottom a little volume and the manager told me I couldnt and that it wouldnt look good. It seemed rude. As a bride, I need to see this for myself, so me and a friend had to sneak it on under the dress without assistance which was actually a task since the back of the dress is tied all the way up and not zipped. I actually like the way it turned out and I purchased that dress. Ive been in the store multiple times trying dresses on and never had anyone tell me no until the day that the manager assisted me. I would make sure to call ahead and set an appointment to get an employees assistance.
I had a great experience here! I had my own consultant who pushed around a rack of dressed I wanted to try on and then helped me into each gown in a huge dressing room that I had to myself. She was extremely nice and brought me many belts to put around my dress and veils. OverallI had a great time here and was impressed!
My daughter found her dress right away. We did not have appointment but the people who helped us were all very nice
Great experience! Friendly staff and very accommodating! We didnt have an appointment, but still received prompt attention. Julie did was very knowledgeable and her attentiveness made for a super overall experience!
Very helpful and full of dresses with the bling factor. The dressing rooms were so spacious, great for big groups. The employees were so sweet and cared about what the bride wanted and really listened.
I will highly recommend that you not get your wedding dress here. They are really nice when you first go in but then you just get lost in the process. They do not stand behind the finished product and brush it off as Not their responsibility. The beginning was a good experience but after I found my dress, I was pushed off on the seamstress, never to have anybody ever ask me how I liked my dress or how it fit. Then when I said I was not happy with the fit, they said Sorry not our responsibility.
I had a great experience. Make an appointment if you go on a weekend, because the store gets insanely busy. Elda was extremely helpful, pleasant, and patient. This was my first time trying on dresses, so she was great with finding other dresses in addition to what I picked that might have features similar to what I liked.
Similar to other reviews, the staff ordered the bridesmaids dresses 3! 3! sizes too big. So the bridesmaid dresses for me and my sister were around $300 and the alterations ended up being around $200 (I didnt even pay that much for my own wedding dress alterations!). I had to do the alterations last minute since they couldnt get the dresses in in time. Another complication is that I am not in town. Thankfully my mother shipped me the dress so I could get alterations done before the wedding! The process would have gone much more smoothly if they would have ordered the correct size in the first place! I do not recommend going here. Too much hassle and a waste of money.
My son got married this last weekend & they were very accommodating & assisted us through all the fittings. I’d recommend them to any new bride & groom for their wedding!!!
I recently went there wedding dress shopping. They have kind of a cool set-up but I would recommend going during the day on a week day in order to actually see everything they have to offer. and if u do go just make sure u are NOT with LINDA! she is rude and rushes u and is pushy and the list goes on an on. If it wasnt for her I would have bought my dress there.
Awesome experience! Made an appointment during the week, and had a consultant all to myself helping try on and make suggestions. Very friendly staff! Amazing selection as well. Love the Allure collection!
We have always gone here for bridal gowns, however renting tuxes from them was a nightmare! 3 out of 7 fit. They were supposed to be in on Tuesday in case alterations were needed. Only 2 showed up on Tuesday and one didnt fit. The rest came in later in the week and had to be picked up on Friday. The excuse was prom?! Im guessing they should have known that an April 29th wedding was during prom season. These tuxes were ordered months ago!!! No monetary compensation was given, no apologies offered, just excuses! We would NEVER recommend for tux rentals!!
I made an appointment for a Saturday morning and ended up with Linda--who was the best consultant Ive ever met!!! She had me pick some dresses I loved, but I quickly realized I hated all the dresses I picked. She went out into the store brought it dresses she KNEW I would like that complimented my body shape!! I tried 3 dresses in she picked and the 3rd dress was the one. Linda is amazing!!!!!Ive been to other bridal stores in Omaha and every other store was absolutely horrible and I wouldnt go back there ever!!!!!!!!!
Elda was a wonderful sales associate. She picked the dress out that I ended up buying. I love it and feel so beautiful in it. I would highly recommend Bridal Traditions!
They took walk-ins and had a great selection of dresses.
