Although extremely pleasant, he had my rifle 4 months with 1 update that I had to chase. His voicemail is full and he does not respond to text. I happened to catch him outside with his wife and grandkids so I picked up today. No work at all was done. Again, hes had it 4 months. Its really disappointing.

DO NOT USE THIS gunsmith!!!!!!! If I could give him ZERO stars, I would!!!I asked him to swap out the muzzle break on a rifle.He had it for 6 weeks. No updates were provided. He would not respond to phonecalls, voicemails or text messages. In order to get my property back, I had to sit in his driveway & wait for him to come home. I later found out why he would not respond.Somehow, he broke the lower receiver, tried to fix it with an adhesive & didnt say a word when I picked it up. Due to the location of the damage (magwell & retaining pin hole), I cant even shoot it before I get replacement parts. He also marred the charging handle & again, said NOTHING!!!This is brand-new, expensive rifle, that I had never even fired.He still wont respond to phonecalls or texts...This guy is ABSOLUTE TRASH!! DO NOT TRUST HIM with your firearms!!!

Had firearm purchased off of gunbroker.com sent to here. Once it arrived I received call to come pick up! Owner greeted me and was very polite and helpful. Will use again in future!

Burt provides a great service to gun owners. My Browning Gold had a bolt that would not open - it was jammed. He knew what was wrong right away and said he could fix it soon, even though it was Saturday afternoon. Within two hours, he called and said it was ready to be picked up and would be good as new. His prompt service was greatly appreciated because this is my waterfowl shotgun. It handles 3 1/2 shells I use for geese. I did not loose any hunting time waiting for the gun being in a shop waiting to be repaired.

Call different Gunsmiths stating I have to go online to order a tiny part for my Taurus 9m. This guy fixed my gun sight. I saved over $15 if I would of ordered it and weeks for delivery. Good guy and helpful. I will go to him again.

Used this guy to transfer a gun from an Iowa dealer to me in Nebraska. Ended up with an ATF agent on my doorstep asking questions about Christopherson and his practices. The agent had a list of names they were talking to. Will never use again.

Picked up and moved from Oregon to Nebraska with my gun without telling me, now he wont return my calls or e-mails. Scam.
