Called in and unfortunately the truck I was after was already sold. A few days went by and after searching MANY other dealers, just could not find the truck i had been searching for. Reed gave me a call a few days later on Thursday morning to let me know they just received a truck like i was looking for. We discussed options and was able to nail down a deal within that same day. We traveled from Knoxville, TN to pick the truck up. Reed unfortunately was off that day but came in to help me close out the deal. If he was closer, Id offer him a job! My 2021 Yukon has been serviced and repaired at Glynn Smith. GM recommended tearing apart my transmission for one repair, and thank goodness the service manager, JP, wanted to try simply replacing the idler pulley first. It worked! Next repair needed was for lifters and they got me in and out in one day! Ms. Jane and Bridget are always a pleasure to speak with, and always get you an appointment as quickly as possible! I have had nothing short of wonderful experiences at Glynn Smith and will continue to use them for all of the service and repair needs for my Yukon!

These guys aren’t professional at all, will sell the car right under you… sale guy Reed is actually cool and called me that a truck was available the same night it came in, they don’t take deposits due to demand but these guys ran my credit 15 min after I was informed that the truck is available and that it’s all good. I told them I am taking it WITHOUT even seeing the truck or anything. Next day rolls around we talk about best financing options with Blake the sales manager.. even had a signed invoice sheet that it’s mine, couple hours go by I don’t hear anything… I call him and he says truck is sold, like what? biggest unprofessional dealership around…
I have to say that this is probably the best car buying experience that I have ever had. As a female consumer I was concerned about finding a dealership that would not try to screw me over especially with the availability issues that are going on right now. When I made my first call to Glynn Smith and got Christy on the phone I was immediately felt comfortable. I felt that is was meant to be that I got a female on the phone to help me. When I came into the dealership to look at what they had available I knew that wasn’t the car for me but they were very quick to find me what I wanted. It just so happened that they had the exact vehicle on order and it had not been assigned to anyone yet. I told her immediately that I wanted that Tahoe. Once it went into production she assured me that my name was on it. Even when it came to financing they were able to get everything ready for me before the vehicle came in so that it was ready to sign and drive once here. Had a tonneau cover installed and after a few days noticed a couple of small issues. Stopped by after work thinking I’d have to schedule a time to come back and have it adjusted. Instead, the service manager Jean-Pierre grabbed another employee and went out and fixed my problem right then in the parking lot! That’s top notch customer service!!
I came in for my appointment yesterday over an hour early because I had employees out and needed to get to work asap. I was planning on renting a car, but was told that no cars were available. They graciously offered to go ahead and work me in so that I could get to work.

I had my 2018 GMC 2500 HD in for a faulty trailer brake control switch on the dash. Chad in the service dept. told me the part would have to be ordered due to it not being in stock. I told Chad I had a 14,000 Lb. fifth wheel camper I had to pick up from Decatur Al. in two days. Chad worked with Henry the parts Dept. Manager and he found one @ Lynch Chevrolet in Auburn. They called me back and had my truck repaired the next day. Excellent Customer Service.Thats Home Town Folks taking care of Home Town Folks.

The service department was wonderful however I’m very unhappy that my new vehicle had a major problem. GM needs to find a better system of dealing with this. I was out of a vehicle for 2 weeks and didn’t have a loaner or a rental because the rental places in Auburn don’t have GM vehicles. I was not happy with this process at all. It was not Glynn Smiths fault that GM produced a bad/faulty part and then made it almost impossible to get a rental. Shame on GM for putting people in the situations.

Transmission went out. I called on Monday and was told I would be called back. Never received a call. Same story on Tuesday. I drove to the dealership on Wednesday to get someone’s attention. I spoke with Chad and he took my truck. This rating is solely because of Chad. He went above and beyond to fix my truck and get me to work by the end of the week. I do believe the service department is overworked and under staffed. The sales doesn’t seem to work with service (based off Chad’s fight to get me a loaner that my extended warranty covers) but he figured it out on a short notice. Again. This rating is based off of Chad’s hard work and devotion to customer service. This rating is not based of management of service or sales. I believe there is plenty of room for improvement in both of the leadership areas.
Paid a hefty price for car repair but the problem is not fixed. Been waiting for months for them to get my car back in to find out whats going on with it. Normally, they give A+ service so this is truly disappointing!

