Dave came in and personally bid the job and came in well under all the other bids. Dave was very easy to communicate with and the work came out better than I could have hoped. The wall looks great, the job was done in a very timely manner and the site is cleaner then when they got here. Dave and his crew went well above and beyond what I expected. I have and will continue to highly recommend them.

Jensen did a fantastic job of replacing our old retaining wall. The new wall looks fantastic, and we have an additional 4 feet of driveway. The crew worked very hard, and finished the entire job in 4 days. The new structure will last a long time, and certainly adds to the value of our home financially as well as personally. Jensen installed a very nice timber retaining wall for us. Dave gave great advice on what would work best for our needs. He was quick to respond to texts/calls. I had a similar experience as the person who wrote the below review. If I could I would give them 0 stars. Terrible customer service! I am glad I found out soon enough about their lack of professionalism at the time of the appointment.____________________________________________________We made an appointment 2 weeks out, and after taking time off of work, they claimed they showed up but no one was home. The appointment was set for 2:30 and we waited outside in the driveway from 2-2:45. No one ever came and when we called around 3pm, they refused to send someone back out. Absolute horrible service.

I cant sing the praises for Jensen Retaining Walls loudly enough. He recently replaced an old railroad tie wall that was rotting and termite-ridden for the Homeowners Association at Pickard School Square Townhomes and he absolutely exceeded our expectations with the work. The bid was fair, they came in a couple days prior to demolition day with equipment, stone, gravel etc. and on the day they said theyd start the work- they were out there bright and early on one of the hottest days to date this summer. They worked all day to demo that old rotting wall, properly shore up the hill, and build a super sturdy, symmetrical, and frankly gorgeous retaining wall in that space. The functionality of that wall for holding up an awful lot of dirt is no longer a worry and curb appeal is significantly improved as you can see from the photos. His crew was professional, polite, and hard-working. They busted their tails to get that wall 95% complete on that first day and came back early the following morning to take care of the finishing touches. Pricing was very fair and for the quality of the work, if you are in the market for a retaining wall- you would do yourself a serious disservice NOT to get a bid from Jensen Retaining Walls in Omaha. Also impressive was the cleanup work they did after the wall was complete. Normally youd think it would be left pretty messy but these guys extended their professionalism beyond the build and did an amazing cleanup too. I highly recommend this company.

I needed a fairly short brick retaining wall along my driveway replaced. It was easy to call Dave Jensen and set up a time to get a quote and to choose the type of block I wanted. The price was reasonable and although I was given a time frame of two months, they were able to work my rather small project in within 2 weeks. His team was very nice and worked very quickly. Overnight, they cleared everything away so I get into my garage. I couldnt be happier with wall, I think it looks great. They cleared everything away and left my driveway in the same condition it was when they came. I am planning to go with Jensens for future projects.

We just had Jensen Retaining Walls do a large project for us at our home. We live on the bluffs of the Missouri, in Little Italy. We had several large terraced walls in railroad ties. They removed all of the tie walls and installed Keystone retaining walls. FANTASTIC!!! Our grounds now look like a castle. The crew was friendly, polite and hard working. Dave gets it done and gets it done right. He is up front, doesn’t act like a used cars salesman, and does exactly what he says with zero excuses. The whole process with Dave and the team ran smoothly. The estimate hit the nail on the head. The team worked diligently to clear rubbish out of the hill as well as any small trees. When we asked for tweaks to be made to the wall during construction the team made it work. The team also worked to access the wall area through my neighbors yard. My neighbor was nice enough to allow them to use his driveway. He reports they were respectful and professional to the highest degree. All in all the process was professional and fast. They crush it at Jensen Retaining Walls.

Dave and his company has completed a few projects at a large and very heavily used shopping center. These projects had a lot of moving parts but Dave handled it easily and even was willing to have an engineer involved. Im so very pleased with the whole process with Jensen Retaining Walls, from the initial evaluation and bid to the final work. I had several bids for an 85 foot wall next to my large horse barn/arena, and Dave Jensen not only came in under the others bids, but he made me feel more confident that the wall will withstand the elements that made a previous wall fail. Dave used a bigger block than the others suggested, and his team expertly excavated and laid the block perfectly. And, they did it all in the timeframe estimated. Dave chose a two-tone color for my wall, which matched my barn colors. Dave even happily agreed to have his expert team do some additional dirt and rock work around my acreage property, and they did it for less than others had bid. Ive been telling others about my great experience, and if I have a need for another retaining wall, Ill skip the bidding process and will go straight to Jensen Retaining Walls.