Fancy store, lots of bling, but the customer service stinks. We needed to buy a dress off the rack for our daughters wedding that we were planning in a short 6 week time frame. We went in during the week, there was absolutely NO ONE in the store, except for two clerks. Neither of them greeted us. When we told them what we needed, one of them simply pointed us to an area near the front where we could purchase a dress off the rack. We were there for nearly 30 minutes, struggling to figure out if there was anything that would even work for my daughter, and NO ONE even bothered to check on us. We walked out. I bet they didnt even know. Simply NOT impressed. Too bad, because we have another daughter getting married in May...
Outstanding customer service from everyone!!!! Awesome selection of MOB dresses as well!! Highly recommend!!!!!!
I was honestly very hesitant to look for my dress here bc I had a mediocre at best bridesmaid experience a few years ago but Brandy H. was WONDERFUL!! She was so great! She listened to what I was looking for and was a big part of why I said yes to the dress there!
Unimpressed. Dont waste your time looking for bridemaids dresses here. I to bridal traditions because it had a designer I was interested in. They didnt have half of the designers dresses, had zero organization, and we were provided little help. One girl in particular was nice until she found out we were not purchasing the dresses that day. We were provided much better service at Davids Bridal. I plan to purchase the designers dresses we found at bridal traditions but I will purchase them elsewhere. I dont give companies my money who dont treat me like they want it.
I purchased my dress from bridal traditions today and had such a great experience! The staff was very friendly, not pushy at all and super patient. The selection here is incredible- they have sooo many dresses! And they have prices that’ll fit about anyone’s budget. I’d absolutely recommend checking out Bridal Traditions ❤️
First, I had to tell the person we worked with multiple times of what we wanted. Somehow a week later I would still get an email clarifying what we wanted even though I had previously told her. I can understand maybe one, but MULTIPLE TIMES, no. Maybe if she would have wrote it down, she could remember. We went to pick up our tuxes the day prior the our wedding and we left with only 3 out of a total of 9 tuxes. The remaining 6 did not fit even though we all went in prior to and got measured. My tux (the groom) had the sleeve hemmed partly into itself . I mean this is something that you could have not missed, just complete sloppy work.I would strongly recommend finding another place to do your business with.
Very good and efficient consultants. Excellent selection.
I’m just a guy that went in for a tux for my sisters wedding. I couldn’t be less impressed. First off my 4 yr olds tuxedo looked absolutely atrocious. The pants were way too baggy and we were told that’s just the size we had to fit him. The shirts were not of any quality and I’m not sure how you can put your name behind whatever was going on with those shoes. At least try and put a smidge of shine on them. Finally, it is incredibly inconvenient to be closed on Sunday but demand the tuxedos back before 5 on Monday. Luckily Monday is a holiday but otherwise it would be impossible to accommodate their demands. If you don’t want full service on a Sunday at least give us a 3-4 hour window to allow for tuxedo returns. I would not recommend this establishment to anyone I know.
Joan was amazing and so sweet!! She made the appointment so much fun, was very knowledgable, and overall made me feel so beautiful. If youre looking to make an appoinment, I would definitely reccommend Joan.
I am VERY disappointed and frustrated with Bridal Traditions. When I went there to look for a wedding dress they were very friendly and welcoming, I found the perfect dress, it was sort of peachy colored and I was able to order the same dress in an ivory color. I ordered the ivory dress on April 29th 2017. I was told it can take between 4-6 months to get the dress in. The lady I worked with said sometimes dresses have been known to come in earlier than 4 months, which I wasn’t worried about as long as I got my dress on by the end of October (the 6 month mark) I would be fine. I called about a week before the 6 month mark and was told the dress should be coming in within the week. About 2 weeks later they said shipping was delayed and it won’t be until mid November. It is now November 29th, exactly 7 months since I have ordered the dress and now they are saying it won’t be in until December. I have expressed to them that I do not have my shoes, veil or accessories (my wedding is now 4 months away) and that I need to see what my dress looks like before I can purchase those items. They keep reassuring me that it will be here soon but I am finding that hard to believe. This is absolutely ridiculous that it is taking this long, I will never recommend this wedding dress store to anyone now because of the lack of knowledge of the staff and the empty promises they have given me.
