Got my first car an auction. Surprised to see so many good cars. Wasnt able to get the first one I wanted but I got the second mini Cooper that I wanted its a 2010 Clubman very clean kept well I got it for $2,000 less than the lowest one other dealers had advertised so I think I got a pretty good deal

Came on Saturday for the first time was pleasantly surprised by a sweetheart named Lauren who gave me the run down on how the auction process works they even let me bring my little pup with me to check out the vehicles, great company looking forward to doing business with them!

Beware its a bait and switch. They will advertise a nice low mileage cars that dont exist. Tell u the cars are there . Then when u get there tell u they just SOLD IT . They just want u to get there hoping youll look around and buy there junk . Looks like a wrecking yard. After they told me they sold the car they told me they had . I had other people call on that same . Car from different numbers.. and told em same yes we have it . Consumers dont waste your time gas, or energy the place is garbage

Well. Raw truth. Take a walk around for cosmetics on most. Only saw a few of the cars shown on the website. Hi miles.As Is Pricey jokers. And a security guard who will watch you ( someone like me) like a HAWK. Like ah Hawk.! Then I saw the closing fees! What? Im not desperate! Mechanics dreams

Purchased my vehicle mid July. Car needs ally of work. They promise to fix the door which I didn’t even bother because they asked me to come back. And it’s almost October haven’t received permanent plates. Called the DMV they haven’t received paper work. All fees were paid at the time of the purchase. I highly regret my purchase!

Good, straightforward service, no high pressure sales, just someone to help you through the paperwork. Only subtracting 1 star because they seem to be prone to various mixup, so just double and triple check that everything was done correctly and you shouldnt have any problems and a fairly good car buying experience (just remember that youre getting the good price because its a used car sold AS IS, so just be aware of what you are buying)

Some of their cars are in good shape but they have high fees charges.

Be careful of the pictures they post. Go inspect the vehicle and dont rely on the pictures. I learned my lesson after losing $500 as very obvious broken parts were not shown in the listing. On top of that the manager tried to downplay the defects and trying to make them look like they were minor. I dont think you can upholster leather in an suv for $200! Salesman Manny was very kind and went out of his way to try save our $500

I was @ SoCal Auto Auction today to see the vehicles that will be in Saturdays and Sundays Auction. They have a good selection of cars that you can actually purchase at their online price before their auction. i didnt purchase a car today decided to try my luck tomorrow in the auction. They also offer financing I learned all this about this place today thanks to yeli and lauren they took the time to go over my options.

I have 0 idea why there are so many positive reviews here. I called days before to see a car and they said I could test drive it on Friday and take it if I like it. I go before the place even opened on Friday just to find that the car had been sold on a day that they werent even opened to sell the car. I stayed to look for more cars, but all the cars were super dirty on the outside and even worse in the inside.

Purchased vehicle mid July, documents haven’t been sent to DMV. Car has a lot of issues. They promise to fix the door call and call no answer!

Really smooth process the financial Dept Response time is really fast. Please talk to Silver finance manager. Amazing foreign luxury inventory. No high prices Johnnie’s. A lot of these cars have been in accident just make sure you double check the car fax.

This auction is free to attend and open to the public.Can be a great place to buy a used car in relatively good condition. Purchasing a vehicle happens through the auctions they have practically every weekend or arrangements can be made in the event that you find a vehicle that perfectly fits your needs and you wish to just pay outright and be on your way.The auctions go down both in person and online and all information is available online for each vehicle and posted on their website. They are relatively quick to respond to additional questions and concerns and they make the close out process as simple as possible.I really like that they handle all the paperwork and the particulars related to the DMV. Meaning the vehicle registration, tags and title. (Plates also if you have paper license plates when you leave the lot) Basically you pay for all those things initially when you pay for the vehicle and complete the paperwork. Delivery from the DMV can be expected typically 3-4 weeks after purchasing a vehicle at auction.

