I LOVE my new windows & patio door from Omaha Door & Window!!! We have used them in the past for a garage door install. The whole process of purchasing such big items for my house made me a little nervous, but with the help of the salesman I got the exactly what I was looking for. The installation crew was top notch, by being there on a timely manner, very professional team, cleaned up, and being very helpful in answering all of my husbands questions while doing the install. ODW repaired my garage door Oct 14th. Repairman arrived on time, explained very well everything needed and repaired to my satisfaction. He explained to me ways to maintain the doors. I will contact for any future new or maintenance.

I called another company to service my door and they came out and told me it would be a week for parts to arrive. A week passed and they called back and told me they would be another week for supplies were not in yet. I called Omaha Door and Window right after and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Bart was my service technician, called before arriving. He was able to fix my door in 20 minutes and was very prompt and professional; also saved me close to $700 by going with them. ***UPDATE 1 month later***I discovered damage done to the trim surrounding the garage doors that were installed. I called and asked them to resolve. They sent someone out to take a look at it and agreed the damage was their error and promised to fix it. No word from them since. I suppose now that they got my money, I wont hear from them again and Ill be left to clean up their mess.*****************************Based upon my experience, I highly recommend OD&W! The communication while waiting for my install was great!The install itself was wonderful. The service tech gave me 30 minutes notice that he was on his way. When he arrived, he greeted me, told me what the process was and how long it would take. He was very friendly and professional, and even cracked a joke or two!Payment for the deposit and the finished project was very easy as well. They were very accommodating!Great work, team!

I was very happy with my garage door experience from Omaha Door. Carl did a great job of helping me decide what I needed. Miguel was so professional installing it. He was honest and told me he didn’t feel comfortable doing the frame repair. They sent another gentleman (I apologize I can’t remember his name) to do the frame repair and he was a true artist. My patio door which I bought from this company was not sliding open or shut very smoothly; it was sticking all the time. The company said that a service call would be $150 (if I remember correctly) and parts if needed, would be extra. Service person took the door out, said the wheels were rusted but the screws were rusted also and they couldnt get them out with a screw driver, sprayed lubricant on the wheels, put the door back in, and left. A week later we the same problem. So we (a 70+ couple) took the very heavy door out, drilled out the screws, tried to find replacement wheels at our local box stores, failed, put new screws in the wheels, and put the door back in. Ordered the parts from this company and when they finally came, took the door back out and replaced the wheels. So we paid a bunch of money to learn how to take the very heavy door out!

I believe Richard is the best in town at what he does. He is so good and talented, he could install a door with one arm tied behind his back. He installed a screen door and fixed a second door. Then he exchanged a handle and the toe guard. His customer service is top notch too.

It was easy to set up an appointment for someone to look at my window and they came out promptly. It was taken care of within a couple of days. The employees were professional and explained everything thoroughly. Problem solved! I would recommend to anyone with a window issue.

Our home is about 20 years old, and some windows have been leaking and are drafty, esp ones that face into bad weather. I had estimates from two of the well known, national companies, and their prices just floored me... I guess everyone succumbs to these insane estimates and just goes ahead with what they offer. Interestingly, both companies never returned any of my phone calls, as I had more questions. I decided to try ODW, as I had used them to replace a front door and garage doors in my previous home. Well, I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. The price for 4 custom windows was 1/2 what the other two wanted. They came out and measured twice, and order was placed. Took 2-3 months of prep (just like they told me). They just came out about 2-3 weeks ago, removed the old ones and installed the new ones, in about 4-5 hours! They were clean, efficient, friendly, and seemed quite knowledgeable. They tidyd up after themselves and left no residuals. They returned at the end of the week to install exterior trim. I AM VERY, VERY SATISFIED with these new Provia windows, and ODWs crafstmen. Make sure you call these folks BEFORE you sign on the dotted line with other companies.

He explained all the options, but with no pressure. Never got any information at all! Just a huge waste of our time working with this group.I rate two stars because no one was outwardly rude, the rep Matt L came to perform an estimate on time, one star, and was friendly and nice, two stars. Then three or four weeks later I said Where’s that estimate? Call, get someone who “passes it on” and I never hear back. A week goes by so I’m practically begging now I write to the main front desk asking for the estimate!? He calls and says Can we set up a time to talk?I really don’t need to have some weird meeting when all I asked for, and what the camping says they’ll do, is get an estimate. I guess they got the estimate and didn’t think they should share it with the customer!I understand being busy which is why I called them, then wrote them, and after two months I’ve never even heard back from anyone about our estimate.Pretty pathetic if you ask me. If you don’t want to work with small time home owners don’t send anyone out. Now I’m months behind. I will find anyone other than this business to work with. I shouldn’t have to beg for something. I wish I’d never bothered with their Shop local scheme.

