This is the best place to go to find all of your scouting needs. They have everything from merit badges and advancement awards to pinewood derby supplies and everything in between. And dont forget about all of the camping merchandise. The local council is also located inside the store to take care of all of your registration and unit needs. And the staff at both places are the best!

I showed up just before closing time and I didnt have a clue what I needed. I was helped without feeling rushed and my questions were answered very well. Thank you for your help. Now the work starts for my son to get his car finished.

The ladies on the weekend are slow and irritable, and after waiting 15 minutes in line I did not get the answers and the solution i came in to be served. I wish Mrs. Amy would work there again, not sure of her last name. She really helped and upholds the scout spirit. Please hire more agile and able people...not body shaming but we had a lot going on and a 5 minute stop (tops)should not have taken that long...urg

Very friendly staff. You have to be buzzed in which is a little strange but was able to find everything I need. There is also a very small museum section.

Good customer service, but its a Scout shop. If you are or have a Scout, then you know what it is.If you dont, you can probably get same at REI, etc

Gottschalk Scout Shop always has great gear and a friendly helpful staff that goes above and beyond to get what you need.

One star because they dont allow you to shop without sharing personal data. In order to shop here, you have to give them your name, address, phone, email, *childs* info, and scout rank, and then they track every time you buy something. Doesnt matter what form of payment you use. And you cannot shop for boy scout stuff elsewhere. They control all scout merchandise, so you can only go to scout stores like this or their online site. Once my son lost a rank patch. When I tried to replace it, they wanted me to fill out all this paperwork as evidence that a parent was doing something not allowed. Even the U.S. military doesnt lock up their rank purchases (google it), but this scout shop will make you feel like a criminal over it. Youd think for an organization that is shrinking so badly they have a plan to recruit girls (again, google it), theyd make shopping with them a pleasant experience.

Very nice boy scout shop. Hubbybis collecting certain items from councils we travel thru. I was impressed with all the memorabilia thruout the shop.

They have exactly what you need and just the people to help you find it!

The staff of the store is helpful, but the staff for unit organization is terrible. Very unhelpful and at times rude.
