Disappointed! Attempted to voice a concern with swim instructor and deck manger on duty neither one willing to bend. Manager contacted me the following day. I informed her of what happened and expressed that we initially enjoyed taking classes but didnt feel our concern mattered to the staff.

We stopped by the other night and picked out the basics for our upcoming scuba certification. Nick was very helpful, knowledgeable and patient with us. Had a great experience and cant wait to get certified.

Recently went through scuba class with Diventures and had an amazing experience! Ive done resort dives in the past with bad experiences that felt rushed. Diventures takes the time to teach you correctly and made sure I was completely comfortable in the water! The staff are committed to the customer experience and made sure I was all setup before my trip to complete my certification dives. HIGHLY recommend taking a scuba class here!

Took in my dive gear I’ve had for several years to be serviced at Diventures….after 5 weeks of not getting a call and myself calling and talking to several different staff members on the phone not one said that my gear could not be serviced at their facility. When dropping off my dive gear, there was also several staff members at the front desk and again no one said that they could not service my gear. I had called several times and no staff members said they did not have my number in my account that I set up through diventures with my number and email to contact me. I am now less than a week away from my dive trip and I cannot use my gear at all due to the requirements my abroad program requires. I would not recommend this dive shop.

My husband and I are certified, but wanted a refresher course as we had not been on a dive in a long time and were going on vacation. Diventures was able to get us in quickly, outside of their regular class time. Erica was our instructor. We were nervous and realized that we didnt remember anything when we got started. Erica started out in the classroom. She gave us a recap of the course, then summarized everything we were going to do in the pool. The majority of our time was spent at the bottom of the pool. Erica was very patient. She has a way about her that helped calm our nerves. At one point, I was very nervous to do a technique and asked to go up and talk with her. I was super nervous and did the technique at the top and did not do well. She gave me an exercise to do that helped my mind and body to calm down and I was able to complete the technique successfully. In the end, but of us felt confident and were ready to go on our dive on vacation. We were so glad we did. We had all of the techniques and verbiage fresh in our minds . I cant imagine if we had tried to go on a dive without having taken this course. We will definitely do this again and will request Erica.

Every part of the certification class was top notch and I couldnt be more impressed with Dave and Stacie as instructors. The class room discussions were kept engaging and the pool sessions were paced perfectly. I am very impressed with the facility and the staff. Will definitely be back.

HIGHLY recommend Diventures swimming lessons! Amazing staff and teachers! In the matter of 12 months my daughter went from zero swimming skills to making an outside competitive swim team. Small classes, knowledgeable teachers and attentive staff.

Had great experiences with the servicing of our dive computers/reg and on the sales floor for purchasing fins. Were were able to test our computers and a couple types of fins, in their pool, no additional charge(including using their BCD and reg). Thanks for getting us ready for our next dive trip.

My kids who are 4 and 5 have been going to Diventures for the past few months and thanks to Marsha, they went from not being able to swim at all to now swimming at an intermediate level. We absolutely LOVE Marsha and her approach to teaching. She knows how to encourage the kids and make learning fun! We highly recommend Diventures for anyone looking for a place to start swimming lessons.

My son used Diventures for his Red Cross Lifeguard certification and they made the process very easy and their great staff coached him well to ensure he was confident and ready for the certification. I would highly recommend Diventures!

Great place to seek help with your outdoor swimming adventures or to use their indoor heated pool. Jim helped with fitting a mask and snorkel for our Caribbean travel adventures. He prepared our purchased equipment so it was ready to use when we are ready to snorkel - removed oil from mask, fog protector, selected correct snorkel and mask to meet our personal comfort level. They even have wonderful trips planned that you can join and will take you diving. I love to swim so this will become a frequent and favorite place to visit.

This place is fantastic.My wife and I are moving to Florida and plan on scuba diving there for many years to come. The staff here were more than happy to answer all of our questions and show us all the products that are available.We talked about scuba certification and what the required steps and prices are to get there. We also talked about becoming Divemaster certified and being able to teach scuba once we move.The prices are good and there are a few different options to choose from. They also have an introductory class (currently $75) that introduces people to scuba and gives them a taste to see whether or not they will like it.They also sponsor open dives (dives outside of DiVentures) and offer trips to go on that allows us to accumulate dive hours and vacation at the same time.Finally, the staff are scuba-certified and dive for a living. So they are way more than sales personnel. They do this for a living and understand the passion.Overall, we will always go through DiVentures for everything.

