Absolutely great experience. We spoke with salesman Doug and he was incredible. Here is why... we explained we are looking for resale value. We needed low expense with higher resale perception. He was educational on what colors do what, as far as making rooms seem bigger, and matching laminate snap wood floors with what color of carpet. I HATE to shop. And I bet we spent 20 minutes there. My kinda shopping. Wasnt just fast, it was educational and fast. Which is what you want. We told Doug what we were after and he fit our needs. Highly recommend the company, and HIGHLY recommend asking for doug.

Experience started out great. Our salesman was very knowledgeable about the flooring and even came the same day to measure. We then had to call Carpet Land for a week to try to get our quote, when we finally did receive the quote 8 days later it was incorrect. Salesman was unapologetic and honestly didnt seem to care to help us at all. Customer Service could use some attention.

If you ever visit here please ask for Doug!!!! He breaks everything down from the type of carpet you can buy, padding, and pricing. He takes his time with you and is not pushy! The team who came to put our carpet in was GREAT! They were quick, friendly, and didnt mind us peaking in on their progress. I will be purchasing from Carpet Land again and Doug will always be my go to guy! Oh and Doug was so personable and gave free life lessons to my son which I truly loved!

I could not recommend Carpet Land any less. Communication was basically non existent, I had to CONSTANTLY call for updates as they wouldnt update me otherwise. If I could give zero stars, I would.They pushed off initial install by 2 weeks because pieces were broken, even though the tile arrived at their store over a week before initial install date.Once they did come to install (showed up at 4PM instead of 8AM like expected), they tore up out existing tile (almost the full 1st floor) and only then we found out we had the wrong tile. They claimed it was ordered correct but sent to them incorrect, when they should have checked that it was correct before sending it to my house and having someone rip up the floor.While waiting for the correct tile (see pictures attached of how our house was left for over a week) I spoke to the owner, Mike, on the phone multiple times, each time he acted like I was bothering him and was very short. I couldnt get any sort of refund for this major mistake until I physically went to the store. The only reason they agreed to refund me (which I havent seen deposited into my account in 2 weeks) was because their supplier gave them a discount. The only discount I received was an insulting 3% of our total cost! Mike completely refused to take responsibility for this mess. If my wife and I didnt notice it was the wrong tile, they would have installed it and then had to come back, tear out again, and install the correct stuff, so we basically saved them money. Even if you ordered it right, you should have some process to verify its correct before sending it to the customer!When tile did arrive, we found out after a day that they didnt order enough (even though they did come measure ahead of time), and we would have to wait even longer.When the final batch of tile showed up, they dragged out the install process and only agreed to finish it in 2 days (they only had a couple hours of work to do the 2nd day) because I demanded they finished it immediately.All in all, this was a 3 week disaster where we had no stove, our fridge was completely out of place, no toilet on our main floor because of this, and they had to come uninstall/reinstall our laundry 4 times due to different delays.To cap it all off, on the last day, a couple of the workers stole a couple cans of pop from us! Yes its only a couple cans of pop which cost $1 at most, but its the principle of it. If I walked into a grocery store and grabbed a pop then left, wouldnt that be stealing?Horrible HORRIBLE experience. Theyve lost a customer for life.

I have nothing but good things to say about Carpet Land. More specifically, good things about our salesman. Tim White is fantastic! He drove an hour to come and measure for us instead of us waiting longer for installers to come and measure. He is trustworthy and punctual. He does what he says he will do. The carpet install was speedy and the crew that installed it did a great job. We will always choose Carpet Land for our carpet needs! They definitely show up in every aspect!

Went into Carpetland back in March. Was pointed in the direction of carpet and flooring. Other than that I had no help. I took a few samples home. Called Carpetland, spoke to Rodger about pricing. Do to miscommunication on Carpetlands part they are now (6 months later) trying to tell me flooring was special ordered for me and I owe them $4000. (I never asked to purchased anything.) They did not have my name, address or any payment information. The only reason they now have my information is because I actually went back to Carpetland (6 months later) and tried to actually purchase some of the flooring. The Manager is now blatantly lying, saying I was shown product in person and knew I was ordering special order product. None of which is true. I also never received an invoice until all this happened (six months later.) and it is was not in my correct name. I tried to reason with them him and work something out. Mike refused to listen and threatened to take me to court. After I finally received an invoice I called their billing office and the gal I spoke to agreed with me. They had nothing on file...No payment info and the name they had on file had not been my name for 34 years. (Im guessing they just did a google search) She said she was going to try and reason with Mike.Now I have been turned into collections. I strongly suggest you do not do business with this company. A company that makes up lies to try and get money because of an employees mistake is very disturbing and untrustworthy to me.