Nice set up they have here. The employees are nice and theres a decent selection of vehicles here. They could use some more trucks here. Theres just a couple things I would like to see some changes to help the buyers such as announcement by the auctioneer of the milage on each vehicle and the auction line up matching the website so you can simultaneously follow the auctioneer on upcoming vehicles.

Sounds like a good place to go until you return on Sunday and see all the cars back for sale.They wont let the cars sell for less than a minimum bid, and they dont tell you what that is. The cars were only going for slightly less than private sellers on offerup so theres nothing good here.5 star reviews are bought with a gas card. Stay away.

Well i attempted to purchase a vehicle at todays aution. I was hoping for a great experience because of all the great reviews. Wellnim out 500 bucks and they will probably re run the. Af i was going to buy in shndays auction.I knew when i asked the girl at the cashier if i could see paperwork prior to her running my credit card so i purposely drained my account only leaving the 500 dep in there. Well she said nono noshe cant show me until i give her 500. Well then 1/2 goes by no direction i go to next door thats where there very friendly CLOSERS. WELL AT LEAST FRIENDLY UNTILL THEY GOT YOUR DEPOSIT. I ASKED NICELY CANT YOU BACK MY DEAL OUT AND CHARGE ME SAY COUPLE HUNDRED HE SAID NO KEEPING THE WHOLE 500 AND IM LUCKY HE DOESNT CHARGE ME ANOTHER 25% OF BUYERS COST.WOW A LITTLE. COMPASSIO. FOR FIRST TIMER AT AUCTION I WOULD HAVE TOLD EVERYBODY about them and hiw good i was treated instead i felt like i got scamed sleezy business sleezy people

I purchased a used SUV. I got an excellent deal, they put through all the DMV paperwork (and it was an interstate sale. It had New Mexico tags when I got it. They put temp Calif tags and on it, collected all fees and I received permanent tags 2 months later. Was great and vehi le is running great! I highly recommend the mildred street auction in Ontario, Calif.

BEWARE! PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS SKETCHY BUSINESS! Terribly unprofessional. Website lists one fee and that fee is increased when you arrive. Website also has inaccurate registration and pre-registration information. I called the business ahead of time to give them my budget and was told by an employee that I could expect 1-3 car to go for that amount. Upon arriving I was told that my budget would not result in me getting a car and would be $800 more.

Salvage? Smogged passed? Shifted gear and transmission light immediately came on. My bad for trying to steal a Tlx. Lesson learned, albeit expensive. Respectful staff, but business is what it is. Please 🙏 wish me luck as I invested my life savings. Always, Always take a mechanic. And be knowledgeable as its not the auctions job to help you. 💯

I just got a new 2014 car for really cheap. i truly recommend this experience. Bidding is extremely easy and exciting. Thanks for the experience :)Edit: I bought 2 lemons from this place and im absolutely not happy. It seems like nothing about this place is legit. I honestly do not know how these cars pass smog. They try to cover up this fact by trying to be nice and give you $5 gas cards for multiple good reviews. If only I would have known i would have saved my money. The cars are tempting but i would not recommend going here at all

Lauren and Silver are the best in the finance department when in there for my sister car we were in and out about 1 hr the most. Was super fast and the maintenance guys Manny and Ray help us with our questions in that vehicle thanks a lot for your help!!!

My day started off in another auction actually, didnt like the selection however, I seen an ad for SoCal auction on Facebook. The selection online was very good and the price range was great so I sent a text. I confirmed the car I wanted was still available and drove a hour to find it. Unfortunately by the time I arrived the car was already sold . I was annoyed at first but the various car selections kept me here. They really have some Great staff members here. Suzy, Lauren, Paco, & Ali was most helpful. I was able to find a car well under my budget so overall Im happy.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Really cool that you can buy the car before auction or wait to bid. Also very convenient payment methods. Could pay with cash, or debit/ credit card (surcharge with card tho). Also great cars to bid on.

