I had the most pleasant experience on the phone recently with a sales rep. They did not know the answer to my question at first, but called me back right away and offered to research additional items for me. The entire experience was very refreshing!

Great selection and great deals. I found a Ryobi One + 18V Power Ratchet for $45--with battery and charger! I always find great deals at Home Depot. And their friendly and helpful staff is second to none. I would definitely recommend this place to a friend.

Great prices, knowledgeable staff. Grabbed a water tank pressure switch and was helped in understanding the different types and purposes and given advice in maintenance of my system. Accomodated my late arrival just before close understanding my emergency.

Customer service was excellent and quick. So much better than my local Lowes. Worth the 30 minute drive to be treated well.

On THE HOME DEPOT WEBSITE it says they can price match ANY retailer but the stupid employees told us “we can’t price match online unless it’s local” and then we told them “well on your website it says ANY retailer it does not say local only” and they turned around to us and said this. “ well we are a different Home Depot from the website” like wth 🤦‍♀️ It’s literally the same store AND YOUR OWN STORE LOCATIONS WEBSITE!!!!!! Honestly always hated Home Depot because the workers are so slow and the managers think they know everything when they can’t even spell or know their own stores price match policy. Absolutely ridiculous!

Decent for a big box, but the staff are not as well versed as say the local Munsons hardware. If you know what you want, fine, make quick work of the stop and grab what you need but dont expect expertise in all departments. If you are ordering use the pro desk and you will be fine.

Rich was so very helpful and helped me find exactly what I came for.Only complaint is there was already a discount on the in store marked price and wouldnt give me 10% veteran discount because of that.Lowes always gives veterans a 10% discount off the marked price no matter what even if the product is on sale,I even asked when I entered the store before I shopped.

One of the only places in town that still stocks ice melt after December 31st! I dont understand why retailers insist on stocking grills and summer gear as soon as Christmas is over when we have ice and snow until March or early April! So kudos to Home Depot for keeping necessary supplies in stock!!

Its Home Depot, helpful staff and the supplies you expect. Being in Oneonta means it is a slightly smaller location, but you can still find just about anything you would need and expect to be in a Home Depot. Everyone is friendly and helpful.

They advertise incorrectly. There is a difference between a corrugated drain perforated pipe and a leach corrugated piping. My time was wasted and over 90 miles. I guess I have to go to lowes to get the real 4x10 corrugated drain pipes with holes. Thank you. I was disappointed

We were not happy at our trip to lowes in oneonta ny,we then went to home depot,and all were very helpful and polite and knowledgeable...very pleased with our experience 😊

We went there to purchase a washing machine, nothing fancy, just your basic style as ours had quit the day before. Out of the 20 different washing machines, they only had ONE in stock....and it was not the one we wanted to purchase. We were told all of the other washers were floor models only and would need to wait for delivery. Also, waited for assistance while the staff working in the appliance dept seemed to be talking on the phone with his spouse. Ended up going up the road to another home appliance dealer.

After searching for an air conditioner near us we decided on Home Depot. I checked their website and found the air conditioner that fit our budget and was in stock. When we got there I had to go through two different people to find where the ACs were. They didnt have the one we went there for so we asked someone that works there to clarify that and he said someone must have screwed it up because they dont have those there. As in, they never had or just that there werent anymore? But never an apology for the screw up. Okay, I know by now youre probably thinking wow, well shes an entitled gem. But thats honestly not the case. Who hasnt just wanted a simple apology. I dont think Im asking for a lot and does good work ethic mean anything anymore when nobody even offers to apologize for causing a simple misunderstanding or inconvenience to their customers anymore. It was more like, good luck to ya! And I was beginning to think that we should be the ones who apologize for bothering them. What I remember with any orientation or training that was required before I started working at my job was to always DO for the customer and make their experience a good one. Period. Which some customers take to extremes (believe me I know). But simple courtesy things like that, I just dont see that with a lot of stores anymore in this town, especially Harbor Freight. So thats why its not a complete 5 stars.Anyway...by that time its like, come on pick one. The whole purpose to us getting an air conditioner so late in the day is because our 15-month-old has not taken a nap AT ALL today because the house is too uncomfortable, even with fans blowing. The sun just sits on our house. But I wasnt wanting to leave without one so I kinda felt forced to purchase something we probably could have just got at Lowes, which is right across from us. So maybe the fact that we had a cranky baby with us or that we had to go to that particular store (which we usually dont - no offense!) was why I gave Home Depot a 3.BUT, on the actual AC review: it is AMAZING. We use it for only our bedroom that we share with our daughter and it cooled down the room SO quick. I like the automatic shut off function. Its quiet and is the perfect white noise for sleeping. Highly recommended.

Increased prices on grills... was eyeing one for a month.. as soon as stimulus checks were issued prices went upnon all their grills. Bummer for us!

Its Home Depot and exactly what you would expect. Staff is friendly and helpful but can be hard to find on occasion. They do tool and small equipment rental which is very handy.

Masks. Several employees had masks around their necks or below their nose. I saw people walking in and out through the garden center to avoid wearing masks, but one gentleman without a mask walked right up to the greeter and then walked right in the store. Breathing out his germs into the enclosed, indoor, store. While there was plenty of signage asking people to wear a mask, I did not feel comfortable entering the store. I did store pickup from my phone in the parking lot. I had to wait, and watch people disobey the rules and help spread a virus I have seen kill. I wont be back to this location, at least not for a while.

Great place for getting all home improvements necessities. Whatever you need you can always find by yourself or with the help of their experts. Very clean, organized, and lots of staff with friendly smiling faces! Another plus that I love is that I can walk in and around the store with my dog and they never complain about her! Oh and to mention prices it just depends on what you need and how much that you want to spend on it.

I recently bought plywood from here. I accidentally ordered a too large of a board, but the customer support people graciously helped me return and downsize it for me. I forgot to write this review to let them know how my necklace I was making for my girlfriend went, so I am putting pictures of it here.This was January 10 around 6-7 pm when I ordered it. Make sure to keep these great employees!

Home Depot was great! We got some awesome flowers to plant in our 1/2 Whiskey Barrels along with some dirt and lavender plants.

Standard big box store that you can get what you need, but its hard to find what you need because most of the employees arent sure either. Once in a while you can find good deals and competent staff, but it seems like a roll of the dice, especially when they overcharge at the register because they dont know what sales are going on. I would much rather shop a local business, and pay a little more for better product.

They are welled stocked and prices reasonable.