Fast and friendly, found my wife the perfect tile and carpet where we just couldnt find anywhere else. Family owned too.

Colors and types of hardwood flooring.. from the browns and grays.. just take a look inside! They will help you with suggestions, and SAMPLES!! Unreal.. they are out to please you and make your decision easy in flooring!

I’ve been given the opportunity to use this company on a few different occasions. I’ve had horrible issues with install crews, no showing, staples left everywhere, scratching up my trim, wrong carpet being ordered after weeks of waiting, and the worst customers service. After working directly with the owner Mike I thought we’d get resolve. Needless to say my house guests could hear him screaming at me from another floor when I simply called to find out where my installer was after they were 5 hours late and no phone call. Folks, go elsewhere as these projects are stressful enough to begin with.

If your looking for (cheep) carpet this is the place to go. they have many colors. the people are pretty nice there.

No fancy frills. No B.S. I left there feeling as if we were treated fair and honestly. I hope we can go with them for our upcoming flooring project.

Could have used a higher degree of professionalism from the sales side. Human stuff like miscommunication happens. This was next level.They weren’t the cheapest, but we chose CL because they had our selections in stock and scheduled us the soonest. Neither ended up being the case.We had mix ups at every stage, first the tile wasn’t on the order. Then the tile crew didn’t know what went where. Then the wrong carpet was sent (though we chose everything in person and even took pictures, somehow it didn’t get entered). On install day, no one had even picked up our carpet from Lincoln. On the first rescheduled install day, no one told us they weren’t actually coming.Cue the storming off from the owner when we went to RE-select our choices. It was awkward to say the least.Echoing another review about COVID safety-- specifically at the retail store in Omaha, only a couple of employees consistently wore masks.Would I recommend them? Maybe, the final product does look fantastic and the install crew was top notch. But consider whether you’re cool with that level of drama + living out of a suitcase in your own house for an extra week while the sales staff argue and scramble.

Absolutely 100% will not be a returning customer nor will I recommend anyone. Right from the start Doug said both floor and carpet crews would be there and done in a day. A week later the floor crew showed up two weeks later I had to call to get floor guy in and that took 3 days to finish. When I called Doug I said the floor isn’t finished he blamed the floor crew then said the rest of my products I was missing would be ordered and on the truck the next day. 5 months later unfinished product and when I told Doug the late fees and he should take care of some of the rest of the bill he threatened me with collections. Totally unprofessional for being a customer service company. Word of mouth will get around and I have already referred 3 others else where and will continue.

These guys dont goof around. I got there for my delivery and they had 8 guys ready and on it! Heck I had to be careful of being in the way because they were so on top of getting that unload done. Very impressive.

Best selection in town. More carpet in stock than anyone in Omaha. And Roger is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Bo too! Save yourself some money and get better surface than at the bigger stores.

We recently had new carpet installed and we have had nothing but awesome experience with Carpet Land. Roger on the sales floor was super helpful and definitely knew his trade. He took great care of us. Arial (spell check) came out with his crew today and had our entire house carpeted in less than 2 hours. They worked super hard and were very professional and kind. Thanks to the whole team at Carpet Land! Can’t wait to get our vinyl plank floors installed next week!

Outstanding service, advice and pricing!!

