I been coming here for years. The staff here are amazing ppl. Loretta and Dan always super cool and friendly to everyone. They have cheap showers. You can wash your cloths at their full service laundry mat that has an ironing board as well. They cash checks. They can repair your truck. They have an amazing waiting area if you want to snack and just relax with expensive lounge wear to sit back on. Their bathroom is top notch thats always clean.

Wonderful gas station. Clean rest rooms. Used the scale for a DITY move and had outstanding service.Apple barrel has good food too. The menu is pretty small in variety but it was awesome and we had great service. (Picture is not how it was served, I combine my breakfast food)

Ate at the diner they have in there. My daughters chicken strips tasted like fish, there was a tablespoon or more of butter on her half cup of corn that never melted and my hamburger had no flavor. I left a tip because the waitresses were very friendly and the tea was good, but for $27 I would have liked a better overall meal than just the french fries. Dont waste your money.

I hardly ever give out 5 stars, but this place deserves it.Its a truck stop, so expect the worst, right? Not at the Omaha Sapp Brothers. Expect the best. Everything is clean, lots of truck parking, great deals on the loyalty card.However the very best thing about this place is the staff. In four visits, I have not found ONE unfriendly staff member. Not one! They are all friendly, all the time! I have been to hundreds of truck stops, and am not usually impressed at all. This place is helpful, friendly, well laid out. Great shower. Great restroom. Good prices. Great selection of truck driving supplies. It has an old-school layout, but more than you need from a modern truck stop. Well done, Sapp Brothers. Well done.P.S.-To all the other truck drivers who think they have no space or a small lot: You are wrong. They own the caddy-corner lot. Between all 4 lot areas Ive seen on their property, theres gonna be an open parking spot. Just dont be in such a hurry that you dont look.

I wouldnt reccomend you guys to take your truck for service at this location, i brought my truck for get the aligment done, and balance, they didnt fix but it was more worse the before, never ever bring your truck for services

So we didn’t get gas only stopped to find food and Lucille’s fried chicken was definitely good. I would’ve given it five stars but this place is too busy not to have rotating fresh food more often.

Worst Experience i had in the shop, stay away from them, they don’t know what they doing, went in with a problem in my truck and left with the same problem after 5 hours working. the lady in the office is rude and didn’t care about our problems

Not the cleanest over priced gas station around. Ive been here 3 days waiting for a delivery time and have been watching a minimum wage guy wiping gas pumps off for customers as they approach the pump. Sounds good right? Sapps doing stuff to help stop viruses. However, only that customers pump is wiped. Most of the customers do go into the store and all of them share the same handle. I asked the guy why he doesnt include the door handle in his routine and he said he was told to do gas pumps. He is very good at not doing anything extra. Mostly he just stands against the wall.Meanwhile, in the bathrooms, there are empty soap dispensers and a counter that hasnt been wiped since Ive been here. (Pile of gritty soap still there)

Very pleasant experience with truck shop, repaired my air leak fast and price was very reasonable! I wish there would be more shops and more mechanics like that out there for us! Great specials and I paid my entire bill with points that I’ve accumulated over time. Managers are knowledgeable in what they are doing, definitely will be back!

They are working tirelessly to keep the parking lot accessible with the bad weather and clean interior with what seems to be endless mopping.

Do not come here for any service. Sat in the bay door for 3+ hours Megan while she seemed nice didnt seem to really care either. Tell them guys to smoke less so they can be more productive. A little bit of respect to come tell someone something would have been great. So basically if youre a door swing that wants the door off just come here to get a service PM. The guy at the front counter. Brought up a truck getting 10 tires. Youre kidding right? 3 hours for 10 tires?

Only gas station Ive run into that charges full price for a cup of water at their fountain drink dispenser. Cant fill up my own bottle cuz of COVID so Im paying 1.79 for a styrofoam cup. do what other stations do. charge 50 cents or just let me have it free (was free when I could still bring my own cup in)

Welcoming place. Very clean and have had sanitizer at the door since the start of the pandemic.

I went in because I thought the valve stem was broken and they told me that only the extension was broken. They could have changed but they didnt. Thank you for your honesty.

Upon calling i was told itd be a 2 hour wait for someone to get to me. I waited for 3 hours before someone called and told me that they didnt forget about me and itll be a while longer. I waited another 2 hours for someone to show up and when they finally did he didnt have all the parts necessary for the job. Then he tries to make it better by saying he wont charge me for having to go back and FIX HIS OWN MISTAKE. All in all it took 6 hours for a tire change and i was charged way more than i was told on the phone. Piss poor service with piss poor prices. Youre better off doing it yourself.

Small truck stop. Not many spots to park but I didnt have any complaints. Apple barrel was good. Old but clean big showers. Staff were all really nice including Josh, he was really nice. Seen him all day while we were in and out all day on 3/8/20. Cant remember his last name. Old and a little ran down but it was a nice stop in my opinion.

