I worked at Parco for 34 years. Started in Engineering, then promoted to the Cost estimator in Sales. After 2 years as the Cost Estimator, then promoted to Quality Control Manager. After 2 years as Quality Manager, promoted to Customer Service Manager.Fifteen years later promoted to Vice President of Customer Service. The owners of the company were always fair and extremely ethical. They rewarded employees handsomely if you worked hard and contributed to the improvement of the company. After reading the negative reviews above it reminded me of some of the lazy employees that never contributed anything to the improvement of the company. Came to work every day with an attitude problem and barely did their job. Always looking at there watch waiting for the bell to ring so they could go home. The moral of this review is to remind people, Get an education, go out in the world and make a name for yourself, and do something to make this world a better place.Stop looking for a handout.I have a Jr. College degree but with hard work and a true interest in making Parco a better company I retired as a Vice President.Enough said.
The company is good at sending you your order but give you a run around if you need to return your order lots of luck in getting a credit to your credit card that becomes another run around. You call to ask about your credit to your card and get no where. I sure would like to know how the company stays in business if they treat their customers all this way.
When I worked there in 2000, I had got injured on the job. Torn ligament in my right wrist. I was sent to their company doctor. The doctor gave me time off to try and heal. Originally the doctor said it was a sprained wrist. Even though I was off with a doctors note, I got written up for every single day I was not at work. When I return to work I had a stack of write ups (pinks slips).Parco inc was a horrible company to work for. I worked under a foreman named Jerry Skibar. He would target people if you werent kissing his butt. He definitely had his favorite people.I would never recommend this company for anyone to work at unless they changed their ways since then. They treat their employees like crap, and its like a little dictatorship under a big roof.I am not just a bitter bad ex employee just complaining if thats what you are thinking. I worked my hours. Monday through Saturday 12 hour shifts. So 6 days a week 12 hour shifts MANDATORY! The pay was good at the time but they treated you really terrible.
Work there for several years till things got slow company was and still a good company to work for
Terrible