I had a great experience at Bridal Traditions, had an appt on a saturday and worked with Lori, she was fabulous! she searched for dresses that I wouldnt have picked and suggested I try them on even though they didnt look like what I wanted on the hanger. She was spot on!Judy has been very kind and helpful and gone out of her way to answer my phone calls even on vacation to help me get a dress from a designer she doesnt carry out of New York. People dont just bring in a new designer for you but Judy has been more than happy to work through the details so I can try on this dress.I live in Lincoln and had to go to Omaha to get a bridal store that cared about the details for me.
Unimpressed. 2 bridesmaids dresses bought from this store. They tell European sizes when the dresses clearly show U.S. sizes on the tags, its ploy to get more of your money. Why is it that signs in the dressing rooms state the seamstresses are paid cash only? Doesnt seem like a legit business practice.
When I first tried on the dress I actually went with I absolutely LOVED it! It was so stunning! However, I wasn’t very fond of having a zipper and much rather had a corset instead. I was told that this was okay and that the designer can make the dress with a corset OR a zipper. I also wanted to add some extra boning to the bustier to accentuate my curves that I love so much! Then the dress came in and it had a zipper. I was very disappointed because I purposely ordered the dress a size smaller to accommodate having a corset instead of a zipper, as a designer myself, I knew that I would need it to be smaller to show off the silk privacy panel and prevent any bunching. I talked to a manager and they fixed that situation at no charge which was nice of them but when I came in after my dress was finished being altered it was a nightmare. The corset that was added looked very cheap and the boning was placed poorly which created a pooch in my lower abdomen...the pooch got worse if I sat down and got up. It made me appear as though I was pregnant!!!!! I addressed my concerns to the seamstress and she told me that it was all in my head, that I was just stressed out from the wedding, we are all our worst critics and that I looked beautiful. After she left the room my MOH’s both told me they thought the same thing but didn’t want to hurt my feelings...I mean what was I supposed to do anyways...I was leaving town in two days to get married and had absolutely no time to get this corrected.... it gets worse....The day of the wedding is finally here and I didn’t get any but one pic of my bridal party and I getting ready from the photographer because we are trying to figure out how to get my dress from bunching up in the front and the back. I was also 45 min late to my own wedding because of this so my husband and his bridal party got more photos than we got. Midway through the day my photographer informed me that my belt was hanging by a thread on one side so she had to take it off on the other side for me so I didn’t look like an idiot.Did I mention it gets worse???Yes, it definitely gets worse because one of my cousins who was a bridesmaid is a celebrity and posted a photo of me with her and her daughter on her Instagram in which people are asking me if I’m pregnant! I had to change my settings on my Instagram because I had people I didn’t know telling me that they hoped I ordered a salad in a pic I posted of my husband and I eating, that they bet I ate all of the turkey legs at Disney World (that’s where we got married) and asked me if I actually wanted to be a fat bride? There was a story on Starcasm, OK Magazine and a few others where I am publicly shamed for the poor work that was done with my wedding dress. Keep in mind that my cousin has 2 million followers on her Instagram so if only 50% of those people seen this pic that’s still one million people!!!! Not counting the press publications! Talk about being publicly humiliated! I’m not even bragging about this, I’m embarrassed to say the least! I honestly could have done a better job altering my dress but what bride has time for that while planning her wedding?I hate the way my dress looks so bad that I now have to pay a photographer to re-take some of my photos so that I have some photos I can actually feel confident about. I obviously also have to re-pay for someone to alter my dress, do my hair and my makeup because I feel so awful about how my dress looked.I can’t believe how upsetting this situation has become... after paying over $400 for them to alter my dress I have to pay to get it altered again on top of other expenses because of how bad it turned out. I honestly wish I would have read the reviews before going there. I only went there because a fellow designer I know worked there at that time... I really wish I would have just gone to David’s Bridal 😔I’ve added photos so you could see for yourselves
Not much to choose from off the rack. Nice employees though.