Absolutely the WORST SERVICE ever experienced in 20 years as a truck owner. Ive been down for more than 6 days, waiting on a filter to show up. Rude, unprofessional workers and management. Wasted time and money, with no positive results. If you value your time, equipment, and money, NEVER COME HERE. The restaurant was equally disappointing. Small portions, overly-priced meals, nasty tables, and unprofessional workers. Had to wait 15 minutes AFTER I ORDERED IT, to get my glass of iced tea. And to think, this location is the Corporate Headquarters of the chain. I will NEVER RECOMMEND ANYONE STOP AT ANY OF THE LOCATONS.

Didnt bother to tell me theres a difference between the diesel fuels on the main truck island so the corporate and made me give them my corporate card first before fueling. Usually the system does the check first before fueling. Ending up with a transaction over the fuel discount for $1.858 per gallon agreed upon fuel price. So it wound up being will over a $1 more a gallon.

Nice travel center to stop by. Located in my hometown. They got almost everything you need. You can even walk down the street for fishing in a beautiful lake.

Cant say anything about the food, but the bathrooms were super clean. The toilets has heated seats with bidet options (including massage 😂). Staff was super friendly. You dont find that at many truck stops.

Very dissatisfied with the service! Ended up missing load. Shop said they could get me in and repaired right away. Just needed a brake chamber replaced. Took over four hours. The mechanic that finally got started on my trailer 2 hours after getting it in. Got started and ten did who knows what fit the next hour and a half. Till the next guy come on and started his shift. Then he had to finish the work of the first guy. Im very disappointed. Because this cost me my good paying load!

This is an all-inclusive truck stop/gift shop/restaurant with great customer service. Truck parking is slightly limited but the amenities make up for it. The showers are very clean and accommodating, the gift shop has a much better variety than several Ive seen during my travels and in my opinion, you must try the Chicken Fried steak at the Apple Barrel restaurant. They sell tires and it appears they have a repair shop (but I didnt go exploring). Check it out, and sign up for rewards! Safe travels!

Had a good experience here. Super nice people. Good enough amenities to keep you busy. Showers were clean. Susie was really nice and welcoming. Will be back.

Free steak dinner with a PM service! All of the employees were really courteous and very polite! Great showers! A very nice truck stop all around! I havent ran the road in over 20 years and I try to avoid truck stops except for fuel and showers and service. I will definitely not avoid Sapp Bros in the future. It was a very pleasurable experience in a sea of unpleasant experiences.

I give 5 stars to repair shop i called for issues with my tractor and trailer. i was In-N-Out in 2 to 3 hrs. I wish they had more parking spots for trucks. They have Restaurant as well. Next time Ill try eat there.

This is the worst truck stop around. Food was lousy. Waiting for about an hour to get my food. Never stopping here again.chicken was completely burn. Ruined. French fries had a ton of salt on them. Need a cook who knows how to cook. Whole meals ruined.

EXCELLENT fresh pizza!

Broke down about 45 minutes from their omaha location and it took them 6 hours to get a service truck to me. It was 9 at night on a Thursday and they showed up at 3 am. Idk what they could possibly be doing for it to take that long. Just awful.

I was amazed at the repairs, speed, quality, of the shop, they kept me informed. The women behind the counter were top notch. Of course everything was expensive, overall a good experience.

Nice little truck stop for its age. Could use a facelift. Broken tiles in shower room. Shower room was clean. All three ladies were kind and courteous. Would recommend.

I like Sapp Bros. I really do but, Ive been setting here for 5 hours to get a tire fixed. They just now pulled the truck in to fix it. Definitely wont bring another truck to this shop for anything. Well its been 7 hours now and truck has been in the bay for 2 hours.

Wasnt crowded at pumps at 3:00 am driving. All the guppy drivers were tucked in so quick in and out. Not a great deal of parking though fyi dryers take hours and hours to dry

Nice, clean,friendly truck stop. Unfortunately Not much parking. Shop was friendly and got our TRUCK fixed quick. Friendly staff in the shop also ( we were assisted by the night and morning crew). Will stop here again whenever in the area!😀

They were a little busy, but service was prompt. Ive eaten a lot of Reuben sandwiches, but this one was the best Ive had in a number of years. The pie was good too. A+ from me.

Two stars taken off the top because of paid parking. No its not helpful to the driver, its screwing the driver out of $10, $15, $20 he could have used for something else. Left to park across this rather busy street. With no crosswalk in sight. Another star pulled for lack of safety.

The food was good at the restaurant but the service sucked. The waitress took her time and was really slow. We had to ask for lemon for the tea twice. Wouldnt eat here again just because of the service!

Location and traffic can make getting in and out a little difficult, but the service is worth it. and the bacon wrapped porkchop on a stick is worth trying.

Shop work was done on time and estimate reasonable. Showers are CLEAN and comfortable. Friendly people, nice to have chapel on premises

This is the crappiest place to be nobody here gives a s*** I came to get two of my trucks and a trailer inspected for DOT and they gave me the run around telling me to come back at 1pm came back told me to wait till 200 beacuse they were busy. I didnt get my truck in till 300 and if it wasnt beacuse I came into the office to check the status of the trucks they would of never pulled them in to do the inspection. A waste of time do not recommend. I rarely write reviews but this experience was worth the bad review.

