My first time there. A smaller local place, Chris is a knowledgeable person who goes the extra mile to help you out. Came home with a Squire bass and a gig bag. Will definitely be revisiting soon.

I called and spoke to this great down to earth lady on the phone, and she had what I needed, ready and expecting me when I got there to make my purchase. They keep a lot of instrument strings in stock, give music lessons, and are always ready to help.

The 8th Note is one of the only music stores that completely stands by their instruments. If anything in the store is less that perfect (Which is very rare) the workers will be the first to tell you. Every single instrument my family owns was purchased from this fine establishment. No disappointments yet!P.S- Every person that works at this store is very patient and very knowledgeable about music.

I remember when I was young and playing an instrument I went to Eighth Note. Now years later my granddaughter is playing and instrument. Tyler was amazing in helping me. I rented her clarinet and purchased extra reeds (anyone with a child playing a woodwind always gets plenty of extras). I am so pleased with their service and availability. I am still amazed that the information sheets sent home with rhe children didnt mention 8th Note but an establishment in Utica. Please purchase local. Its how we will have my granddaughter purchasing from the same place I did for her grandchildren.