Jensen Retaining Walls was a referral from Watkins concrete and Im satisfied with the work they did. I would recommend them as well as use them again, the crew was very nice and they worked hard. We had an upper and lower retaining wall replaced with new blocks and everything looks great! We were able to be flexible with dates because of course there were weather issues with much more rain than expected so the project was delayed but cant blame them for the weather.

Amazed! My wall is 108 ft x 6 ft and they did it in only 5 days. It looks wonderful!!! The crew were awesome and my home was always presentable as they cleaned up daily. A retaining wall was collapsing, and the front porch was about to give way. We called Dave Jensen, and he had a crew there within an hour to start the job. He was finished with 10 days. Gave me exactly what I asked for ... well-constructed retaining wall at the agreed-upon price in the agreed-upon timeframe. Robert and Louie did a great job ... cleaned up the area each night and made sure I was happy with the result.

Would give a zero if possible. We tried to be a customer but am so glad we are not. My husband called one week ago today and set up an appointment for noon today. At 12:10 we called to see what was up. The lady that answered ask for our info, upon giving our address she immediately stated they dont travel to Plattsmouth. Um, it was our Plattsmouth address we gave when setting up the appt. She says she will check and give a call back. Upon calling back she states someone called to let us know the appt would be canceled but we didnt answer. BS. One, the lady setting appointments should have known and not set an appointment with us since they dont service our area. Two, if someone had called there would be a missed call and/or voicemail, of course there was neither. Three, dont lie to cover your mistake, be honest and say the appt shouldnt have been made and we dropped the ball in notifying you it was canceled. After making an appointment with us, it was their responsibility to let us know they canceled it. They failed to do so. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

If I could rate a 0 I would. I asked Dave to come back and look at a rock cap I was concerned about, it has 3 gouges missing out of it. He said that sometimes they show up that way. My neighbors had theres done and none are missing gouges in theirs. It should be a complete smooth top. First he showed up 1 time unannounced and no one was home, he then stated I see no damage while no one was present. The second time again unannounced, and spoke with my husband who was not the one dealing with the transaction. He then answered his phone and walked away from my husband while mid talk. (Rude) I sent him an email upon further inspection of cleanup I had to make. Dust was every where and little rocks. He said per email I dont like to go back and forth with emails. I told him I was free to talk on a monday, I had just worked an overnight shift at the hospital, and the next day was fathers day so I was unavailable. So he calls me 2 times on sunday anyway. I called monday morning and I the first thing I said was that we can had this like civil adults. I showed him the new damage to my stucco house wall, and the half a bucket of dust and rocks I collected. He claimed the damage was already there, and his crew cleaned up well despite my evidence. I just had my house painted 3 years ago, and its scratched to the old color and more in several places and deteriorated corner they damaged. He asked if I was looking for a discount. I said no I would happily pay the bill in full several times. I just want the scratches fixed, and own up to your mistake. I then told him I am having my roof & gutters done, and they messed up some trim but apologized and fixed it no questions. He told me that those were apples & oranges and have nothing to do with him. He repeatedly said so you are not going to pay for it because Ill come back and rip this wall out right now, it will be cheaper. Thats when I felt threatened and called the police because are conversation was going no where, and this was beyond poor customer service. I also had my neighbor listen to the conversation from her window to back me up, I have photographic evidence of before and after of the project. This was a very passive/agressive man. He was beyond rude and did not want to hear that he was wrong. I am more than happy as a customer to pay for a project that is done to my satisfaction, but I was unsatisfied. I went by signs in the neighborhood and should have done my research before hand. I see other responses about his same behavior. I hope people will read my post and not get work done with this unprofessional man!