Weigh same equipment with 42800 pounds freight. Tandems were closed means in first hole. Am also having scales on trailer tandems and drive axles. I know i was not overweight. Tried to weigh it twice at this location, ask lady abt the wrong numbers scale was giving me but every-time i did it gave me wrong readings. Then i tried at CAT certified scale. All is there on yellow slip. Will never scale here as the scale is not working properly. Plz take care of it.

Im based out of Omaha and Im there every Friday. This is my favorite place to visit, the staff are like family. They do there job well but still concerned enough with there customers to sit and talk if they have the opportunity.

This place reminds me of an old fashioned mom and pop truck stop. The employees are very friendly. The bathrooms are clean. Showers are nice but theyre pretty expensive at 15$ luckily a driver heard me ask and gave me a shower credit since hes a local and fills up there often, thank you Mr. Anonymous!!! Theres only a few truck parking spots at the actual plaza but before you enter theres a lot thats owned by them. So lots of parking. Theres a cafe and subway but they dont stay open 24/7 I would definitely stop here again!

Horrible place. Got there after fixing something in their Council Bluff location across town. The first location rewired the 12v socket just to understand it was off due to low voltage circuit protection. We tried to replace the alternator at the Freightliner dealer in Omaha. After this didnt work out, my driver ended up in this shop. To remove the wire the other shop put and charged $100+, we were charged $50 (2 min job), to check the alternator (load test- 2 min) another $50. Why? We asked to replace the alternator, not to confirm it is bad!So before we even touched the alternator, we spent $200 between those two location. At the end of the day, this ordeal cost over $600. This shop will itemize every breath they will take and every gas they will pass at your expense. Every 2 min task turn into half hour min charge. The guy at the front wouldnt extend any courtesy in light of the other shop (also Sapp) mistake.I will never send my trucks to this location. Stay away!!!

BE AWARE OF THIS SCAMMERS.They said with oil change I will have free PM Service and theres include up to 3 filters. But they charged me for battery test 49.99$ and for filters 105$ and they messed up my lug nuts and they charged me another 60$ plus labor 90$ and what does it mean shop supplies ss 48$? Plus delivery/pu everywhere is free but they charged me 40$. I dropped there my truck around 9am and planning to pu next day but theyre called me for a lot of BS, so I decided to come and see whats going on. So at 11am they charged me 413.94$ for 2 hours labor. I believe all this reviews are fake. I used to buy diesel from them too, every week almost for 1000$ because I have NASTC card, now Im not going to their truck stops at all.

Ive been to others and they are much better than this one. I had chicken parmesan the noodles were dried out like they have been sitting around at a buffet all day. toasted bread with butter on it play eminem even that was better have a webcam with a salad I probably would have been a lot happier but that was it .. Total waste of money!!

This Sapps is a huge let down compared to all the other ones I have used. I thought this place would be the best since cooperate is down the street. The parking is filled with drops, the store is a mess and the shop, lets just say I have waited for 8 hrs now and counting. There was a truck over the pit in front of me, not an oil change but some other 2 hr job. I just cant believe this place being next to cooperate.

Id think that the location closest to company HQ would be the cream of all their locations. Even though the store is nice and the merchandise well organized, the fuel islands in good maintenance, and friendly staff are helpful, this location lacks the property layout for me to rate 5 stars.The closest truck parking spaces are very tight and limited, and if you have to park across the street or across the 4-way intersection, you have a walk to get to facilities - something the average male driver wont make which degrades experience value for other drivers. Female drivers are less likely to frequent a stop where they have to cross one or more streets at night just to use the restroom.Also food choices are limited to snacks overnight due to closing of the restaurant and Subway. Even the hot food by the fuel desk isnt served all or almost all night. My visit was between 5 and 6 am and I had to settle for cold snack food for my breakfast because I had to be on the road just as Apple Barrel was posted to open.While I do like other Sapp Bros locations, I doubt Ill be in a hurry to return here before they do some major upgrades to site design and add hot food choices during the early morning hours.

The showers cost $15, that’s at least $3 more than any other truck stop and they don’t even provide soap dispensers. If you charge $3 more than your nationwide competitors[who I’ll stick with going forward], not only should you be the best, but you should have the same, if not more, amenities

I was very disappointed with the customer service over the phone. I called asking about the eclipse glasses and she was very rude interrupted me because she was annoyed that people keep calling about them. Im extremely upset about how rude she was to me.

Transflo scanner was broken, meaning Ill have to make an extra stop today. Okay for parking but if your day starts at 4am, go somewhere else unless you want to go to work hungry. Not only does the restaurant and the Subway close at night, theres nothing in the deli, and not even heat & eat sausage biscuits in the cooler. Totally disappointing.

A great place for breakfast! The store drink prices are somewhat of a ripoff though.