I took a snorkeling class at Diventures yesterday and it was a blast! The instructor handled the age disparity in our group of 5 (6 to 76) easily, gradually introducing us to our equipment and the skills necessary to enjoy the sport. Cant speak highly enough of the whole experience.

I cannot say enough good things about Erika Roberts and JoAnn Haack from Diventures. These two ladies went out of their way to make our trip to Belize one of the best trips we have ever taken. If you are considering taking a diving trip this is absolutely the way to go.

I loved it! I took the weekend class for open water diver certification last year. It was really fun and I felt safe and comfortable with the instructors. They were extremely personable as well as professional. I cant wait to book a trip with them.

Nice pool and nice facilities. Our daughter has been taking lessons there for almost 2 years. Class sizes are limited to 4 kids so they get a lot of personal attention.

Child took lessons from 1 1/2 years old until 4 1/2 years old year around at Diventures. Loved the lessons. Went to just summer swim lessons at different place for the past 3 summers where there was 10 kids in a class for a 45 minute session. A few months ago decided to place him back in the year round swimming lessons at Diventures. Very pleased with my decision advancing really quick and he now swim team. Believe the monthly cost is reasonable. If sick I just email a doctors note and I receive a credit for lesson. Love the auto enrollment cause his swim spot is always guaranteed even as he advances.

When our 7 year old started swim lessons in Jan 2013 it was a fight to get him to let go of the adult or wall he was holding onto into the water...now just 4 short months later he is swimming the entire length of the pool unassisted! The confidence, technique and water safety hes been taught at Diventures have far exceeded our expectations. Our 8 year old has also really perfected his technique in the intermediate class with Ms. Karen. He no longer looks like hes half drowning when he swims, he now has a beautiful stroke technique. In fact, they both have improved enough to be on our pools summer swim team, theyre so excited and were beyond satisfied customers!

Me and my brother took the Try Scuba class with Dave and had a great time for our first scuba experience. Unfortunately, we both caught the scuba bug and upon finishing the class enrolled in the Open Water Certification class with Chad and enjoyed our experience the whole way. We both will be looking forward to advancing our scuba diving through specialty courses and a lot of that has to do with Diventures, their staff, and the way they conduct business. Great experiences all around.

Your child may be in the water for less than five minutes during a 30 minute preschool lesson (assuming there are four students in his/her group). At $80 per month, that is basically $4 per minute of instruction or $240/hr. To really make this worth while, you really need to take advantage of the family swim times to further the instruction and give your child more time to work on the skills If the instructor does a good job explaining what they are working towards at the end of class, you can really use this to help develop your childs confidence and ability.

For the amount paid for swim lessons, one would expect much better customer service. This place is sub-par. We enrolled our son in the toddler swim lessons for two months and he had a different teacher each time we took him into a class. This wouldnt have been a problem except that our son has difficulty with change. Almost every time we went in, we had to calm him down and get him use to the new instructor. The only time we feel he actually learned something was when Tiffinie, the department head, taught one of his classes. Definitely would not recommend. If you are looking for swim lessons for your little one, any other place would be better than Diventures.

! - Do not enroll in automatic payments - !We had 2 young children enrolled in swim lessons for several months. The only pro is that the facility is nice, and clean.Cons:* Instructors have all seem disengaged, and despite giving multiple half-hour lessons in a day, they still need to look at their lesson plan frequently.* As I stated above, lessons are only 30 minutes, minus a 5 minute summary for the parents at the end. If you also subtract the time wasted by the instructor, you have a maximum of 20 minutes of instruction.* 4 kids per class, which would be fine if it were a longer class, but since theres only about 20 minutes of teaching, our kids got about 5 minutes of instructor time, per session.* Very expensive considering the limited instructor time.* Challenging to withdraw and cancel payments, 30 days notice required.

My son Jay has learned so much at Diventures. He started 2 years ago afraid of the water. Now with the help of Mr. Kyle he us doing great and loves to swim.

Swim team prep instructor currently isn’t as nice as Chase and isn’t that friendly either.

My son has taken swim lessons here for months. I had to reschedule his lesson today and they refused to reschedule it unless I bring in a doctors note! I am just out the money. Very, very poor business practices. We will be going elsewhere.
