Having been someone who was part of a business selling grills in my own town in the past, I can EASILY and SINCERELY tell you that this is the place to go! Staff and owners are true to their business name! Extremely helpful and knowledgeable! They keep up to date with their product opportunities and deals, and their pricing is very fair. I like the choices in product. Quality names with with quality build. I got the Daniel Boone Green Mountain Grill, which we specifically sold in the past. I didnt say anything to them because I just wanted to see how they would be, so now I can say they are a quality business, too! They have a wide variety of pellets, rubs, and sauces, and I am impressed by their sample stations. They are down to earth people, and I didnt feel pressure. Their showing rooms are clean and spread out so people can come in and not feel cramped. Truly, this is the place to go for novice to advanced grillers. I went to a few other places before I came here, and everything I said above was lacking in so many ways in these other places. Here I felt cared about and for as a customer. Case in point, I forgot some of the accessory pieces on the counter, and I immediately was contacted. At the other places, it was almost like I was hassle, and I hadnteven bought anything yet. Helping U BBQ has my business from here on out!

Hands down, the best place in Omaha to buy your smoking/BBQ supplies. If you are buying sauces at your grocery store, you’re doing it wrong. Rubs and sauces to satisfy every palate out there. The only place in town I’ll go for what I need.

One of the best BBQ Stores out there. Staff is very helpful and the knowledge is amazing. From a backyard cook to a competition cook they are there to help with any of your BBQing needs. Great selection of rubs, sauces, and accessories. If you are in Omaha please stop in and tell them we sent you. (It wont help, but its still fun and Ron will love it!!)

Stopped in to get some pellets on Saturday and Ron was very helpful on giving me some advice on a brisket I was going to be smoking. I dont do a lot of briskets and his expertise and guidance was greatly appreciated. And the brisket turned out fantastic. Thanks Ron.

Usually I love this store. Great selection. But today I walked in and there was one guy behind the counter and 2 customers in store. Nobody wearing a mask. Very irresponsible during a pandemic and against the mask mandate. I turned around and will give my business to a more responsible store. That is sad. I like to support the local businesses over the big box stores but not if they are putting the community’s health at risk.

Ran into a bit of a pinch right before Christmas as we were getting our smoker all set for Christmas dinner and realized that we were nearly out of our favorite pellets. Called all over Lincoln and Omaha trying to find a shop that was still open and had what we needed. The kind gentleman on the phone confirmed they did have what I was looking for! Excellent, only thing is I live an hour away and they were closing in an hour. These excellent folks stayed a few minutes late to make sure we got the pellets. This was my first experience with this place and all I can say is WOW. Excellent people and the store had so many awesome selections. Ended up grabbing a new sauce mop and rub while we were there. I WILL BE BACK. Thank you again for your help!

It was a fantastic and charming venue! HUB catered the food for the party, which was such a convenience. To say this place is phenomenal is an understatement. They were so accommodating and the food was exceptional. All of the guests raved about the food, sauces and the atmosphere!If youre looking for a place to host an event, I HIGHLY recommend HUB!!

That cost is built into the product price...aka value add.That said, I walked in looking for a sauce, they didn’t have the exact sauce I was after but offered and alternative. Trying to look at the website and before you can look at anything they require you to create an account but when I tried it I entered all my info and it told me that I had entered the wrong captcha? HUB is the only place to buy anything you need for grilling. Excellent customer service and they are always willing to offer expert advice about how to prepare anything. The two owners are incredibly friendly, and I have also seen firsthand how they give back from their business to the community. Been going there for years and never been disappointed.

Live in Elkhorn, while driving we called at 12 minutes until 6 pm closing. The young man was so polite and said to come on down and stayed open a few minutes longer. I was happy to find this place! It is a bit of a drive for me since i live in Gretna, but its worth it since they have all the things I cant find anywhere else. The staff member I spoke with was very friendly and helpful, and open till 6 on Saturdays!

I just discovered Helping U BBQ and am very impressed! I went looking for a good selection of wood and while I was there made a comment to my wife about how I wish we could do cold smoking. One of the staff overheard me and suggested I check out a product Id never heard of (A-maze-n Pellet Smoker) and walked me through how it worked, etc. Turns out it was exactly what I needed and I LOVE IT. The prices at the store are great (cheaper than Amazon!) and I will be back.

HUB is the best BBQ supply store in Nebraska. On top of selling lots of great smokers and grills, they have an excellent selection of sauces and rubs. The owners participate in KCBS BBQ competitions and make some great BBQ as well. So they know what they are talking about. If youre looking for anything BBQ related - go talk to HUB!

I love Helping U BBQ for all my smoking needs. I can go there and ask the staff questions on the best seasonings to use as well as questions on what temperatures to cook my meat and how long. The staff has always been helpful and more than willing just to talk and share techniques. I would definitely recommend them for your BBQ needs.

This place is how I envision heaven. If you are into cooking good food outdoors, they are hands down the experts. They are knowledgeable folks who are willing to give awesome advice. They also host great BBQ classes and are the Scheels of BBQ items. They only sell the best. You can buy anything in there and know that there is some great logic behind what they sell (much like Scheels) and that its top quality.My goal in life is to work there some day to continue learning while I get paid. Store owner was rude and unapproachable! Didn’t greet me or ask if I needed help with anything. Upon asking if they had any propane (which you would think they would have, grilling store?) I was treated with a mild neglect and smug attitude. Looked like a cool store and was interested in some rubs but after that, hell no! What an a**hole

Not only do they carry a good line of products, accessories, rubs, and sauces but their service is outstanding. I would give 6 stars if I could. I got water in my pellet smoker and the auger jammed and then I was an idiot and damaged the wiring going to the control board trying to fix it myself. The owner came on site after hours and did the repair the next day! I will go out of my way to buy even basics like sauces at this store after their service.

I dont get to go that often but when I do the staff is always friendly and willing to help.
