I remember taking a drive one day and saw this place on the side of the road in the middle of no where. I made a reminder to visit Hwy 80 Barn and when I was finally able to visit I was not disappointed. The food was delicious and priced well and service was excellent. I will visit the Hwy 80 Barn on a regular basis. Photo is the Hamburger steak with loaded potato, butter beans and cornbread.
Havent been here in years. We thought wed give a try. Was not disappointed. We started off with fried jalapeños chips served with ranch dressing. They were very good. I got their fried chicken dinner with baked corn and mash potatoes with gravy. My wife got their homemade meatloaf with sweet potato tots and freshly cooked collards. All were delicious. To top it off with dessert I got their strawberry shortcake parfait and my wife ooey gooey reecescake. Both are delicious! We really enjoyed our delightful waitress Kay Leigh very entertaining and helpful

Found this place based on a post on Facebook! OMG it was amazing might become a regular stop for me on the weekends. The staff was so sweet and amazing, the service was top notch. We had the trio apps, with jalapeño chips, grit sticks, and fried pickles. They were all fantastic I have never had fried jalapeños but man I want more! The grit sticks were fantastic be sure to get some syrup. My meal was a patty melt with onion rings would definitely recommend it. Next time I am going to try the fire burger 😋

The family-owned business is a lm ways friendly and the food is delicious. It has a decent m.h enu with alligator and frog legs, if you loke that sort of eats. We had fib eye steak with sides. Nice anniversary dinner.
I havent posted many foodie outings lately. The pocket book, hasnt allowed for it but the hubby and I took at trip to Phenix City yesterday and stumbled across this homie rustic gem. Food was great, our waitress Misty was on top of everything. We came at shift change so we sat for about 15 minutes until someone came out of the kitchen. The bell that alerts them to customers wasnt working.They apologized profusely for the wait. The Barn is decorated with random grandmas house type knickknacks, tables are not matching but old country farmhouse types. The food was excellent. We got an order of cheese sticks, and loaded potato skins, for the main event I had the 10oz hamburger steak (with onions and bell peppers and all the gravy) mashed potatoes (cue more gravy), and collards. The hubby had the 10oz dadgum burger with just bacon and cheese (hes a simple man,lol).I wish we had had room for dessert, but there was no way that our stomachs would allow for such debauchery. Overall if you are driving on HWY 80 take the time to check it out.

With electrical problems in the kitchen, the ladies somehow made it all work and the full dining area was well fed.

Really great restaurant. We travelled over 40 miles to eat there. My brother discovered the place and told me I had to come try the fried okra. Its just like Mom made. Fresh, not those frozen hard balls you get most everywhere else. Everything else Ive tried there has been great as well. Ive been back 4 times so far and have not ever been disappointed. I especially like the whole catfish from Okeechobee. Really friendly folks too. I even like the old farm decor. Big thumbs up for everything about the place!

If I could give ten stars I would. Let me just say you haven’t truly had a great dining experience until you’ve been here. It’s the most adorable restaurant in the middle of nowhere, the atmosphere inside and out is calm, quiet and relaxing. You feel like you’re at home, it’s just comfortable. The servers are always really really nice and make you feel special plus the food is fantastic and perfect portions, not to mention good prices. The food does take a little longer but only because they actually are back there cooking it for you themselves, unlike what you get at most restaurants now. I highly recommend this place! You guys are the best, seriously!

The food was great for a late night stop on a Thursday night. And sweet Shirley was a kind waitress that showered southern hospitality by making me feel at home. The regulars clearly marked me as a traveler and were also kind and entertaining.

This is such a quaint charming place. I absolutely loved the dining area and its comfort food at its best. A little out of the way but it is perfect for an occasional treat.
We were driving along the rode and spotted this Red barn restaurant, we decided to stop for lunch! 2 of the sweetest ladies made some yummy home cooken! Enjoyed every bite! Variety of menu items. The club sandwich was great, but it needed to be served with a pickle. Burgers looked good too.