BE CAREFUL.I have a large family and I knew that I was going to bring an entourage no matter how many times people tell you not to... I wanted them there, and they were fantastic..(thats besides the point). So the first time that I went to bridal traditions I brought 3 of my friends so that I could find a style that I loved and knew what I was going for before my appointment with my entire family. I had a girl named Taylor as my consultant and I LOVED HER. She was so sweet and helpful...but...when I came back with my family,Taylor was on vacation. I had came back SPECIFICALLY for this dress...but in the middle of me trying it on and my entire family watching me and me trying to decide if THIS was the dress that I was going to marry the LOVE of my life in....another consultant comes over with the people she is helping at another appointment and asks me if they can look at the dress..I dont mind showing off this beautiful dress on me that I will hopefully soon be walking down the aisle to my future husband in... I was over the moon excited for this dress...and they ask me to take it off so that this other girl can put it on...Let me tell you one thing about myself... I am not bridezilla, nor will I ever be. But when you take someones future dress off of them so another girl can try it on right in front of your face before you have even had a chance to decide, it was the most unprofessional and hurtful thing that I have ever experienced...Not everyone encounters experiences like these. And I really hope that if you do go here, that you find someone as sweet as Taylor was to me. But be careful in the way that they respect you. This is the happiest time of your life. You should be at a place that wants to honor and respect your wishes and has your feelings put first. I will not be purchasing my dress from Bridal Traditions and I will never recommend anyone to purchase their future wedding dress from there.
The employees were rude and made condescending remarks to you as you were trying on the clothes. They also purposely went up 2 sizes on every dress in the wedding party so that they would require alterations (Very unethical and disrespectful business process). The dresses were also cheap quality and some even broke during the wedding ceremony (Including the brides wedding dress). The suits were not much better. Many of the shoes rented were not the right size, and there was not really enough time to reorder before the wedding. Many of the suit jacket sleeves were way to long and made us look like kids in suits. And many of the shoes laces were extremely worn and some broke during the prep period before the ceremony.Overall bad quality and bad customer service. I recommend staying away from this shop.
I would recommend really reading the contract that you have with this business as there seems to be hidden fees.
Worst first dress try on ever! Had an appt and the lady at the desk said let me find someone to help you since Im the only one here. I made an appt so there should have been someone there. The girl they gave me didnt help at all besides getting in the dress. No suggestions or help what soever. We had to search by designer and unless you are a sample size 12 nothing will fit and you wont know what looks good on your body and the girl said well you will have to imagine it a little bit. Save yourself the time.
What an amazing experience! My Mom and I scheduled an appointment a week in advance and were pleasantly greeted when we walked through the doors. We were instantly met with our consultant, Elda (I highly recommend you request to have her) and then we went into our room to discuss details. Within 10 minutes of actually looking at dresses, Elda had picked four that were exactly what I had wanted, all under our price range.Needless to say, it took us less than two hours to say YES to the dress and I couldnt be any happier with our experience at Bridal Traditions. Thank-you to Elda and their staff for making it such a memorable day!
Elda at Bridal Traditions was amazing! She was incredibly helpful and informative on the phone as well as in person. When I went in for my appointment, I had a pretty specific idea of what Id wanted (I explained over the phone) and Elda picked out several style similar to what Id envisioned prior to my arrival at the store. When I started trying gowns on, I realized pretty quickly that the style Id wanted wasnt working as well on my body as I thought it would. Elda was patient, adjusted quickly, and although we did a total 180 on styles, we found my dress in record time. I really liked that before we went out to show off dresses to my mom and friends that she took a moment to let me rate the dress myself before everyone else inserted their opinions and that once we were out of the dressing room she stood back and gave us that time to us to talk and laugh. I appreciated every second Elda spent with me and would highly recommend her (and Bridal Traditions) if youre looking for a wedding dress in Omaha.
I got my wedding dress and bridesmaids dresses there as well as the tuxes through them. Such a great experience there.
I was there about 2 weeks ago. Linda helped me and was very abrasive at first. I saw other reviews and I think she is misunderstood. I too, felt rushed and unspecial at first. After 4 or 5 dress of my picking, she pulled dresses she thought Id love. After 7 or 8 I felt discouraged. She PULLED MY dress. She knew exactly what I wanted and when I cried, she even cried with me. Yes she was pushy and aggresive, but you need to be that way in that field with indesicive brides and competition. The whole staff was amazing and kept telling me how gorgeous I was! Definitely will be dressing the whole party here!!