Stopped in to check out carpet styles and get an estimate, walked in and out in 20 seconds then back in and back out three minutes later. I saw nine people while in the store and six of the nine were not wearing masks, two of the non-maskers being employees. As a hospitalist physician, I don’t have the luxury/privilege of being able to pretend COVID isn’t very real. I do not appreciate the store’s contribution to my “business” and won’t be giving them mine.EDIT: COVID viral particles remain in the air for hours. I can’t safely walk through the showroom aisles seconds/minutes behind multiple people who have just passed through the same space without masks. Hard to buy carpet without safe access to view samples. I walked in and out and twice because I REALLY wanted to support a local family-owned business. And genuinely felt dramatically less safe there than I do working with COVID patients at the hospital. Also, while practically irrelevant, may be worth pointing out none of the unmasked people I saw were practicing social distancing. I left in angry tears. Watching people suffocate sucks. Way less than actually suffocating I’m certain. And way more than wearing a mask. I know that part for sure because I’ve been wearing one almost continuously for seven months. Please please please reconsider the value of your customers’ health and safety.

Jared was wonderful to work with! We were looking to sell our house and our realtor recommended him! He made it very easy to select the carpet for three of the bedrooms and we had it ordered and installed within a week!

We came in on a Saturday afternoon and saw numerous employees with no mask on. I counted five maskless employees at the front desks, and at least two other maskless employees walking through the store with maskless customers. We had to dodge an employee with his mask so far down below his nose that we could see his mouth as he talked with a customer. We had to dodge another employee as he carried his mask in his hand while walking by with another customer who was also unmasked. I wouldn’t go back here again for anything.We were helped by Roger who was very nice and knowledgeable, and he wore a mask properly the entire time we saw him. He’s the one saving grace and the only reason I’m not giving one star.

Extremely poor experience. Poor communication from top to bottom, beginning with measurement, then sales, accounting, instillation, and management. Tons of errors were made with our instillation, and many calls, trips to the store (and I had to take extra time off work so they could correct the instillation).You get what you pay for. Spend a few extra bucks and go elsewhere. There are plenty of other negative reviews saying similar things- buyer be warned!

I just walked around this place for over a half hour. I was planning on buying flooring found some that I liked. No one came to ask me to help. although customers that came in after me because they were known to the sales people were helped.

I used Carpetland to replace stairs (2 sets) and bedroom carpeting. Kevin was a great help; gave me an estimate when I gave him rough measurements. Once I was closer to ready for carpet installation, he came out to our home, measured (in about 10 minutes!) and had a firm bid to me later that day. Once I approved the bid, he had his installation team out the next day. The installation team arrived on time, were careful when moving things over our newly finished wood floor, communicated with me when they had a question. I wasnt sure they could access the basement stairs from the newly refinished wood flooring and they assured me it would be no problem if they had to come back later and do that part of the job. They were so flexible and willing to work with me. They finished in an extremely timely fashion. I was incredibly happy with the entire process. Thank you, Kevin and your team for making one part of my renovation so pleasant.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful staff. Overall very happy, however they REALLY need to update their computer systems! Every time it seems to take at least 15 minutes to check out (literally!).

Beyond satisfied with Carpetland and their excellent customer service. I needed our carpet replaced (extremely last minute) called on Wednesday 7/3, day before Fourth of July and they arranged to have our carpet replaced by Saturday, only 3 days later! Not only were all sales associates incredibly helpful, they went out of their way to get us in-stock carpet at a great deal! (Arranged plans with a driver to grab from Lincoln since it wasn’t available in Omaha!) the entire process was seamless and stress free. And the carpet looks wonderful! Would definitely recommend!!

Everyone was friendly we worked with. John that installed our flooring was really great. Overall a good experience. Only issue was communication between sales, measuring and installers.

We have used Carpetland for multiple projects (both new construction and replacement flooring) and highly recommend their materials and services. The quality, selection, and pricing of flooring is far superior to any of the other vendors we consulted. The installers were prompt and did a great job of communicating during each of the projects. The sales staff was very knowledgeable and helpful in selecting the appropriate flooring for our needs. We wont buy flooring anywhere else.

Couldnt possibly be more pleased with our experience. Bought here before and thats why we are back now. Rick Adams greeted us immediately and applied no pressure, which wouldve had me turning around and leaving.WE asked him for help, told him what we were looking for and a price range. He took us right to where we needed to be, explained the differences, and not once did he try to waiver fro. What we asked for. We took a sample, and are going to return to purchase the carpet and pad. If you havent looked there before, give them a shot.