So, I called ODW, and after speaking with a customer representative, who was very informative with answers to all my questions on replacing parts on my current motor versus replacing the motor with a new one, I scheduled an appointment to have their service rep come and quote for a new model. This representative was also very kind and knowledgeable on the models and options we were looking to upgrade. After installation, the guy who installed it, took time to go over setting up the new remotes and keypad and answer questions. The new garage opener is way more quite than the previous one. I am very impressed with Omaha Door & Window’s products and services, and would highly recommend them to everyone!

These guys were awesome!!! We had another window place out before and they screwed up so we had these guys come out and fix it and then we had these guys install upstairs windows!!! And will have them do the basement windows along with a front door and garage door!!

Chris was just at my house to do an estimate. He was scheduled to be here at 10am. He called at 8:15am asking to come early. I explained that I made the appt at 10am for a reason. He persisted and I agreed to let him come early. He barely introduced himself and made himself at home at my kitchen table. I had to reiterate to him what he was quoting. He then wore his shoes through my house. He barely explained anything and while writing the quote had his mask around his chin. Terrible first impression that is not going to win my business.

Wonderful experience! Lance was the salesman and he was professional, friendly, and honest. The cost of the door and garage opener was exactly what he quoted me. Kelly installed it and he was hilarious, friendly, and a great worker. He did a beautiful job. He was wiping prints off the front when he saw a small area that wasnt quite perfect so he went back in and corrected it. Our new opener is so quiet that I was sitting on the stairs right next to the interior garage door that I didnt even realize Kelly had opened the garage door and left. Our door is very solid with excellent insulation and will help keep the house warm this winter. We are so pleased with this work! The cost was great too - we expected a higher price and were so pleased with the value we received.

We have been using them for the last few years. They have been very responsive, friendly and efficient. The last problem was that it wouldnt go down. It took two visits but am happy with the results. We will use them again.

The problem with the garage door leaking on the bottom corners has not been resolved. The technician said it was do to the cement . We havent had this problem for over 20 years. I have a hard time understanding how the leaks could be caused by the cement. Also, let me know that the seal on the door is good. Not sure how the water is getting in.

I called to get a garage door spring and was told to bring the old one and they would match it. I drove there and a secretary said everyone had left. It was snowing, Nebraska in winter, weird, but I was told to come to the shop, they gave me directions and 20 minutes later only the secretary is left? Fortunately, Norms door service had a little more courage and got me what I needed.

Three different technicians claimed they had adjusted our garage door and it still did not go up and down smoothly. I was promised a manager would call. That call did not happen until I called several times. Overall a cheap product, poorly installed, with a warranty that covers very little. I encourage you to hire someone else.

My new steel door wasnt the exact same size as the old wooden door because steel doors are only sold in 3 inch increments. This caused some trouble with the opener being in the way of the door that didnt exist before. It took a little time but ODW worked through it to make it right and I now have a fully functional working door. It looks great too.

This company is awesome and honest. Which is rare. My garage door broke and two companies said we needed a new one with one estimate of $750 and another (Precision) with 3 estimates the lowest at $400. Gerry from this company showed up and fixed the problem, lubricated the chains and put new light bulb in for $85 all in less 1/2 hour. I highly recommend using this company and ask for Gerry!

The man who worked on the door was just awesome! I could tell he REALLY knew what he was doing.We live 25-30 miles from Omaha so that had to be factored in.But he had the entire spring assembly dismantled in 1/2 an hour and the new springs in and the door operational in 45 min. The man is just VERY good!He brought a helper who was a nice guy but did really nothing, In fairness he was new. The main guy did have him spray the tracks and springs when he was done.Point is, because the door is 10x10 the automatically send out two guys, so you get billed for two guys...The bill was UNREAL!!!I told him I bought both openers for less than what theyre billing me to replace a spring!!He did say that he felt like the spring on the original opener was too small for the door and he up-sized it.Im very happy with the work - very unhappy with the cost.Lesson learned. I should have attempted to get an estimate before having them out.As good as they are Ill not be using them again, and my wife is a Realtor - its doubtful shell recommend them.If the spring on my other door ever breaks Ill just replace it myself (or buy a whole new opener kit for what itd cost to have a spring done...)Only the cost keeps me from giving more stars. If they do any work other than a standard residential door be perpared to take out a loan!My BIL had a company come out and replace a broken spring on his garage door which is standard height but very wide, for a two car garage. He said the company he used sent one man and it cost him $150.These guys send two because A 10 door is commercial, and we send two guys because of the weightMine had no bracing at the joints, and appears like a regular residential door except that its 10. No way can it weigh more than my BILs two car one.Good work - way too steep on their fee.