After an absolutely horrible experience at a Davids Bridal in Orlando, Florida (my family lives there and I was visiting) Ive been super apprehensive about visiting another Bridal Salon out of fear of recieving the same treatment. I had 2 people recommend this salon and I decided to take a leap as my wedding date is creeping closer every day. I made my appointment and then waited for the day to come. With my Best friend, and Future MIL in tow we went in to Bridal Traditions and let me tell you, from the first interaction our experience was phenomenal. As we were waiting for my stylist we browsed around the show room, and another employee was helping us out ( I honestly cannot remember her name! She was an older woman and her name started with a J - She was absolutely sweet, and nothing but helpful!) She decided to bring us back and help us pull dresses from the rack so we had a starting point. From the time Elda started helping us, up until the end she was helpful, and insightful about the dresses I tried on. She asked me questions about each dress and how I felt about it to get a better feel for what I liked. At first I thought I didnt want a strapless, but I quickly learned that in reality I did! She was extremely helpful, and made me feel beautiful with every dress that I tried on - her feedback was always honest, but never rude. after trying on about 5 or 6 dresses we were down to the last one, and I was between two of them - I was really loving the dress I had on and Elda got me a veil and some other accessories to try with the dress - I absolutely loved the dress. She said she saved it for last because she was sure I was going to fall in love with it. She let me go out in to the main area with the dress on to look in the bigger mirror (I opted to have my Future MIL and Best Friend in the dressing room with me) The same woman who helped us before ( I feel really bad I cannot remember her name!) came over and asked if the dress I was wearing was the one I was going to buy because I looked absolutely gorgeous in it. When I told her yes, I think so she was nothing but ecstatic. Once I had made the decision, Elda actually let me wear the dress for an additional 20 minutes while she filled out paperwork, up until she needed to measure me. Then she made up a board that said I said yes to the dress snapped some pictures and had me sign a release if I wanted them to share it on social media (I did!) we said our goodbyes and I thanked her profusely. I have never walked out of a store feeling as good as I did - everyone made me feel incrediblely special, compared to how I was treated previously. I felt like the ladies at Bridal Traditions saw me for more than my pocketbook, and genuinely wanted me to look and feel stunning on my big day. I look very much forward to working with this Bridal Salon going forward, and I will be singing these praises for any brides to be in the area that come in to my life for quite awhile! TL;DR I had a bad experiance at another bridal salon, while apprehensive about trying again I found Bridal Traditions - the employees are fantastic, and I walked out feeling exhuberant about working with this salon, and Im sure you will too!!
Great service and selection
I was beyond unpleased by the customer service this place has. On both trips in to this store I was treated with limited help since I was only looking for a bridesmaid dress. Most recently I went in to pick up a bridesmaid dress that I received a call my dress was in. When I was waiting at the counter the staff was bashing another employee because of a customer phone complaint. Once I was acknowledge the lady could not find my paperwork and started to get snippy with me and kept saying well I dont know what to do since I cant find your paperwork. I kept repeating the information she needed (name, day of wedding, etc) and she couldnt find it. I told her what the dress looked like and she finally went to the back to look. Needless to say she came up with my exact dress, with my name on the paperwork with the specific date I gave her to look up. And she never apologized and was less than warm with me considering it was her companys mistake of lost paperwork. A dress that cost me $160 was not worth their business and I will not return when I need further dresses!!!!
Tried to get measurements for an out of state wedding and these idiots want to charge 16 dollars for a service fee. Terrible
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE!!! We made an appointment two weeks in advance, drove 3 and a half hours and had the absolute worst experience of this engagment. It was understaffed and what staff was there was rude. We had to help ourselves at every step and left when a staff person came into the fitting room, while the bride-to-be was unclothed, rummaged through the dresses and took two out that we had not tried on yet. Save your time and go someplace else
Very rude!!!