Dave built us a great retaining wall at our Five Fountains home. He was very nice to work with, built our wall very quickly and had a very fair price. I would highly recommend him and if I ever need to build another wall at another location, Dave will be the only person I call. We had Dave come out this summer to give us a quote for a new wall. Dave had many ideas that we never thought about plus his price was very competitive. They arrived on time ready to work. Work was completed in a timely manner (a very hard working crew) and they did a great job with cleanup. I live down the street from the people who had the retaining wall placed recently on Mayberry and wanted to provide my perspective too. The Jensen people interacted with us a couple times to apologize for the dirt and rocks that had to be stored on the street in the middle of the construction process. It was a mild hassle at the worst (really isnt a good place to put the building materials besides on the street and it was a big job) and they were very friendly/professional. The retaining wall they built appears well constructed and looks great (I used to work in landscaping and helped build a few large retaining walls during that time). If I needed retaining wall work done Id likely go with them based on seeing their work!

I had a complete failure on my retaining wall on 3/16 because of heavy rains. After many calls to other companies I called Jensen retaining wall and Dave was at my house winin the hour and not only gave me a quote, he gave me good advice on what is the best way to prevent that issue again. I shopped around and got estimates from several other companies, I chose Jensen not only based on price but my experience in the process and the hustle that he and his wife showed on helping me out. I received prompt service and answers immediately and he really helped put me at ease with something I have never dealt with before.Once the price was negotiated, Dave and his team were at my house the next day and had it up and all the old material hauled away before I got home from work. Jensen did a retaining wall at my neighbors house. They left all of their materials (large piles of gravel, dirt and bricks) in front of my house on my mulch beds for more than two weeks (the workers were there the whole day and would stand around on their phones and play loud Spanish rap music from 7am to 5pm). After they were finished, my mulch beds were completely ruined but they did leave trash bags full of mulch on my front porch, I thought that was a nice gesture even though the damage was annoying. I called to request that they come lay the mulch as I am 7 months pregnant which I explained to the owners wife who answered the phone. Much to my dismay she had very poor customer service skills and was quite rude and unprofessional, disregarding this exchange I requested that they send workers to repair the damages and I left my address and phone number to possibly schedule a time for someone to come by. About 30 minutes later my doorbell rang. I was home alone and on the phone with my father when I was startled by a strange man on my front porch 😳 so I decided to stay on the phone with my dad due to the irie feeling in my gut incase something would happen (God forbid). I hesitantly opened the door to learn the strange man was Dave Jensen, the owner. He made me feel very intimidated as he aggressively protested laying the mulch by questioning me about how far along I was in my pregnancy implying I should lay it myself and also told me that I shouldnt be bitching about mulch beds. It was very unsettling. During our interaction I told him that he should practice better business by leaving the environment the way it was when they arrived. He continued to disagree with me and said go ahead and write a bad review about me on google. I dont care. We will handle it the same way we do with all of our bad reviews and it wont affect me. I said okay then I will, its your business not mine. He then left without fixing the mulch beds. That was the end of our interaction. I am completely distraught that he came to my house in that manner and had the audacity to take that approach to a 25 year old woman who is 7 months pregnant. All I asked was that he or his workers lay the mulch as I am not physically capable. Also, if youre looking for a review on their quality of work I would not recommend, the work appears unfinished.

Emily R needs to take a chill pill/lesson from the neighbor who is improving her property and the neighborhood, instead of complaining! Yes, life can be inconvenient, landscaping is dirty work. Its a narrow street, etc. Visiting from out of town, I witnessed Jensens work, the crews are doing a great job, working hard. The neighbor is very pleasant, and apologetic about the mess and delay; the retaining wall is almost done and looks beautiful. Emily R needs to look at her own home - overgrown shrubs, piled up trash in front of the garage door. Trashy backyard... she needs to cleanup her own house.

My husband has called twice and set up an appointment for someone to come to our house and give us an estimate for our retaining wall to be replaced. Both times we were stood up without even a call to notify us that they were not going to make it. The first time he called the gentleman that he set the appointment up with stated that he forgot that he was supposed to come to our home. The second time we were stood up we decided not to call again because they obviously dont have time for their potential customers and poor customer service.

Very happy with retaining wall. However workers destroyed my fence by running over it with skid loader. Now have to replace fence.

David Jensen and his crew were very professional when they did my wall. His workers put a lot of attention to my retaining wall. Im glad I chose Jensen Retaining Walls.