When I called to make the final sale, I talked to someone who said they were a general manager. I let him know I was coming in with the check and he asked me did I have the insurance, and my drivers license on file. I informed him that I did have the insurance but it was not on file and that I would like to text it or email it to him before I got there. He was very rude he told me that he didnt have time to be doing NO deals for me and I was confused, I didnt understand what he meant by deal, and I asked him I said what are you talking about? I said Im just trying to make it easy on the both of us and by sending license and insurance by email or text like I did previously the day before with the salesman named Andrew. He continued to be rude and said, maam if youre going to continue to talk, then were going to have a problem and he had a very nasty voice. He said hes a manager hes not in sales so I need to talk to someone else. When I initially called I asked for the sales department and thats who they dispatch me to, so I had no idea what his job description was until you said it, and he was very rude and very nasty I almost changed my mind and considered taking my check elsewhere. Finally he sent me to someone named Dylan and I text my information to Dylan and everything was smooth after that. This is my second purchase with this dealership and I never had this problem the first time. Not sure if there will be a third.

Very upset with our experience with Glynn Smith opelika Chevy dealership. We made an appointment, placed a car on hold and spoke with 3 different people in regards to a certain truck. Upon arrival at our appointment, we were informed that “He”, the consultant, had bought that truck that we thought was on hold, that morning! No phone call, no email, no nothing to inform us that we would no longer need an appointment, reschedule our day, or waste our time traveling. The guy laughed and told us to build our own truck if we wanted this particular vehicle. The website still showed vehicle was available tj w day before and the same day and the person we talked to just the day before assured us it would be on the lot. Left very angry and without a vehicle we intended to buy that day.
Had my college student daughter bring her car in because it had a vibration. Ended up having a knot on one of the tires. Dealer did not have tires available so I told my daughter to pay them for checking the tire and we would get tires at local shop who had them in stock. Mechanic told my daughter that the oil was very black and needed changing immediately and that they also needed to do an EGR check on engine. Her not knowing any better let them do this. They charged me $140 for needless service. The Oil had been changed less than 1800 miles ago with full synthetic. They did this service for no other reason than it was a young girl driving the car and she did not know any better. The car has 34000 miles on it and they told her the tires were completely worn out and all needed replacing. These tires have a 50,000 mile warranty and have been rotated every oil change.