Installed our vinyl plank flooring incorrectly, the installer admitted to this. Never would come back to fix it. So they since a second installer to correct, he came for 3 hours and fix two boards, said he would could back to Catpetland as he said the floor need to be fully replaced to be fixed. They never came back to finish the repair and said it was not their fault. So I have a floor falling apart and base boards that are no longer attached since they never came back to fix it.

Just bought a house and needed all of the carpet/linoleum replaced. Every interaction from the original visit to the showroom to the final installation was great, including working with my realtor and I to schedule the measurements before I closed on the house. The final product looks amazing and I can hardly believe it is the same house.

Very pleased with the carpet quality and installation. The stairs were a particular challenge and they made it look great. Very pleased with the pricing and will call when there is more carpet to replace.

I was informed to go to Ceramic Tile Works across the street by my contractor. They were not helpful at all so I asked about carpetland to the sales rep. He said they had a little. Turns out they had a HUGE selection and Chuck ... the one who helped me out had so much knowledge on ceramic tile-yet claiming he was not an expert! He even gave me information on the distributors since I was trying to match a tile and told me to check and see if they have something on hand...and if so...they would order it for us! So glad I went across the street to see what selection they had!

Absolute nightmare from beginning to end. We recently remodeled our basement, master bedroom and bathroom, and the floors in my daughters nursery. We came to the store on a Saturday morning and spent about 3-4 hours picking out all of our flooring, carpet and tile for the multiple rooms. When we called to follow up on the order there was no order to be found. The person who was helping us completely lost our order and all of our choices . In addition to losing all of our flooring and tile choices, someone came out to measure our basement family room for carpet and our bar for flooring and those measurements, too, went missing. Not only did they waste a substantial amount of our time having to come back and re-measure (I had to take time off of work for both measurements) they oversold us flooring for my daughters Nursery and refused to take it back claiming it was a custom order. Through the course of our remodel we were told on several occasions that we could return any tile and flooring that was not used, even if the boxes were opened. At no point in time where we told the flooring chose for her room was custom. We are now stuck with an unopened box a flooring. Never again will we use carpetland!

Extremely disappointed. Purchased some backsplash tile and bullnose and the tiles did not match. They have done nothing to help me after I have used them to floor my entire home and counter tops; repeat customer. Customer service and customer satisfaction........zero.

None of the staff are wearing masks and no social distancing. I left before I ever actually went in. Seeing the staff through the door was enough. Here I come Kelly’s Carpet Omaha.

Carpet was good quality. Customer Service was AWFUL! Carpeted our whole home. The installers were rude, fought with each other, constantly called their foreman (who left 30 min after he got here) to tell on each other. One installer left for a hour and a half in the morning, and two others left before the job was done leaving the worst worker of the group. They were here for 12 hours. Carpet bunched, seams were visable, doors werent put back on properly, corners were tucked under the baseboard, trim wasnt put back, carpet wasnt tacked down in doorways of kitchen and bathrooms, you could feel things underneath the carpet you walked, and other areas didnt get tacked down. Im sure I missed things, but Im sure you get the idea.No one followed up with us to see how things went and to collect the other half of the carpet. We finally called a week later to complain, they offered to have them cone back out to fix it. 3 hours later things were somewhat better, but still visable seams. Not the best install job. Completely unorganized for claiming to have over 75 years install experience. The job cost us half a years worth of house payments, and an unlimited amount of stress....l would not recommend them for any job. I will strongly discourage anyone to use them for the rest of my life. We work hard for our money as do the rest of you. Save yourself the trouble and heartache and DO NOT buy from this store. Its not worth the hassle and you deserve better!

I recently installed wood floors in my house and had the opportunity to work with Mike Mertz at Carpetland. Everything was top notch from beginning until end. Mike Mertz was transparent as can be in the way he conducted business, and the quality of the wood flooring I went with is incredible! If you want quality service and product from beginning until end, I would suggest you go with Carpetland and insist you do business with Mike Mertz!As far as having my wood floors installed, I went with Mike Hansen. His quality of work speaks for itself. My newly installed floors are like a work of art, absolutely incredible! Ive never seen such perfection go into a floor. I feel very fortunate to have my floors done by Mike Hansen. Its hard to put a price on the quality of his work, but he did outbid six other contractors I looked at.