Cars are good. Prices are not. Employees are even kind, very professional, theyre experts... to their own business convenience.Bidding process is heavily influenced by online bidders, and people at the live auction are at a disadvantage, because onliners always put a high price to begin the bid. What a coincidence! Maybe all of them have lots of money.So at last, the car finished sold at such a high price that is NO longer a good deal.Check another auctions, this is no place to find a deal. Trust me.

This place was just what my fiancé and i were looking for to getting a well running used car for a low price, the staff is super helpful, friendly and patient with everything, we were able to get a car we both were interested in with low mileage, did all the paper work the day of the auction which were registration and smog certificate, had a great experience working with these guys and i’d recommend anyone on a budget looking to get a good deal!

Good vehicles at great prices. Lots of late model vehicles for below market prices. Registration was easy and free. You can look at all the cars, get in them, start them up and listen to the engine too! Overall a quick and easy process. Judy was very helpful with explaining the process and the fees!

$$$$$ prices are very high for being in an auction. In that case I can buy any car in a dealer with a good warranty included..Was Not worth the three hr Drive.NOTE: staff was awesome (100%) They were willing knowledgable and more than willing and ready to answer qny question and doubts that I had....I was Very happy in that aspect...

I purchased a vehicle from So Cal auto auction in Ontario Ca in July. They advertise and even announce at the beginning of their auction that all the vehicles are thoroughly checked and mechanically sound. I noticed after leaving the lot that the vehicles mileage was a little over 400 miles higher than what was written on the contract. The check engine light came on the following day and I brought it into a local mechanic that verified there were MAJOR mechanical issues and there was no way it would have been able to legally pass smog. I contacted the auction house and brought it back. Their mechanic verified yes it had an issue and tried to fix it with a flushing solvent. He and the manager DJ said if the light came back on that they would replace the part. The light came back on a couple days later. I called them and let them know it was back on but I couldn’t get it back over until the following week since I was out of town and had the key with me. I called when I returned and the receptionist told me to go ahead and send it over. When the tow truck arrived the general manager refused to accept the vehicle. I politely told the woman on the phone I needed to call them back in a few minutes. She became nasty and told me NO I needed to sit on hold and wait to talk to the manager NOW or they wouldn’t deal with me or the car. I waited and the general manager still refused the car. There is absolutely NO WAY the car legally passed smog. An independent mechanic said that more than likely the battery was unplugged and the codes reset in order to pass the visual inspection. Which is why when driven 100 miles the light came right back on. This company is altering mileage to void warranties. Selling cars that legally can not be smogged and then refuse to keep their word and make it legal. There are so many laws broken it’s unreal.They pay people with gas cards to leave a good review before you even have keys in hand. Unethical and dishonest.

This auto auction provided false verbal information regarding a vehicle I was looking to purchase from them. They stated that the vehicle will come with a 7 day warranty in which they would fix any issues involving the engine and/or transmission if it is discovered by the purchaser. They also mentioned if a car that is purchased from them under this warranty cannot be repaired, they would refund the entire purchase price of the vehicle to the purchaser. This warranty would begin the day I picked up the vehicle and drove it off their lot. When I arrived at the auction to purchase the vehicle they mentioned that the warranty started the moment I won the car from the auto auction which was inconsistent with what I was told about the warranty beginning when I picked up the vehicle and drove it off their lot. I immediately became uninterested in doing business with this auction because they told me misleading Information in order to try to get me to purchase this vehicle under terms I didn’t agree with. There were other inconsistencies that turned me off to buying the vehicle. For example, they mentioned I could not start/test drive the vehicle before purchasing it, and did not disclose cosmetic issues with the vehicle, etc. Overall this auction engages in bad business practices where they aren’t honest and try to deceive consumers. I spent over $140 on Uber’s to and from this auction being that the auction is located over an hour from where I live, all because this auto auction tried to deceive me. They made me waste my valuable time and money and I wouldn’t recommend anyone doing business with them.

I appreciated the staff at SoCal Auto Auctions. They communicated well, and I understood how the buying process worked before I made a purchase. Easy, just wish they would release my vehicle sooner.