I have been a Glynn Smith client since February 24,2014. Best service, best folks in the automobile industry. Over the past 65 years I have dealt with more than 25 car dealerships Glynn Smith get the first place prize.
I began looking for a new vehicle in the first week of June 2021. My first choice was to purchase a Cadillac XT4 or XT5. I started my search on Cars.com. The first dealership was located in Texas. When I contacted the dealership, we spoke about prices, rebates, and the normal things customers talk about before a purchase. I soon found out that the dealership would not sell to anyone located out of the state of Texas because of the extremely high demand for vehicles at the time. I then began searching and pricing for a Ford Explorer. I contacted many dealerships in Florida, Texas, Alabama, and Louisiana. The Explorer with the trim package that I liked was very hard to find, and in most cases, the price after rebates was still to high for my budget. This is when I began looking at the GMC Acadia SLT in red. I definitely wanted a red vehicle with light colored interior. I found several on cars.com. After speaking to several salesmen, and looking at the numbers, I CHOSE TO PURCHASE AN ACADIA FROM GLYNN SMITH CHEVROLET BUICK GMC in Opelika, Alabama. The dealership is located 385 miles from my home in Ponchatoula, La., which is a five hour drive. I had never gone over 80 miles from my home to purchase a vehicle before. I had a lot of confidence in the numbers that were given to me for the purchase. The quote for my 2020 Chevy Blazer trade in was $24,500. I owed $28,500 on the Blazer. I thought at the time that this was a fair price. The blazer had 4600 miles and was only 6 months old since the purchase. After my purchase of the Acadia, I noticed on the dealership site that my Blazer was listed for sale at $36,990. That is $12,490 more than I was offered for the vehicle. I can understand making a small profit from the sale of the Blazer, but asking $$36,990 makes me feel like “ they saw me coming from 380 miles away.” I understand that the damage is done now, and that nothing will change what happened with the amount I received for the Blazer. I will absolutely do my homework before my next purchase, so that I am not in a similar situation again. I know that vehicle prices are extremely high at the moment on new and used vehicles. I should have absolutely been offered more for my trade in. I will be filling out my survey today ( June 10 ). I will answer all questions honestly.Additionally, I was not shown, or instructed how any of the features in the vehicle worked.
We were in Georgia visiting family and ended u pin Alabama during our trip. We saw a truck on the Glynn Smith lot that caught our eye and decided to pull in and look at it. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I called yesterday (4/12/21) morning and spoke to Rob (sales manager) a little bit and told him who we did not want to work with, and provided him with all of the information we wanted and needed. Rob never got back with me. Instead, he had a salesman that blew off my husband last week get back in touch with my husband (I’m not sure of his name) after I told Rob we did NOT want to work with him. The offers on our trade were asinine to say the least.Thankfully, we found a dealership that actually wanted to make a sale and my husband is in a brand new truck, no thanks to Glynn Smith Chevrolet.All in all, the owner lost a fantastic sale because of the poor sales associates employed there.

My car was there for over 3 weeks. When it was checked, the problem was that it did not have the right key for it. and for some reason the car was jacked up and the jack was put under the floor pan on the drivers side and now there is a big hump in the floor. There was no reason to jack the car up, so why is the floor messed up?

I was in the market for a new GMC Sierra 1500 AT4. Glynn Smith had a few listed on their website. I called and spoke to Walter Moore. He answered my questions and was quick to respond later when I emailed him. The dealership was about 4 hours away so I was a little hesitant to make the drive based on my experiences at other dealerships in the past. I decided to make the drive and am very glad I did. Walter brought the truck around and it had a whopping 5 miles on it and hadnt been through the PDI yet. I took it for a drive around the lot and really liked the truck but thought there was no way they were going to be able to get to the price I wanted. When I got done driving it there was absolutely no sales pressure and I actually had to ask Walter if they wanted to appraise our vehicle. We came to an agreement after a couple rounds and I ended up with the exact vehicle I wanted at the price I was looking for. The finance process was quick and easy without any pressure or making me feel dumb for not buying extended warranties. I would highly recommend Glynn Smith to anyone.

Come in for a gas leak.they said we needed a front end alignment do to the new tires.but then they changed my oil that did not need changing and we never said to change the oil. I the they changed me for the oil then they took it off my bill.they the service was very good 👍

Our salesman Michael Foster was very patient and let us decide on our own unlike the salesman at our local dealership. We also dealt with Michael Lee in the financial department, he was more than willing to help us get the terms we needed to afford the payment. My appointment was made 2 1/2-3 weeks prior because a part had to be ordered to fix one of 2 recalls on my car. Only 1 recall was completed because I was told the part was put on someone elses vehicle. Now they have to reorder the part, and I have to make another trip to have it fixed.My question is this: If the part was ordered for my car, my recall & my appointment, then why was it used by someone else for someone elses car? They should have a better way of keeping up with parts/orders. Another thing is they should call the person in advance to remind them of their appointment, and make sure all of the items are there before a wasted trip is made.
Jane in the service department is always wonderful. So friendly and personable, It was a beautiful day so sitting in the gazebo, enjoying the sun while my car was serviced was an added bonus.
