Even if youre not looking for a bike, James Bros has one of the best beer selections in the Auburn/Opelika area. Ive been many a times just for a brew or two. Not to mention these guys really know their way around a bicycle and can be trusted to get you back out and riding ASAP.

Got my Specialized Tricross modified to be more old man friendly and more Opelika hills friendly. The staff was super and gave me everything I asked for. Excellent workmanship and price was fair.

I drove from Tampa to get my dream Specialized road bike and Jody was extremely helpful and assisted me with all my needs and he answered all of my questions related to the bike. I actually liked 2 different bikes, one bike that was in their Auburn store and the other was in Opelika. They went and brought the bike from the other store to Opelika to make sure I didnt have to drive any further. Great service, great team. A++ service. Thank you!

Im new to MTB, and had alot of questions, about what i needed. James Bros are very helpful and know everything there is to know about the sport. I got exactly what I needed and and left with more knowledge than I could have imagined. This shop is the best for anyone

They estimated a partial build would take them 2 business days, any they would have the bicycle ready for training that weekend. The result was 6 business days and a very low quality build. The headset bearings were bone dry, the bottom bracket bearings were the same, shifting was poorly tuned as through cable stretch had already occurred. Also, they neglected to utilize carbon paste on my seat post. None of this is to mention that each cable (internally routed) that I had already put sleeves into for cost $26 to run on top of the cost of the cable. Now that I have taken apart and reassemble several pieces of the bike, I have it to where it is safely, reliably rideable. I have put it some 200 miles at this point, and the essentially unworn lizard skin bartape has come unraveled due to the poor quality of wrapping. On the whole, this shop is nice, and the staff is nice. That said, they are either poor mechanics or simply lazy. Further, the pricing is absolutely outrageous especially considering the quality. I certainly would not recommend this experience to other cyclists.

Our grandson had gotten a bike given to him. It got wrecked and the chain broke, we went and bought the chain. Came home and forgot how Jody showed us to put it back on.lol so we went back with the bike and he said it might be tomorrow before it was ready. Well sure enough it was ready and to be honest I thought it would be a huge bill. But to my surprise nope. I was in town for a few days for training from Birmingham and Phillip and the crew at James brothers totally took care of me like I was family. They tuned my bike up and gave me tips on local trails to hit while I went and got lunch. I cant say enough about this bike shop.
