Dont get this way often but when I do I make it a point to stop here. Staff great. Store shower and bathroom are very maintained and are very. Love this place. Trucking is also good.

Must be trolls giving this ace 5 stars. Came in at 2am and everyone including the help was outside listening to music qith a guy in a Tahoe. I just left my stuff on the counter. What a dump.

Worth stopping!! Decent truck parking. Free showers; yes free!! Please, leave a tip for the shower attendant. Its appreciated.1 ladies and 1 mens shower.The shower was cleaner than most major chains. Lots of pressure and hot water.The only negative was not having a place to put my stuff (soap, shampoo, towels, etc...) And no vent or fan.I enjoyed my meal in the Mexican restaurant. The server was nice and checked on me during my meal. The food was hot, fresh and good. The salsa for my chips was not hot. I requested a hotter fresh salsa and it was no problem, very good.I will definitely stop here again.

We enjoyed the clean facilities, fresh community coffee and variety of food options which include hunt bros pizza, subway and my favorite: the Mexican restaurant. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, but none of the womens restroom stalls were flushed.

I use to stop here about twice a week for ten years. I changed jobs so this is the first time Ive been here in a couple years. Hasnt changed. Still very friendly people working here. Still plenty of parking. The Mexican restaurant is still serving great food.( Yes they have inside dining). And still have free clean showers for truckers. I highly recommend you staying here.

VERY clean restrooms. Good pizza by the slice and lots of tractor-trailer parking. An overall good place for a break.They have Community Coffee on tap, so you KNOW this is a quality establishment.

I’ve stopped here twice now. It’s a great stop. Delicious Mexican restaurant. The pizza place is also delicious. Nice people in the store. Free showers which is just so nice. I really enjoy it. One of my top two places to stop at in Louisiana.

No complaints here. The place was clean, staff was friendly to me, not super ecstatic, but not grumpy either.Didnt eat because I had food in the truck. This is the 2nd time that Ive stayed here, and definitely will again.

Today was my second bad experience with the Mexican restaurant here. First I want to say their food had been good in the past but their service leaves allot to be desired. The last time I came in they had a sign on the door saying what time they opened a little late due to a/c problems. I came in after that time and was told I couldnt be served however there were other people in there eating. I waited about 2 months till today to try it again and I came in and sat at a booth. Finally the lady asked me if I wanted to eat. I said yes and at that time she told me if I wanted to be waited on I had to move tables. I was only on the side of the restaurant in a place that wasnt blocked off because I needed to make some calls. I got up and left without eating and went across the street to eat where I had some really good catfish with someone who didnt mind taking my order. That was my last visit to this Mexican restaurant.

This is a nice truck stop offering free showers. The Mexican restaurant was excellent. We enjoyed the chimichanga special. Service was very good. We will definitely stop by here again.

Why would a Mexican restaurant not have any spicy salsa/sauce NO Habenero? The restaurants in this town only cater to locals. The shower was clean and free however.

Free shower..was nice young man cleaning the place threw a nice swab.. People are all great.everyone had smiles..I loved that.. Bad thing was the fish taco sucked,,no clever and sliced avocado on the shell.. What a waist money, other than that nice atmosphere. To the owner thank you for letting us in your home ..

Free showers for truckers. The restaurant has great food. The owner is really nice and so is the staff. We will be back. Plus they have mixed drinks and ice cold beer. We were able to relax and enjoy ourselves.

Very nice truck stop staff...mexican restaurant was great for lunch..i had the stuffed steak...for dinner i came back and had the shrimp fajita, the shrimp were tasteless...i asked for hot sauce to spice it up a bit...and for dessert the fried ice cream was also not a good choice....but the truck stop itself was awesome....good coffee....clean, free showers and to wash was also free...how wonderful...they definitely take care of truckers...mind you theres only 1 washer & dryer...the lady that works in the casino (with the long braid) is so sweet....coffee was cold, she made a fresh pot...what awesome customer service...she was very helpful...all in all...awesome place...i hope Ill be back this way

Really slow service and they werent busy. Food took almost 25 minutes to get to the table. I was about to leave. Portions modest and in my opinion just average to sub-par. Came here for the food after reading other reviews. $11.50 for Combo plate. Not worth it. Likely wont return.

The people were nice enough... But Hunts Pizza??? OMG. I ordered the works. I literally watched the lady open a no label generic frozen cheese pizza, pile additional toppings on it and run it through the roller oven. Been to a Hunts before, and I promise you thats not how they do it. The frozen cheese pizza was barely warm in the center. None of the toppings were more then warm and a majority of them didnt stay on the pizza because they just sitting on top of a 99 cent generic frozen cheese pizza.

Cheaper diesel, clean restroom, free subway with fill up, subway was immaculate.

Great mex food. Always share THE VOLCANO with hubby. Showers are clean and free for truckers. Here almost weekly so enjoy the small casino with great ladies taking care of your needs. Lot is huge dirt

Awesome truck stop! Free showers and Wi-Fi. Tip the maintenance man well. Clean showers and restrooms. Great restaurants. Had a Monday delivery at Wal-Mart DC, 2 miles down the rode and did a 34hr reset here waiting over the weekend. And a casino also. Great stop.

Of all the little truckstop in the area, this is the one you want. They have a Subway, a Godfathers Pizza and and rockin Tex-Mex place.I dont do casinos, but my partner went in with $6 and came out with $33.Heres the kicker, they have free showers!

Visited the travel plaza and restaurant, the food was awesome. Clean,friendly service, your average selections in the plaza.

The food was ok but the waitress never came back to check on me and as I was waiting to pay out, I witnessed a man who barked at the waitresses to clean the tables off NOW! I dont know who he was but I will DEFINITELY never eat here again nor would I refer any of my friends or family to this place!

The Worst Mexican restaurant in truck stopFirst of all, the soup and entrée were brought at the same time. The soup was simply hot water and two pieces of beef (where are the onions, cilantro, and jalapeños?). The tilapia had some sort of taste that I couldnt put my finger on, as well as being overcooked.

Place is nice, met a nice young Chilean child.
