I called in to compare prices on a couple tools and was told my best bet was Amazon, without him even telling me any prices. I prefer to buy local but with an attitude like that I wont be shopping at this store but they get one star for honesty!

Before they were bought out this use to be my go to place to fix my tools... Now I will never bring another tool there again, dropped a grinder off it took Over a month and they still did not even look at my grinder When I said I was coming to pick up my grinder and take it to another place They didnt even care, no compensation nothing just OK
I agree with the guy below. Tool shed is better. That guy means what he says! If you order Tool Shed will call you and not sell your order to others!
This place is absolutely the only place to buy tools. Great service and great warranty. I even bought my lawn mower and power washer there!
If I could leave them no stars I would. First off its probably my own fault never take your tool for repair to a place that sells tools. The repair guys werent just unfriendly they were rude. They dismantled my sawzall and covered it in dust and threw it in a box, and said its junk you need a new one. I took it to another local repair place and he fixed it for 20 bucks. Tighton tools is rude slow and in unethical stay away from this place.
I was in the market for a cordless bandsaw. I called a different store first and they wasted my time keeping me on hold for 20 minutes before finally telling me they could order one from Sioux City. I called Tighton and not only got ahold of someone right away but he knew exactly what I wanted and he matched the price from Amazon. I never imagined they would but I was blown away by their outstanding service. I decided to purchase some blades to go with my new saw and they matched the price on those too! Wow! I must say Im impressed. Im done shopping for my power tools on Amazon. Tighton has earned my business :)

Their truck drivers are too busy on their phones to pay attention to traffic. Weaving all over the road and holding up traffic just because they dont have the respect to pull over if they want to mess with their phones. Made me sit behind them at a stop sign while it was clear to go for a couple of minutes. I finally went around the truck and trailer after honking several times. Thats when the driver started to pull up into the intersection to block my view of the road and any traffic that may have been coming. I finally got around him, but if this is the way that they treat other drivers, then I would not want them to help me or my clients. Apparently their employees are better than everyone else.
These guys have gone down hill. They used to be great years ago. I choose to shop elsewhere for my company .

I came here to get a tool fixed. I dropped it off to be fixed and they said they would look at it and call me in the beginning of the next week. A week after they were going to call I called them, they said they were waiting on parts and they would call when it was ready. About a week went by so I called again and they said they were waiting for me to tell them they can fix it! So I said fix it the man on the phone told that they would have it ready thay day or the start of the next. Well it been 3 extra days and still not done. Also told the guy at the store that they told me it would be done days ago he did not seem to care just said they would call me lol I BET!
Used Tighton for warranty work on a Dewalt planer. Work was done quickly and seems to be well done. The issue is resolved.
Called this morning about my DeWalt lawnmower I bought a few weeks ago elsewhere & thinking Im having an issue with it, they are a DeWalt service center.I talked to Matt in Service who kept talking about me bringing it in to look at when really at first I wanted to just find out if my issue is normal or not so I can decide if I need to return it & get a different brand. I had to ask his permission multiple times before we got to that point, which really annoyed me.I know typically someone cant properly diagnose an issue without seeing it, but my initial question was pretty simple - the battery after charging for hours, it dies within 5-10 minutes, is that normal??? It look me longer to get him to let me ask him than to actually get the answer, which I suspected would be no. Im on a time crunch with getting my lawn done, so I need to just get to the point of ok.. this is an issue or not & figure out what to do without spending time I dont have running around.Unfortunately the other related questions I had I didnt remember to ask because I struggled to be able to ask this one. Oye..

Without a doubt the absolute worst service department I have ever encountered. Never take your tools to get fixed here. The wait time is way to long to even get a diagnosis or ever speak to anyone that knows your tool is actually there. You have to call them they never called me to follow up on what was going on. I finally came to pick the tool up and take it elsewhere but found out it had been disassembled and they refused to reassemble it for me without charging be to put it back together and flat out lied saying it was because of OSHA regulations that would have to charge me to put it back together, this is not an OSHA regulation this is their own policy so that I would be forced to have them fix it after they had disassembled it despite it having sat there for over 60 days with no diagnosis. Finally had them hand the pieces to me in box, took it elsewhere and had it repaired in 48 hours by a competent and consumer friendly competitor.The sales service is okay at times, but mostly I encounter gaggles of staff ignoring me at the counter and then acting annoyed if I ask any questions. I obviously do not recommend this place and make sure to send people elsewhere if they want to encounter good service.
